ARC Raiders Shrouded Sky First Wave Cache Farming Guide | How to Loot Advanced Blueprints with Naked Loadout?
Category: ARC Raiders Posted: Mar 03, 2026 Views: 1072
After Shrouded Sky update, raging strong winds may make your living environment more harsh, but it is not completely without benefits, because the new Hurricane map condition brings a double bonus to the value of dropped items, which means that high-quality items can be found even in less popular locations.
What's more important is that during the activation of Hurricane event, First Wave Caches, also called Hurricane Caches, will be randomly refreshed on the map. These caches often drop high-end weapons and purple quality blueprints, making them the best place to plunder high-value loot in the near future! If you have high-quality weapons and mods, you can easily get loot worth a whopping 500,000 coins in just one hour of farming.
Here, we're here to share with you our best tips for efficiently farming these Hurricane Caches in ARC Raiders to help you maximize your profits. Without further ado, let's take a look!

How to find First Wave Caches?
Search raider cache markers
First of all, currently in ARC Raiders, all maps except Stella Montis map will randomly generate First Wave Caches during Hurricane map condition.
These caches are generated in the same location as ordinary raider caches, but they are very rare. You will only find a First Wave Cache in about every 5-10 raider cache markers. What's more important is that the markers on the map are just potential cache refresh locations, so don't expect to find treasure chests at every marked point, but you can use these markers to roughly view the refresh area.
Listen!
In addition, these caches are scattered all over the map. If you want to locate these Hurricane Caches faster, there is another good way, and that is to listen to the sound and locate them! Yes, these special caches are different from the ticking and whining sounds of regular raider caches; they emit an electronic beeping sound. It is recommended that you use headphones for the best audio detection effect and to follow the sound to quickly find the supply box.
This method of audio detection is much more efficient than just exploring every raider cache marker on the map. Because sound travels quite a distance, you don't need to manually check the marks to accurately identify First Wave Caches!
If you want to increase your chances of finding these chests, turn on Night Mode in your audio settings. This way, even if Hurricane event is noisy, you can still hear the rhythmic hum of the treasure chest. There's a certain pattern to it, so you eventually get used to hearing it. If you think you hear something, stop and listen carefully. If the sound keeps repeating, it's Hurricane Caches.
Farming strategies
Now that everyone has started farming these First Wave Caches, what can we do to maximize our profits?
Naked Loadout
First of all, please note that to minimize the risk of looting during Hurricane event and come back with the loot, you only need to empty naked loadout.
This strategy is to enter the game with only Adrenaline Shots, without any Augments or weapons. If you find some very valuable ARC Raiders blueprints, you can simply put it in your Safe Pocket.
In addition, these First Wave Caches will also refresh advanced weapons. We've found a Renegade IV and an Anvil IV here before, and we even got a Tempest IV in one of the chests, so you don't have to worry about not having weapons to help you get out safely.
Surrender directly
But in fact, this is a misunderstanding. You don't have to work hard to evacuate. You can press ESC to surrender. For example, suppose you just entered the battlefield, heard the sound of caches nearby, and found a bunch of loot. Then don't think about breaking out of the encirclement and evacuating, because now everyone is farming for treasures, and they will be robbed quickly. So you can surrender directly and Safe Pocket can completely protect your loot.
Especially if you find some high-value blueprints, this can often allow you to get away without losing anything. If you respawn into an old raid, all the treasure chests may have been looted, so you can just surrender and start over.
Watch the wind direction
Another tip is to watch the wind direction immediately after respawning and plan the route in your mind. You need to go to the cache refresh point, but avoid going against the wind as much as possible. So whenever possible, you should choose a route that goes downwind or diagonally, rather than against the wind. Because going against the wind will take too long, and other players will get to the treasure chest first.
Please note that we can't tell you exactly which First Wave Caches farming route is the best here, as you will find that as players start farming caches in large numbers, few routes are 100% effective. The best way is to find the latest cache generation point on the map and rush there quickly.
Of course, if you still haven't found the blueprint you need, don't hesitate to start looking for the next best spot from there. If you spend a long time planning a route, even if you just entered a brand new raid, by the time you are halfway through the route, other players on the other side of the map may have opened some caches. So, all you need to do is do as many raids as possible and eventually find what you want.
Solo vs. Squads
Another option is to enter Solo vs. Squads matchmaking lobby. Usually, other players are busy fighting at this stage, and you can quickly find a lot of unopened caches. Your competitive pressure will be much lower.
Cache rewards
For rewards, First Wave Caches usually steadily drops usually rare and expensive high-level healing items, purple-quality weapons, and some mods and components. Of course, the most important thing is some high-level blueprint drops, including Tempest, Bobcat, Vulcano Blueprints, and more.
Usually, about 60% of caches contain blueprints, especially Tempest blueprint in about half of them. But this is for reference only, because each farming situation is different, some have purple blueprints, and some are just ordinary weapons. However, after farming a few times, you will have more blueprints than you actually need. You can use it immediately, or you can sell it after accumulating a certain amount, which is worth a lot of money.
The player community has been calling for improvements to how blueprints are obtained, considering that every Expedition resets all blueprints. Perhaps this approach by the studio is to encourage more players to reset their characters and give them more ways to obtain these rare blueprints. Regardless, if you're still looking for those rare blueprints, now is a great time to farm. So, seize the opportunity to enter Hurricane event, search caches, and win massive loot!
