  • LOTRO: Why Is This MMORPG Still Worth Playing In 2024? - My Personal Opinion

    Posted: May 18, 2024

Lord of the Rings Online (LOTRO) is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) set in the iconic world of Middle Earth, based on the fantasy novels by J.R.R. Tolkien. Developed by Turbine and published by Standing Stone Games, the game was released in 2007 and has since evolved with numerous updates and expansions.

Today, I'll delve into a few aspects of Lord of the Rings Online and share my thoughts on why it's still worthy of our attention in 2024.

    Content For Low-Level Players

The first thing I find fascinating about LOTRO is its willingness to develop and release new content aimed at low or mid-level players, rather than focusing solely on endgame content like raids or PVP. This approach is somewhat foreign to other MMOs like World of Warcraft or Final Fantasy 14, where such content is often overlooked.

For instance, LOTRO's Update 33 introduced the Yondershire, a new region for characters around Level 20 to 23. This zone, reminiscent of the Shire, offered new quests, reputation rewards, and cosmetics. Similarly, the mini-expansion Before the Shadow revamped the new player starting experience with zones like Swanfleet, offering story-based content rather than just high-level challenges.

I appreciate how Standing Stone Games normalizes the addition of lower and mid-level content, understanding the diversity of their player base. While other MMOs may focus on endgame activities, LOTRO prioritizes the journey over the destination. Its vibrant world and rich storytelling immerse players in the Middle Earth, catering to those seeking more than just loot and optimization.

In LOTRO, you can still pursue high-level challenges, but the game's slower and more laid-back pace offers a refreshing alternative to the fast-paced gameplay of other MMOs. This unique approach makes LOTRO a canvas for experiencing Middle Earth's story and atmosphere, appealing to a different kind of player and enriching the MMO landscape.

    Great Zone Design

In traditional MMOs, I've noticed a tendency for zones to feel somewhat limited in scale and scope, which can detract from the overall immersion. For instance, in the WoW Classic Cataclysm zones like Mount Hyjal or Kun-Lai Summit in Pandaria, while enjoyable, sometimes lack that grand sense of scale they aim for.

On the other hand, in the Lord of the Rings Online, zones like the Dimrill Dale or Eregion convey a remarkable sense of vastness and grandeur. Even though the graphics may not be cutting-edge, the world feels expansive, with mountains towering in the distance and valleys stretching out before you.

This attention to scale and immersion is one of the distinguishing features of LOTRO. Unlike some modern MMOs where fast travel and flying mounts shrink the world, LOTRO preserves that sense of vastness.

    Stay True To Tolkien's Lore

LOTRO has always strived to stay true to Tolkien's lore, even when introducing new elements like the Rune-keeper class or expanding lesser-known areas like Swanfleet. This commitment to authenticity and respect for the source material sets LOTRO apart. While some may focus on flashy graphics or fast-paced combat, LOTRO's appeal lies in its ability to transport players to Tolkien's world and let them explore and learn at their own pace.

LOTRO's appeal lies not in cutting-edge graphics or fast-paced combat but in its role as a gateway to Tolkien's world. Players have invested years immersing themselves in Middle Earth, learning about its lore, and feeling their time respected. LOTRO offers a unique experience that cannot be replicated by mere graphical updates or flashy advertising.

    Landscape Difficulty

Moreover, LOTRO has introduced innovative features like the Landscape Difficulty, which allows players to adjust the challenge level of the Open World and solo or Duo Missions.

This feature, although recent, demonstrates the game's willingness to evolve and cater to players' preferences. It's a good idea to have plenty of LOTRO Gold on hand.

    Final Thought

In conclusion, while the future of LOTRO may be uncertain, its legacy as a faithful adaptation of Tolkien's world remains strong. Players value the game not just for its gameplay mechanics but for its role in preserving and honoring the rich lore of Middle Earth. As LOTRO continues to evolve, it remains a beloved staple in the MMO genre, offering a unique and immersive experience for fans of Tolkien's works.

  • Fallout 76: A Legendary Weapon That Low-Health Builds Must Not Miss! - Railway Rifle

    Posted: May 18, 2024

Here I want to talk about Railway Rifle, which is one of the best weapons in the game if it is set up properly.

Railway Rifle is a home-made steel stake launcher that is loved by many Fallout 76 players. It has high single-shot damage values in both semi-auto or full-auto shooting modes, is incredibly ammo efficient, and is very easy to make.

This is undoubtedly one of the best weapons in Fallout 76, especially for VATS Commando builds. If you want to buy a Railway Rifle for yourself, here are some places to find it.

    How To Find Railway Rifle?

Imagine taking a solid block of steel and shooting it at someone’s head. That’s what Railway Rifle is all about. It uses the power of a steam engine to fire solid steel bolts at whatever you want to destroy.

It makes a cool gurgling sound when you reload. You can find plans to make them starting at level 30 in the southern and eastern parts of the map. But you can also buy plans directly from vendors, including Free States and Shopping Mall Vendors at Whitespring Resort. Additionally, Grahm, a super mutant merchant, and vendors in Watoga, as well as Berkeley Springs Station, also sell these plans.

    Why It’s Good?

By default, Rifle does 95 base damage per shot. That’s more than Hunting Rifle’s 70 base damage. It also has a very high recoil, so at first glance, it looks like a classic sniper that hits hard but shoots slowly.

But if you look closely, you’ll see that it only costs 20 Action Points to shoot in VATS, which is less than VATS cost of most snipers. Adding Automatic Piston mod also halves Action Point cost and increases the rate of fire to 75, which is comparable to Handmade Rifle.

