How to Fish Beginner's Guide | Fishing, Combat and Bosses Tips

How to Fish is an indie game developed by just two people. Although its visuals are rough around the edges, it has won the affection of many players.
Simply put, you and your friends are drinking on a boat when disaster strikes and you are shipwrecked on a deserted island. To make money and eventually escape the island and return home, you must embark on a no-holds-barred fishing career.

Initial Objectives
After entering the game, the beach will be your main area of activity. Your Health Bar and Food Bar are displayed in the bottom-left corner of the screen, and you need to keep eating to survive.
During the early stages, there is no need to rush into fishing. It is recommended to collect clams along the beach first.
You can sell the clams to the nearby NPC. He will eat the clams and give you gold in return. Each clam is worth $1.
Your first priority is to save enough money for a Crab-fishing Rod, which is essential for catching crabs. It is also recommended to get higher-level Bait, as better bait makes it easier to attract more valuable fish.
Combat and Resource

Pulling a fish out of the water with a fishing rod is only the first step. Once hooked, the fish does not go straight into your inventory. Instead, it flops around on the ground.
This is when your real "fishing equipment" comes into play. You can pull out your fists, a knife, brass knuckles, a pistol, an SMG, a sniper rifle, or even explosives to smash the fish apart in midair or on the ground. The more elaborate your method of killing a fish, the more valuable it becomes.
During the early game, you have to fight fish with your fists. Some fish have high health, so be careful with your positioning during combat. You can press F to check the current value of an item.
You need to catch fish or collect resources, then sell them to NPCs in exchange for money. That money can be used to obtain better equipment and supplies. Of course, you also need to keep an eye on your Food Bar.
Boss Battles
Your first major thing is saving enough How to Fish gold for a Knife. The Knife can significantly improve your combat efficiency and is essential for defeating later bosses. Once obtained, it can be equipped in your hotbar.
Regular Bait cannot catch bosses, so you need to use special items obtained through quests. For example, the first boss, Spider Crab, can be summoned with an empty beer can, while Pufferfish Boss requires a carrot as bait.
You first need to obtain beer and hand it over to the NPC, who will give you an empty can. Use this empty can to summon the island boss, Spider Crab.
This is not just an ordinary island creature. You should treat it like a boss straight out of DOOM. The correct strategy is to bait the boss into attacking, then deal damage during the brief opening after its attack misses.
Pay attention to the white timer bar below the boss's Health Bar. Once the timer reaches zero, the boss will escape, and you will need to collect the bait again and make another attempt.
After defeating the boss, make sure to pick up its unique quest item. For example, Spider Crab drops a shell that can be exchanged for the Ship Key. You can then take control of the repaired boat and travel to the next island.
Second Island
Each island can unlock an additional inventory slot, making this one of the most important upgrades to prioritize.
On the second island, you can start using a better Fishing Rod. The mechanics are similar, but it allows you to cast farther.
Caught fish can either be sold directly or put into Reel of Fortune. This can reward you with item Skins and other prizes.
There is a quest NPC on the second island who asks you to deliver Leeches. Leeches can be found all over the ground. After delivering enough of them, you will receive the special Leech Bait used to summon the boss in this area.
At this stage, Crab-fishing Rod and Knife from earlier are no longer very useful, so you can discard them. To fight the boss in this area, you should obtain a Shotgun and upgrade it as much as possible.
How to Get Rich?

In the mid-to-late game, the most effective way to accumulate wealth quickly is to use Dynamite. Hold Q to charge the throw, and each explosion can kill around five fish, making it far more efficient than ordinary fishing. You can also use multi-jumps to move across the surface of the water and collect the fish killed by the explosions.
If your boat gets Stuck in shallow water or against an obstacle, you can punch the hull to knock it back into the water.
When facing bosses, an even more efficient strategy is to stockpile a large amount of Dynamite in advance and use it to kill them instantly.
After defeating Blue Shark, give its body to the NPC responsible for grilling. He will give you a Lighter that can be used to ignite the grill. From then on, always Grill your fish before selling them, as this can significantly increase their selling value. Press F to check the increased value.
You can obtain upgrade parts from merchants to add oars and a motor to your boat, increasing its travel speed.
The game also features a gambling mechanic, but it is best avoided because there is a very high chance of losing all your gold.
How to Fish is not meant to be a serious game. Its fun comes from fishing, fighting, and stealing fish from your friends while stranded on a deserted island. Go after the biggest fish you can find.

IGGM Points System & Rules Explained | How to Earn Points, Redeem Coupons, Stack VIP Perks & Get Free Orders?
To provide players with more cost-effective gaming products and services, IGGM platform has officially launched a brand-new points system, designed to let you enjoy a superior shopping experience while spending less!
Below, we break down everything you need to know: how to earn points efficiently, use them for discounts or to redeem exciting rewards, and stack VIP benefits to maximize your savings.
Before Using the Points System - Registration Required
Please note that IGGM's new points system is available only to registered and logged-in users. If you haven't registered or logged in yet, you will need to do so to access Check-in and Points pages.
How to Earn Points?
Accumulating points at IGGM is simple and straightforward, primarily through two channels: daily check-ins and order rewards.
1. Daily Check-in
Simply click the "Check In Today" button on the IGGM Check-in Center page to complete your check-in; once the button changes to "️Checked In (Come back tomorrow)," your points have been successfully credited! Alternatively, you can also check in by clicking the current date on the calendar.
Please note that your check-in time is based on the time zone used when you registered your IGGM account. For example, if you registered your account in PDT (UTC-08:00) time zone, you can only complete the check-in within that time zone on the day in question.
You can view your account registration date on My Profile or Check-in page to ensure you don't miss a check-in!
One-tap check-in (Easter egg)
There's a little Easter egg here! If you forget to check in for the day and land straight on the coupon redemption page, just tap the "little rocket" emoji at the bottom of the list to check in instantly - no need to navigate back to the Check-in Center. You'll still get those incremental rewards for consecutive check-ins.
Please note the visual differences between PC and mobile versions! For PC users, the small rocket only begins to shake and emit flames when you hover your cursor over it; a single click launches the rocket and credits your check-in points. For mobile users, the rocket icon shakes continuously—simply tap it to check in and earn your points instantly!
Other Check-in Entry
In addition, IGGM provides the following access points for quick and convenient daily check-ins:
1. Click "Go Now" on the coupon redemption page to visit the check-in center.
2. Click the coupon section at the bottom of the homepage to access the check-in center.
3. Click the banner at the bottom of any product page on IGGM to access the check-in center.

