Forza Horizon 6 Accounts

At 2026 Gamescom Xbox Showcase, Forza Horizon 6 made an appearance, but it did not bring players much new information about September and October updates.

Let's go through all the information revealed during the official showcase, while also adding other details that the development team gradually shared on the official forums overnight, including information about PS5 version, expansions, and map expansions.

Drift Attack Mode

Drift Attack mode had been heavily hinted at before Gamescom, so players expected it and weren't surprised.

The mode will introduce several special areas that work somewhat like the existing Time Attack mode. The difference is that the goal is no longer to complete a lap as quickly as possible to achieve a high ranking, but instead to earn the highest possible score through drifting.

This is somewhat similar to the gameplay of Drift Zones, but the key difference is that players can make multiple attempts over several laps and continuously improve their drift scores.

In addition, light blue zones will appear on the ground; if a player drives along a blue zone, their drift score will be doubled.

One major difference with this mode is that players' scores will only be compared with those of other players using vehicles from the same class. This is completely different from Drift Zones, where scores from all performance levels are mixed together.

Although only one Drift Attack track is currently available, more Drift Attack areas will gradually be added in future updates, including both permanent additions and limited-time locations.

Jaguar XJ-S Forza Edition

During the official gameplay demonstration, Jaguar XJ-S Forza Edition was also shown performing in Drift Attack Mode. The car appears to be extremely powerful when it comes to drifting.

Even with TCR enabled, the developer was still able to perform wide drifts and achieve extremely high scores, despite TCR being an assist designed to reduce excessive vehicle drifting.

The car will be available as a seasonal reward. Players will need to complete all the new Log Book Challenges related to Drift Attack Mode after Series 5 goes live on September 7 in order to unlock it.

Unlike Time Attack and Drag Race Mode, these challenges are not divided by performance class, but by vehicle type. Players will need to complete one challenge each using around ten different vehicle types, including muscle cars, sedans, supercars, SUVs, and others.

IP Collaborations

LEGO

Forza Horizon 6 has entered into a new collaboration with LEGO. This partnership is limited to vehicles.

The development team has given existing FH6 cars LEGO-inspired appearances. The models receiving LEGO liveries this time are 2019 Ferrari 488 Pista and 2016 Dodge Viper.

7-Eleven

Another collaboration is with 7-Eleven. The development team did not reveal much about it at Gamescom, but the interesting part is that this collaboration was actually proposed by community players.

On Forza Feedback Portal, 7-Eleven ranked fifth among the ideas receiving player votes for future updates, ahead of Red Bull and James Bond.

For some players, this collaboration may seem somewhat unexpected, but 7-Eleven is a household name for players in the United States and Japan.

In fact, the brand is not far removed from car culture. 7-Eleven is often associated with the tuning world and car meetups, and the company, which combines convenience stores with gas stations, has indeed featured modified show cars decorated with official 7-Eleven liveries. As a result, this collaboration is far less out of place than it might initially seem.

Although the full details of the collaboration have not yet been revealed, some 7-Eleven-themed items are known to be coming to Event Club. These will most likely be decorative items featuring 7-Eleven branding that can be used for map customization.

In addition, a new 7-Eleven gas station is highly likely to appear in the southern part of the map, potentially on a vacant site where a gas station is currently under construction. The parking lot may also become a temporary or permanent gathering spot, allowing players to organize car meets with their friends.

Even though it was not mentioned during the showcase, this collaboration will indeed include a new unlockable vehicle, 2020 Toyota GR Supra 7-Eleven Edition.

7-Eleven collaboration is also currently limited to the United States and Canada. This is largely consistent with how collaborations in Forza series have worked in the past.

Players will need to visit participating 7-Eleven stores and obtain a qualifying item, with a redemption code included on the receipt. The code can then be entered through Xbox app to receive the special Toyota Supra edition.

For players in regions that cannot participate, the only possible option may be to obtain redemption codes offered online later, although these codes can become quite valuable.

During Forza Horizon 5 era, redemption codes for similar collaborations, such as OPI Edition vehicle, reached more than €150 later on. Therefore, if you manage to obtain 2020 Toyota GR Supra 7-Eleven Edition, remember not to part with it too easily.

Expansion and PS5 Version

The development team also provided some additional information about expansions and PS5 version, although the news was not particularly exciting and largely consisted of routine updates.

The development team stated that its release schedule will follow a pattern similar to Forza Horizon 5, meaning the first expansion could arrive around Christmas 2026 or in early 2027.

Although there had been rumors that the new head of Xbox might cancel the plan, the development team confirmed that PS5 version is still planned and is expected to launch sometime in 2026, although an exact date has not yet been determined. The official team stated that there is currently no further information to share and that more details will be announced as the release approaches.

The content revealed for Forza Horizon 6 at Gamescom 2026 was not particularly exciting, and players are more interested in seeing information about expansions. Perhaps the official team will choose to reveal more at Tokyo Game Show in late September.