One of the great things about the game is that weapons that hit hard tend to shoot slowly and require a lot of Action Points in VATS. You should use them as precision weapons. On the other hand, fast-firing weapons deal fewer damage per shot, and Machine Guns require a lot of AP in VATS. So you should rely on the rate of fire to take out enemies.

But Railway Rifle breaks all stereotypes. It does a lot of damage, but it also fires very quickly and is also cheap in VATS. The only downside is the ridiculously high recoil. This makes the automatic Railway Rifle unique.

    How To Use It Properly?

Railway Rifle almost looks like it was designed specifically for VATS. And that’s exactly how you should use it, because VATS can counteract the recoil.

It doesn’t have a lot of mods. As I mentioned before, Automatic Piston Receiver increases the rate of fire and reduces the cost in VATS. Outside of VATS, the extra rate of fire will be useless because of the recoil, but when you add the mod, it also reduces AP cost. So it’s a simple choice to go with Automatic Piston.

Long Barrel gives you more range and accuracy, but at the cost of more recoil. But as we mentioned before, VATS counteracts recoil, so you’ll want Long Barrel as well.

Also, Longer Scope will make you more accurate, which is very handy, but opting for Reflex Sight will reduce AP cost to 7 per shot. If you have plenty of Perception, then Reflex Sight might be the better choice. Players with low health and a full Unyielding set will be particularly suited to using it.

Extra Perception will let you hit more in VATS, extra AP means you can shoot more, and extra Luck means more crits.

But unlike most Rifles, it doesn’t have Armor Penetrating Magazines, so make sure to use Tank Killer to give yourself some ways around armor, and use Critical Savvy perk card to get as many crits as possible.

There’s no weight saving perks under Perception so you should also be free to use Commando perks for more damage.

If you don’t have Speed Demon mutation, Ground and Pound should help you reload faster. But if you have mutations, you can replace it with other perks, since reloading is only a little faster and the hip fire accuracy bonus isn’t very useful for Railway Rifle.

    Best Legendary Effects

As always, which Legendary Effect is best comes down to personal preference, but I’ll give some of my thoughts.

Since Railway Rifle has a small magazine, with only 10 spikes. This makes Quad effect more useful than other weapon types.

Anti Armor is also particularly useful, since Rifle doesn’t have an Anti Armor magazine, halving an enemy’s armor makes a noticeable difference. Combine it with Tank Killer and you can reduce armor by nearly 70%, compared to 36% with just Tank Killer.

Against bosses, you still need Quad effect for a more sustained shot, but Anti Armor does significantly more damage per shot, so it works better in normal play. But both are great as endgame gear.

For the second star, Explosive effects are always good for marking, but the 25% faster fire rate against bosses will actually give you more damage, especially if you land more critical hits at low health.

VATS Enhanced is the obvious choice for the last star. Reducing VATS action cost by 25% doesn’t seem like much, but this discount is based on the base AP cost, so the action point cost per shot is fixed at -5.

With Automatic Piston and Reflex Sight, it costs 7 AP per shot, which is still low, but with the reduced VATS cost, it only costs 2 AP per shot, which is ridiculous.

It pairs well with any other combination of Legendary Effects, but pairs particularly well with Quad. Therefore, the ideal combination is Quad, Faster Fire, and VATS Enhanced.

I got 492 AP with my low health character, which is more than enough to throw multiple magazines at a boss without running out of AP.

    Outro

All in all, Railway Rifle is a very specialized weapon. For anyone using VATS, especially with a low health build, this is one of the best weapons you can get. It hits hard, shoots fast, and has a very low VATS cost. Once you use an excellent weapon, you’ll understand why it has remained popular with players for so many years. Give it a try!

  • Fallout 76: Unlock Exciting Rewards By Obtaining These Special Items

    Posted: May 18, 2024

Greeting fellow gamers! Here is a new guide of Fallout 76. Today, I have prepared several important items that can be vendor for amazing rewards. If you are interested in this content, just follow my step and take a closer look!

    US Government Supply Requisition

First thing we're going to talk about is the US Government Supply Requisition. You can find it under your holotapes menu in your Pip-Boy kit or in your stash. You usually obtain these off of enemies that you've killed in Fallout 76, usually the Ghouls. With this holotape, you can take it to any Relay Tower.

When you arrive at the Relay Tower, kill the enemies and jump onto the terminal that's inside. You're going to want to hit 'load holotape', selecting the US Government Supply Requisition, and then request an emergency air drop. Now, once you've done that, load up your map. You may also have to put the side quest for and get the supply drop.

Then, we're going to go to the Bolton Greens. Once you spawn in, you're going to go over to where it shows you on the compass, and within that area, you'll find an air drop. You might have to wait like 30 seconds for it to drop, but eventually it will drop. If you don't see it, look for the orange smoke. Once you get over to it, you might have to use a Bobby Pin if you don't have Master Infiltrator on, but you'll get some good stuff from there.

    Pleasant Valley Claim Tickets

Next one we're going to talk about is the Pleasant Valley Claim Tickets. You're going to want to spawn in at the Pleasant Valley Ski Resort. Once you're here, you're going to make your way over to the front entrance that's close to Top of the World. Right here, you're going to want to go upstairs and then down 2 flights of stairs.

Now, once you're down here, there is a quest in order to be able to get through this doorway. It is called the Key to the Past, and you'll just have to complete that in order to gain access to this room. Once you're in here, you're going to want to talk to the bellhop there.

If you have Pleasant Valley Claim Tickets on you, they're under miscellaneous in your Pip-Boy kit. Even if you have multiple tickets on you, you'll have to give them one by one. You can have them all on your character at a time, but you'll have to keep clicking him until you're done giving him the tickets.

