  • Skull And Bones: Why The Enhanced Repair Kit 1 Is The Best Among Repair Kits?

    Posted: Mar 29, 2024

There’s a significant number of players interested in the optimal repair kits to use in Skull and Bones. This guide aims to address this question and provide clarity on why I believe a particular repair kit stands out as the best option currently. Let's dive in!

    How To Get The Blueprints?

Today, we’re going to go through which repair kits are the best to use. I know a lot of people run the Royal Custodian armor, so they’ll go with Repair Kit 1, but I just want to talk about the repair kits real quick so you can get the blueprints for the repair kits. When the Carpenter stops talking, you can get the blueprints for the repair kit.

    About Repair Kits 1, 2 & 3

The Repair Kit 1 provides a modest 6,000 health restoration and boasts a relatively short cooldown of just 20 seconds.

The Repair Kit 2 offers a significant boost, delivering a whopping 18,000 health restoration. However, this impressive healing power comes at the cost of a longer cooldown, clocking in at a substantial 60 seconds. Essentially, Repair Kit 2 triples both the health restoration and the cooldown time compared to its predecessor, making it a formidable but slower option.

The Repair Kit 3, which takes healing to the next level by offering a staggering 27,000 health restoration. However, this formidable healing potency is tempered by an excessively long cooldown of 90 seconds. Indeed, the cooldown period for Repair Kit 3 is undeniably lengthy, posing a considerable drawback despite its impressive healing capabilities.

    Enhanced Repair Kits

So, if we look at the Enhanced Repair Kits, the first to talk is the Enhanced Repair Kit 1. Now restores 50% whole health, and the cooldown in that is 40 seconds. Then we can get the Enhanced Repair Kit 2, restores whole health by 70%, but the cooldown on that is 80 to 90 seconds. The huge cooldown is just for an extra 20%. And then you can get the Enhanced Repair Kit 3, which is another 20%, which is 90%, and that does 120 seconds cooldown.

To be able to heal for 50% every 40 seconds is the best bang for your buck because you can easily, with how long ship fights last and the maneuvering and how long it takes enemy ships to actually get you on target, you can easily re-heal if needed in a sticky situation.

Now, a lot of people run the Repair Kit 1 with Royal Custodian, but even if you are popping that Royal Custodian buff, 6K health is going to disappear real quick depending on what kind of content you’re doing. So all in all, the Enhanced Repair Kit 1 is the one that you should be using.

How To Craft Enhanced Repair Kit 1?

Now, if you want to craft the Enhanced Repair Kit 1, you'll need 3 Repair Kit 1 displayed at the side of the screen. After obtaining them, you can approach the Carpenter, who will craft the repair kit for you.

Once crafted, you'll need to add the Enhanced Repair Kits to your wheel for easy access during gameplay. To do this, press the square button on the bottom left corner of the screen. If you're playing on Xbox or PC, the corresponding button may differ.

Next, select the triangle button to enter editing mode, and navigate to Wheel. Choose the slot where you want to place your repair kit. You can customize your wheel with various items, including cosmetics like symbols, or even food if you have it in your cargo. However, for most situations in the game, the Enhanced Repair Kit 1 is your best choice.

In that case, you can opt for the regular Repair Kit 1. I prefer the Enhanced Repair Kit 1 because its quick cooldown can save countless times during combat situations. Even though 40 seconds might seem long, in the heat of battle, it passes quickly, and the 50% healing boost it provides is invaluable.

  • Elder Scrolls Online: What Surprises Are Worth Looking Forward To In Jester’s Festival 2024?

    Posted: Mar 29, 2024

The exciting Jester’s Festival 2024 is finally here! The event, which only lasts for one week, started yesterday, March 28, and will continue until Anniversary Jubilee event starts on April 4. In this guide, we’ll cover everything related to the event, including reward boxes, event tickets, quests, achievements, and more.

For new players, the missions in this campaign can be interesting. Players can celebrate the event by completing some special tasks or interacting with some funny NPCs and receive double XP rewards. So, let’s join in!

    Double XP Rewards

As I said before, this event provides a 100% XP boost, which used to require using Pie of Misrule memento, but this buff is now automatically activated throughout the event. Of course, you can still get Pie of Misrule by talking to event jesters for the first time.

