ARC Raiders Patch 1.19.0 Brings Compensation and New Cosmetics | Response to Your Lost Loot from Last Week!

Just one week after the release of Patch 1.18.0, ARC Raiders launched yet another update, Patch 1.19.0, on March 10th! Staying up to date with its contents will help you make the most of your continued gameplay experience.
The significance of Patch 1.19.0 lies in the fact that, in addition to bug fixes, it introduces new cosmetic items and offers an official response regarding the losses players experienced over the past week. Read on for the full details.

What are the new cosmetics?
In a post-apocalyptic shooter like ARC Raiders, character cosmetics are typically designed to be understated rather than flashy in order to remain consistent with the game's lore and setting; however, getting new gear is always something to celebrate!
With that in mind, Patch 1.19.0 introduces Devotee Outfit Set along with two new haircuts, all of which can be found in the in-game store.
Devotee Outfit Set needs 1,500 raider tokens to acquire in its entirety, though you also have the option to get individual pieces you prefer. If you have to pick just one item, we highly recommend the eye accessory, it looks incredibly stylish and needs 400 tokens.
As for the outfit skin itself, the design feels a bit peculiar. While you are free to choose from three different color schemes, the dangling fringe decorations look rather awkward. Fortunately, you have the option to remove the fringe entirely.
Alternatively, if you prefer, you can keep the fringe attached to the chest piece; after all, the dynamic physics of the swaying fringe are actually quite impressive, making it worth the time to experiment and find a better way to incorporate it into your look.
You could also choose to remove the mask while keeping the bundle of wires, which looks somewhat odd in its own right, dangling behind your head, thereby creating a ninja-esque aesthetic.
Of course, you also have the option to strip away all decorations entirely, leaving only the basic gear appearance. If you wish, you can even choose to remove just the scarf while keeping the mask, as the scarf is a bulky, standalone accessory piece.
As for the two new hairstyles, one is a curly mullet, and the other is a full beard; both require 500 Tokens to unlock, and you can customize their colors using universal hair color shades.
However, while beards technically fall under the hairstyle category, the visual impact they have on a character's face appears to be significantly less substantial than that of actual hair, perhaps their token needs should have been set a little lower to reflect that difference.
It is worth noting that last week, when developers were asked when the next skin and raider token bundle set would go live, they replied, Next week. However, Patch 1.19.0 did not bring the full scope of that content.
Compensation for players
If you have been playing ARC Raiders for at least the past week, you likely noticed that the game's servers have been highly unstable during this period, so much so that additional hotfixes were released between major patches to address the situation.
These issues sometimes caused players to lose a portion of their loot during farming runs due to disconnections or other disruptions, resulting in material losses.
Typically, if the scope and severity of an issue are minor, players are expected to simply bear the consequences themselves.
However, the negative impact of this particular incident was significant; consequently, the developers have stated that they will conduct a review and issue compensation within the coming days.
In fact, the timing of this server instability was particularly unfortunate, coinciding exactly with the launch of Expedition 3, a time when every piece of loot is precious.
As a result, a failure to provide comprehensive compensation would likely have sparked significant dissatisfaction among the player base.
Nevertheless, even after receiving your compensation, if you still feel that your current materials are insufficient to help you progress more quickly, it would be prudent to immediately buy ARC Raiders blueprints. This will allow you to craft more powerful weapons and successfully complete a greater number of raids.
Fixes for additional bugs
Generally speaking, aside from the release of official content updates, bug fixes constitute the primary focus of routine patches. Patch 1.19.0 introduced a total of nine specific fixes:
- Fixed an issue where items in the inventory would display incorrectly when selecting attachments or mods.
- Fixed an issue where a single item would sometimes appear multiple times within the sell or scrap confirmation windows.
- Fixed an issue where a player's coin balance might display incorrectly after selling items.
- Fixed an exploit where players could place Snap Hook into their Secure Pocket by pressing Tab key while using the device.
- Fixed an issue where both players and ARC bots could get stuck near the auditorium entrance on Stella Montis map.
- Fixed an issue where a single Comet enemy would sometimes trigger two simultaneous interaction prompts.
- Fixed a zipline-related exploit on Blue Gate map.
- Fixed an issue on Dam Battlegrounds map where, during Cold Snap map condition, certain bodies of water failed to freeze over.
- Fixed an issue during Electromagnetic Storm events where lightning strikes would occasionally occur with excessive frequency.
During Expedition missions, an inaccurate display of one's coin balance can be a source of significant frustration.
Furthermore, the specific fix applied to Snap Hook clearly demonstrates the development team's firm resolve to prevent players from placing this item into their secure pocket for safekeeping.
Although Patch 1.18.0 featured fewer fixes, most of them directly impacted your core gameplay experience; in contrast, Patch 1.19.0 focused more on addressing minor issues.
While minor issues certainly shouldn't be overlooked, you likely have higher expectations for these weekly routine patches, specifically, the hope that the game will undergo more adjustments regarding balance.
In fact, the developers mentioned plans to adjust Il Toro several weeks ago, yet to date, we have yet to see any of those changes actually implemented.
Typically, players rarely take the initiative to request that a specific weapon be nerfed; however, this time around, the community is vocally demanding that the developers fix and nerf Il Toro, a clear indication that it is indeed having a significant impact on the game's overall balance.
All in all, aside from the regular monthly updates, there hasn't been much new activity in ARC Raiders recently. Some speculate that this is intended to give you time to try out its competitor, Marathon, only for you to ultimately discover that ARC Raiders remains the superior choice!
That wraps up everything we have to share with you today. We hope ARC Raiders continues to maintain its strong standing and delivers even more exciting updates and events in the future!
