Although the scheduled release date is still more than half a year away, GTA 6 trailer that has already been released is enough to keep players excited for quite some time!

As the trailer reveals, GTA 6 not only introduces innovations in gameplay and mechanics but also shifts the tone of the main storyline and thoroughly upgrades technical aspects such as graphics and sound effects.

However, players always harbor even greater expectations for a new title, especially Grand Theft Auto VI given that not all of its content has been officially unveiled yet.

Based on community feedback and the current state of GTA series, we will now analyze what additional content could be incorporated to ensure players are even more satisfied with GTA 6.

A better gunplay experience

For the most part, Grand Theft Auto series seems to be best known as a racing game; in reality, however, it seamlessly integrates many elements typically found in thrilling crime movies, most notably gunfights.

In fact, Max Payne 3, developed by the same studio, is an excellent example of a gun-centric game. Despite having been released over a decade ago, it offers valuable lessons and mechanics that GTA 6 could certainly draw upon.

To achieve this, the primary objective must be to ensure that when players control their characters during combat, the transitions between actions, such as standing, diving, landing, and firing, are sufficiently fluid and natural.

Furthermore, the cover system, specifically the mechanics for entering and exiting cover, requires innovation.

Fortunately, based on the information and footage currently available, the transitions between indoor gunfight scenarios in GTA 6 appear fluid and seamless, a significant improvement over its predecessor, GTA V.

The economic system needs upgrades

Money serves as the primary currency in GTA 6, allowing you to acquire luxury vehicles, clothing, and real estate within the game world. These assets not only help drive the narrative forward but also unlock opportunities to generate even greater income.

However, judging by the performance of previous titles in the series, various in-game transactions have often felt highly illogical.

For instance, consuming a fortune to acquire a fire truck that serves little practical purpose, or getting a high-end vehicle, such as Uber-marked Sentinel Classic, only to find that it handles sluggishly.

Some players suspect that the developers implement these mechanics specifically to incentivize greater engagement with in-game micro-transactions.

Yet, this approach backfires: on one hand, such disproportionate returns dampen players' enthusiasm for consuming their hard-earned in-game cash; on the other, it distorts the game's internal economy and market environment.

While there is no guarantee that GTA 6 will fundamentally alter this dynamic, the developers should at the very least optimize the item system.

This would ensure that practical in-game assets fulfill their intended utility and value, rather than merely serving as expensive display pieces.

In short, a comprehensive overhaul of the economic system is needed to inject a greater sense of fairness into the game, reducing extreme competitive imbalances, which would help attract and retain new players.

Enhancing airport gameplay

Historically, GTA series has done a rather poor job of fleshing out its airport environments. In GTA V, at least, there is almost nothing to do at the airport: there are no accessible buildings, nor are there any details such as bustling crowds of travelers.

By comparison, Escobar International Airport in GTA: Vice City was handled somewhat better. You could actually enter the terminal interior and observe everything taking place inside.

Although the content within that airport wasn't particularly extensive, and the overall design still felt a bit rudimentary, it did, at the very least, offer some fresh experiences.

Therefore, as the latest installment in the series, GTA VI should significantly enrich airport functionality, incorporating elements such as check-in counters, security checkpoints, and even boarding announcements.

It is worth noting that GTA: San Andreas previously introduced a similar mechanic: you could depart from Los Santos and travel to other locations on the map, with the journey presented as a cinematic cut scene.

While you had the option to skip these sequences, it was precisely these minor details that made the overall gaming experience feel more immersive, allowing you to truly feel integrated into the virtual world while you played.

GTA 6 could certainly build upon these experiences by adding more airport- and aircraft-related gameplay elements, such as interacting with other passengers or even flight attendants inside the cabin, or engaging in various mini-games.

Of course, the game could certainly retain the one-click skip option; however, if these transitional sequences could be seamlessly integrated into the flow of the game, it would undoubtedly heighten the sense of immersion, and could even be developed into a social feature within the game world.

What might live events entail?

At present, the developers have not released many specific details regarding this new feature; however, the most likely scenario is that players will encounter some form of live-streamed entertainment content within the game.

This content could take the form of pre-recorded musical performances, much like a Super Bowl halftime show. Through prior collaborations with famous artists, their virtual avatars could take center stage in specific in-game events.

Additionally, live events could involve real-time sporting matches, allowing players to watch the games or place bets on the outcomes. Alternatively, special events could be scheduled based on specific days of the week or seasons, offering players opportunities to earn extra income.

Special ability upgrades

In GTA series, the protagonist of each installment possesses a unique special ability, typically related to driving or shooting. For instance, in GTA V, Franklin can slow down the flow of time to gain superior vehicle handling.

Based on the second trailer, it appears that the special ability of Jason, one of the protagonists in Grand Theft Auto 6, may involve slowing down time to reveal enemy weak points.

The other protagonist, Lucia, also appears capable of utilizing this ability, but seemingly for only a single shot. If this design choice proves accurate, it would be a rather poor implementation.

The developers' intention seems to be to highlight Jason's superior marksmanship, a logical choice, given his background in the military. However, this Dead Eye-style ability lacks originality in and of itself.

Perhaps, drawing upon Jason's military background, the developers could introduce abilities rooted in military tactics, while also incorporating mechanics that facilitate better tactical synergy with Lucia.

Furthermore, as GTA series' first female protagonist, Lucia is rumored to have ties to the world of hacking. If these rumors hold true, granting her abilities related to hacking technology would undoubtedly make for a fascinating gameplay experience.

The above represents our speculative wish-list regarding the as-yet-unrevealed content of GTA 6. We truly hope to see these ideas brought to life!
