  • Elden Ring: A Detailed Guide To This Mind Cthulhu Inspired Build! - Weapons, Incantations, Talismans And More

    Posted: May 17, 2024

In preparation for Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC coming on June 21, 2024, I built a fantastic starter build, a Cthulhu Inspired build that will melt all aliens. In this guide, we’ll talk about everything you need to know to build this mind build. Without further ado, let’s take a quick look at the summary of this build.

    Overview

Starting with the traits, aka the things that define this build. This is either a Strength/Faith/Arcane build or Dexterity/Faith/Arcane, depending on the weapons you decide to stick with.

Since you can’t make monsters in this game disappear just by thinking about them, the next best thing would be Madness status effect. This means this build uses Frenzied Flame Incantations.

To complement the mind theme, it uses weapons with power of mind attacks, namely Regalia of Eochaid and Marais Executioner’s Sword. Then I will try to make it as powerful as possible without detracting from the theme.

Now for the pros. What I can say is that the best thing about this build is the damage, it’s ridiculously high! If you manage to use the weapon skills in this build when the enemy leaves a gap. Besides that, its spells also do a ton of damage, especially the ones used at a distance.

Now let’s look at the cons of this build. First of all, I would like to say that this is a build that works best in New Game+ and above. You can try it on New Game, but the problem is that it is very harsh in the early game because the lack of some early attribute points leads to low damage to early weapons.

And its Madness status effect is almost useless in PVE. But luckily, most build up Madness’ spells also deal fire damage, so the spell itself is not useless.

Also, the armor sets of this build don’t provide a lot of poise, so that’s another aspect that this build lacks. And Sacred Seal and some Talismans take a while to get, and some can even be obtained only on New Game+.

Because of all these cutbacks on this build, it is not beginner friendly. This is indeed a build that requires some gaming knowledge, even if you have experience playing Soul-like games.

    Weapons

With the basics out of the way, let’s take a look at the weapons I chose for this build.

We’ll start with the weapon you can get your hands on as quickly as possible, which is Regalia of Eochaid. With this weapon, the stat points will be focused on Dexterity instead of Strength. You only need 12 points of Strength to use it, and then the rest of the build will focus on Dexterity, Faith and Arcane.

The most interesting part of this weapon, of course, is its skill, Eochaid’s Dancing Blade, which is where most of the weapon’s damage comes from. This skill can be charged up to increase damage and attack range.

Beyond that, you can also deal even more damage with another weapon that has almost the same name, but is slower. I present to you Marais Executioner’s Sword.

It works exactly the same as Regalia of Eochaid, but it’s a Greatsword. The skills are the same, it works the same, and it’s used the same way. But if you’re going to use it, the stat points should be focused on Strength instead of Dexterity. You only need 14 Dexterity to use it.

    Incantations

Now let’s check out the other part of this build that deals damage, namely Incantations. Start with the obvious: Golden Vow and Flame Grant Me Strength. These are the two support incantations for this build. There’s a third one, which I’ll talk about soon.

Golden Vow increases all sources of damage by 15% and increases damage resistance to all types of damage by 10%. To get it, you need to go to Corpse-Stench Shack in Mt Gelmir. It’s on a corpse inside a shack. Note that when you get close to the shack, an NPC will invade you, but you can rush in and grab it before she appears on the map.

Another support incantation is Flame Grant Me Strength, which combines perfectly with Golden Vow. But it works better in builds that deal fire damage, as it increases this damage by 20%. It’s located behind Fort Gael in Caelid. You can get it early, as it only requires 15 Faith to cast.

Now let’s look at Frenzied Flame Incantations that this build requires. This is an area of effect incantation. When cast, the user will eject a very erratic fireball from their eyes in front of them. As such, it is best used against large enemies or enormous groups, especially when they are not moving fast.

    Sacred Seals

Now, let’s move on to Sacred Seals that should be used in this build. This is a fairly simple Seal, Frenzied Flame Seal. As it boosts the damage of Frenzied Flame Incantations by 20%.

To make the most of it, you should get a second one on New Game+, as using two Seals together increases the boost by 40%.

It is one of the best Seals to have early in the game and is fairly easy to get. If you start with a class other than Prophet or Confessor, you can easily buy this seal from Twin Maiden Husks for Elden Ring Runes.

    Talismans

Speaking of Talismans, we need to split them into two different sets. One for weapons, and one for more focused spells.

For weapons, Talismans I recommend are: Winged Sword Insignia/Rotten Winged Sword Insignia, Millicent’s Prosthesis, Warrior Jar Shard/Shard of Alexander and Godfrey Icon. These three Talismans focus on increasing the damage of consecutive hits.

Now, we are going to check Talismans to equip when using spells, including: Fire Scorpion Charm, Faithful’s Canvas and Flock’s Canvas. They can greatly increase the damage caused by this build.

The above is all you need to know about assembling this build. Its high damage and fun gameplay experience will leave you with impressive memories in Shadow of the Erdtree DLC!

  • Elden Ring: The Best Places To Farm Crescent Moon Axe Efficiently!

    Posted: May 15, 2024

In preparation for Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, which releases on June 21st of this year, I created a great starter build to get a head start on getting into the new expansion, and that’s Maelstrom Rogue Build. But the one weapon you need to complete this build is Crescent Moon Axe.

Crescent Moon Axe is a melee weapon in Elden Ring that has great synergy with Maelstrom Rogue. But it is not easy to obtain this weapon. In this guide, we’ll go over a few locations to farm Crescent Moon and provide some tips on how to make things easier so that your farming process is less harmful to your health.

    Crescent Moon Axe Drop Location

This weapon is only dropped by one type of enemy, they are large variants of Exile Soldiers, and they are very rare throughout the game, only appearing in Stormveil Castle and Castle Sol. While these farming spots worked and didn’t take that long, I was wondering if there was a more efficient way. So I investigated these two locations in particular.