    Technical Data

Next, let's discuss the Technical Data. You can find these in desks, safes, blue and orange cylindrical filing cabinets, AMS Corporate Headquarters, Sugar Grove, Watoga High School, and the Silo locations. You can usually find them in the Filing Cabinets at West Tek. You might need to complete a quest to access the basement, but you can also check upstairs in the West Tek, where you might find Technical Data.

Once you've collected the Technical Data, you'll receive the quest called 'Forbidden Knowledge'. Head to Fort Atlas to deliver the data to the Brotherhood of Steel scribe. If you have multiple pieces of Technical Data, it's best to deliver them one at a time.

If you give them all at once, it reduces your chances of getting rare rewards. I recommend going to a stash box, taking out one piece of Technical Data at a time, and delivering them individually. Although it takes some time, you can repeat this process for each piece of Technical Data you have.

    Claim Tokens

Next, let's talk about Claim Tokens. If you've participated in the Load Bearing event, where you help robots stay alive while they dig up resources, you've likely gained some Claim Tokens. After completing the event, you also receive 10 additional tokens as part of the rewards, making it worthwhile to participate. During the event, you earn two tokens every few minutes as you keep the robots alive for the 4 to 5-minute duration.

Now, what do you do with those Claim Tokens? Head to the Terminal. If you have some tokens, you can exchange them for various hauls, such as the Jackpot Haul. From the Claim Tokens you get, you can receive a significant amount of scrap, ammo, and other valuable Fallout 76 Items.

    Mr. Fuzzy Tokens

Lastly, let's talk about the Mr. Fuzzy Tokens. Head over to the Camden Park. By completing three daily quests involving carnival games, you can earn three Mr. Fuzzy Tokens for each game or quest you complete.

Chow Line: Participate in the hotdog eating contest. Some hotdogs are moldy, but if you eat 6 hotdogs within a minute, you'll earn 3 Mr. Fuzzy Tokens. It's very easy to do.

Dross Toss: Toggle this on your daily quests. Talk to Zach to start. Pick up the dross, which equips like a grenade, and try to throw it into the tires. If you miss, just keep throwing until you run out of drosses. Wait a few seconds for the event to complete and receive your tokens.

Lucky Mucker: Talk to Zeke and grab the coal bucket. Deposit the coal into 4 Wheelbarrows located around the Camden Park. After depositing the coal, return to Zeke for 3 more tokens.

Once you’ve completed all 3 quests, or if you already have some Mr. Fuzzy Tokens, head to The Company Store and use the terminal. Here, you can see what prizes you can afford with your tokens. The prizes range from minor items to the Mr. Fuzzy costume and the Mr. Fuzzy costume head, which may take a long time to obtain. But if you’re interested, it’s worth picking up.

  • LOTRO: These 5 Top Solo Classes Will Make Your Adventures Both Empowering And Fun!

    Posted: May 18, 2024

Leveling up, slashing beasts, and pushing the limits of survival in Lord of The Rings Online is something solo players have always enjoyed the most. If you are also looking for advice on adventuring alone in LOTRO and becoming a one-man army, then don’t miss this guide.

Here, we will talk about which character classes in LOTRO will give you the most freedom and independence while adventuring. These classes not only give you the ability to act alone but also help you stay safe when facing multiple monsters. Let’s jump right in!

    5. Champion

Champion is your go-to hack-and-slash class. Simple, easy to use, durable, and capable of dealing tremendous damage, it is the perfect choice for your LOTRO solo experience.

They wear heavy armor and wield two-handed weapons or dual one-handed weapons, which look great when paired with LOTRO’s amazing clothing options.

As the game progresses, you can also wear ranged weapons and perform certain skills with it, although not auto-attacks.

So if you want a class that can effortlessly take a ton of damage, deal even more damage, and cut through the flesh of its enemies, Champion is the perfect choice for you.

The reason why Champion isn’t ranked higher on the list is that they’re a bit too simple for some MMO players who are looking for a lot of ability variety. Champion has a variety of abilities, and you just need to click on them, and Champion can kill the target instantly.

    4. Captain

Captain is a truly unique class. If you try to compare the class to some classes in some other well-known MMOs, you’ll have a hard time putting it into any established category. Although some people consider Captain to be Warrior-type classes in some other MMOs, as a powerful tank, it’s obviously different from what we think of this class.

Captain wears heavy armor and wields a melee weapon, either a one-handed weapon and a shield, or a large two-handed weapon. And depending on the specialization you choose, they can perform whatever role you want them to, whether it’s dealing damage, buffing themselves and their allies, weakening enemies, or tanking. This is thanks to their heavy armor and huge healing capabilities.

Captain is great for co-op, but can also be played as a solo class. One of the major benefits of playing Captain solo is that you get your very own Herald!

Heralds are companions that follow you around and help you out by buffing/weakening effects and removing all your aggro. With a Herald by your side, you’ll never be alone.

Besides being unique, fun, and adaptable, Captains are also very efficient, and there are many reasons to choose this class. But keep in mind that Captains can be a bit slow in XP gaining, despite their ability to take on multiple opponents, which is why they’re ranked fourth. But if you have enough LOTRO Gold, buy some XP buffs, this won’t be a problem at all.

    3. Warden

Warden is a hybrid class introduced in 2008 in Mines of Moria expansion.

Essentially, they’re tanks. They’re unique in that they wear medium armor, but what they lack in weaponry they make up for with the unique Warden’s Shields, which gives them an extra defensive advantage.

However, their hybrid nature doesn’t stop there. They combine their spears with Warden’s Shields and attack from range by throwing Javelins.

However, their abilities make it all work perfectly together. They have high single-target damage, high threat, amazing combat durability, and their damage mechanics can change from melee to ranged depending on your specialization.

