Path of Exile 2 Patch 0.5.0 Earthquake Titan Build Crafting: A Solid Choice for the Mid League Shake-Up!

Category: Path Of Exile 2 Posted: Jul 07, 2026 Views: 8

As Path of Exile 2 Patch 0.5.0 reaches its mid-cycle, you might be losing interest in your current Ascendancy. It could be the perfect time to switch classes or create a new character to explore different playstyles.

If you previously played Monk's new Martial Artist Ascendancy, Titan is a great next choice. While it may not be a top-tier meta pick in 0.5.0, it is certainly capable and might be easier for you to master quickly.

Here, we introduce Earthquake Titan build, a setup that offers a satisfying gameplay experience and solid performance in the current PoE 2 meta. If you're interested, feel free to give it a try using this guide!

Path of Exile 2 Patch 0.5.0 Earthquake Titan Build Crafting: A Solid Choice for the Mid League Shake-Up!

Earthquake Titan Build overview

Overall, this is a build that allows for one-button gameplay, with the occasional need to press a second key to cast Infinite Cry. This skill not only clears the ignite status but also applies a powerful debuff that reduces the damage enemies deal to you.

Earthquake Titan build utilizes Blink skill for mobility and relies on Chaos Inoculation (CI) for defense.

Since the build requires stacking Rage, and Berserk causes life loss for every stack of Rage, CI effectively negates this downside, allowing you to stack Rage freely.

However, to make this work, you need to ensure your gear includes a flat life regeneration modifier. It is generally recommended to start with a helmet and buy PoE 2 currency on IGGM to re-roll its modifiers to secure this stat.

Skills and talents

By default, the build's core skill, Earthquake, has a 4-second duration before Aftershock triggers; your goal is to reduce this duration to 0 seconds.

To achieve this, first utilize Near at Hand notable passive on the skill tree. Ideally, you should also acquire Palm of the Dreamer Shrine Sceptre, as this weapon reduces skill effect duration by 13%.

If you are on a tight budget or playing in SSF mode and cannot easily obtain that weapon, you can slot Overabundance support gem into Earthquake as an alternative.

Next, you need to unlock additional passive nodes that reduce skill effect duration.

Titan's Hulking Form node amplifies the effects of small passive nodes, including those that reduce skill duration. This setup offers a massive DPS boost because Aftershock acts essentially as a free, simultaneously triggered extra skill.

Regarding defense, you can unlock the major nodes along the energy shield path; combined with the substantial percentage-based bonuses from Hulking Form, your survivability will be very reliable.

You can stack cooldown recovery speed via Authority. This stat is crucial because Earthquake Titan build utilizes Time of Need and Blink, both of which rely on cooldown recovery speed.

Pairing this with Ghost Dance, which grants Energy Shield based on Evasion, further ties into the cooldown recovery speed stat. Additionally, Wind Dancer helps you gain more evasion.

How to configure gear and maximize their effectiveness?

For the weapon, we recommend Sadist's Mercy Flanged Mace. It isn't currently a hot item on the trade market, so finding one is easy; however, if your budget allows, you should prioritize a version with maximum rolls.

Next, you'll need to corrupt it. During this process, maximizing Attack Speed is the top priority, followed by Critical Strike Chance, as the build benefits significantly from critical hits.

The weapon's standout feature is its chance to inflict Gruelling Madness on enemies, causing a massive slow effect that doubles as a defensive measure.

Furthermore, the weapon boasts a very high base Critical Strike Chance, making it easy to stack crit stats for a damage boost, and it comes with inherently fast attack speed.

For the helmet slot, equip Constricting Command Viper Cap. It's "requires fewer enemies to be surrounded" affix means you can trigger its passive effect with just a single nearby enemy.

This allows you to cast skills even when low on mana, provided you are surrounded, and grants your attacks the lucky effect, which inherently boosts damage.

The helmet also offers solid defensive capabilities, including a massive Evasion bonus and resistance to stun and elemental ailments.

Among defensive gear, Mageblood Utility Belt is a perfect choice, though difficult to acquire, especially when paired with dual Jade Flasks. It provides excellent flat bonuses to both Evasion and Armor.

If you don't have Mageblood, Ingenuity serves as a solid alternative. This belt enhances the bonuses provided by your rings, allowing you to opt for rings with evasion rating prefixes.

Jewels and Keystone Passives

Given the build's high evasion, you can pair Spectral Ward with a Megalomaniac Diamond jewel. Additionally, it is advisable to include jewels that provide global boosts to armor, evasion, and energy shield.

A Heart of the Well Diamond jewel offers additional Lightning damage; since Earthquake Titan build applies Shock debuff, increasing damage taken by enemies by 20%, this jewel synergizes well, while also providing bonuses to critical strike chance and attack speed.

Another recommended jewel is Time-Lost Ruby. With a radius spanning the medium-to-large range, it grants unique bonuses to passive nodes within its area of effect, such as increased armor or rage generation upon hitting enemies with melee attacks.

For this, focus on passive nodes within the medium range, prioritizing those that increase Maximum Rage, as reaching 50 Rage is crucial for this build.

Heroic Tragedy Timeless Jewel (Vorana variant) converts the standard Blood Magic into Black Scythe Training, granting an Energy Shield bonus instead of the life bonus, a significant difference in effect.

We hope this overview of crafting Earthquake Titan build for Patch 0.5.0 enriches your Path of Exile 2 combat experience in the time ahead!
