BitCraft Online is a gigantic game. Although its graphics are somewhat rudimentary, resembling Human: Fall Flat, its content is incredibly rich.
You might not have heard of it because it hasn't been officially released yet. It recently had a major update, which may attract some new players. So how do players begin their adventure on this continent?

BitCraft Online Introduction
BitCraft Online is an open-world survival crafting MMORPG. Currently, the game is still in Early Access, but a recent update has brought it to Early Access 2. Simply put, the game world has been reset. Everything players built in the previous world has been wiped clean.
Players who participated in Early Access 1 can choose to start from level 1 or retain their current level and progress. However, since this is a relatively large update, starting from scratch with other players is a good option.
NPCs Leveling
Although this is a very free MMO, the NPCs here are not just useless decorations. It's recommended that you interact with the NPCs in the game as early as possible, as these NPCs can be leveled up.
You can level up NPCs by trading with them or completing their quests. It's advisable to level up the corresponding NPC to level 10 when you reach level 10 for a skill.
Otherwise, when you reach the mid-to-late game and are dealing with Tier 2 and Tier 3 resources, the NPCs might still be requesting basic Tier 1 materials, forcing you to go back and collect lower-level materials to upgrade them.
You don't need to stand next to an NPC to see their quest requirements. You can open the game interface at any time, find Traveler Tasks, and browse the list of all NPCs' needs. This way, you can bring all the necessary items from your inventory at once and deliver them to each NPC individually, significantly improving efficiency.
Settlement
New players are advised to join a player-created settlement as early as possible. Of course, if you prefer playing solo, that's perfectly fine too. However, for most people, joining a settlement, or even a larger empire, early on allows for much faster access to shared resources.
If you urgently need a certain resource, contacting other players will quickly get you help. Compared to working alone, your development will be much faster in a good settlement.
However, be mindful when choosing a settlement. Some settlements require members to meet certain time limits and make contributions. If you don't like this approach, find one that suits your playstyle and check its requirements before making a decision.
Professions
Professions are the core of the game. You can train them to improve your game progress and refine your settlement.
Professions are mainly divided into gathering and crafting classes, and many professions complement each other, such as mining and blacksmithing, or forestry and woodworking. In the early game, you might be able to try all professions, but later on, the difficulty of training classes increases dramatically. It's best to choose one or two complementary professions to train.
Every crafting profession is equally important; the items you produce are essential raw materials for many professions.
Skills represent your character's growth. Upgrading your skill level provides permanent buffs, making your gameplay easier. These allow you to unlock larger carts, sail larger and better ships, and tame mounts and pets. Skills are primarily improved through related activities, but the most efficient way is by completing Traveler Tasks.
Find the NPC who gives out tasks in your starting town and click the button in the lower right corner to view them. These small tasks refresh every 4 hours and are the best source of BitCraft Online Hex coins, experience, and resources in the early game. Note that quest items don't necessarily need to be crafted; you can also obtain them through direct trade.
Equipment
Be sure to wear clothing that provides the appropriate buffs based on your current activity. Different clothing has different effects; some provide more stamina, while others increase your crafting and building speed.
Leather equipment, for example, can increase your gathering speed, movement speed, and even grant you evasion. If you want to explore farther areas while avoiding enemy attacks and gathering resources as quickly as possible, then wearing leather armor is the best choice.
The difference made by wearing the right equipment is very noticeable; you'll almost feel the difference when crafting items. While the time saved may seem small at first glance, the total time saved becomes considerable when you start handling large orders.
Compendium
Compendium is very useful, especially when you're in a settlement or looking for a specific resource at the market. You can find this item in Copendium and then click Track.
Next, open your map. As long as you're in the corresponding area, the map will mark all locations of that resource. The closer you are, the more accurate the markings become. This can effectively help you find rare ore veins.
One thing to note is that some resources (such as ores) may be divided into large veins and ordinary veins. You can track both and compare them on the map to see which is closer before deciding which direction to go.
BitCraft Online has announced its spring and summer update plans, with the official team adding new features such as a merchant gameplay mode and more detailed Settlement options. These are all expansions of the existing framework, and the above suggestions for beginners still apply.