What does this do to Warden’s single-player capabilities? In short, you can choose to be a tank in more dangerous conditions, mix between ranged and melee. Being a tank will never affect your DPS ability, and you will have so many options to mow down enemies.

    2. Guardian

Guardian is an unquestionable tank king. Whether it is extremely high health, heavy armor, heavy shields, or the ability to specifically attract all aggro, all of these make your Guardian a beast without any weaknesses.

However, besides their tanking specialization, they have a trick up their sleeve. They can also act as DPS and wear a two-handed weapon. In this case, they become very efficient mob removers. You will be surprised how fun and efficient it is to use Guardian as a primary damage dealer.

Besides that, Guardian’s combat mechanics have a well-designed flow, and besides giving you a solid single-player experience, they are versatile in combat and look great with all that armor/shield bulk.

    1. Hunter

No doubt, the top of the list is definitely Hunter. This class is a masterpiece of single-player games, and this is completely the consensus of the vast majority of players.

Hunter wields a bow, which is their basic source of damage. But they are also equipped with two one-handed weapons for melee situations. They wear medium armor, deal extremely high single-target damage, and are particularly suitable for single-player games.

First of all, they run faster when walking, which is very useful when you need to find quest items or explore the terrain without a mount.

Besides this, Hunter also has fast-travel abilities that allow you to travel to various places in the world. And as the level increases, the number of places you can go to at once will also increase.

Don’t underestimate it. This ability of Hunter will speed up your leveling process at a speed you can’t imagine. Especially for non-VIP players, because these players don’t have many fast travel options.

More importantly, Hunter has a variety of gameplay, which stimulates the player’s imagination to a certain extent. If you want, you can even change stances, use ranged skills to slow down, stun and cripple monsters, and then approach them and kill them with dual weapons. You can also set traps, track animals or artifacts, travel light, and travel quickly. The specific gameplay is entirely up to you.

The above are the 5 preferred classes for single players when adventuring on Middle-Earth. Choosing a suitable class will definitely make your exploration journey smoother. I wish you good luck!

  • Diablo 4 Season 4: Tips You Must Know To Start Running Helltide Reborn

    Posted: May 18, 2024

As we all know, Helltide Reborn, as one of the core contents of the Diablo 4 Season 4 update, has brought us vast changes. The XP, loot, and materials brought by this Helltide Reborn events change are crucial to the advancement of each player’s game progress, and everyone needs these to successfully reach the level cap.

Therefore, in this guide, we will talk about how Helltide Reborn event works and share some tips to help you maximize your benefits. Without further ado, let’s get started!

    Why Try Helltide?

Whether you are currently playing in Seasonal Realm or Eternal Realm, participating in Helltide events and winning rewards is very necessary.

Killing monsters during these events will earn you a lot of XP and allow you to obtain unique currencies to unlock treasure chests filled with loot and valuable materials. Because of this, Helltide is also the best way to level up in Season 4 Loot Reborn.

Additionally, some of Diablo 4 Items you get from Helltide events can be used to summon bosses, which drop Uniques and Uber Uniques. You can also earn Murmuring Obols by completing events there, which allows you to gamble at Purveyor of Curiosities. Helltide is the most profitable event in the game, as long as your character can defeat high-level monsters.

    Unlocking Helltide Reborn

Helltide Reborn event will only appear on your map after you complete or skip Diablo 4 campaign. If you’ve never played Diablo 4 before, you must first complete the prologue of the story until you reach Kyovashad city. You can then skip the campaign on the character selection screen or when creating a new character.

You can then join Helltide, starting at level one in all World Tiers, though, Nightmare and Torment World Tiers have more monsters and Tortured Gift chests.

    How Does It Work?

Your goal in Helltide is to collect as many Aberrant Cinders as possible to open Tortured Gift chests and get loot.

However, Aberrant Cinders you collect are not permanent. You lose 50% of them when you die, and you lose all of them when Helltide event ends. They don’t disappear when you teleport to town, but you can’t keep them in the next Helltide.

Note that Helltide monsters are always three levels higher than you, but never higher than level 50 in Adventurer and Veteran World Tiers.

As you defeat them, Threat meter on the right side of the screen gradually fills up. As your threat increases, monsters will periodically ambush you. When Threat meter is full, a series of ambushes will occur, culminating in a confrontation with a particularly powerful enemy, Hellborne. Threat meter will only reset after Hellborne appears or you die.

    Spawn Time

Helltide Reborn events periodically take over one of five areas of Diablo 4 world map for 55 minutes and fill up with high-level monsters. Then, after the event ends, there’s a short five-minute break before another event pops up in a new area.

This means you have a limited time to acquire Aberrant Cinders and spend them on treasure chests before they disappear. If you want to know when the next Helltide is, I recommend checking Helltide event tracker ahead of time, so you know exactly when.

    Blood Maiden

Just like Blood Harvests in Season 2, you can use a new Helltide-specific material to summon Blood Maiden, a new boss that drops a ton of valuable loot.

To summon Blood Maiden boss, you need to place a Baneful Heart on each pedestal in an Accursed Ritual location. You need three Baneful Hearts total, but other players can also activate pedestals. Anyone who spends the material to summon Blood Maiden will get bonus loot.

Tortured Gift Chests, Hellborne, and Doomsayers all drop Baneful Hearts, which you can use to perform an Accursed Ritual at locations marked on the map by a white-horned demon icon, which appears orange to indicate it’s activated.

Blood Maiden generally drops a lot of loot, but she will drop Exquisite Blood specifically for summoning Lord Zir, and has a chance to drop summoning materials for random other bosses in Torment World Tier.

    Farming Aberrant Cinders

To maximize the benefits of each run of Hellborne, it’s essential to collect more Aberrant Cinders during the process. To achieve this goal, all you have to do is kill monsters, complete events, and interact with various objects in the environment to obtain Aberrant Cinders.