To my surprise, I discovered a unique location on Castle Sol that wasn’t covered by any of the locations I’d seen before. So this guide not only covers this location but also the former locations for those looking for this weapon early on.

    Stormveil Castle

The first location is right in the middle of Stormveil Castle, on the map. When you arrive at this hall with patrolling Grafted Scion, there is an obvious doorway to the west, where you will find a passage locked by fog that can be opened with a Stoneword Key.

After going down the stairs, clues will lead you to Armory, where there are two large Exile Soldiers that drop Crescent Moon Axe.

    Farming Tips

Now, I want to share some tips about farming in this location.

First, start at Rampart Tower Site of Grace. Note, instead of taking the elevator down, go outside and look for this tilted tile, which you can use as a guide to jump to the roof below.

Now, look for the two rats and a lone Exile Soldier. You need to get to where the soldiers are. To do this, first jump to the edge of this wall on the roof, then jump to where the rat is. You’ll take fall damage, but not much. But if you have more Elden Ring Runes, purchasing some consumables can make you safer while exploring.

Regardless of whether you deal with the rats or not, you need to look for the wooden platform where the soldiers are and get down from there. Go through the doorway and you’ll enter the Armory with two tall Exile Soldiers.

Now, there are two ways to get back, depending on whether you use Silver-Pickled Fowl Foot. If not, you can simply open the map and fast travel to Rampart Tower Site of Grace, then repeat the process.

But if you use Silver-Pickled Fowl Foot and don’t want to lose the boost, take the stairs up, turn right, and then turn again for the shortcut elevator. It will take you back to Rampart Tower Site of Grace. Just don’t forget to send it down when you reach the top.

    Castle Sol

The second option is at Castle Sol. It’s located in the last indoor area before the boss arena. This is the most efficient option. But this place is only accessible at the end of the game. So this is the best option for high-level characters to farm Crescent Moon Axe.

If you want to get this weapon in the next New Game or something similar, then this must be for you. There are no gimmicks or hidden paths here. It’s very straightforward.

Then start from Church of the Eclipse Site of Grace and follow the south until you find the building in front of the church exit. Don’t go under the stairs as this will trigger some enemies. Instead, head straight for the stairs, turn left and walk a few steps.

Note that there is an Albinauric hanging from the ceiling here, which emits hatred and screams, causing two giant Exile Soldiers to spawn. As soon as he screams, turn around and quickly kill Exile Soldier that appears around the corner, then turn around and kill the second soldier closer to you.

You’ll find a regular Exile Soldier at the back stairs, but you can ignore him. While he can be a little annoying in throwing grenades, it’s still much better than other soldier variants. So, you just kill two Exile Soldiers and run back to Site of Grace and repeat, as it’s not one hit of the soldiers that will drop this weapon.

It’s that simple. On average, it takes about 36 seconds to run to a farming site, defeat two Exile Soldiers, and run back to Site of Grace. If you have access to Mountaintops of the Giants, it’s the most efficient place to farm Crescent Moon Axe. However, you need to be at least level 100 to enter. Therefore, if you want to farm it early, you can only do so in Stormveil Castle.

That’s all we have for Farming Crescent Moon Axe. I hope you found this guide helpful and good luck!

  • Elden Ring: What Do We Need To Do For Strength Faith Build? - Inferno Paladin Build Guide

    Posted: May 13, 2024

This is an Elden Ring Paladin build that doesn't revolve around holy damage. So it's going to be viable through the entire game. You're going to do an immense amount of damage with this build. And I was super surprised by it. So I'm hoping you are going to enjoy it.

Before we get in, I would like to remind you that investing enough Elden Ring Runes will make your building journey much smoother.

    How The Build Works?

Let me show you exactly what we're working with. Everything that how the build works you're seeing here is recorded on a New Game 6+.

And I am currently level 170, however there is nothing in this build that makes it a new game plus build so a level 150 will be very viable for this, but this is an absolutely phenomenal build.

And we are going to focus on Flame and Flame Incantations as well as pumping out an absolutely absurd amount of fire damage. Especially, when it comes to massive enemies, we are going to be using Cranial Vessel Candlestand. I have been super surprised by this weapon.

Because first of all, I didn't even realize it existed much less than I had it sitting in my inventory. So I wanted to make a build with this and I think you guys are really going to enjoy it. This is going to focus on using Surge of Faith Ash of War on Cranial Vessel Candlestand in order to make a huge explosion of Flame and Fire Damage causing a devastating effect on your enemy.

And the surrounding area we're going to boost that damage as much as possible. We have a great selection of Talismans here for you as well in order to make sure you're doing as much damage with Incantations and Ash of War as humanly possible. We are going to be having that Great Hammers Moveset with this weapon. And it is one of the better Movesets in the game.

In my opinion, Drip is a point. The damage is phenomenal.

    Talismans

So let's go ahead and jump right into Talisman's. So you Talismans can see how this build is going to synergy. For Talisman of this build, we have Shard of Alexander, Fire Scorpion Charm, Old Lord's Talisman as well as Godfrey Icon. Now I'm going to explain what each one of these does and why I've chosen these Talisman for the build.

Shard of Alexander is going to give our Surge of Faith a 15% damage increase whenever we use it. So having more damage in a build is always ideal and the same goes for our number two Talisman.

Fire Scorpion Charm because that's going to boost our damage with fire damage by 12% but it is going to make us take 10% more damage. However, this is not a problem at all because we typically kill everybody before we can even take damage.

So it isn't an issue moving on to our third Talisman. We are using Old Lord's Talisman as stated before we are using some Buffs for this build. Flame grants me Strength and Golden Vow, just to name two of them but with Flame grant me Strength only lasting 30 seconds.