4. Quickly access the Check-in Center via the My Account → My Orders page.
Incremental Rewards for Consecutive Check-ins
IGGM's check-in system rewards consistency. If you check in without interruption, your daily points will increase over time: 5 points on the first day, 6 points on the second, and 8 points on the third. From the fourth day onwards, as long as you maintain your streak, you will consistently receive the maximum reward of 10 points per day.
Notes: If you check in via the check-in banner on the product page during your shopping journey, you can return to your original page via Back Shopping at the bottom after completing the check-in and triggering the points accumulation. You don't have to worry about your shopping progress being affected!
Reset Upon Interruption
If you miss a day or break your streak for any reason, your progress will reset to zero. Your next check-in will start back at the Day 1 rate of 5 points. Please note that the daily check-in reset is based on the server's time zone; be sure to check in on time to avoid losing progress due to network issues or other interruptions.
2. Points for Orders
Additionally, whenever you make an order on the IGGM platform, the system will award you points based on your subtotal amount.
Point Accrual Rate: $1 = 1 Point
Under standard conditions, every $1 of your actual spending converts directly into 1 point. To simplify calculations for order amounts involving decimals, IGGM rounds to the nearest whole number when determining the points earned. For example, if you pay $17.35, you receive 17 points; if you pay $34.86, you receive 35 points.
To ensure system efficiency for small transactions, the subtotal amount paid for an order must be at least $1 to trigger point accrual; orders under $1 do not generate any points.
Furthermore, points for all orders will be automatically credited to your account by the system only after the order status has officially changed to "Completed"; the number of points corresponds to the amount of the qualifying purchase.
Please note that orders completed without logging into your IGGM account will not be awarded points. Therefore, if you want to earn points to redeem for more offers, register and log into your account now!
New User Perk: 10x Point Rewards
IGGM has a welcome gift for new users! Your first paid order on IGGM automatically qualifies for a generous 10x points reward.
However, if your first order's subtotal is less than $1, you will not receive any points, and your first-order privilege as a new user will be used up. Therefore, IGGM recommends buying higher-value items you need during your first order to make the most of the 10x point reward.

Due to the significant value of this offer, points for the first order will be credited after the order is successfully delivered and passes a security review, provided no refund occurs within 24 hours.
You can view the specific points added upon completion in the My Account → My Orders section of IGGM.com. If you have just completed a payment but do not see the points immediately, please do not worry - simply wait a short while.
Point Value and Validity
Understanding the value of your points helps you make the best use of them. In the IGGM point system, 100 points = $1 (meaning each point is worth approximately $0.01).
Please note that points are not valid indefinitely; each point expires 90 days from the date it was earned. IGGM employs a user-friendly rolling expiration policy: points earned on Day 1 will expire at the end of Day 91. The specific calculation time for rolling expiration depends on the time zone of your account's IP address.
You can check for notifications regarding points nearing expiration on the "My Points" page of your account at any time to ensure you don't miss out on benefits.
Multiple Ways to Use Points: Direct Cash Deduction and Coupon Exchange
When buying items on IGGM, you can choose to use your accumulated points to directly offset the cash cost of your order or exchange them for significant discounts at IGGM Coupon Redemption Center. The choice is entirely yours!
Option A: Direct Cash Deduction at Checkout
On the checkout page, you can use the points in your account balance to reduce the cost of your current order. The proportion of the order total that can be offset by points is directly linked to your order subtotal.
Please refer to the table below for specific deduction ratios based on order subtotal ranges:
Order Subtotal Range Max Point Deduction Ratio $1.00 - $9.99 5% $10.00 - $49.99 8% $50.00+ 10% Important notes on using points for cash deductions:
- Points are awarded only for successfully completed orders; orders that are voluntarily cancelled, flagged for suspected fraud, or fully refunded are not eligible for points;
- Points for your first order are not credited immediately; they will be issued within 24 hours after successful delivery, provided no refund has occurred;
- If an order involving points undergoes a partial refund, the system will deduct the corresponding points (rounded based on the refund amount) and return any points that were consumed. Returned Consumed Points = Consumed Points × (Refund Amount / Subtotal Amount);
- Points can be used in conjunction with VIP discounts;
- Cannot be used in conjunction with discount codes or cash coupons;
- Cannot be exchanged for cash;
- Cannot be withdrawn as cash;
- Cannot be transferred between accounts;
- IGGM.com reserves the right of final interpretation for all points-related policies.
Option B: Redeem Discount Codes or Cash Coupons
You can also visit the points redemption page to exchange points (in tiers ranging from 100 to 500 points) for discount codes (various rates) or cash coupons (subject to minimum order requirements). For example, the $10 cash coupon can only be used if your order's subtotal amount is $95 or more. If your subtotal is less than $95, the coupon will not automatically appear at checkout.
Points Spent Discount Code Cash Coupon (Min. Order Req.) 100 3% $1 (Order ≥ $10) 200 4% $3 (Order ≥ $30) 300 5% $5 (Order ≥ $50) 400 8% $8 (Order ≥ $80) 500 10% $10 (Order ≥ $95)
By the way, if you forget to check in for the day, the little rocket emoji on this coupon page is your quick way to do so! With a simple tap, a shake of the little rocket, and your points are in the bag!
All discount codes and cash coupons are limited to 30 per week, first come, first served! All redeemable rewards reset every Friday at 4:00 PM (UTC+8)/1:00 AM PDT.
Different colors clearly indicate the current stock status: green for 21-30 remaining, orange for 11-20, and red for 1-10. When stock reaches zero, it will display "Out of stock." But don't worry, all redeemable prize inventory resets every Friday at 4:00 PM (UTC+8). Let's do it earlier next time!