They’re everywhere and impossible to miss, but there are a few ways you can try to get them as quickly as possible. Next, we’ll talk about the best strategies for farming Aberrant Cinders efficiently.

To start, focus on killing large groups of monsters and elites, and completing every local and small event you come across while ignoring stragglers. Keep in mind that your farming goals are focused on densely packed parts of the map rather than open areas.

Click on every glowing Fiend Rose, Forgotten Soul, and Helltide Ore veins you find. Don’t forget to kill the monsters marked with skulls on the map for extra rewards.

Also, avoid fighting Blood Maiden boss at low levels so you don’t lose too many Aberrant Cinders to accidental deaths. Likewise, avoid the wandering boss in Helltide, Kixxarth, unless you can kill him quickly.

It’s important to note that you should skip opening chests until the last 15 minutes or so to avoid out-leveling monsters and reducing your XP gains.

Well-equipped level 100 players should prioritize speed and AoE damage, even if it means you need to switch skills in order to run Helltide.

That’s all you need to know about running Helltide Reborn in Diablo 4 Season 4. If you want to achieve fast leveling and experience the endgame as soon as possible, then don’t miss it!

  • Fallout 76: Which Are The Best Power Armor Sets Available In 2024?

    Posted: May 17, 2024

Welcome to another Fallout 76 guide! This time, I will delve into the best power armor available in Fallout 76 as of 2024. Power armor is an essential aspect of gameplay, offering protection and various bonuses to enhance your survivability and combat effectiveness in the Wasteland.

    Power Armor Sets Overview

Among all the Fallout 76 Items, there are several power armor sets, each with its own strengths and special attributes. Here are the sets you can find in the game:

    • T-45 Power Armor
    • T-51b Power Armor
    • T-60 Power Armor
    • T-65 Power Armor
    • X-01 Power Armor
    • Ultracite Power Armor
    • Strangler Heart Power Armor
    • Raider Power Armor
    • Hellcat Power Armor
    • Excavator Power Armor
    • Union Power Armor

While every power armor set offers some level of protection and bonuses, a few stand out because of their exceptional attributes. Here are the best power armor sets in Fallout 76 as of 2024, along with reasons why they are considered top-tier:

    T-65 Power Armor

The first one I would recommend is the T-65. It may not be the best-looking set, but out of all the sets, it has the highest resistance for both physical and energy damage, plus a substantial 90% rad reduction. To obtain this set, you need to find the Vault 79. Teleport there and look for an NPC named Regs, who sells the plans for each piece for Gold Bullion.

To get Gold Bullion, you can do the Wastelanders daily quests or complete certain public events to earn treasury notes. These notes can be taken to a gold press machine in the Whitespring Resort mall to convert into Gold Bullion. Keep in mind, the vendor has a daily limit of 400, so plan accordingly.

    Union Power Armor

Another power armor set, currently unobtainable because of a bug, is the Union power armor set. This will likely be fixed in the next major update. You used to get it from the Season 10 Scoreboard, but now it seems to be available from the Expeditions vendor for 120 stamps per part.

This set offers 150% poison resistance and a 75 boost to carry weight, making it perfect for low HP builds or bloodied builds. The poison resistance is particularly useful in endgame scenarios where poison clouds can be lethal.

    Excavator Power Armor

The Excavator Power Armor set may not be the prettiest, but it's incredibly functional. You can obtain it early on through the Miner Miracles quest, which unlocks at Level 20. This set provides 90% rad reduction, 42% damage reduction, and a +100 carry weight bonus.

Additionally, it gives you four times the yield when mining ores, making it perfect for resource farming. It's an excellent choice for Hoarders or those who enjoy gathering their own materials.

    Hellcat Power Armor

The last set I’ll discuss is one I most recommend - the Hellcat Power Armor. You can get this set by completing the Brotherhood of Steel quest line. Regardless of your choices in the main story, you will obtain this power armor. Each piece gives you +2% ballistic damage resistance, making it one of the tankiest power armors in Fallout 76.

It's ideal for max health builds, especially if you roll the Overeaters on all pieces to maximize tankiness. While it doesn't boost carry weight, you can modify the arms or legs to increase carry capacity.

  • Elden Ring: A Detailed Guide To This Mind Cthulhu Inspired Build! - Weapons, Incantations, Talismans And More

    Posted: May 17, 2024

In preparation for Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC coming on June 21, 2024, I built a fantastic starter build, a Cthulhu Inspired build that will melt all aliens. In this guide, we’ll talk about everything you need to know to build this mind build. Without further ado, let’s take a quick look at the summary of this build.

    Overview

Starting with the traits, aka the things that define this build. This is either a Strength/Faith/Arcane build or Dexterity/Faith/Arcane, depending on the weapons you decide to stick with.

Since you can’t make monsters in this game disappear just by thinking about them, the next best thing would be Madness status effect. This means this build uses Frenzied Flame Incantations.

To complement the mind theme, it uses weapons with power of mind attacks, namely Regalia of Eochaid and Marais Executioner’s Sword. Then I will try to make it as powerful as possible without detracting from the theme.

Now for the pros. What I can say is that the best thing about this build is the damage, it’s ridiculously high! If you manage to use the weapon skills in this build when the enemy leaves a gap. Besides that, its spells also do a ton of damage, especially the ones used at a distance.

Now let’s look at the cons of this build. First of all, I would like to say that this is a build that works best in New Game+ and above. You can try it on New Game, but the problem is that it is very harsh in the early game because the lack of some early attribute points leads to low damage to early weapons.

And its Madness status effect is almost useless in PVE. But luckily, most build up Madness’ spells also deal fire damage, so the spell itself is not useless.