You can find jesters in event pavilions in Stonefalls, Glenumbra, and Auridon, and they will also provide you with some daily event tasks.

    Introductory Tasks

If you’re still not sure where to go, you can pick up the introductory mission for free in Crown Store. You will receive 3 Event Tickets and a Stupendous Jester’s Festival Box for the first event you complete each day.

    Event Items

Unfortunately, the only new item for returning players is Jester’s Seeker Suit Outfit Style Pages, which only appear to drop from gold boxes. There are some event achievements related to Joke Popper and Festive Noise Maker parts, but unfortunately, these achievements are still just drops from the gold box.

The only new ticketed items this week are Style Pages for Seeker Suit, but if you missed out on Jester’s Daedroth Suit last year, it looks like you’ll need to spend ESO Gold to get the cloth fragments.

There are 7 daily missions in total, and you can complete as many as you want to get more purple boxes. Each jester has 3 daily quests. Completing them for the first time will net you Crown Hat Collectible.

The best place to receive event quests is Stonefalls, which has a quest not found in other pavilions. The daily quest you pick up from the flyer will take you to Stormhaven, where you can pick up an ultimate quest.

    Event Achievements

Most other achievements are achieved using consumables dropped from event boxes.

    Princess Rescuer

But Princess Rescuer Achievement is tied to Stonefalls daily. You need to plan a pleasant route that avoids the butcher, and keep an eye on the princess to make sure she doesn’t fall behind.

Smile, In The Name Of The Queen

Players can quickly complete Smile, in the Name of the Queen on event wayshrines while a bunch of people are standing together. To complete this achievement, you will also need to use slottable event drops or Cherry Blossom memento, both of which are important.

    Dazzling Entertainer

To achieve Dazzling Entertainer, you need to use 50 slottable Illusion Dazzlers. You can use any item from the drops and use them anywhere. This can also be done simultaneously using Dazzlers in each Undaunted Enclave.

    Pie Achievements

There are then 5 achievements related to slottable pies, and throwing 10 pies to players in other alliances can be accomplished outside of PVP. But if you want, you can also go to Cyrodiil and complete Messy Business.

Throwing pie at each alliance leader can be difficult if you don’t know where to find them. It’s important to note that these locations are based on each alliance’s story progress. You’ll get a bounty for pie-ing them, and you’ll also get a bounty when you pie 10 guards, so you’ll want to have some gold or a Counterfeit Pardon on hand.

    Jester’s Personal Chef

Also, this event drop contains 4 recipes that you need to learn in order to earn another achievement.

Anyway, enjoy Jester’s Festival! Happy gaming!

  • WOW Classic SOD: 2 BiS Gear Sets For Ranged DPS Hunters In Phase 3 Raids - Agility & Spell Power

    Posted: Mar 29, 2024

Welcome to this new guide of WoW Classic Season of Discovery! As the Phase 3 approaches, it’s time to prepare for the upcoming release of the Sunken Temple raid by reviewing pre-release gear options. There are still so many things unknown. With that said, part of the reason we want to go over our gear set now is so that we can start preparing ourselves as early as possible.

We’ll be going over 2 gear sets along with the reasonable options if a piece is hard to obtain. One set will be your standard Agility set, while the second one will be the Spell Power set.

    Agility Set

Starting off with the Agility set, here is a full overview of the set. We’ll still run some Phase 2 pieces while still having room to optimize our gear before heading into the raid.

Helmet: We’ll be running the crafted Leatherworking Helmet called Glowing Gneuro-Linked Cowl for the raw stats and the on-use effect.

Neck: You’ll still be using the neck from the quest item - Gnomeregan Peace Officer's Torque from the last boss of Gnomeregan. If you haven’t received it yet, you can pick up Thermaplugg's Engineering Notes from the Level 48 version of Sentinel’s Medallion as an easy alternative.

Shoulders: We’ll run Troggslayer Pauldrons, as there are no other options that are even close.

Cloak: We’ll want to run Blisterbane Wrap or Dark Phantom Cape, as they’re both BiS. If you have a hard time getting your hands on one, you can pick up the Engraved Cape of Agility cloak or the Blackveil Cape from Blackrock Depths (BRD).