While coupons are great, please keep in mind that all discount codes or cash coupons are valid for only 3 days. Redeem them carefully and ensure the items you wish to buy are in stock to avoid wasting your points.
Additionally, please note that all redeemed and used discount codes, cash coupons, and free orders are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and non-restoreable. Therefore, please carefully check the items you wish to buy before using your coupons to avoid losing them due to subsequent refunds or other changes!
You can view your coupons and their current expiration status on the My Account → My Coupons page.
Note: You can now quickly access the coupon redemption page not only through REDEEM button in the product page navigation bar, but also through "Coupon Center" at the bottom of IGGM homepage. We recommend bookmarking this page for convenient future check-ins and redemptions - saving you time and effort.

Notes on Points Redemption Coupons:
- Only registered IGGM users are eligible to participate in points redemption.
- Each reward is limited to the first 30 users per week on a first-come, first-served basis.
-
All discount codes, cash coupons and special items are subject to verification upon redemption. - Redeemed discount codes/cash coupons are valid for 3 days from the time of claim.
- Only one discount code/cash coupon can be used per order. They cannot be combined with VIP discounts or points deductions.
- Discount codes/cash coupons are not valid for gift cards and top-up services.
- Redeemed discount codes, cash coupons, and free orders cannot be returned, exchanged, or restored once claimed or used.
- Each account is limited to one redemption per special item per day.
- Points required for special items are subject to change based on market price fluctuations.
- IGGM.com reserves the right of final interpretation.
Option C: Direct Exchange for In-Game Currency/Items
In addition to coupons, IGGM will also add special points redemption options to the redemption page from time to time, allowing you to directly redeem specific in-game items with points, such as Monopoly GO cards, Diablo 4 materials, or POE 1/2 currency.
However, please note that each special item is limited to one redemption per account per day. Please choose carefully.
Note: Due to varying demand for special items and market price fluctuations, the number of points required to redeem these items may also change. Please monitor IGGM regularly to take advantage of low-point redemption opportunities.
Once you meet the points requirements and click to redeem, a pop-up window will prompt you to enter the necessary delivery details for the game. After accurately filling in the information and completing the verification, the system will automatically generate a free order and display it in Coupon Order list; you just need to wait for it to be delivered safely. More point redemption features and options are coming soon - stay tuned!

If you encounter errors during the redemption verification process, please check your network connection and try again using a reliable VPN.
Furthermore, given the nature of virtual items, returns or exchanges are not possible once an order begins processing; however, if delivery fails due to issues on the IGGM platform, the points used will be fully refunded.

Stacking Discounts and Maximizing Savings
How can you get the most savings when checking out? IGGM has designed a smart checkout system based on our VIP ranks and point-redemption rules.
At IGGM, VIP discounts stack perfectly with direct point deductions. However, please note that redeemed discount codes or cash coupons cannot be combined with VIP discounts or point deductions. Additionally, only one coupons may be used per order.
At checkout, the system automatically compares the final costs of "Option 1 (VIP Benefits + Direct Point Deduction)" and "Option 2 (Single Discount Codes or Cash Coupons)" to select the most cost-effective choice for you, saving you the trouble of manual calculations. Which option offers the best deal will be displayed next to that option (Best Value). Of course, if you have your own preferences regarding coupon and point usage, you are free to select your preferred discount method.

