Forza Horizon 6 Accounts

Every Series in Forza Horizon 6 lasts four weeks, with each week representing a season. Each Series revolves around a clear theme, and that theme is not limited to Japan. For example, Series 3 focused on Italian cars.

The theme of Forza Horizon 6 Series 5 has also been revealed: British Automotive. Therefore, Series 5 will very likely bring British cars ranging from classic models to modern performance cars. Let's predict which cars could appear.

Series 5 Release Date

Based on the monthly cycle, Series 5 is expected to launch on Thursday, September 10, 2026. Meanwhile, Gamescom 2026 will take place from August 26 to 30. The official team has confirmed that Forza Horizon 6 will appear at the event, where it will reveal the details of Series 5, including the new Drift Attack game mode and new brand collaborations.

What Cars Could Appear?

Forza Horizon 6 Series 5 is undoubtedly worth looking forward to. The developer of Forza Horizon series is itself based in Leamington Spa, UK, so it would make perfect sense for the team to introduce some great British cars.

2024 McLaren W1

McLaren W1 is McLaren Automotive's flagship road-going supercar, unveiled in October 2024, to succeed McLaren P1 as the brand's flagship model.

McLaren W1 uses a hybrid system consisting of a 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 engine and an electric motor, and is rear-wheel drive. Combined output reaches approximately 1,275 PS, 0–100 km/h in about 2.7 seconds, and the top speed is limited to 350 km/h.

It's one of the most important modern British supercars currently available, and it's a completely new model. While the current McLaren lineup includes 765LT and Sabre, it lacks W1, the brand's latest flagship, which is likely to debut in FH6 Series 5.

2026 Aston Martin Valhalla

2026 Aston Martin Valhalla is a mid-engined hybrid supercar and an important model in Aston Martin's expansion from traditional front-engined GTs into the mid-engined supercar segment.

The production version uses a 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 combined with three electric motors, producing around 1,079 PS and featuring all-wheel drive. Its positioning places it roughly between traditional Aston Martin road cars and Valkyrie.

This brand-new 2026 luxury sports car has not yet been included, but if it appears in FH6, it would certainly be a pleasant surprise.

Aston Martin One-77

Aston Martin One-77 is a limited-production flagship supercar introduced by Aston Martin in 2009, with only 77 units produced.

It uses a naturally aspirated 7.3L V12 producing around 760 hp, making it one of Aston Martin's most powerful naturally aspirated road cars at the time.

Aston Martin One-77 previously appeared in FH5 Series 13, and the player community has continued to hope for its return in FH6.

2017 Bentley Continental Supersports

The first-generation Continental Supersports was introduced in 2009 as the extreme-performance version of Bentley Continental GT family.

The second-generation Continental Supersports from 2017 was even more impressive. It features all-wheel drive and a 6.0L W12 producing around 710 bhp. At the time, it was regarded as one of Bentley's fastest production cars.

It appeared in Forza Horizon 3, 4, and 5, but has not yet been released in FH6. As a classic British performance car, it would be a particularly fitting choice for this theme.

Morgan Plus Four / Plus Six

Morgan is a highly distinctive British car manufacturer known for traditional hand-built construction and retro styling. The modern Plus Four still retains a very traditional appearance, but its chassis has been modernized with an aluminum platform.

Morgan Plus Four uses a BMW 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine, while the Plus Six uses a BMW 3.0L inline-six.

If the official team does not want to fill the series with supercars, adding a Morgan Plus model would be one of the best choices. It combines traditional styling with equally impressive modern performance.

Caterham Seven 420R

Caterham Seven is one of the cars that best represents British lightweight sports car philosophy. Caterham vehicles have already appeared in Forza Motorsport 5 and Forza Motorsport 6: Apex.

The history of Caterham Seven can be traced back to Lotus Seven. After Lotus stopped producing the model, Caterham obtained the rights to continue manufacturing this iconic car.

Seven 420R is a high-performance version with an extremely low weight and a 2.0L Ford Duratec engine producing around 210 hp.

On mountain roads, through corners, and on technical circuits, the lightweight Seven could give players a driving experience completely different from that of a McLaren or Aston Martin.

McMurtry Spéirling

McMurtry Spéirling is an ultra-lightweight electric race car developed by British manufacturer McMurtry Automotive.

It set a new hill climb record of 39.08 seconds at 2022 Goodwood Festival of Speed Hillclimb.

It uses fans to generate enormous ground suction, allowing it to produce extremely strong downforce even at low speeds in theory.

Standing out from the crowd of oddly shaped Forza Horizon 6 cars, McMurtry Spéirling is unique. Even though its overall performance is relatively poor, it still has considerable collectible value.

Those are some predictions for British cars that could appear in Forza Horizon 6 Series 5. However, the official team may also choose not to add new models and instead bring back British cars that previously appeared in FH4 or FH5 but are currently missing from FH6. Let's see whether more information will be revealed during Gamescom.

