ARC Raiders Expedition Reset Guide: How To Recover Quickly After The Expedition?
Category: ARC Raiders Posted: Dec 23, 2025 Views: 4954
After a brief delay, the long-awaited ARC Raiders Expedition has finally begun. You'll set off in your self-built convoy, starting your journey anew with certain buffs and advantages. Yes, one of the keywords of Expedition mode is "reset."
This event is essentially a character progression reset system that wipes all player progress and grants permanent rewards. Regular resets are commonplace in many extraction shooter games; they essentially reset all players' levels to level one and remove most of their loot, forcing them to start from scratch to maintain in-game balance.
However, the biggest drawback of regular resets is that they punish casual players. Imagine, you're just trying to relax with a game during your limited free time, finally making some progress, only to be forced to start over again and again, experiencing the early stages of the game repeatedly. This can be incredibly frustrating.
The existence of Expedition mode is ARC Raiders' biggest effort to change this situation. You can choose whether or not to participate to decide whether to reset your game. In other words, players who aren't ready can simply choose not to participate.
To encourage player participation, the developers have added some rewards, such as extra storage space, skill points, and cosmetics, which will be retained after Expedition ends.
Nevertheless, when you first log in after Expedition, you'll still face the predicament of being penniless. Your inventory will be empty, your accumulated blueprints will be gone, and you'll only have the initial Workbench available.
But don't worry, because we'll provide a detailed plan to help you recover quickly after Expedition, rebuild your Workshops correctly, and not waste your expedition advantages.

What Parts Will Be Reset?
Before officially starting, the first thing you need to do is understand what content will be reset to avoid being misled by incorrect advice and wasting time.
When you restart, all progress-related content will be reset, including your level, skill tree, stash, workshops, crafting abilities, and blueprints. However, some account-wide items will be retained, such as cosmetic items, Cred, and Raider Decks progress. In addition, you'll start your expedition with several advantages, some permanent and some temporary.
Permanent unlocks include extra skill points, up to five based on the value of your stash and coins at the start; 12 extra stash slots; and some cosmetic rewards, such as The Patchwork Raider outfit, Scrappy Janitor Cap, and Expeditions Indicator icon.
Temporary advantages mainly include a 10% repair buff, a 5% extra XP bonus, and 6% extra materials from Scrappy. These buffs only remain active if you continue participating in subsequent expedition missions. This means that if you decide to skip the next expedition, these buffs will disappear.
Allocating Skill Points
Next, before undertaking any raids, there's one thing you need to do: immediately use your bonus skill points.
Besides the five skill points mentioned above, plus one skill point from the level one reward, we actually start with six skill points. We allocate these skill points as follows:
- Agile Croucher
- Revitalizing Squat
- In-Round Crafting
- Nimble Climber
- Marathon Runner
- Youthful Lungs
The good thing about the skill tree now is that you don't have to worry about allocating points incorrectly. Since the December update, they've added a skill tree reset function, costing only 2000 ARC Raiders coins per reset. So if you want to reset your skill tree later, you still have the opportunity to do so.
Raiding
Now, let's talk about how to run raids after the reset to recover quickly.
The key here is to rebuild your economy with a calm mindset. Simply put, in the first few raids after the reset, you should only use basic equipment, choose short routes, extract quickly, and hoard crafting materials and sellable items.
Sellable items here mainly refer to trinkets, such as Very Comfortable Pillows, Red Coral Jewelry, Faded Photograph, etc. You need to hoard these and sell them immediately, as they are not very useful in the early game.
You can think of this as a quick start after the reset. This isn't to help you win the entire game in one go, but to establish a stable cycle.
More importantly, since Cold Snap event is currently underway, the loot drops are very generous. Even more importantly, they have increased the drop rate of ARC Raiders blueprints. Therefore, our suggestion is to use free equipment in the first few raids to farm loot until you're overloaded, and then head to the extraction point.
How To Rebuild The Workshop?
Now, let's talk about how to rebuild the workshop in the correct order.
Before rebuilding, you must understand one thing: you need to prioritize efficiency when deciding the order of rebuilding your workshop, not value. This is where many players make the most mistakes.
Because many players want to immediately craft powerful weapons like grenades to bombard the battlefield after a reset, but in reality, we only need to use free weapons during the first few raids. Therefore, workshops like Gunsmith and Explosives Station are not very useful in the early stages after a reset.
In contrast, I think you should prioritize rebuilding Refiner Station, as it will provide us with some of the most commonly used items, creating a positive cycle for our subsequent rebuilding. Then you can go to Gear Bench, then Medical Lab, and so on.
Obtaining Free Mk. 1 Weapons
The reason we use free weapons to start the initial raid missions is not only to prepare for economic recovery, but there's also a little-known secret benefit.
If you complete an extraction with the Free Loadout Augment and return, you can go to Lance at the clinic and exchange these items for any Combat Mk. 1 weapon.

Don't Immediately Focus On Farming Blueprints
Next, let's talk about a truly morale-crushing issue: your blueprints. Only players who have truly experienced the pain of losing all their hard-earned blueprints after a reset can understand this. But since Cold Snap update, this doesn't seem like such a big deal anymore, because the blueprint drop rate has significantly increased.
Therefore, I do have a suggestion for you: don't focus on farming blueprints at the beginning, because you'll have plenty of opportunities to find them later. As we said before, you should first focus on obtaining crafting materials, upgrading your workshop, and then farming blueprints.
If you really want to find those rare blueprints immediately to expand your arsenal for future raids, allowing you to craft better items and tackle more challenging tasks, then you can buy cheap ARC Raiders blueprints on IGGM. This will not only save you valuable time but also directly improve your game progress and combat power. More importantly, coinciding with Christmas, we've launched a special holiday promotion! You can enjoy 10% off when buying ARC Raiders in-game items using the code XMAS! Try it out before the event ends!
Quick Looting And Extractions
Getting back to the point, until you can perfect your gear, Cold Snap and Night Raids will be your main farming strategies, helping you quickly and easily acquire crafting materials, find trinkets, and earn money.
However, make sure you get in and out quickly, don't stay too long, and don't engage in PvP too early. Because your gear isn't as good as before, your stamina is significantly reduced, and your movement speed is slower. So, stick to quick and simple raids.
In short, the expedition reset is a process of starting from scratch, and this takes time. The biggest mistake most players make in this situation is trying to quickly return to their previous state. Therefore, they craft the wrong items, upgrade the wrong workshops, and focus on the wrong things. Don't be one of those people, otherwise your reset will be meaningless.
Instead, make sure you build a stable gear system and slowly regain your former glory using the experience you've accumulated. Also, one of the most exciting things we think is the stacking of expedition advantages. As we open more future expedition windows, the advantages will continue to accumulate.