Refunds and Point Returns
IGGM's refund policy allows you to request a refund at any time prior to the completion of delivery. However, we have specific rules regarding the refund and rebate of your points in this situation:
Situation 1: Full Refund
If you cancel your order for personal reasons, orders suspected of fraud or requiring a full refund will not be awarded points; furthermore, points already used in such orders will not be refunded.
However, if a full refund is issued due to reasons attributable to IGGM, the points consumed for the order will be fully refunded to your account.
Situation 2: Partial Refund
If an order involving awarded points undergoes a partial refund due to special circumstances, the system will refund a portion of the consumed points on a pro-rata basis relative to the refund amount. Naturally, the points rebate you would have originally received upon order completion will also be adjusted; the corresponding points will be deducted based on the refund amount, with the figure rounded to the nearest whole number.
Here is the formula for calculating point returns during a refund:
- Returned Consumed Points = Consumed Points × (Refund Amount / Subtotal Amount)
- Deducted Earned Points = Subtotal Amount - Refund Amount (rounded to the nearest whole number)
The all-new IGGM member point system is designed to offer you more viable discount options for your long-term gaming purchases. Every point accumulated is a sincere token of our appreciation for your support.
Log in to your IGGM account now, visit the Check-in Center to start accumulating points, and experience a smarter, more rewarding checkout process like never before!
Frequently Asked Questions about IGGM Points System
Q1: Can I transfer my VIP 5 perks from my old account to a newly created account and start accumulating check-in points there?
A: No. To ensure account security and platform fairness, VIP tiers and points are treated as exclusive assets of an individual account. According to our system security rules, transferring, merging, or gifting perks across different accounts is strictly unsupported.
Q2: My account currently has 277 points. If I buy items worth $34.68 and use up all my points to get a $2.77 deduction, but later receive a partial refund of $15.44 due to certain factors, how many points will I end up with?
A: Your original $34.68 order generates 35 points based on rounding. Due to the partial refund of $15.44, the system will proportionately deduct 15 points (rounded to the nearest whole number). Therefore, the net points earned from this purchase will be: 35 - 15 = 20 points. Additionally, the system will return the points you consumed. Based on the calculation formula: Consumed Points × (Refund Amount / Total Purchase Amount), you will get back 123 points. As a result, your final account balance will be 123 + 20 = 143 points.
Q3: Can I create unlimited new IGGM accounts and place small orders to exploit the 10x points newcomer reward?
A: No. IGGM strictly prohibits the malicious registration of multiple accounts, utilizing technical exploits, or engaging in order manipulation to farm newcomer benefits. Our system is equipped with rigorous anti-fraud and risk control mechanisms: the 10x points multiplier for the first order will only be credited after the order is successfully delivered and passes a 24-hour anti-abuse system review. If the risk control system detects multi-account farming linked by the same IP, same device, same payment method, or malicious account associations, the platform reserves the right to permanently ban the related accounts and clear all accrued benefits.
Q4: I just registered an account and my first order was a small item for $0.9. Because it was under $1, the system didn't give me any points. Then, my second order was for $100. Why didn't my second order get the 10x points? My first order didn't receive any points anyway, shouldn't this second order count as my actual "valid first order"?
A: No. The system strictly identifies the "New User First Order" based on the very first paid order under your account, regardless of the transaction amount. The threshold ruling out points for subtotals under $1 is a foundational platform policy. Therefore, we highly recommend that new users consolidate their shopping carts on their first purchase and bundle higher-value items into the first order to fully maximize the value of the 10x points perk.
Q5: If a website error prevents me from checking in for the day, causing my check-in streak to break, what measures will IGGM take to compensate for my points loss?
A: We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. The daily check-in resets based on a specific time matching the server's time zone. If the streak is broken due to network latency or missing the refresh window, the system will strictly execute the automatic reset policy. We recommend completing your check-in as early as possible each day and ensuring a stable network environment. If the interruption is conclusively caused by a large-scale server outage on the platform, an official site-wide points compensation announcement will be issued once resolved. Please note that support agents do not have the authorization to manually alter individual check-in histories. Thank you for your understanding.
Q6: I spent 300 points to redeem a $5 cash coupon, but the game items I wanted have been out of stock on the platform for the past few days. As a result, the coupon expired within 3 days without being used. The stockout is the platform's issue, so why should my 300 points be deducted for nothing?
A: We apologize, but once a reward is redeemed at the Rewards Center, the corresponding points will be deducted and cannot be refunded. Because each reward is strictly limited to the first 30 users per week on a first-come, first-served basis, and the cash coupons are valid for 3 days, we highly recommend verifying current product stock and your purchase intent before making a redemption to avoid accidental cash coupon expiration.
Q7: Can I still request a refund if my order status is "Completed"? Can the points be refunded?
A: If IGGM has successfully completed the delivery and you have confirmed the order's completion, we unfortunately cannot honor refund requests. The points spent will not be returned. However, if IGGM fails to complete the service due to our own issues (for example, if Tycoon Racers carry service fails to help you achieve Rank #1), we will refund the points you spent according to the refund ratio.
Q8: Why do I keep encountering errors when trying to redeem a coupon?
A: Coupon redemption errors typically occur due to network instability or system security protocols. Your IP address might be flagged as originating from a high-risk region. We recommend adjusting your VPN settings or connecting to a different network, then trying again. If the issue persists, please reach out to our 24/7 Customer Support team for further assistance.
Q9: Can I use a script or plug-in to claim the weekly limited 30 discount codes/cash coupons available each week?
A: To ensure fairness for all players, we have implemented strict security measures. Redeeming any discount codes or cash coupons requires passing verification, rendering any script-based simulated clicks ineffective. IGGM reserves the right to void coupons and impose account restrictions on any account found using irregular methods (such as multi-instance farming, emulators, or third-party software) to forcibly claim coupons.
Q10: If I use points to offset the cost but later receive a refund due to special circumstances, will the validity period of the returned points be extended?
A: No. Returned points retain their original acquisition date and continue to follow the 90-day expiration rule; the IGGM platform will not reset or extend the expiration date due to a refund. Please use the returned points as soon as possible to avoid expiration!
Q11: Will the points required to redeem specific special items on IGGM change?
A: Yes. Considering that the prices of specific items in the game may fluctuate with game updates and changes in market demand, the points required for redeeming special items offered by IGGM will also be adjusted accordingly. However, rest assured that even with these adjustments, the points cost for redeeming items on IGGM remains far below the market price.

EA FC 27 PC Experience Overhaul Detailed With Faster Launch Times, Upgraded Visual Controls, and More
Even though early access for FIFA 27 hasn't even begun yet, the development team released a deep dive at the start of September focusing on optimizing the PC gaming experience, specifically addressing issues identified in the previous title.
While consoles may offer superior visuals, PC players remain a vital part of EA FC community, and the platform excels in terms of hardware scalability and peripheral support.
Based on the latest deep dive, we'll explain how FUT 27 optimizes the PC experience by resolving issues found in the previous game.

Streamlined launch process
For PC players, the complex loading steps and repetitive pop-up windows during the game's launch are major immersion-breakers when trying to get into the competitive action.
During FC 26 era, the development team received significant feedback regarding the excessive time it took to go from launching the game to actually playing a match.
In response, the team has overhauled the launch process for FUT 27 on Steam.
Specifically, they have drastically reduced the number of pop-up windows and visual loading stages, eliminating unnecessary waiting times before reaching the main menu.
Additionally, FIFA 27 shortens the time between launch and kickoff. While the exact reduction depends on your hardware configuration, the experience is certainly much faster than before.
Expanded graphics presets
When dealing with hardware limitations, lowering graphics settings is often necessary to prevent stuttering, yet no one wants to play a match that looks like a blurry mess.
To address this, FIFA 27 introduces Performance and Balanced graphics presets, while ensuring that High and Ultra settings can achieve at least 80fps and 120fps, respectively.
Beyond presets, you can fine-tune individual graphics settings to suit your specific needs and hardware capabilities, creating a visual experience tailored to your preferences.
FIFA 27 also adds a VRAM indicator to the graphics settings menu. This provides real-time feedback on the estimated video memory usage as you adjust various visual parameters.
This not only provides a clearer hardware benchmark but also effectively prevents issues like frame drops or delayed texture loading caused by VRAM overflow.