Old Lord Tailsman is going to make all Buffs last for 33% longer but that being said, we typically kill everybody in a boss fight before we even get to that 30 second Mark. This is just a nice cushion when you're out in the open world.

And finally, for our fourth Talisman. We are using Godfrey Icon. This is going to enhance Charged Skills and Spells. And a lot of our Incantations are going to be charged, which is why I have this in slot number. For having that extra damage is always going to be nice in all of these Talisman synergize to give us a really solid amount of extra damage for this build.

Shard of Alexander can be located in Alexander's Questline at the end of the game. You guys can check that out and Fire Scorpion Charm is going to be located in Fort Laiedd right here. On the map top of one of the ramp parts, Old Lords Talisman is going to be located at the very end of the game in Farum Azula right here on the map.

And if you want Godfrey Icon, then you need to travel up to Altus's Plateau and hit the first ever Jail that you see Golden Lineage ever jail.

    Weapons

Now, as far as our actual Weapons and Seal obviously, we're Weapons using Cranial Vessel Candlestand. This can be found all the way up in Mountaintops of Giants almost right when you get into them.

But it's going to be located in Giant-Conquering Hero's Grave at the very end on top of a Corpse. But this weapon is absolutely phenomenal. It is going to be a Great Hammerand we are using Surge of Faith.

It's Ash of War, its physical damage is going to be 240 plus 221 and its fire damage is going to be 240 plus 202. All of this is going to be buffed with. Flame grant me Strength and Golden Vow allowing our damage to go even higher.

And these Strength and Faith Scaling of this weapon are absolutely incredible with a Strength Scaling of B and a Faith Scaling of B and a decently low requirement to use at 26 Strength and 22 Faith.

This weapon is definitely going to be one of the better weapons in my opinion, when it comes to Fire Damage now. As far as our Seal goes, we are going to be using Giant Seal because it's going to give us a 20% increase to our giant Flame Incantations. And we are using quite a few of those. It also has a Faith scaling of S and some very decent Incantation Scaling at 273.

So overall, we're going to get some really solid damage to our Incantations from using this particular Seal. Now this Seal is also going to be found in Giant Conquering Hero's Grave right here on the map, just like Candlestand was. So you can get two, for one deal when you go into that Dungeon.

    Flask

Now as far as your Flask of Wondrous Physick, it is going to go with this build. If you want to use Flame-Shrouding Cracked here, it's going to give us a 20% increase to our Fire Damage. This is also going to stack with Flame Grant Me Strength and also Fire Scorpion Charm giving us somewhere above 54% increased fire damage with this build which is incredible.

And the second you want to use is going to be Strength not Crystal Tear. This Tear is going to boost our Strength by 10 when we use it, so it's going to give us a total of 60 Strength for the build. And we'll also have 60 Faith for the build giving us a really solid damage point. To jump off from Strength not Crystal Tear. It is going to be located right here in Limgrave within a small Altar on a cliff side.

If you're trying to get Flame-Shrouding Crack Tear, this will be located in Caelid after killing Putrid Avatar and east of Smoldering Church right.

    Incantations

Here now, before we jump into the stats. I do want to go over Incantations. We are using Incantations and two Buff Incantations as well as four damage Incantations which I feel go very well with this build. And they're going to cause you to do a lot of damage. Those damage Incantations are going to be caught Flame Fall Upon Them, Burn O flame as well as Giantsflame Take Thee for our Buff Spells.

We have Flame Grant Me Strength and Golden Vow. Both those Spells together are going to combine, allowing you to get a 15% damage negation buff as well as a 35% increased physical damage buff with 20% increase to you. Fire Damage Flame Grant Strength is going to be located at Fort Gael right between two Fire Chariots behind Fort.

If you want to snag golden Vow, it's going to be up here in Mt. Gelmir right at Corpse-Stench Shack catch Flame can either be a starting class Incantation for the profit. Or you can buy it from Corhyn Roundtable hold. And if you snag Giant’s Prayer Book located in Mountaintops of Giants right here, you're going to be able to use Flame Fall Upon Them, Burn O Fame as well as Giantsflame Take Thee.

    Stats

And lastly we have the stats for the build, so we are going stats to be using a level 170 build as I said. We're going to have 50 Vigor, 25 Mind, 30 Endurance Strength is going to be at 50, 18 Dexterity, 9 Intelligence, 60 Faith, and Arcane at 7. All these stats together are going to give you a really solid damage point for your build.

And I've really enjoyed playing to Lands Between so far. And guys there we have it that is going to be it for Inferno Paladin build. I am super pumped about this one. I definitely enjoyed playing through Lands between with it and I definitely hope you will as well.

  • Elden Ring: A Brief Guide To Farm This Grossmesser Sword - Farming Locations & Tips

    Posted: Apr 29, 2024

Grossmesser is a Curved Sword in Elden Ring. Compared to other weapons, its advantage lies in its Spinning Slash skill, which allows you to spin and attack many enemies at the same time. It works great, and the good news is its easy to find.

In this short guide, I’ll show you the best way to farm Grossmesser Sword. First, I’ll quickly show you where to get it, and then I’ll give you some tips on how to make it easier if you’re interested too. With the help of this legendary Curved Sword, your builds will reach the next level!

    Grossmesser Stats

Grossmesser is powerful, dealing a lot of physical damage, and has a decent critical hit chance. It becomes stronger with Strength and Dexterity scaling. To use it, you need 14 Strength and 12 Dexterity.

    Best Farming Location

The best place to farm Grossmesser Sword is Tombsward Catacombs on Weeping Peninsula. You need a Stonesword Key to open the passage behind Sites of Grace.

