To welcome the hot summer, MLB 25 has also taken this opportunity to launch a number of new events, so that you can not only get new baseball fun in the game through them, but also earn more stubs, player cards, and other necessary items.

Among all the new activities, Prime program and double XP are the most attractive. The former means another wave of new powerful player cards, and the latter means that you can level up faster to earn related rewards!

Based on this, we will introduce you to these two activities and other small events that MLB The Show 25 will launch to help you earn more rewards from them!

MLB The Show 25 Prime Cards And Double XP: How To Get Them In Upcoming Events?

Prime Program

In addition to redeeming by existing MLB The Show 25 stubs, the best way to earn player cards is to complete the tasks in each program, because player cards are the main rewards of these tasks.

Prime program requires you to utilize Prime series players to complete Prime series and statistical tasks, and collect Prime series players in Prime series collection to advance the entire program’s progress.

Your Diamond Dynasty team will then have the opportunity to receive the following player cards as rewards:

  • Richie Sexson, 1B, Milwaukee Brewers (95 OVR)
  • Salvador Perez, C, Kansas City Royals (94 OVR)
  • Charlie Morton, SP, Tampa Bay Rays (93 OVR)
  • Mike Cameron, CF, Seattle Mariners (93 OVR)
  • Jesse Chavez, RP, Atlanta Braves (92 OVR)

Prime Choice Pack

This pack includes players from the 95 OVR, 94, OVR, & 92 OVR tiers, and you can choose one from each tier through The Show Shop. All available player cards include:

  • Jason Varitek, C, Boston Red Sox (95 OVR)
  • Terry Pendleton, 3B, Atlanta Braves (95 OVR)
  • Michael Young, SS, Texas Rangers (94 OVR)
  • Jim Kaat, SP, Chicago White Sox (94 OVR)
  • Tommy Pham, LF, St. Louis Cardinals (94 OVR)
  • Luis Aparicio, SS, Baltimore Orioles (92 OVR)
  • Bill Mazeroski, 2B, Pittsburgh Pirates (92 OVR)
  • Robin Roberts, SP, Philadelphia Phillies (92 OVR)

It is worth noting that you can only get up to three of this pack, and each one needs 25,000 stubs, so do what you can.

Prime Series Collection

This collection can be found in Legends & Flashbacks Collections, and will reward you with the following rewards once you collect a certain number of Legends & Flashback player items:

  • Collect 8: Ian Kinsler, 2B, Texas Rangers (95 OVR)
  • Collect 16: Lance Berkman, RF, Houston Astros (96 OVR)

Double XP

This event is not a standalone event, but rather allows you to earn double XP by playing any in-game content from June 27 to July 8 to unlock the remaining rewards in 4th Inning XP Reward Path and prepare for 5th Inning XP, which will begin on July 3.

Double PXP

This event is for the new PXP Paradise Diamond Quest and will be available until July 3. The series of 30 specific content, you can challenge and complete the boss-filled map to earn PXP - you can earn double until July 3.

As you complete more missions, you will also have the opportunity to earn epic rewards Prime Deluxe Packs and rare rewards Ballin’ is a Habit Packs. It is worth noting that these reward packs can help to complete your Prime collection!

Other Events Worth Participating In

In addition to the above main events, in order to seize every opportunity to earn player cards and stubs, you need to make full use of all the playable content in your spare time. We will introduce them one by one.

Thinking About Three Event

This event requires you to recruit a batter with a speed of more than 80, a pitcher of gold medal or below, a catcher and a first baseman to form a team, and utilize the huge gap in the stadium to decide the winner. The key to victory is speed.

New Conquest Mode Map

This mode introduces a map called Sunglasses, which means you can attack territory, seize the opponent’s fans, reinforce your own territory, and move fans. Winning this mode will provide XP or player packs as rewards.

Chase Pack 16

To get a Chase Pack 16, you need to own one The Show 50 pack. Each Chase Pack guarantees you 1 Diamond player item and may bring you the featured player item 2nd Half Heroes Series Trea Turner.

Challenge Of The Week 16

The challenge pits 2023 All-Star Spencer Strider against two-time All-Star Cody Bellinger. All you have to do is play as Bellinger and challenge the computer-controlled Strider to accumulate hits and score as many points as possible within three outs to win MLB 25 stubs.

In addition to the above, the game will launch more new content in the first week of July, including a new non-Cornerstone Evolution Program and brand-new June Spotlight Program & Pack, as well as All-Star Weekend that will start on July 11. Don’t miss it!
