Dreadmyst is an MMORPG released on January 9th. While most new MMOs focus on refining graphics and enriching gameplay, Dreadmyst has taken a completely opposite approach. Its graphics are very rudimentary, resembling Diablo 1.

This is because it's an indie game, developed by a single person, so you won't experience much content. You might reach the endgame in 9 to 25 hours. While the endgame content is currently limited, it's still quite enjoyable.

Since many players are still unfamiliar with the game's content, the following will explain how to enter the endgame and complete its various activities.

Dreadmyst Endgame Full Guide | This Primitive-Looking MMO Secretly Has Tough Content Around

Obtaining Barracks Key

The endgame journey begins in the game with Minotaur (Horned Chargers). You need to go to Merchant's Way waypoint, pass through Morgall's Camp, and you'll actually enter a huge dungeon.

In this area, you'll encounter Minotaur (Horned Chargers). These are crucial and must be killed. While nearby Drakes offer decent loot and experience, killing them is inefficient; unless you have a group, it's recommended to ignore them and focus on killing Minotaur.

Your core objective is to obtain Barracks Key, and this is the most important item. Starting around level 20, you should collect as many of these keys as possible, as they are key to obtaining top-tier loot and have a chance to drop from every Minotaur.

Note that this dungeon is actually divided into different areas: a large PvP Contested Area at the top of the map and a smaller PvE Area below. However, other players can also initiate PvP attacks on you in the PvE Area. For safe farming, go to the PVE Area, but the best farming spot is obviously in the PVP Area.

Abandoned Barracks

After obtaining Barracks Key, you will need to leave the dungeon and return through the portal to Morgall's Camp (be careful not to enter the camp itself, as it is impassable). To reach Abandoned Barracks, you might need to take a slight detour; roughly, go up first, then left.

If you see minotaurs again, you're on the right track. Continue along this path to reach the entrance to Abandoned Barracks.

Abandoned Barracks is the best place to get loot after level 25. You'll find that vendors only sell level 24 items, whose stats are far inferior to the level 25 items dropped in Abandoned Barracks. Therefore, don't waste Dreadmyst gold on useless items from shops. Ideally, you should get equipment directly from the barracks.

How to Conquer Abandoned Barracks?

Once inside the barracks, your goal is simple: clear out as many monsters as possible and open all chests and locked treasure chests, so it's highly recommended that you invest in Lockpicking as a skill. Failing to learn Lockpicking means missing out on nearly half the treasure chests in the dungeon each time, a huge loss.

In this fight, you need to prioritize killing the mages. If left unchecked, these mage monsters will pose a significant threat. If you are a slower DPS class, be sure to use all your abilities to kill the mages at the start of the fight.

After clearing the mobs, you will encounter the boss (Sarloch The Betrayer). Do not fight him inside the room; instead, lure him to the corridor. This is because the boss will cast a large fireball that can instantly kill you; you can easily avoid it by moving to the other side of a corner. Also, be sure to save your interrupt skills to interrupt the boss's healing.

It's best to familiarize yourself with how to deal with this boss in this dungeon beforehand, as this type of boss will frequently appear as regular mobs in another dungeon, and you will need to use the same method to defeat them.

Kandorys Undercourse

After defeating the barracks boss, you will always receive a pink item, Depleted Key. Next, you need to go to Kandoryrs' Beach and then proceed to Hillsfar Dale.

In Hillsfar Dale, you need to kill all the goblins there to obtain Dale Gem. After obtaining the gem, right-click to use it, which will combine Depleted Key into Kandorys Undercourse.

With this key, head to the deepest part of Hillsfar Dale. Here you'll find elite monsters, more difficult than those in previous dungeons. Defeat them, then use your Undercourse Key to unlock the second dungeon, Kandorys Undercourse.

How to Conquer Kandorys Undercourse?

Kandorys Undercourse is the true solo high-difficulty challenge. In this dungeon, you'll attract at least two monsters simultaneously, which cannot be handled them one by one, but there are strategies for each class. The basic strategy is to activate all cooldowns, pull both monsters, focus on killing one while controlling the other, and ensure you don't attract any additional monsters.

This dungeon combines all the challenges from before. You'll encounter mage monsters that require priority handling, as well as pre-boss-type monsters that require interrupting healing and dodging fireballs. You must master kiting. Skill and pre-casting are crucial. Insufficient preparation can easily lead to instant death.

Endgame Raids

Only after completing all the solo content and achieving basic gear progression are you qualified to challenge raids, which is the true endgame challenge.

The left side of Atmar's Fall (Dungeon) portal map. Once you arrive, you'll see some red-named Mobs. These monsters have high health and deal incredible damage; it's difficult to inflict effective damage on them solo. A four-person team is needed to take turns interrupting their key abilities to effectively kill them, which tests your teamwork.

While Dreadmyst's core gameplay still revolves around gear progression, it uses it in a very engaging way. It requires you to carefully complete the entire gear progression process and learn how to utilize its mechanics. This is quite different from those large-scale MMOs that are easy to complete. Although it's still very rudimentary now, it has great potential.