Next, you’ll enter this room with two skeletons: the one closest to the room’s entrance wields a Falchion, and the second one further into the room wields and can drop a Grossmesser.

So all you have to do is simply rest at Sites of Grace, run into the unlocked room, and kill the evil skeleton wielding Grossmesser. But this won’t necessarily drop Curved Sword immediately. If not, you need to run back to Sites of Grace and rest on it, then do it all over again until you get Grossmesser. It’s that simple.

I mean, aside from the super low drop rate of 2%, it’s actually pretty easy. There is no better place to farm this weapon later in the game. This is also the quickest method I’ve found when looking for a double Grossmesser for a future build.

Read More: These 3 Underrated Builds Will Make You Unstoppable In Elden Ring Shadow Of The Erdtree DLC!

    Farming Tips

Now let me tell you how to cut down on this tedious grinding and reduce the harm to your health.

    Use Holy Damage

The first tip is to use Holy damage against these skeletons. Holy damage is extremely effective against the undead, and when skeletons are killed by Holy damage, it will also prevent them from resurrecting.

Because of this, there is a powerful and easily obtained Ash of War that can help you complete this task effortlessly. It is Sacred Blade. This Ash of War is dropped by Scarab, which is located a little north of Third Church of Marika in Limgrave.

This can be used with almost any type of weapon except Claws, Fists, Bows and Crossbows. So infuse Ash of War into your weapons to increase the speed at which you destroy evil skeletons.

Get Items That Increase Your Drop Rate

Fortunately, there are two items in Elden Ring that actually increase item drop rates, making it easier for us to obtain Grossmesser.

The first item is called Silver-Pickled Fowl Foot, which is classified as a consumable item and increases the item discovery rate by 50 points for three minutes. Another item is Silver Scarab, which is a Talisman that players can wear.

I personally think Silver Scarab is slightly better than Silver-Pickled Fowl Foot, increasing the item discovery rate by 75 points. It can also be put on and taken off at any time. This means that whenever players want to take down an enemy, all they need to do is to equip Talisman. Then, when they’re done tilling, they can take it off.

If you have enough Elden Ring Runes and don’t want to spend the time crafting them, you can purchase Silver-Pickled Fowl Foot directly from Twin Maiden Husks at Roundtable Hold. Players will need to kill as many enemies as possible during the three minutes the item is active to take full advantage of the increased drop rate.

But to find Silver Scarab, players need to go all the way to Grand Lift of Rold in Forbidden Lands. From here, players need to enter Hidden Path to the Haligtree, which is located near Site of Grace that players used to get to Consecrated Snowfields. You can find it in a chest on Hidden Path to the Haligtree.

That’s it for this guide. Wish you good luck in your farming endeavors!

  • Elden Ring: These 3 Dexterity-Centric Builds Are Absolutely Insane!

    Posted: Apr 27, 2024

Welcome all gamers! I'll be presenting my selection of the 3 best dexterity builds in Elden Ring in this guide. These builds will not only provide you with an exciting gaming experience, but also significantly enhance your damage output on the battlefield. Let’s take a closer look!

    Hand Of Malenia Build

The first build we have is the Hand of Malenia build, and it absolutely shreds. Everything about this build is interesting and the ash of war is incredible. The dexterity is almost maxed out with this build, and overall, you're going to have an easy time. You don't have to just spam the ash of war because the weapon does very decent physical damage and has an excellent dexterity scaling.

One thing when using this build is that you don't want to build around the Blood Loss. This weapon doesn't build up Blood Loss very quickly, as the ash of war doesn't build up Blood Loss on every single hit. There's also a large amount of Hyper armor when you're in the ash of war, at least for the first part when you jump up into the air and you're about to start Waterfowl Dance.

The only negative I would say about this weapon is you really can't get it until the very end of the game after you defeat Malenia. We'll be using the Hand of Malenia Katana and also be using Okina Mask for extra dexterity. For your talisman, you use the Shard of Alexander, the Millicent's Prosthesis, the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia, and the Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman.

For your flask, you use the Dexterity-knot Crystal Tear and the Thorny Cracked Tear. All you have to do is raise your dexterity up a bit and then take away the Arcane and put it into faith so you can equip Flame Grime, Strength, and Golden Vow for extra physical damage and damage negation.

    Godskin Peeler Build

The next build is the Godkin Peeler build. This is an excellent dexterity weapon with phenomenal scaling and strong damage. We also using the TwinBlade to allow you to get that jump attack moveset very easily. We’ve also paired this build with a Frost ash of war, so we’re getting some phenomenal deck damage and some Frost proccing, allowing us to get 20% extra damage on our enemy.

All the talismans and the flask synergize incredibly well together, and the build just performs well. Not only do you get that great jump attack damage, but also the dual Twinblade moveset of just hitting a normal light attack with both of them is absolutely phenomenal. You build up your successive attacks very quickly, you’re able to pour out a ton of damage.

As we’re using the Godkin Peeler, we have the Spinning Slash ash of war, but also Repeating Thrust works incredibly well. We’re also using the Twinblade for our second weapon of this build. We’re going to be using the Raptor’s Black Feathers for your jump attacks. Then you’ll use the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia, the Shard of Alexander, the Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman, and the Claw Talisman.

When it comes to your buffs, you want to use Flame Grant Me, Strength, and Golden Vow. And for our flask, we’re going to have the Thorny Cracked Tear and the Opaline Bubbletear. This is a Level 170 build, and the majority of what you’re putting stuff into is going to be dexterity, vigor, and endurance.

    Lighting Nagakiba Build

For our last build, we are going to be sticking with a Katana theme, and this is going to be a Lightning Nagakiba build. We're going to be using talismans that help us proc our successive attacks, and this build is going to be a ton of fun to play, allowing you to do a good amount of damage. We have some great talismans for this build.