Chests: We’ll pick up the Fungus Shroud Armor from Maraudon. Alternatively, you can go for the Crusader's Armor of Agility chest or stick with the Blazewind Breastplate.

Bracers: W’ll want to pick up the Level 50 version of the Forest Stalker's Bracers. And if you’re not exalted, you can run with Deepfury Bracers or simply stay with your Experimental Aim Stabilizers.

Gloves: Void-Touched Leather gloves will be the best option for quick fights. For longer fights, the cooldown offers limited value and will be on par with Fingers of Arcane Accuracy. However, the Blight Leather Gloves could be the gloves offering the most value, especially if you’re running Aspect of the Lion.

Belts: Darkvision Girdle and the Highlander's Chain Girdle belt from Arathi Basin are basically equivalent, so if you have either one, you’re set.

Legs: We run the Ironhide Legguards of Agility legs, and if they cost too many SOD Gold or in short supply, Nimble Triprunner Dungarees will be your second best option.

Boots: We head into Maraudon to pick up the Albino Crocscale Boots. You wouldn’t need to worry too much about other options as they are rather easy to get, but it’s worth mentioning you will probably get Sandstalker Ankleguards at some point while leveling in Silithus, which is not too far off the best option.

Rings: We’ll want to pick up the Blackstone Ring from Princess in Maraudon, as well as Masons Fraternity Ring from the quest in Silithus. Blackstone Ring will, of course, be in high demand, so you can pick up the Arctic Ring of Agility until you get yours.

Trinkets: We’ll stick with Avenger's Void Pearl or Gyromatic Experiment 420b, depending on what we already have. In the second slot, we’ll run Devilsaur Eye from the Level 50 Hunter-specific quest line. If you average out the 150 attack power over its cooldown duration, it offers 25 overall attack power.

But since we can combine it with other cooldowns like Rapid Fire and the on-use helmet, it’ll offer far more value than static attack power would. Not to mention that we can use Feign Death to swap trinkets after the on-use effect is over.

Melee Weapons: We’ll still want to run with 2 one-handers, assuming we won’t be melee weaving. Sentinel’s Blade in one hand and Corpse Harvester of Agility weapon in the other. There are 2-handers that grant slightly more Agility, but that is more than made up for by having 2 with 15 Agility enchants instead of one enchant with 25 Agility. Putting up double Brilliant Wizard Oil on our weapons will be absolutely nuts.

Ranged Weapons: We’ll want to go with the new STV Bloodthirst Crossbow. It’s honestly not that much better than the Thermaplugg's Custom Blaster.

    Spell Power Set

Let’s move on to the Spell Power set. With the Phase 3 teaser, Spell Power gains even more value than in Phase 2, and as preparing for that outcome is not a bad idea. Here is a quick overview of the set we will be using heading into Sunken Temple. Let’s go over the pieces that differ in this set from the last.

Helmet: We’ll still be running the crafted Leatherworking Helmet, but depending on how well we scale with Spell Power in Phase 3, it could absolutely be worth it to feign that swap into the Spellpower Goggles Xtreme Plus when the helmet is on cooldown if you have Engineering.

Chest: We’ll swap to the Irradiated Robe for the Spell Power.

Wrists: It’ll be between the Dryad's Wrist Bindings and Forest Stalker's Bracers. As of the Phase 2 tuning, the leather ones would still come out on top, but with Lock and Load in Phase 3, that could be a very well change.

Gloves: We’ll run Void-Touched Leather Gauntlets, which is a new version for that 10% damage buff, so we can snapshot our Serpent Sting on pull.

Waist: We’ll run Ban'thok Sash if we have access to BRD, and if not, we run Volatile Concoction Belt.

Legs: We’ll try to pick up the Spellshock Leggings, but with how many people will be spamming Sulfuron Harbinger, it shouldn’t be too difficult to get your hands on a pair.

Rings: For the second ring, we’ll go to the Songstone of Ironforge if BRD is available, and if not, we’ll go with the Masons Fraternity Ring.

Trinkets: We’ll run Miniaturized Combustion Chamber or Invoker's Void Pearl, along with Devilsaur Eye.

Weapons: We’ll still run our Phase 2 options, namely Glimmering Gizmoblade and Dagger of Willing Sacrifice.