Forza Horizon 6 brings the stage to Japan. For many players, this is a long-awaited choice. Japan boasts a rich array of car brands, a unique tuning culture, a tradition of mountain driving, and a globally influential JDM culture.

Whether it's the neon-lit streets of Tokyo at night or the winding roads of Mount Akina, Japan seems a natural fit for Forza Horizon. But here's the problem: while FH6 perfectly integrates Japan into the game's geography, it doesn't seamlessly integrate Japanese car culture into the gameplay.

Car Tuning Culture

One of the most captivating aspects of Japanese car culture isn't a few famous JDM cars, but rather how enthusiasts transform ordinary cars into entirely different things through modification.

Japanese streets have witnessed a diverse array of tuning styles: Bōsōzoku, Kaido Racer, Shakotan, VIP Style, and various extreme lowriders, widebody kits, and street styles. These cultures are rooted in their own aesthetics, history, and owner communities.

However, in FH6, while players possess a considerable number of Japanese car models, they aren't necessarily able to truly customize them into these styles.

For example, a Toyota Crown, Celsior, or other large Japanese sedan, with more comprehensive customization options, could be transformed into a true Japanese VIP vehicle through exaggerated wheels, extremely low stances, air suspension, camber, and body kits.

This illustrates a crucial point: the existence of a Japanese car in the game and allowing players to create a car rooted in Japanese culture are two different things.

Underglow is another prime example. While it doesn't represent the entirety of Japanese car culture, it undeniably alters the visual appearance of modified cars at night. For a game that perfectly recreates Japanese city streets at night, adding this feature is highly suitable.

Therefore, rather than simply adding a few already familiar JDM classics, FH6 should perhaps focus on providing existing Japanese vehicles with more customization possibilities reflecting Japanese car culture.

Japanese Car Enthusiast Life

Car culture is never just about cars. True Japanese car culture also includes car enthusiasts, parking lots, tuning shops, mountain road rest areas, and nighttime car meets. Where does someone go after modifying their car? Who do they talk to? What cars are others driving? These elements collectively constitute what we call car culture.

The Daikoku Parking Area is a mecca for car enthusiasts worldwide not just because it has a parking lot, but because it fosters a unique car social scene: different types of cars, tuning enthusiasts, and fans appear in the same space, with the vehicles themselves becoming a medium for communication.

If Forza Horizon 6 can further utilize this culture, the game's portrayal of Japan will feel completely different. Imagine: a player drives their modified car to a large parking area at night, surrounded by various JDM, VIP, Kei Cars, and supercars. The player can get out to admire, take photos, exchange car designs, and even participate in impromptu virtual car meetups - completely different from participating in a race.

Because players aren't aiming for rankings or completing festival playlists, but simply to enjoy cars with other enthusiasts - that's the true essence of car culture.

If a game depicts Japan with only beautiful streets, Mount Fuji, cherry blossoms, and convenience stores, it represents the scenery. But when a game starts showcasing car meetups, tuning shops, nighttime parking lots, and player interaction, it begins to represent Japanese car culture.

Touge Culture on Mountain Roads

When discussing Japanese car culture, mountain roads and drifting are almost unavoidable. The immense influence of Japanese touge culture isn't just due to the suitability of mountain roads for driving, but also because it has fostered a unique car culture: uphill and downhill driving, routes, vehicle selection, driving techniques, and the chases between two cars.

Forza Horizon 6's track design inherently provides an environment perfectly suited for this gameplay style. If more specialized touge activities were added, such as tandem drifting, downhill time trials, nighttime mountain road challenges, or more free-flowing tandem drifting, then Japan's geography would no longer be just a visual backdrop, but would genuinely influence the player's driving style.

A modified AE86, Silvia, or RX-7 drives along a dimly lit mountain road, two cars chasing each other, with only city lights and headlights visible in the distance - this scene itself is a quintessential visual symbol of Japanese car culture. Forza Horizon 6 possesses most of the necessary elements to create this scene, but it lacks the gameplay elements to further integrate it into Japanese touge culture.

The Contradiction Between Horizon's Global Formula and Japanese Culture

Of course, Forza Horizon 6 is still just a racing game; it can't completely become a Japanese car culture simulator. Open world, vehicle collection, racing, and various entertainment events are the core features of the Horizon series, and these elements themselves are not problematic.

But when Horizon arrives in Japan, is Japan merely a map, or should it further influence gameplay?

If, after arriving in Japan, players still only drive Ferraris in off-road races, perform stunts in Lamborghinis, participate in activities unrelated to Japanese car culture, and even encounter road signs only in English, then Japan, to some extent, is just the game's background - no different from driving in a Japanese theme park in America.

This doesn't mean the FH6 should remove Horizon features, but rather that it should incorporate more Japanese-specific elements into its existing framework. Custom cars can have their own car clubs, mountain roads can offer unique touge experiences, and the city at night can become a stage for custom car culture. In this way, Japan won't just be placed within Horizon, but will truly become a part of it.