Fully optimized keyboard controls
Sports simulation games, includin FC series, have long been perceived as better suited for controllers, as PC keyboard setups often felt somewhat clunky by comparison.
Recognizing the significant PC player base, the developers decided to address this issue by introducing updated keyboard controls in FIFA 27.
The team redesigned the default key layout with PC keyboard players' habits in mind, making frequently used in-match actions easier to execute.
Specifically, the deeply optimized WASD and arrow key layouts allow for smoother, more natural transitions between different player actions in FUT 27.
Additionally, new keyboard shortcuts enable you to trigger tactical commands with a single keypress, without disrupting core movement, thereby boosting tactical flexibility during matches and helping you earn more FC 27 coins.
Of course, if you prefer your own custom setup over these changes, full key remapping remains available.

Elevated visual quality
If you have a high-end PC, you'll want visuals that rival the console experience. To meet this demand, FIFA 27 introduces Enhanced Ultra Visuals option that goes beyond the previous top-tier Ultra preset.
Enabling this option unlocks superior visual detail, including finer rendering of jersey fabrics, realistic pitch deformation, dynamic lighting, and enhanced stadium atmosphere.
To protect your hardware's performance, Enhanced Ultra Visuals is disabled by default; we recommend enabling it only if your PC has powerful processing capabilities.
Improved social features
In previous FUT titles, Steam-based PC players faced a cumbersome process when trying to team up with friends using EA platform.
To resolve this, FUT 27 automatically displays and links your Steam friends via EA Connect. This allows you to add friends instantly and invite them directly to a squad, significantly lowering the barrier to entry for online play.
Responsiveness & performance optimizations
In FIFA 26, issues such as game lag or unresponsive controls caused by high CPU usage were occasionally encountered. To address this, the development team implemented targeted optimizations, significantly enhancing responsiveness during matches in FC 27.
As for performance, the final results depend on your specific hardware setup. Therefore, for the best experience, it is recommended to use an SSD for storage and a dual-channel memory configuration.
What positive impacts do these changes bring?
This series of technical innovations for the PC version of FIFA 27 lowers the barrier to entry for newcomers and users with low-to-mid-range hardware by streamlining initial game setup processes.
Meanwhile, upgrades to performance and online functionality create a more stable and responsive gaming environment for PC players, ensuring fair competition against players on other platforms.
For a long time, the PC experience for most sports simulation games has suffered from issues like feeling like a mere port and lagging behind in optimization.
However, FUT 27 demonstrates a strong commitment to the PC platform by actively optimizing various aspects, such as startup speed, control schemes, and graphics presets, based on player feedback from previous titles.
This development approach, prioritizing player experience and feedback while leveraging cutting-edge technology, undoubtedly sets a new standard for PC development and optimization in the genre.
As the release date for EA FC 27 approaches, PC players can look forward to unlocking an unprecedented virtual soccer experience, driven by deeply revamped controls, enhanced visuals, and much more.

Elder Scrolls Online Warden Rework Details Overhaul Unveiled: Adjustments to the Next Class Order and Schedule
Elder Scrolls Online announced plans to rework its classes late last year. Given that the game has been live for over a decade, the addition of new mechanics meant that the classes required modernization to better align with the current state of the game.
To this end, the development team established a preliminary schedule for reworking the seven existing classes. The rework for the first chosen class, Dragonknight, was largely completed this past spring.
Logically, the rework for the second class on the list, Warden, was expected to launch around August of this year. However, internal layoffs and restructuring at the developer during the summer necessitated adjustments to ESO class rework plan and schedule.

Changes to the rework order
Under the original schedule, Sorcerer was slated to follow Warden. However, perhaps because Sorcerer requires more development time, ESO switched the third slot to Templar to ensure a more cohesive rework process.
It has not yet been announced whether Sorcerer has been moved to the fourth slot or pushed to the very end, nor whether the rework order for other classes will undergo further adjustments. These details may be revealed once Warden rework is complete.

What are Warden's past shortcomings?
Since its introduction in Morrowind expansion, Warden has quickly become one of the most popular ESO classes, thanks to its unique affinity for nature, frost magic, and summoning mechanics.
However, over time, the class has shown its age regarding mechanical design and visual presentation. Issues include a lack of a unified visual theme, as well as shortcomings in skill effectiveness and class-specific mechanics.
Consequently, the development team plans to overhaul the class's underlying mechanics while preserving its core gameplay identity.
Confirmed details of Warden rework
To reassure players and demonstrate that the class rework process is ongoing, Elder Scrolls Online recently released further details regarding Warden rework.
Expanding skill lines to cover more playstyles
For a long time, the designs of ESO Warden's three skill lines, Animal Companions, Green Balance, and Winter's Embrace, were too rigidly tied to the traditional MMO holy trinity of roles (DPS, Healer, and Tank).
This meant that attempting cross-class builds often resulted in fragmented skill sets and poor synergy. To address this, the development team plans to rework Warden so that each skill line is capable of fulfilling multiple combat roles.
This eliminates the need to slot skills that clash with your current build style simply to unlock a specific passive buff, resulting in smoother synergies and more refined rotations across various Warden skill combinations.
Enhancing the cohesion of the four seasons mechanic
Beyond the issues with skill lines, Warden previously lacked a unifying core mechanic. To resolve this, the rework introduces a new concept based on the changing of the four seasons.
Specifically, Elder Scrolls Online will strengthen the connection between specific Warden skills and the rhythm of the seasons. Different seasons will correspond to distinct skill effects, creating a dynamic flow that shifts as the seasons change.
During combat, you can cast skills aligned with specific seasonal traits based on the situation, triggering corresponding passive or enhanced effects, thereby boosting your ESO gold farming efficiency as a Warden.
The development team has also expanded and refined the visual effects of certain skills to reflect the unique characteristics of each season.
For instance, the petals of the active Green Balance skill Lotus Flower will change appearance based on the current season: taking on an icy look in winter or displaying maple-leaf hues in autumn.