Ranged Weapon: The STV Bloodthirst Crossbow should add slightly more value to the Spell Power build, so try to pick that up if you can.

    Final Thought

These gear builds will be the pre-BiS with the information we have right now, but things could change very rapidly in WoW Season of Discovery and may be very different from day one of the patch. I’ll continue to update to keep you up to date if anything changes after the release of Phase 3.

  • Elden Ring: Explore The Relevance Of Maleigh Marais And Shaded Castle With The DLC

    Posted: Mar 28, 2024

The recently released Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree gameplay trailer is overflowing with information. In this trailer analysis, we delve into the narrative of Maleigh Marais and the Shaded Castle, exploring its relevance to the upcoming Elden Ring DLC.

The world of Elden Ring is expansive and vast, and even though the lands we play through are primarily dead, decorated with relics of the past, the storied history contained within makes it all feel very much alive. But this world is about to get much bigger, and more stories will be told, adding even more complexity to the lore that’s already established. Prepare for enough Elden Ring Runes and then we dive into the world of Elden Ring DLC.

    House Marais

The Marais family's history is deeply rooted in the Shaded Castle, with a dual role as executioners and castellans. Their distinctive blue robe, ornamental mask, and blood-soaked bandages characterize them. Despite their authority, all male heirs were born sickly, suggesting a curse. It's unclear if this stems from the swamp or their nature. They were employed for darker deeds beyond the castle, as seen in Capital Outskirts. This indicates a complex history beyond mere executioners, intertwined with royalty and grim tasks.

    Maleigh Marais

If the Marais family enjoyed prominence and favor with the capital, what caused their downfall? To answer this, we examine Maleigh Marais, the current head of the family, found outside the walls of the Shaded Castle. Armed with a poisonous Antspur Rapier, Maleigh was deeply devoted to the legend of Scarlet Rot, embodying his own personal goddess, Melenia.

However, his obsession led to neglect of his duties as executioner and governor, allowing others to seize power. A ghost at the castle's base remarks on the family's ruin, attributing it to Maleigh Marais. This downfall is further detailed in the tale of Elemer of the Briar, who stole the Marais Executioner's Greatsword and ousted Maleigh, leading to the castle's destruction.

Maleigh's story illustrates the consequences of forsaking duty, offering insight into the culture of the Lands Between and its transformation over time, which is pertinent to the upcoming DLC.

    Shaded Castle

In the northern half of Elden Ring's map, along the border of Altus Plateau in Mt. Gelmir, is a ruined castle that bears the markings of time. Situated at the exit of a ravine and sunken into a poisonous swamp, with many of the structures within the keep walls destroyed and submerged. From the outside looking in, it appears to be a terrible place to live, unfit for anyone of nobility.

However, once upon a time, it was a fair castle ruled over by a house, a family of nobility whose story is marred in confusion, obsession, and tragedy. The denizens of this Shaded Castle are House Marais, who were once prominent, living lives of royalty. Although afflicted by a curse, a curse that would eventually, through one descendant, cause a chain of events that would bring down not only the family but the Shaded Castle as well.

    DLC Contents

Before the shattering, the world of Elden Ring embraced a high fantasy theme, distinct from many of FromSoftware's other works. Central to this theme is the narrative focus on families and houses, with demi-gods and their offspring playing significant roles. Despite minor interactions with factions like House Hoslow, much of the lore surrounding houses remains underdeveloped. However, the DLC trailer hints at a deeper exploration of this aspect.

Notably, the NPCs in the trailer wear masks reminiscent of those worn by the Marais family, suggesting a broader cultural significance. These masks, used to conceal signs of disease, hint at a shared tradition across various cultures, including the Knight of Zamor.

Miyazaki's mention of the Land of Shadow, home to a different culture from the Lands Between, further supports this idea. Exploring various houses outside the influence of divine authority could provide insight into the larger scope of the world. House Marais serves as a starting point for unraveling these mysteries, offering a glimpse into the diverse cultures and histories that await exploration in the DLC.

  • Last Epoch 1.0: A Thorough Guide On How To Craft The Hungering Souls Warlock

    Posted: Mar 28, 2024

Hi, gamers! Welcome to this brand new Hungering Souls Warlock build guide for Last Epoch 1.0. It capitalizes on elevated ignite probabilities and bonuses derived from multiple Hungering Souls projectiles and the Chthonic Fissure, ensuring a thrilling and dynamic gaming experience.