The build performs incredibly well, and with the in-game bosses, there really wasn't a problem at all doing enough damage to them. The Nagakiba has an excellent advantage when it comes to its range as it's the longest Katana in Elden Ring, and it definitely helps this build out.

This weapon is going to have a great dexterity scaling, and it's also going to have some great physical damage, especially with the Katana moveset. As fast as you can get these attacks off, you're going to be pouring out damage like crazy, and you're going to have a great time with this particular build.

We have the Nagakiba with the Spinning Slash ash of war. For your talisman, you have the Erdtree's Favor +2, the Shard of Alexander, the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia, and the Lightning Scorpion Charm. For your flask, you're going to have the Thorny Cracked Tear and the Lightning-Shrouding Crack Tear. And for your buff, we have Flame Grant me, Strength, Golden Vow, and Electrify Armament.

  • Elden Ring: Master These Key Tips To Help You Farm Executioner’s Greataxe Effortlessly

    Posted: Apr 22, 2024

Executioner’s Greataxe is an important weapon in Elden Ring, primarily scaling with Strength and Dexterity. Its skill War Cry gives the user the ability to temporarily increase attack power. While active, power attacks become charge attacks.

This weapon is uncommon and only has a 4% drop rate. So in this guide, I’m going to show you where to farm this Greataxe and give you some tips on how to make things easier so that your farming process is less harmful to your health.

    Farming Spot

Closer to home, the best place to farm this weapon is actually in the middle of nowhere in Liurnia of the Lakes. To make it easier for you to find this location, look for South Raya Lucaria Gate Site of Grace.

Then zoom in and try to align your cursor with Site of Grace or the bridge, and look slightly to the right at this location, which shows a tree and a small box with an X inside, which is actually a collapsed tower. Mark it on the map and get close to it.

Once you get close to the tree and these tombstones, some Evil Skellies will appear from the ground.

Now pay close attention to the next instructions: look for the taller skeleton. He is the one who dropped Executioner’s Greataxe. Kill him and wait to see if he drops anything. If no weapons are dropped, you have to let the other skeletons kill you.

Since Stakes of Marika is very close to this place. So when prompted, you just need to choose to respawn at Stakes of Marika.

You spawn already facing where the skeleton is. You just need to walk a few steps or ride the torrent and kill the big skeleton again. That’s it. It’s simple once you know the location.

What’s not simple is that the chance of dropping this Executioner’s Greataxe is only 4%. It took me 32 minutes to drop the first one. So you need to be prepared.

    Farming Tips

Now I’ll give you some tips on how to make it more efficient.

    Increase Holy Damage

First, let’s exploit the weakness of the skeleton that drops Executioner’s Greataxe. These types of enemies have weaknesses to two types of damage: Strike and Holy, making them very vulnerable to damage.

The easiest way to deal Holy damage, no matter what Rune Level character is or what build you are using, is to use Ash of War Sacred Blade. It can be used on any type of weapon except Fists, Claws, Whips, Bows and Crossbows.

To obtain it, go to Third Church of Marika in Limgrave. Once there, head north. On the way up, there is a Scarab that you can kill to get Ash of War Sacred Blade. Infuse it into your weapon and set the affinity to Sacred, and you’re ready to melt those Evil Skellies.

    Equip Mace

Now for weapons, any weapon that deals attack damage will do. But if you don't have one, the easiest one to get is Mace, which you can buy at Twin Maiden Husks with Elden Ring Runes. You just need to rest at a Site of Grace and Melina will take you there.

    Improve Item Discovery Value

The next tip is to increase Item Discovery value of your character. But this farming location has a catch with this trick: it only works on mid to late game characters.

This is because a consumable item that boosts your character Item Discovery, Silver-Pickled Fowl Foot, is not recommended for use here. Because every time you are killed, the boost disappears. So it can get expensive quickly.

But for mid-end game characters, you can equip Silver Scarab Talisman and Rebirth at Rennala to increase your Arcane level.

    Properly Allocate Skill Points

Here comes the final tip. When respawning, first add the requirements for the weapons that need to be used, then raise Arcane to the highest possible level. If you still have points left, add Faith to increase Holy damage. Finally, don't put a little bit on Vigor so your health is as low as possible so you can get killed by skeletons faster.

That’s all. I hope this guide was useful to you. Hurry up and try it out and create your best build with this Greataxe!

  • Elden Ring: The Best One-Shot Build To Enter Shadow Of The Erdtree DLC! - Dragonborn Blood Mage

    Posted: Apr 15, 2024

In this guide, I’ll be bringing you the strongest build in Elden Ring, Dragonborn Blood Mage. It can do everything the typical Lightning One Shot God Build and Scavenger’s Curved Sword Bleed Build can do.

In addition, we’ve also added One Shot Spell for each damage type, which allows you to target the weak point of any boss in Elden Ring with this build.

This is also the best build to start Shadow of the Erdtree DLC as it has no weaknesses. You can easily one-shot anything with very little buff within the safety of Blood Mage, and you can also use bleed weapons and play melee meta play style. I’m sure this will go down as the most powerful overall build in Elden Ring history.

    Stats & Starting Class

Before we get started, we’ll go over the stats and starting classes I recommend for this build.

Right now, the optimal class to achieve these stats at level 150 is Bandit. Also, keep in mind that some of these stats are flexible and you can adjust them as needed.

    • Vigor 50
    • Mind 15
    • Endurance 19
    • Strength 9
    • Dexterity 14
    • Intelligence 9
    • Faith 33
    • Arcane 80

    Weapons

Next, let’s look at weapons first, as this is pretty unique in terms of the weapon choices it gives you.

The most important weapon in this build will be Dragon Communion Seal. This Seal increases the damage of Dragon Communion Incantations by 15%.