Every Series in Forza Horizon 6 lasts four weeks, with each week representing a season. Each Series revolves around a clear theme, and that theme is not limited to Japan. For example, Series 3 focused on Italian cars.

The theme of Forza Horizon 6 Series 5 has also been revealed: British Automotive. Therefore, Series 5 will very likely bring British cars ranging from classic models to modern performance cars. Let's predict which cars could appear.

Series 5 Release Date

Based on the monthly cycle, Series 5 is expected to launch on Thursday, September 10, 2026. Meanwhile, Gamescom 2026 will take place from August 26 to 30. The official team has confirmed that Forza Horizon 6 will appear at the event, where it will reveal the details of Series 5, including the new Drift Attack game mode and new brand collaborations.

What Cars Could Appear?

Forza Horizon 6 Series 5 is undoubtedly worth looking forward to. The developer of Forza Horizon series is itself based in Leamington Spa, UK, so it would make perfect sense for the team to introduce some great British cars.

2024 McLaren W1

McLaren W1 is McLaren Automotive's flagship road-going supercar, unveiled in October 2024, to succeed McLaren P1 as the brand's flagship model.

McLaren W1 uses a hybrid system consisting of a 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 engine and an electric motor, and is rear-wheel drive. Combined output reaches approximately 1,275 PS, 0–100 km/h in about 2.7 seconds, and the top speed is limited to 350 km/h.

It's one of the most important modern British supercars currently available, and it's a completely new model. While the current McLaren lineup includes 765LT and Sabre, it lacks W1, the brand's latest flagship, which is likely to debut in FH6 Series 5.

2026 Aston Martin Valhalla

2026 Aston Martin Valhalla is a mid-engined hybrid supercar and an important model in Aston Martin's expansion from traditional front-engined GTs into the mid-engined supercar segment.

The production version uses a 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 combined with three electric motors, producing around 1,079 PS and featuring all-wheel drive. Its positioning places it roughly between traditional Aston Martin road cars and Valkyrie.

This brand-new 2026 luxury sports car has not yet been included, but if it appears in FH6, it would certainly be a pleasant surprise.

Aston Martin One-77

Aston Martin One-77 is a limited-production flagship supercar introduced by Aston Martin in 2009, with only 77 units produced.

It uses a naturally aspirated 7.3L V12 producing around 760 hp, making it one of Aston Martin's most powerful naturally aspirated road cars at the time.

Aston Martin One-77 previously appeared in FH5 Series 13, and the player community has continued to hope for its return in FH6.

2017 Bentley Continental Supersports

The first-generation Continental Supersports was introduced in 2009 as the extreme-performance version of Bentley Continental GT family.

The second-generation Continental Supersports from 2017 was even more impressive. It features all-wheel drive and a 6.0L W12 producing around 710 bhp. At the time, it was regarded as one of Bentley's fastest production cars.

It appeared in Forza Horizon 3, 4, and 5, but has not yet been released in FH6. As a classic British performance car, it would be a particularly fitting choice for this theme.

Morgan Plus Four / Plus Six

Morgan is a highly distinctive British car manufacturer known for traditional hand-built construction and retro styling. The modern Plus Four still retains a very traditional appearance, but its chassis has been modernized with an aluminum platform.

Morgan Plus Four uses a BMW 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine, while the Plus Six uses a BMW 3.0L inline-six.

If the official team does not want to fill the series with supercars, adding a Morgan Plus model would be one of the best choices. It combines traditional styling with equally impressive modern performance.

Caterham Seven 420R

Caterham Seven is one of the cars that best represents British lightweight sports car philosophy. Caterham vehicles have already appeared in Forza Motorsport 5 and Forza Motorsport 6: Apex.

The history of Caterham Seven can be traced back to Lotus Seven. After Lotus stopped producing the model, Caterham obtained the rights to continue manufacturing this iconic car.

Seven 420R is a high-performance version with an extremely low weight and a 2.0L Ford Duratec engine producing around 210 hp.

On mountain roads, through corners, and on technical circuits, the lightweight Seven could give players a driving experience completely different from that of a McLaren or Aston Martin.

McMurtry Spéirling

McMurtry Spéirling is an ultra-lightweight electric race car developed by British manufacturer McMurtry Automotive.

It set a new hill climb record of 39.08 seconds at 2022 Goodwood Festival of Speed Hillclimb.

It uses fans to generate enormous ground suction, allowing it to produce extremely strong downforce even at low speeds in theory.

Standing out from the crowd of oddly shaped Forza Horizon 6 cars, McMurtry Spéirling is unique. Even though its overall performance is relatively poor, it still has considerable collectible value.

Those are some predictions for British cars that could appear in Forza Horizon 6 Series 5. However, the official team may also choose not to add new models and instead bring back British cars that previously appeared in FH4 or FH5 but are currently missing from FH6.