Strengthening the connection to Tamriel as a whole
Although Warden was introduced in Morrowind expansion and naturally reflects that region's characteristics, it is essential to strengthen the class's connection to the broader world of Tamriel now that the expansion has been integrated into the base game.
Previously, Warden's visual identity was closely tied to the province of Morrowind, emphasizing the unique flora and fauna of Vvardenfell Island.
Following the rework, Warden will break free from this limitation, aiming instead to showcase the natural world of Tamriel in a more universal way.
Specific skill changes
In addition to the overarching changes mentioned above, ESO is introducing a new Warden skill called Spriggan. This skill summons a spriggan to aid you in battle, highlighting Warden's bond with nature's creatures.
The development team has also announced visual improvements for the active skill Betty Netch. The original version summoned a rather large Netch that could be visually distracting; the optimized version features a smaller Netch with more fluid movement.
The future direction of ESO
Recent announcements regarding Warden rework in Elder Scrolls Online reveal a shift in development philosophy: moving away from simply rolling out pre-planned content toward an iterative process driven by player feedback.
Regarding class reworks specifically, this approach emphasizes hybridization and universalization, ensuring that every class retains its distinctive identity while seamlessly adapting to the game's increasingly diverse gameplay mechanics.
Furthermore, the development team has resisted the urge to rush out reworks following internal staffing changes; instead, they have adjusted schedules and priorities to guarantee high-quality results. This reflects their confidence in the game's steady, long-term growth.
In short, while the release date for Warden rework remains unconfirmed, Elder Scrolls Online deserves our continued trust. An enhanced class experience awaits you in the near future!

Helldivers 2 Update 7.1 Confirmed: New Warbond and Two Mysterious Rewards Coming in September
Players, Helldivers 2 has finally released some exciting news - the content roadmap after Major Update 7.0 has been presented to all valiant warriors, including the upcoming Update 7.1.
While the roadmap only outlines the main content of Update 7.1 and doesn't reveal more specific details, it's already enough to spark widespread discussion among players.
Now, based on the currently released information, we've compiled a summary of the core content of Helldivers 2 Update 7.1, its possible release window, and the focus of attention in the player community, helping you prepare for battle!
Update 7.1 Core Content
According to the official roadmap, players can see that Update 7.1 will explicitly include two elements: a new Warbond and two brand-new rewards.
As a regular feature of Helldivers 2 content, Warbonds usually come with new armor sets, weapon skins, emotes, Super Credits, and other unlockable items.
Regarding the two new rewards mentioned by the official team, we can infer from the differences in wording in subsequent updates on the roadmap (such as Update 7.2 New Reward) that these rewards likely refer to Campaign rewards.
Unlike items that are unlocked progressively within Warbond, these two rewards may require participation in specific Galactic War fronts and completion of stage objectives.
While the official theme and specific reward types for the new Warbond haven't been revealed yet, based on Helldivers 2's past update cadence, new Warbonds often come with a new gameplay style or weapon category.
For example, explosive weapons, energy-based weapons, or melee enhancements.
It is recommended that players stockpile Helldivers 2 Super Credits in advance to unlock desired content as soon as the new Warbond in Update 7.1 is released.

Release Date
The roadmap only indicates that Update 7.1 will be released in September, without providing a more specific date.
Looking back at the deployment patterns of previous Warbond updates in the game, we've noticed that most content updates tend to fall in the latter half of each month, such as around the 25th.
This timing has previously caused dissatisfaction among some players, who felt that releasing at the end of the month would reduce their playable time that month and potentially conflict with events in other games.
Judging from community discussions, if Update 7.1 is also scheduled for release in the last week of September, it will probably remain unacceptable to some players.
However, Helldivers 2 development team seems to have accelerated its patch release pace recently, with Major Update 7.0 already released. Therefore, the possibility of Update 7.1 launching in mid-September or the third week of September cannot be ruled out.
Regardless of the final date, players are advised to pay close attention to official announcements and complete their daily Personal Orders and current Warbond cleanup before Update 7.1 to avoid wasting resources during the transition between old and new content.

Player Anticipation
Although the description of Update 7.1 is rather concise, players generally seem to view it as a prelude to the major events of October (Liberty Day event, new biomes, new enemies, new missions, etc.).
Many veteran players believe that while this update may seem small, the two new rewards could have a crucial impact on the subsequent Galactic War, such as providing support weapons for Terminids or Automatons.
Furthermore, regarding the recently circulated Stratagem Beacon Bounce Fix Mods, after multiple rounds of testing, these mods have brought no substantial changes, and their code source is controversial, even suspected of being AI-generated.
Therefore, it is recommended that players not rely too much on unofficial patches and patiently wait for the official update logs.
If you encounter abnormal bounces when throwing Stratagem Balls in Helldivers 2, try adjusting the throwing angle or choosing a flatter surface; this is often more reliable than third-party tools.

