CoD Black Ops 7 Zombies 2026 Leaks | DLC 2 Map, Alpha Omega Remake Rumors, New Perks And Weapons

Category: CoD: Black Ops 7 Posted: Jan 03, 2026 Views: 6163

A new year has begun, and CoD BO7 still has a lot of content to update. While it's unclear what changes will be made to other modes, information about Zombies mode has been leaked.

Let's take a look at everything known about Black Ops 7 Zombies mode in 2026 up to early 2026. This includes the full content of DLC 2, as well as the rumored DLC 3, new maps, and new Perk-a-Colas.

CoD Black Ops 7 Zombies 2026 Leaks | DLC 2 Map, Alpha Omega Remake Rumors, New Perks And Weapons

DLC 2

Starting with the most confirmed content, DLC 2. Currently, only Astra Malorum ending cinematic has been shown, where all the characters are dragged underground by zombies, plummeting into hell, foreshadowing the DLC 2 setting. However, an official image from DLC 2 was indeed embedded in this ending cinematic, though it was extremely blurry and difficult to discern.

Data miners successfully extracted the complete image, allowing players to get their first glimpse of the general layout of the DLC 2 map.

The visuals of DLC 2 are stunning, and it resembles Crumbling Farum Azula. Its main color scheme is a blend of red and gray, paired with a blue-gray sky. It also carries a hint of Revelations map from Zombies mode in Black Ops 3. But as hinted at in Astra Malorum ending, it looks like hell.

This might indicate that upcoming map will have a different narrative approach than previous ones; the player's main objective may no longer be to restore the souls of the two playable characters, but rather to try and escape this hellish landscape.

The only official details players have about this map come from Intel, discovered in Astra Malorum. Doctor Gideon Falkne mentions dreaming of a town in Dark Aether, shrouded in demonic clouds. While leaked information from data miners suggests it doesn't resemble a town, it might be the ruins of one.

CoD BO7 DLC 2 Leak map

Alpha Omega Map

The most controversial leak came from a source in late November. He claimed that multiple sources told him that Black Ops 7 Zombies mode would be a remake of Alpha Omega, one of five round-based maps, in the season following its release, and that Nuketown Zombies would be remade as a survival map, released alongside Alpha Omega remake.

This rumor received a poor reception within the community, with players generally expressing skepticism. However, the next DLC map could indeed be a remake of Alpha Omega. This is because, as previously mentioned, intelligence suggested it would be a small town, and Alpha Omega was based on Nuketown.

While it's too early to say for certainty that the next map is a remake of Alpha Omega, a musical Easter egg in Astra Malorum playing Alpha Omega's music could be seen as evidence.

But this could be a successor to Alpha Omega, rather than a complete adaptation. The community generally believes that the map has many gameplay flaws, including many unique but frustrating mechanics. Considered one of the worst zombie maps ever, the development team needs to make significant changes to reverse its reputation. This may require a complete overhaul of the map.

DLC 2 Release Date

Regarding the release date of DLC 2, it will likely launch alongside Season 2. According to the in-game timer, Season 2 will begin on February 5, 2026.

As for the launch date of the DLC 2 marketing campaign, it will most likely be January 15th, as that day is "115." Referring to last year's 115 Day, the development team released a unique blog post to celebrate, accidentally revealing the new map's name, logo, details, and release date.

Therefore, players will likely have to wait until then to get the first official details. However, Season 1 Reloaded will launch on January 8th, including a new survival map, Zarya Cosmodrome, new weapons, and likely a special limited-time mode, so you can enjoy the new zombie content very soon.

Other Leaked Content

New Map

In addition to the above, according to leaks from the player community, Martian region from Astra Malorum is likely the next survival map for Black Ops 7's Zombies mode. If this map is not officially included in Season 1 Reloaded, it will appear in Season 2.

New Weapons

Regarding new weapons, according to the leaker, at least one Zombies map will have at least two Wonder weapons, as the game code contains code related to "SAT" (Saturn), as well as the codes "sat_ww_mantis" and "sat_ww_mantis2". However, the specific weapons are currently unknown.

If the subsequent DLC map is indeed a remake of Alpha Omega, players may also see the return of Ray Gun, as well as elemental variants from Alpha Omega.

Perk-a-Colas

What we do know is that at least one Perk-a-Cola is almost confirmed to be added in Season 2: Widow's Wine. Players discovered a fully redesigned model of Widow's Wine Perk-a-Colas in the game files.

Other DLC

Recently, several map descriptions for Black Ops 7's Zombies mode were leaked by media outlets. Furthermore, some of these Zombies map concepts have since been cancelled, including one focusing on Germany's victory in World War II and its subsequent atomic bombing of New York City.

One leaked map description is apparently still in development. This map will be set at the foot of an erupting Japanese volcano, likely related to Takeo Masaki's storyline. Considering all the characters are being dragged into hell, it could also be a next DLC map. If not, it's likely to be DLC 3 or DLC 4.

What Can You Expect from Zombies Mode in 2026?

It was confirmed before the game's release that each Zombies map will have a full CGI opening cutscene. Ashes of the Damned and Astra Malorum have already demonstrated excellent CGI openings; hopefully, this promise will continue in all subsequent Zombies maps. Hopefully, the developers will add more details to Zombies mode, such as dialogue.

In addition, with the new Zombies map for 2026, there may also be four to six new relics available for each map. Therefore, we will have a large number of relics available to use in Cursed, as well as more Relics to hunt.

Finally, by the end of 2026, players might expect a Super Easter Egg for Black Ops 7's Zombies mode. Many players were disappointed that CoD BO6 didn't have a Super Easter Egg, and the official mention of a Super Easter Egg based on feedback suggests they have a surprise in mind.

That's all the leaked information about Zombies mode. Please be cautious of any leaks from the community beyond official confirmations, as they may not necessarily appear in the final game.

Zombies mode is one of the most exciting parts of CoD BO7, with its storyline and Easter eggs well worth exploring.