Also, the armor sets of this build don’t provide a lot of poise, so that’s another aspect that this build lacks. And Sacred Seal and some Talismans take a while to get, and some can even be obtained only on New Game+.

Because of all these cutbacks on this build, it is not beginner friendly. This is indeed a build that requires some gaming knowledge, even if you have experience playing Soul-like games.

    Weapons

With the basics out of the way, let’s take a look at the weapons I chose for this build.

We’ll start with the weapon you can get your hands on as quickly as possible, which is Regalia of Eochaid. With this weapon, the stat points will be focused on Dexterity instead of Strength. You only need 12 points of Strength to use it, and then the rest of the build will focus on Dexterity, Faith and Arcane.

The most interesting part of this weapon, of course, is its skill, Eochaid’s Dancing Blade, which is where most of the weapon’s damage comes from. This skill can be charged up to increase damage and attack range.

Beyond that, you can also deal even more damage with another weapon that has almost the same name, but is slower. I present to you Marais Executioner’s Sword.

It works exactly the same as Regalia of Eochaid, but it’s a Greatsword. The skills are the same, it works the same, and it’s used the same way. But if you’re going to use it, the stat points should be focused on Strength instead of Dexterity. You only need 14 Dexterity to use it.

    Incantations

Now let’s check out the other part of this build that deals damage, namely Incantations. Start with the obvious: Golden Vow and Flame Grant Me Strength. These are the two support incantations for this build. There’s a third one, which I’ll talk about soon.

Golden Vow increases all sources of damage by 15% and increases damage resistance to all types of damage by 10%. To get it, you need to go to Corpse-Stench Shack in Mt Gelmir. It’s on a corpse inside a shack. Note that when you get close to the shack, an NPC will invade you, but you can rush in and grab it before she appears on the map.

Another support incantation is Flame Grant Me Strength, which combines perfectly with Golden Vow. But it works better in builds that deal fire damage, as it increases this damage by 20%. It’s located behind Fort Gael in Caelid. You can get it early, as it only requires 15 Faith to cast.

Now let’s look at Frenzied Flame Incantations that this build requires. This is an area of effect incantation. When cast, the user will eject a very erratic fireball from their eyes in front of them. As such, it is best used against large enemies or enormous groups, especially when they are not moving fast.

    Sacred Seals

Now, let’s move on to Sacred Seals that should be used in this build. This is a fairly simple Seal, Frenzied Flame Seal. As it boosts the damage of Frenzied Flame Incantations by 20%.

To make the most of it, you should get a second one on New Game+, as using two Seals together increases the boost by 40%.

It is one of the best Seals to have early in the game and is fairly easy to get. If you start with a class other than Prophet or Confessor, you can easily buy this seal from Twin Maiden Husks for Elden Ring Runes.

    Talismans

Speaking of Talismans, we need to split them into two different sets. One for weapons, and one for more focused spells.

For weapons, Talismans I recommend are: Winged Sword Insignia/Rotten Winged Sword Insignia, Millicent’s Prosthesis, Warrior Jar Shard/Shard of Alexander and Godfrey Icon. These three Talismans focus on increasing the damage of consecutive hits.

Now, we are going to check Talismans to equip when using spells, including: Fire Scorpion Charm, Faithful’s Canvas and Flock’s Canvas. They can greatly increase the damage caused by this build.

The above is all you need to know about assembling this build. Its high damage and fun gameplay experience will leave you with impressive memories in Shadow of the Erdtree DLC!

  • WOW Cataclysm Classic: Try These Recommended UI Addons For A Better Gaming Experience

    Posted: May 17, 2024

Hi, fellow gamers! I know a lot of you are in need of a simple UI guide, and with the WoW Cataclysm Classic just around the corner, this is the perfect time to set it up to be fast and smooth. Let me walk you through several important addons you need to have. Let's get started!

    CurseForge

The first thing that you need to do is to get the CurseForge addon updated. You’ve got to be able to keep track of all of your addons and update them with every new patch, especially at the beginning of the new WoW expansion. There are going to be a lot of bugs, so having this updated every day before you log in by pressing 'Update All' on the addons is going to make your game smoother.

    DarkMode

DarkMode is an addon that can darken various user interface (UI) elements in the game. Once installed, it uniformly alters the appearance of Action Bars, Unit Frames, Minimaps, Character Panels, Quest Logs, and more, creating a dark look across the entire interface. Its installation is very simple and does not require any setup.

    Easy Frames

Easy Frames are smooth and clean, providing a lot of information. With this addon, you can access the settings and choose class-colored frames, which will apply the class color to every frame. You can further customize these frames, adjusting their size and appearance. Easy focus target, party frames - they all have a uniform look, with names displayed above and customizable name colors. Besides, you can adjust the size of buffs, including font size.

    SexyMap

Onto the next addon, which is called the SexyMap. Simply install it, right-click it, navigate to User-Submitted Presets, and select Faded Square. This is the preset that I prefer and you can choose it too. You can adjust the scale of the map - I recommend use it at 1.1, but you can increase it further if you prefer. You also have the option to lock the map. However, you can also keep it unlocked for easy dragging.

    Rested XP

Another addon frequently requested is the Rested XP, which you may already be familiar with or have installed. If you wish to integrate it seamlessly into your entire UI, simply right-click, navigate to Options, then Look and Feel, and choose Dark Mode by Bypass. Additionally, you can adjust the scale to your preference. This will give your UI a darker appearance.

    Bagnon

Another component of this UI setup is the bag, which can be managed using Bagnon. This addon is popular with many players for its smooth integration and aesthetic appeal. With Bagnon, you can easily customize it to match the rest of your UI. Simply right-click to access the options menu, then choose a skin.