If you want a taste of melee combat, based on these stats, I recommend grabbing Dual Scavenger’s Curved Swords. This item is now just loot on a corpse in Mt Gelmir, but a Grafted Scion guards it. To defeat this Field Boss, spending Elden Ring Runes on decent equipment is crucial.

Since you can only grab one per game, unless you have a friend to give you a second, I recommend grabbing Bandit’s Curved Sword in your off-hand. The easiest way to get this weapon is to farm it from Skeletal Bandits next to Church of Pilgrimage, so you can get this very early.

Now, since this is also a Curved Sword, it shares a move set with Scavenger’s Curved Sword, which includes jumping multi-attack, running multi-attack, and a fast double hit L1 spam.

It’s also important to note that you can always use Jellyfish Shield. It’s just some jellyfish ground loot on a broken carriage, and its Contagious Fury skill will increase all damage by 20% for 30 seconds.

    Spells

Now, let’s talk about spells and skills, as this gives this build the versatility to solve everything in the game in one shot.

First off, Dragonmaw is cool because it’s a physical damage skill that you can buy instantly with a Dragon Heart from Cathedral of Dragon Communion.

Agheel’s Flame is another significant item you can get early on. All you need to do is kill Flying Dragon Agheel and purchase this spell from Cathedral of Dragon Communion. This will cost you two Dragon Hearts, but then it will grant you his Firebreather attack.

Now, for enemies with fire damage but weak magic, I recommend Smarag’s Glintstone Breath. All you need to do is kill Smarag west of Academy, and you can purchase it for two Dragon Hearts. This is very similar to Agheel’s Flame, but it will be a breath attack based on magic damage.

Ekzykes’s Decay isn’t just a spell that applies Scarlet Rot, it’s also capable of dealing massive physical damage. All you need to do is kill Ekzykes and purchase it with two Dragon Hearts.

Dragonclaw is another spell that can be purchased at any time from Cathedral of Dragon Communion. It only costs one heart and is a very cool spell that has an immediate follow-up attack. It has great AOE and is good for exploration. But for bosses, Dragonmaw is probably better.

    Armor

For armor, I don’t think you can find a better armor set for a dragon theme build than this.

I used Scaled Greaves because they give us 20 poise and they go together surprisingly well. Veteran’s Gauntlets gave 8 poise and also matched very well. Drake Knight Armor is always our only choice for chest armor, it provides 19 poise. Then the 4 poise on Skeletal Mask pushes us to the 51 poise breakpoint.

Like I said, I don’t think you can get to 51 poise and find a set of armor that looks better than this one.

    Buffs

One of the most attractive parts of this build is that you only need very few buffs to do incredible damage. I used about 2 or 3 buffs for most of the game.

The first is Golden Vow, which is a staple in any incantation caster build. This increases all damage by 15% and damage negation by 10% for 80 seconds.

You can then pick up Howl of Shabriri in the chest on the second floor of Frenzy-Flaming Tower. This is why we need at least 33 Faith when building, which increases all damage by 25% for 40 seconds. This is a huge damage boost and lasts a long time.

If you need to squeeze an extra 5% damage out of any physical dragon spells, Bloodboil Aromatic will increase all physical damage by 30%.

    Outro

The fact that this build can use both these and highly scaling spells makes it the strongest overall build in Elden Ring. With this build, we can use One Shot Spell at such a high-level that we can safely kill all the bosses in the game. So, hurry up and try it out!

  • Elden Ring: How To Find Ultimate Godslayer’s Greatsword To Prepare For Shadow Of The Erdtree?

    Posted: Apr 08, 2024

Welcome to my ultimate guide to Elden Ring Godslayer’s Greatsword! In this guide, I’ll walk you through a no-leveling up method to easily obtain the powerful Godslayer’s Greatsword while amassing over 200,000 runes.

If you’ve been trying to defeat the mighty Godskin Apostle in Divine Tower of Caelid to get this legendary weapon, you’re in luck! With my step-by-step guide, you’ll learn the easiest way to defeat Godskin Apostle and claim Godslayer’s Greatsword for yourself, all without upgrading your character.

Also, I’ll show you how to optimize your route to efficiently collect necessary items and gear, including Gold-Pickled Fowl Foot, Fevor’s Cookbook, and Albinauric Mask. Find these items and you'll be better equipped to face future challenges and win.

But that’s not all. By following my guide, you will also accumulate over 200,000 Elden Ring Runes, ensuring you are fully prepared for your adventures in Shadow of the Erdtree. Whether you’re a seasoned Elden Ring veteran or a newbie, this guide has something for everyone. So, let’s get started.

    Collect Essential Items

In order to achieve this without upgrading, I had to start with Prophet.

    Gold-Pickled Fowl Foot

After getting Torrent from Melina, our first goal is to get two Gold-Pickled Fowl Foot, which will increase the number of runes you get by 30%.

One of them is located on the beach, and you can easily descend there via the vent near the first step of Sites of Grace. And the second one will be on top of a hill on the map.

    Fevor’s Cookbook

After that, we need to get Fevor’s Cookbook to make Sleep Pot. You can definitely do this without a Sleep Pot, but in the spirit of speeding things up and making it safer, we’re going to use them.

Dectus Medallion (Left) & Morning Star & Poison Mist Incantation

Then, head to Fort Haight and pick up the left half of Dectus Medallion. Afterwards, we’ll pick up Morning Star Hammer from Broken Caravan here. Not far away, you can also get Poison Mist Incantation from Teardrop Scarab.

    Blood Grease Enchants

In the cemetery near Church of Pilgrimage, you can pick up 2 Blood Grease enchants.

