ARC Raiders Accidental Leaks Flashpoints and Riven Tides Content | Reveal New Rollerbot Enemies and Secret Coastal Map

Category: ARC Raiders Posted: Mar 09, 2026 Views: 1824

Time flies! March is already over a week in, meaning ARC Raiders Shrouded Sky update has been live for two weeks. While you might not be tired of it yet, anticipation for a new update is almost inevitable!

Based on Escalation plan from the beginning of the year and the update release intervals for January and February, Flashpoints and Riven Tides updates are expected to be released at the end of March and April, respectively.

Previously, aside from Escalation promotional image, almost no other new content about these two updates was revealed, but last week, the game's staff seemed to have "accidentally" leaked some information.

Below, we'll introduce the leaked content and further speculate on more possibilities for Flashpoints and Riven Tides.

Release date speculation

The last two updates were both scheduled for the last Tuesday of each month, February 24th and January 27th, 28 days apart.

If this pattern continues, Flashpoints might be released on March 24th, but the last Tuesday of March is actually the 31st, so the update cycle might not perfectly align.

As for Riven Tides, the promotional image indicates it includes a new Expedition window, and Expedition 3 launch date is supposed to be April 29th, with the 28th being a Tuesday.

These are just our speculations based on existing updates, and the final release may change due to holidays and other reasons.

Furthermore, while Escalation plans are released in alternating large and small increments, smaller updates, such as Headwinds, could also bring surprises.

March Update: Flashpoints

Escalation plan lists this update as bringing new map conditions, ARC enemies, player projects, and a Scrappy update.

Overall, compared to Shrouded Sky, Flashpoints has less content, roughly somewhere between Shrouded Sky and Headwinds. The new map conditions teaser uses the same lightning bolt icon as Electromagnetic Storm, suggesting potential similarities between the two.

As for the project, it's likely similar to a trophy display, a relatively simple gameplay mechanic, as February Weather Monitor System content is more extensive and needs to be scheduled separately.

Recent leaks have primarily concerned the new ARC. However, Shrouded Sky's ARC teaser icon is the same as Flashpoint's, so relying on this to speculate further is unreliable.

The good news is that ARC Raiders' art director left some concept art on ArtStation page, some of which seem to point to a new ARC threat, or at least one of them.

In the concept art, the designer calls this ARC Rollerbot. It resembles a fireball, can unfold into a turret, or at least has a turret-like structure on the left, while the right side looks like some kind of camera sensor.

Another bot that can be guessed from the concept art is named Hammer, which looks somewhat like the recently released Firefly, or the common flying drone enemy Hornet. Its turret structure is slightly different, and its firing method looks somewhat like a sniper rifle.

Hammer turret will lower and deploy instead of remaining deployed indefinitely. This means it might be able to envelop itself, thus avoiding attack or at least better protecting the turret itself.

While there's no guarantee they'll appear in Flashpoints, it's certain the new ARC will require new strategies to counter them. Getting ARC Raiders blueprints for sale in advance to craft powerful guns or grenades is always a good idea.

April Update: Riven Tides

This update will bring a new map condition and a completely new full map. Judging from the name and background image, the map will probably be a beach.

Leaked concept art related to the scene shows an overview of the coastline, some architectural details, the environment, battlefield layout, a development preview, and even a screenshot that might showcase the new map.

Based on this, the map condition brought by this update may also be related to water. Interestingly, as early as the end of last year, some players speculated, by modifying the time settings, that an event called Toxic Swamp might be coming.

Although this theory hasn't materialized, there were indeed some previews of missions related to the swamp at the time, so you might expect Riven Tides to implement it.

Furthermore, Riven Tides will add a large ARC enemy, which is likely related to the upcoming new chapter, as large ARCs, unlike regular bots, often represent more unique encounters or backstory.

In fact, you might have recently seen a UFO-like enemy in Spaceport and Buried City maps, its shadow sometimes faintly visible in the distant sky. The chances of encountering this are even higher after entering Hurricane map event.

If you match their flight direction across each map, you'll find they all fly from northwest to southeast, eventually reaching the coastline. Coincidentally, this looks very similar to leaked concept art that may be part of the new Riven Tides map.

Other notable changes

While the Scrappy update belongs to Flashpoints, Shrouded Sky has actually changed the way items are redeemed from Scrappy: it no longer automatically redirects to the redemption screen; you need to click manually.

In addition, the user interface has also changed. While it may seem a bit random, even redundant, the developers are perhaps preparing for the release of Flashpoints. More user interface space will allow for better display of dismantled items at different levels.

Besides what's listed in the promotional materials, each update will actually include fixed hidden default content, such as new quests, achievements and trials, items, cosmetics, and various gameplay optimizations.

These are our speculations for March and April 2026 update plans for ARC Raiders, but the actual content will depend on the official announcement. We expect the game to further announce its update plans for the second half of the year later, so let's wait and see!