You can adjust the background color to a darker shade and also customize the border color accordingly. This helps the bag seamlessly blend into the overall UI, complementing the square map, guide, and other elements. Bagnon also offers convenient functionality, allowing you to easily check the amount of WoW Cataclysm Classic Gold across different characters and effortlessly rearrange items as needed.

    HidingBar

Another aspect of this UI setup is the map, which you can achieve clean and icon-free by using a tool called HidingBar. With this addon, all the usual map icons are neatly tucked away, providing a clutter-free interface. You can easily customize the placement of the HidingBar by dragging it to your preferred location.

When you hover over the HidingBar, various options such as Looking for Group, Bulletin Board, and Nova World Buffs become available, allowing for quick access to essential features without cluttering the map. Overall, HidingBar helps maintain a clean and unobstructed view while playing the game.

    Leatrix Map

The next one is a beautiful setup - Leatrix Map. In my opinion, it should be a default addon for any WoW Classic player. It's minimalistic, allowing you to zoom in and move it around to your heart's content. Plus, it has a stylish dark theme, but if that's not your style, you can probably customize the color to your liking.

    Leatrix Plus

Another essential addon is Leatrix Plus. It offers a variety of enhancements for your interface. For instance, you can double the size of your Quest Log and Tooltips with just a simple click. You can also customize your Tooltip to attach it to your mouse pointer or to the right of the screen. Leatrix Plus also provides options to display guild ranks of other players and show unit targets' health bars, among other useful features.

Moreover, Leatrix Plus offers additional functionalities such as disabling loot warnings, enabling faster auto-loot, and maximizing camera zoom. You can also fine-tune your chat settings, ensuring a clutter-free interface. These features are invaluable throughout your adventures in the WoW Cataclysm and beyond.

    SpellActivationOverlay

Last, I'll be utilizing an addon known as SpellActivationOverlay, seamlessly integrating it into this UI setup. It proves beneficial for a multitude of classes, enhancing gameplay with its captivating animations. Whether it's Elemental Shamans or any other class, these visual cues ensure you maximize your performance.

  • MLB The Show 24: How To Get An Endless Supply Of Stubs? - Currency Farming Guide

    Posted: May 17, 2024

Stubs are a universal form of currency in MLB The Show 24 that can be used to purchase Perks, Equipment, Show Packs, and even some new Legends directly in the game. So it’s easy to imagine how important it is to earn enough MLB 24 Stubs.

In this guide, we’ll cover a few ways to farm stubs without spending real money. Once you learn these methods, you’ll have an endless supply of stubs.

Before we get into it, I should remind you that this guide focuses on single player modes, but you can also earn Stubs by participating in online competitive modes like Ranked Seasons and Battle Royale. Many of these modes have their own schedules and reward ladders, with stubs being the primary reward.

It should also be mentioned that no matter which mode you play, you’ll get a small amount of MLB The Show 24 Stubs for each inning, so as long as you’re playing, you’ll be earning in-game currency. Of course, you can also invest in Show Packs and Community Market, but be aware that high returns always come with high risks.

What Are MLB 24 Stubs For?

Stubs are the universal currency available in MLB The Show 24, primarily used in Diamond Dynasty. Not only can you use stubs to purchase card packs called Show Packs from Show Shop, but you can also purchase additional player cards from Community Market.

These cards are often based on real MLB players from the past and present, and you can use them when building your Diamond Dynasty team.

    All Ways To Earn Stubs

While purchasing is the quickest and easiest way to earn Stubs in MLB The Show 24, you can still accumulate the currency by playing games.

    Advancing Programs

Programs are progress meters that reward you for playing baseball and completing objectives. There is a main Seasonal Program that rotates every few months. Your progress in the major program is determined by XP, which is earned by playing in all game modes. Many levels in Program reward stubs, which you can use as you wish.

However, these aren’t the only programs in the game that reward stubs. Moments feature short objectives that can be completed in exchange for stubs and rewards, and Player Programs also include stub rewards. You can use these stubs to improve your Ballplayer.

While you can progress through most Programs purely through playing the game, keep an eye out for the missions listed at the bottom of each Program. Make sure you make progress and unlock as many Stubs and Show Packs as possible in the process.

    Complete Moments

Moments are bite-sized gameplay challenges inspired by historical and contemporary baseball events. These challenges can be as simple as striking out a player, or as complex as sending a game into extra innings and getting a walk-off win.

Completing Moments will generally earn your stubs and program progress, as well as additional rewards. To maximize the number of stubs, you get when completing Moments, try to complete a full set of missions. Completing all levels in a given category will also reward you with an additional stub, which you can then use as you wish.

    Achieve Collections

Undoubtedly, the best way to earn stubs without spending money is to complete Collections. When you open Show Packs, your Diamond Dynasty item binder will fill up. You can then tag any cards you collected, earning stubs and rewards.

There are different collections, and completing all the tasks in a single collection will reward you with a large amount of stubs at once for your efforts.

It is important to note that all player cards that enter Collections cannot be sold on Community Market afterwards. So be careful when collecting some cards to sell.

    Winning Showdowns

Showdowns are single-player challenges where you’ll pick your starting lineup and complete Moments to improve your team and unlock perks in the process.

Unlike before, you usually have to spend Stubs to enter a Showdown, but if you succeed, then you’ll easily win back your MLB 24 Stubs and more.

For example, World Baseball Classic Showdown requires 500 Stubs to enter, but completing all the challenges means you’ll get 3,600 Stubs.

    Play Mini Seasons

The exciting Mini Seasons have finally returned in MLB The Show 24. This actually allows you to complete Mini Seasons with other Diamond Dynasty rosters. Although the game is entirely single-player, you don’t have to compete online to complete these games.