How to prepare for Update 7.1?
Since the exact release date of Update 7.1 is unknown, it's best to prepare in-game now to be more prepared.
Reserve Resources
First, ensure you have at least 1000 Helldivers 2 Super Credits to unlock the new Warbond mentioned on the roadmap.
Simultaneously, start accumulating Medals in-game to quickly level up after the new Warbond's release.
Clear Current Warbonds
If your current Helldivers 2 Warbond isn't finished, hurry up and claim all unlocked rewards before Update 7.1 to avoid being distracted and neglecting other tasks after the new Warbond's release.
Monitor Campaign Progress
As mentioned earlier, the two new rewards in the update are likely tied to specific campaigns, so actively participate in all phases of your current Galactic War to ensure you have enough contribution points to unlock the rewards.
Keep Your Client Stable
Finally, because Helldivers 2 often has hotfix patches before and after major updates, you can enable automatic updates and restart the game promptly after updating to avoid caching issues.
While Update 7.1 doesn't have the same mystique and abundance of new features as the October update, it likely lays the necessary groundwork for the upcoming Liberty Day event and new enemies.
For all Helldivers players, every Warbond update is a great opportunity to adjust your gear and try new tactics, so planning ahead, regardless of when Update 7.1 goes live, will always get you further!

Will Frozen Trail Bring a PvE Mode to ARC Raiders? | August 31 Interview May Have the Answer
ARC Raiders' Frozen Trail will arrive on October 8, and the player community is starting to recover. The official team has stated that Frozen Trail Update will almost reshape the entire game, while one of the biggest questions among players is whether a PvE mode will be introduced.
Although ARC Raiders producer did not directly answer this question, they did discuss the matchmaking system, which may indirectly provide us with an answer.

ABMM Revealed
In an interview, the executive producer of ARC Raiders discussed the mechanics behind ABMM. The system was actually finalized very late in the development cycle, so late that it did not even make it into the game's final public test.
As a result, the player community spent months after launch trying to reverse-engineer a system that the development team itself was still experimenting with.
Over the past year, the team has continued refining the system, including which behaviors are taken into account, how much weight each behavior receives, and even how different player groups are divided.
PvP, PvE and Mix Groups
After extensive experimentation, the official team has finally revealed more details about how the matchmaking system divides players into different groups.
According to the internal metrics, the overall player ecosystem is currently in a healthy state. Social players with a low tendency toward PvP and competitive players with a strong PvP focus have each formed relatively stable groups, while there is also some overlap between the two sides.
The game is not simply divided into peaceful servers and hostile servers. The system intentionally preserves uncertainty. A player who usually focuses on social cooperation may suddenly choose to initiate PvP on a given day, and the opposite can happen as well.
The development team wants even low-PvP matches to retain the possibility of combat, while high-PvP lobbies can still contain unexpected friendly social interactions.
The most noteworthy data comes from statistics previously shared by the official team:
- Around 30% of players primarily engage in PvE and team-based content.
- Around 30% of players focus mainly on PvP.
- Around 40% of players are interested in both playstyles and belong to the mixed group.
Nearly half of all players have completed fewer than 10 raids, while roughly one in five players has never taken down a single Raider.
Simply dividing the player community into PvE and PvP camps is an oversimplification. The actual mainstream group consists of players who switch between playstyles depending on their mood that day, their team composition, or their current objectives.

Refining ABMM
The official team actually implemented an important change on July 7. Player behavior data is now tracked separately for solo, duo, and trio modes. Before this change, everything you did in solo matches directly affected your matchmaking evaluation in trio matches, which was clearly not ideal.
July 28 Live Update 1.39.0 then introduced Defensive PvP detection. If another squad initiated the fight and you were simply responding in self-defense, that defensive encounter may not be counted toward your behavioral evaluation score.
Why Does ABMM lead to Players Needing PvE?
ABMM was indeed very successful. Before its mechanics were made public, it brought players a lot of enjoyment because nobody knew exactly what kind of people they would encounter in the next match.
However, as players began uncovering how the system worked and the official team openly acknowledged its existence, the experience of ARC Raiders changed significantly.
After ABMM became public knowledge, many players began deliberately manipulating the system. Some players who preferred peaceful encounters would intentionally reduce their aggression in order to enter friendlier matches. In simple terms, players started paying attention to the system's variables rather than the players standing in front of them.
As a result, there have been many matches where the players' main objective was simply to manipulate ABMM variables rather than genuinely enjoy the game.
This has effectively reduced the number of true PvPvE players. These are players who generally do not attack others first, but will fight back aggressively when attacked.
Once ABMM became public knowledge, players could no longer simply follow their first instinct and pull the trigger. Instead, they had to consider whether their actions would affect their ABMM evaluation.
This has also made the player split increasingly obvious, which in turn has fueled growing demand within the community for a purely PvE mode.
Some players want ABMM to function only as a weighting factor rather than a hard threshold. For example, SBMM and ABMM could be combined so that the system matches players based on both ARC Raiders items and player behavior, or aggression could decay more slowly and smoothly.
Official Stance on PvE
A PvE mode is a request that appears under almost every ARC Raiders video. In this interview, the official team directly addressed the demand, acknowledging that many players want to preserve the world and gameplay of ARC Raiders while simply avoiding interference from PvP.
In November 2025, the official team stated in an interview that a pure PvE mode was possible, but no specific timeline could be provided. By May 2026, however, the team clarified that there were no pure PvE servers in the current game.
During August 31 interview, the official position remained unchanged. Considering that around 40% of players belong to the mixed group, simply adding a pure PvE mode could instead fragment the player ecosystem and weaken the uncertainty and tension that are central to the game's experience.
Overall, the official team currently has no plans to introduce a purely PvE mode. This conclusion is based on player data. For now, all expectations have been placed on Frozen Trail, with the hope that it will deliver enough new content to keep players engaged.