Now, head to Third Church of Marika and use the portal behind to teleport to Caelid’s Bestial Sanctum. Ride all the way south through the vent behind Minor Erdtree to reach Fort Faroth.

    Beast-Repellent Torch

You can choose whether to take the next step based on your own situation. You can purchase Beast-Repellent Torch from Isolated Merchant on the map. This will scare away wild animals like rats and snails from fighting you.

Dectus Medallion (Right) & Radagon’s Soreseal Talisman

Once inside Fort Faroth, we can obtain the right half of Dectus Medallion and Radagon’s Soreseal Talisman.

    Dragon Hearts

Now, equip Morning Star Hammer, Talisman, enchant your weapon with Blood Grease, and start attacking the big white dragon. Don’t forget to refresh the loot Grease on your weapon, and before it dies, use a Gold-Pickled Fowl Foot, so you will be rewarded with nearly 100,000 runes and 5 Dragon Hearts.

    Rotten Breath Incantation

Then go to Cathedral of Dragon Communion, interact with the altar, and purchase Rotten Breath incantation with a Dragon Heart.

    Volcano Manor Invitation

Now, head to Stormhill Shack in Limgrave and bypass Stormveil Castle to enter Liurnia of the Lakes region. Talk to Raya on the map and she will ask you to retrieve her necklace. Purchase her necklace from Blackguard Big Boggart and return it to her to receive an invitation to Volcano Manor.

    Albinauric Mask

Now, use Grand Lift of Dectus to enter Altus Plateau. Once you exit the lift, you will see Raya. If she’s not there, you can find her on the map near Erdtree-Gazing Hill Site of Grace.

She will take you to Volcano Manor, where you can talk to Tanith and receive Drawing-Room Key. Use this key in the first room on the right and follow the route.

This way, we get Albinauric Mask and be able to use Rotten Breath without investing any points in Arcane.

    Sleep Pots

Now, we haven’t made any Sleep Pots yet. Go to Church of Elleh and buy the crafting kit and 3 Cracked Pots from the merchant. You can also purchase another Cracked Pot from the merchant near Castle Morne Rampart Site of Grace.

    Collecting Mushroom And Trina’s Lily

The ingredients for making Sleep Pot are Mushroom and Trina’s Lily. Head to Folly on the Lake Site of Grace, then head north to pick up plenty of Mushrooms.

If you walk south from the same spot, you’ll eventually reach the exchange near the village of Albinaurics, where you’ll find about 11 Trina’s Lilies available for picking. Remember, Mushrooms will spawn every time you rest at any Site of Grace, but Lilies will not.

Go To Divine Tower Of Caelid

Now we are ready to face Godskin Apostle. Go to Divine Tower of Caelid and find the way there. Once you reach the basement, make sure you have Rotten Breath and Poison Mist equipped, but you’ll need a seal to use them. You can purchase the seal from Twin Maiden Husk.

    Defeat Godskin Apostle

Finally, we come to the boss battle with Godskin Apostle.

Once inside, go left and hide behind the pillar. But many say the boss even attacks them from behind pillars. To prevent this from happening, keep running into the corners, forcing the boss back every time he gets close.

Once you see him paddling back, go out and spray Rotten Breath on him. Wait until he paddles back again and throws a Sleep Pot at him, then gets close and cast Poison Mist, causing poison and rot damage over time effects.

As you can see, he doesn’t wake up from the damage over time. When he wakes up and the damage over time effect wears off, do Rotten Breath twice like the first time, then throw another Sleep Pot and cast a Poison Mist.

Don’t forget, before he dies, make sure to use another Gold-Pickled Fowl Foot to get more runes.

If you’ve followed the guide so far, you’ll end up with over 200,000 runes and the powerful Godslayer’s Greatsword. Best of all, we did this without upgrading at all. I hope you enjoyed this little guide to get Godslayer’s Greatsword. Have a beautiful day!

  • Elden Ring: A Detailed Guide On How To Make A Guts-Inspired Berserker Build For DLC

    Posted: Apr 07, 2024

Today, we have a Berserker build for you inspired by Guts for Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, characterized by nothing but pure power and brutal damage. We’re going to delve into whether this build holds up in PvP fights.

You’re going to be using a few items and weapons in order to stack your Roar damage as high as possible, and then absolutely blitz your enemy with heavy charged R2s. It takes a bit of timing to get charged R2s down because the Ashes of War that you’re going to have on the greatsword is Braggart’s Roar, and that completely changes your heavy R2 moveset.

    Talismans

The first thing we’re going to look at is the talismans because these are very important for how the build actually works. Starting off, we have the Roar Medallion. This is going to enhance Braggard’s Roar by 15%, causing you to increase your damage overall.

In slot number 2, we have the Lord of Blood's Exultation. Because we’ve actually put a blood affinity on the greatsword, this is going to allow you to build up bleed and then proc massive bleed chunks to do devastating damage on your enemies. This is going to increase your attack power by 20% whenever blood loss is in the vicinity.

For our third talisman, we’re using the Axe Talisman. This is going to enhance our charged R2s by 10%. This is also going to stack with a tier we have later on that we’re going to go over in just a bit.

Finally, we’re going to be using the Bull-Goat's Talisman in slot number 4 to raise our poise by 33%. The reason you want this is that you don’t want to be knocked out of the charged R2s, especially after Braggart’s Roar.

The Roar Medallion can be found in Limgrave, early in the game, specifically in the Limgrave Tunnels after defeating the boss. The Lord of Blood’s Exaltation is located in the capital, within the Leyndell Catacombs, post-boss battle. You’ll find the Axe Talisman in the Mistwood Ruins, inside a chest. Lastly, the Bull-Goat's Talisman awaits in Caelid, right within Dragonbarrow Cave.