The games are divided into three games, and once you complete the regular season, you can enter the playoffs to try to win Mini Seasons championship. There are many Mini Seasons to play this year, and all seasons have unique Team-Building Challenges to add variety to the game.

The rewards for this mode are very good and repeatable, so while you need to play a lot of games, winning Mini Seasons championship will earn you at least 5,000 Stubs, and you can achieve various other objectives to get other in-game rewards.

    Unlock Conquest Maps

Conquest mode in Diamond Dynasty is another great way to maximize the number of Stubs you get.

Each Conquest Map has a list of objectives for you to complete, which usually rewards you with XP and Stubs. As you capture more territory on the map, you’ll also find hidden bonuses that sometimes reward you with Show Packs or Stubs.

One thing to keep in mind is that you should be aware of which objectives can be repeated. Playing some Conquest Maps over and over can reward you with a steady stream of Show Packs and Stubs.

    Investing In Community Market

If you’re bold and careful and keep an eye on the market, investing in Community Market may be the best place for you to earn Stubs.

The key to this strategy is to focus on the price of MLB player cards and use your Stubs to buy cards of decreasing value. If you buy at the right time, you can sell the same card later for a profit.

It’s just a matter of keeping an eye on the average value of player cards over time. Promotions and real-world performance can have an impact on the overall value of a card.

That’s it for this Stub farming guide. Do you have other tips and tricks to help you earn Stubs efficiently and without spending money in MLB The Show 24? If so, share your wealth secrets. Have a great day!

  • Diablo 4 Season 4: Top Strategies For Surviving Higher Levels Of The Pit Of Artificers

    Posted: May 17, 2024

With the Diablo 4 Season 4: Loot Reborn starts only a few days, there are many players curious about how to survive in the newly introduced Pit of Artificers. So, I wanted to make this guide to show you how you can survive in the higher Pit levels, as this will be the new endgame dungeon system.

    Max Armor

Reaching certain breakpoints and caps in your survivability stats is essential, so let's get started with the armor. The armor in Season 4 of Diablo 4 has been completely reworked, and armor is now working pretty much like physical resistance.

All you really need to know is that in the endgame, no matter how high level the monster is, you just need 9,230 armor. And this is also much easier now to achieve since it's very powerful if you're the Juggernaut, you can have additional Armor Affixes on your gear.

But to play the Pit of Artificers dungeon system, it's definitely highly recommended to reach this armor cap again, 85% physical resistance. There is no more monster level scaling. You can fight in the hardest Pit level with 300 monsters, and all you need is 9,230 armor.

    Max Resistances

The next crucial aspect to consider is your resistances. Maxing out your resistances is imperative, aiming for at least 70% in all resistances. There are various methods to boost your resistances.

Instead of stacking all resistances, which are less efficient, we focus on stacking a single resistance roll onto each gear piece. We aim to diversify the resistance types, typically focusing on Lightning and Fire Resistance. You can try to incorporate these resistances wherever possible, whether it's on pants, chest, gloves, or boots. Additionally, gems now provide a 45% boost on resistance.

However, I find pants to be the optimal slot for stacking resistances, as there are usually fewer competing stats. By acquiring double resistance rolls on pants and complementing them with other resistance types like Poison, Shadow, and Cold, you can effectively max out the resistances.

For instance, the pants have a Fire Resistance roll and a Lightning Resistance roll. With the rework, these rolls have become quite substantial, reaching up to 50 Lightning Resistance. Moreover, you can Masterwork and upgrade these rolls further.

Furthermore, the Implicit Affixes on items have been enhanced, with amulets providing more all resistance. Additionally, there are some beneficial Paragon nodes available to further boost your resistances. Achieving a 70% resistance threshold is crucial for your survivability in the Pit.

    High HP

Then, the third thing to pay attention to is your HP. There are numerous ways in the new patch, with the new itemization, to acquire a significant amount of hit points. For example, as a Barbarian player who focused on Thorns, you can have 155,000 health on their Barbarian. And the Masterwork Doombringer provides an additional double Life multiplier, allowing you to reach well over 300,000 Life.

Therefore, I recommend having at least 50,000 Life, especially if you're tackling very high Pit runs. Prioritize Life on your Diablo 4 Items, particularly on defensive pieces. Additionally, as a Barbarian, you can acquire also Life on your weapons. By stacking maximum Life bonuses on various gear pieces, including weapons, you'll increase your base Life.

It's crucial to include Life percentage nodes in the Paragon Board because they provide separate multipliers. So, if you have 10,000 base Life with your gear, and you start multiplying it with nodes providing 2%, 2%, and 4% Life respectively, it scales multiplicatively. The more Life percentage you have, the greater the value you derive from it.

    Damage Reduction

Damage reduction has been significantly altered in Season 4. Previously, players could accumulate various types of damage reduction through armor pieces, but this has been largely removed from rare and Legendary items. Now, substantial damage reduction can mainly be acquired through unique pieces and the Paragon Board.

Additionally, the Flawless Technique provides CLA damage reduction, and there are further reductions from bleeding enemies. By using your Marshal glyph or other glyphs in range, these damage reduction nodes multiply, making your character significantly tankier - potentially 4, 5, or 6 times as much.

Moreover, in the endgame, you have the Harlequin Crest, which grants an extra 20% damage reduction. However, since normal damage reduction is now very limited, it's crucial to prioritize damage reduction nodes on your Paragon Boards. If you find damage reduction on your gear, it's highly valuable to Masterwork them as well. The more damage reduction you have, the better your chances of surviving the Pit.

If you follow these guidelines and stack these 4 different stats - resistances, armor, life, and damage reduction, you can become an unkillable tank in Diablo 4 Season 4!