WoW TBC Classic Anniversary Phase 3 Rogue PvP Guide: Best Gear, Talents for Double-DPS Stealth Build
With the release of Phase 3 of WoW TBC Classic Anniversary, gear selection and talent configurations for Rogues in the arena have undergone significant changes. Whether you're playing a dual-DPS build or a traditional team with a healer, a well-thought-out gear strategy can help you gain an advantage in crucial matches.
This article will introduce the current gear, gem, and talent configurations for Rogues in Phase 3 PvP environment, focusing on the trade-offs between key attributes such as stealth and hit rating.
Gear Selection: Double-DPS Stealth Build

For Double-DPS Rogues, gear selection shouldn't be based solely on stats. Compared to simply stacking DPS, stealth level, hit rating, and the ability to initiate attacks are often more important. In Rogue mirror matches and various double-stealth builds, whoever can spot and control their opponent first is more likely to control the pace of the game.
This gear setup involves multiple pieces of PvP and PvE equipment, as well as engineering gear, gems, and other resources. Therefore, before starting the setup, it's recommended to plan the order in which you acquire gear and how you use WoW TBC Classic Anniversary gold, prioritizing the core gear that has the greatest impact on PvP combat.
Head: Deathblow X11 Goggles
For dual DPS compositions, the initiative at the start often determines the course of the entire match.
If you're playing a dual stealth composition, such as Rogue/Rogue, Rogue/Mage, or Rogue/Feral, Deathblow X11 Goggles are recommended. When both sides are in stealth mode, you can coordinate with your teammates to activate your goggles, actively seeking out and seizing the initiative.
However, for non-dual stealth compositions like Rogue/Shadow Priest, the situation is different. When facing an enemy dual stealth lineup, you can't predict the opponent's specific composition in advance, and rashly activating sprints to find targets can easily waste crucial abilities. Therefore, epic engineering goggles are more recommended.
Neck: Amulet of Bitter Hatred
Rogue's Heightened Senses reduce their chance to be hit by spells and ranged attacks by 4%. Therefore, to ensure Blind consistently hits enemy Rogues without Evasion active, you need to maximize their hit rating to 9%.
Therefore, the hit rating provided by Amulet of Bitter Hatred is crucial, and it's a better fit for this build than Telonicus's Pendant of Mayhem.
Set: Gladiator's Vindication
Shoulders, chest, gloves, and legs all use the S3 four-piece set. For gem socketing, the activation condition for Meta Gems requires more blue gems than yellow gems. Therefore, you can socket 5 Agility / 7 Stamina purple gems into the helmet to meet the activation condition, prioritizing Agility Gems for the remaining slots.
If you want to increase survivability, you can also choose Steady gems, such as 5 Resilience / 7 Stamina. Especially when using Warglaives of Azzinoth and abandoning PvP weapons, resulting in reduced Resilience, Steady Gems can provide some compensation.
Wrist: Insidious Bands
Wristbands can be Insidious Bands or S3 PvP Bands. The core difference is that Insidious Bands trade Resilience and Critical Strike Rating for Hit Rating and Attack Power. As long as your Resilience remains above 200, Insidious Bands are recommended. Rogues are frequently seen in high-ranking matches, making Blind accuracy especially important.
Weapon: Warglaives of Azzinoth

Warglaives of Azzinoth are undoubtedly the top weapon choice for Rogue PvP in TBC Classic Anniversary Phase 3. Besides excellent base stats and weapon damage, dual Warglaives significantly enhance a Rogue's sustained damage and burst potential, especially important for Double DPS builds that rely on melee burst.
Of course, Warglaives are difficult to obtain, and not all players can collect them quickly. If you don't have dual Warglaives yet, you can use S3 PvP weapons directly; there's no need to sacrifice the overall stats of your PvP gear for PvE weapons.
Boots: The Master's Treads
This is one of the core components of this stealth build. Although Shadowmaster's Boots have better regular stats, double-DPS Rogues prioritize stealth level. The Master's Treads provide additional effective stealth level, directly impacting who can spot and sap the opponent first in Rogue mirror matches.
For Double DPS, sap first is often more important than mere stats. Therefore, even sacrificing some stats, it's recommended to keep The Master's Treads.
Gem and Talent Configuration
Meta Gem: Sentinel's Medallion
The recommended meta gem is Sentinel's Medallion, which provides 5% stun resistance. Compared to the snare resistance provided by Surefooted, stun resistance has a higher practical value.
Hamstring, Crippling Poison, or Frost Nova hits usually only affect your mobility; however, successfully resisting a Cheap Shot, Kidney Shot, Bash, or War Stomp can potentially change the outcome of an attack or defense round. For a class like Rogue that heavily relies on tempo and control chains, 5% stun resistance provides a very significant benefit.
Therefore, even if you are using a Healer + Rogue combination, Sentinel's Medallion is still a very worthwhile choice.
Talent: Sleight of Hand + Enveloping Shadows
Sleight of Hand reduces your chance of being critically hit, which is especially valuable in high-ranking environments with many Rogues.
You can allocate 2 points from Camouflage to Sleight of Hand. While this will reduce Stealth's movement speed and increase its cooldown, it will further improve survivability.
If you feel the movement speed loss from Stealth is too significant, you can allocate only 1 point. This adjustment is especially worthwhile for characters using double Warglaives and low Resilience.
When frequently facing combinations with strong AoE crowd control like Priest and Mage, consider Enveloping Shadows.
This talent can provide up to 15% resistance to AoE effects, one of the most important benefits being increased resistance to Psychic Scream.
Furthermore, Enveloping Shadows also increases your resistance to effects like Frost Nova and Cone of Cold, making it particularly valuable against Mage.
In summary, the core of BCC Anniversary Phase 3 Rogue build can be summarized as prioritizing stealth advantage with double DPS, ensuring Blind stability with a 9% hit rating, and supplementing survivability with Resilience and stun resistance.