    Weapons

Now, let's look at the weapons, because you need something to hit your enemies with. First, we are going to be using a Blood Greatsword +25 with Braggart’s Roar. Braggart’s Roar buffs you in a few different ways, allowing you to get +10% physical attack, +10% damage negation for all types, and +20% stamina recovery.

The physical damage is 341 + 349, with a B scaling in strength, D scaling in dexterity, and a D scaling in Arcane because we’ve put that blood affinity on it, allowing us to have that 121 blood loss. Attributes required are 31 strength and 12 dexterity. This weapon can be found right at the beginning of the game within Caelid.

The next weapon we’re using is the Highland Axe, which is just going to be in your offhand. You just have to have it equipped, you don’t even have to use it at all. But the reason we are doing this is that the Highland Axe is going to give us a bonus to our Roar attacks.

In fact, it is going to give us a 10% increase to any Roar attacks, and this is going to stack with the Roar Medallions. You can find this weapon incredibly early in Elden Ring as well, in Stormveil Castle within the Grafted Scion room.

    Flask Of Wondrous Physick

Now, as far as our Flask of Wondrous Physick, we're going to be using the Stonebarb Cracked Tear and the Spike Crack Tier, both of which are going to enhance our charged R2s. The Stonebarb Cracked Tear is going to temporarily make stance break easier, allowing your charged R2 to destroy poise and get those critical off faster.

The Spiked Cracked Tear is going to temporarily boost your charged attack power. This is going to directly stack with the Axe Talisman, allowing us to get around 26% charged attack power damage once we have activated our Flask of Wondrous Physick.

    Armor Sets

In terms of the armor set, we have 2 different combinations for this build. The first is going to be partially the Maliketh's Set, with the gloves and the helm. The second portion is going to be the Night's Cavalry armor with the Night's Cavalry Greaves. Others can be chosen based on the number of Elden Ring Runes you have.

    Buffs

For the buffs of this Berserker build, you're going to be using Flame, Grant Me Strength and Golden Vow. You can use the Frenzied Flame Seal because it has zero weight. Both buffs are going to give you 35% physical damage and 15% damage negation.

  • Elden Ring: Get Ready For Shadow Of The Erdtree DLC By Mastering These Powerful Builds!

    Posted: Apr 03, 2024

As a Souls game, Elden Ring has a good character build that is crucial. With the release of Shadow of the Erdtree DLC imminent, in this guide we’ll share 4 of the best builds to prepare for Elden Ring’s first major expansion!

    Spear Build

The first one is our Spear Build. The weapons for this build are Eleonora’s Poleblade and Rivers of Blood. Eleonora’s Poleblade deals a lot of stance damage and also causes a bleed effect. And Rivers of Blood will give players a strategic advantage thanks to its ease of use and simplicity in combat.

In order for this build to reach its full potential, you’ll need to invest a certain amount of Elden Ring Runes to upgrade both weapons to +10.

Also, any seal that can be used to cast prominent buffs will suffice. The armor can depend on player preference, but the ideal option is Ronin’s Set with Iron Kasa. For Talisman, the choices that deal the most damage are: Ritual Sword Talisman, Shard of Alexander, Millicent’s Prosthesis, and Rotten Winged Sword Insignia.

In your Memory Slots, don’t forget to use Golden Vow and Howl of Shabriri. Also, mix Fire Shrouding Cracked Tear and Thorny Cracked Tear into Flask of Wondrous Physick.

    Flame Swordsman Build

Second, the major weapons of Flame Swordsman Build are Death’s Poker and Helphen Steeple. In order to cast spells, players need to use Azur’s Glintstone Staff.

For seals, any option for casting buffs will work. Its preferred armor is Spellblade Set, which increases damage by an additional 8%. The best talismans that will give you the biggest damage buff are Ritual Sword Talisman, Shard of Alexander, Magic Scorpion Charm, and Dragoncrest Greatshield.

In your Memory Slots, be sure to use Terra Magica, Explosive Ghostflame, and Howl of Shabriri. Also, mix Magic-Shrouding Cracked Tear and Dexterity-knot Crystal Tear into Flask of Wondrous Physick.

    Lightning Samurai Build

Next, Lightning Samurai is also a good choice. The chief weapon for this build will be Keen Nagakiba, which can be boosted to +25 after applying Unsheathe.

Its armor will be composed of Goldmask’s Rags, White Reed Gauntlets, and White Reed Greaves. The best charms for maximum damage are Ritual Sword Talisman, Flock’s Canvas, Lightning Scorpion Charm, and Godfrey Icon.

In your Memory Slots, you can use Golden Vow, Vyke’s Dragonbolt, and Howl of Shabriri. Also, don’t forget to mix Lightning-Shrouding Cracked Tear and Faith-knot Crystal Tear into Flask of Wondrous Physick.

    Souls Driller Build

Finally, Souls Driller is a severely underrated build because most players don’t know how to use it to its fullest potential. The principal weapon of this build is Marais Executioner’s Sword, which can be upgraded to +10 later. Any seal that can be cast and deals with damage will work with this build.

The armor for Souls Driller build will be Briar Set excluding the helmet. The best talisman choices for the most damage are Ritual Sword Talisman, Shard of Alexander, Millicent’s Prosthesis, and Rotten Winged Sword Insignia.

Golden Vow and Howl of Shabriri are very critical in your Memory Slots. Also, be sure to mix Thorny Cracked Tear and Magic-Shrouding Cracked Tear into Flask of Wondrous Physick.

    Outro

While many of these builds may be suitable for many people, some may not. So try adjusting them to your preferences and play style. This will ensure that when Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC finally drops, your character will be battle-ready and ready to face the game’s nerfs and buffs.

All in all, which of these four builds would you most like to try? Do you have any recommendations for better build options? Looking forward to seeing you in the game!