You can strike a lot of enemies around you with Hungering Souls and pretty much use additional abilities to stock ignites around yourself. It can also survive well thanks to low-life mechanics and Profane Veil by itself. Let’s go forward and see what exactly is needed for the build to work and what we need to aim for.

    Build Overview

When discussing how the build operates, our primary focus lies in leveraging Hungering Souls as our major method of igniting adversaries. To enhance this approach, we employ Soulfire, a distinct Relic that grants an extra opportunity to ignite targets with fire and necrotic abilities. By altering Hungering Souls, it ignites enemies instead of poisoning them, resulting in a higher likelihood of igniting them and amplifying spell damage.

To survive better, we are using the low-life setup that contains Frostbite Shackles, Shackled Last Steps of the Living, and Exsanguinous. That way, we can get a lot of constant willpower which is so easy to regenerate, especially if they’re hiding in the Profane Veil.

    Active Skills

Hungering Souls: This is our primary skill. We can acquire Soul Swarm to increase the number of projectiles, and Domain of On Death since we're not particularly concerned about the width of the cone. We cast our Hungering Souls in sequences. Enabling us to cast continuously without interruption, with only 3 mana costs.

We opt for the Descent into Madness because our focus is primarily on damage over time. Nodes such as Life Hunt significantly enhance our casting speed, while Lament provides additional willpower when casting Hungering Souls directly.

Infernal Shade: With this skill, we just need to take our basics. Hellfire will help us to share fire resistance. We can take Hellfire for additional maximum Shreds, and Blaze Shade can help too with dealing more damage to the enemies, especially when we’re just using a Profane Veil to stack Shreds itself.

We’re also taking Lingering Flames for Shreds to stay on the ground because it will rise their effectiveness overall. 5 Points into Duration will help a lot as well and is definitely recommended, together with Increased Area, because that way they can overlap and hit more enemies.

Chthonic Fissure: Torment curse is used mostly for every clearing since we don't really achieve that good with Hungering Souls. We use Mantle of Flames to boost our ignite chance, complemented by the supportive abilities of Pyrochasm and Ash Cloud. Fell Fire serves to facilitate the spread of our ignites, while Fragile Crust addresses mana concerns. This setup enables us to utilize Chthonic Fissure efficiently for swiftly clearing packs of enemies.

Transplant: The most important part is Violent Emergence because that way we’ll be able to kill our enemies with the kill threshold of 15%. That way, we can pretty much just finish all the bosses with the blink, and it works well. We’re also getting the Bone Armor because it’s a strong bonus together with Apostacy for Bone Armor duration. Acolyte’s Fervor will provide frenzy for 3 seconds and is definitely recommended too.

Profane Veil: This is a surviving skill. We’ll need Spirit Plate for protecting us against damage over time. 3 points on the Eternal Blasphemy to move faster around and we have higher duration. Unholy Reveal is also good because then we can cleanse all ailments. Penetrating Gaze is also a nice bonus, and we can get Infernal Deliverance because we are using Shreds. That way we can just stack our Shreds with Profane Veil and it works well in a combo.

    Passive Trees

Next, let's talk about our passive tree that starts from Acolyte. We’re just taking Blood Aura and Blood Pact because that way we’ll lose our health more often. We’re also getting Forbidden Knowledge because stacking intelligence is the best way to get Willpower retention. The Manon of Mortality and Natural Preservation will stack our Willpower retention even higher.

Moving to the Warlock, 5 points into Spiteful Decay will help with base damage over time and health. Chaos Flame is very important just to get a ignite chance of fire skills. Occultist' Mind is completely amazing, so try to get it as fast as possible because that way you will get a lot of manas from Intelligence.

Infernal Lash is the most important skill in the tree because that way we are getting a lot of ignite chance and we can just use Scorched Reach for additional fire damage.

Then let’s turn to the Lich. Dance with Death will just boost our damage together with Mental Cacophony just to get more mana and Willpower retention. That way we can reach the maximum amount of damage through our passives and to get a lot of intelligence for high Willpower retention.

    Gear Setup

When discussing our gear, the pivotal one is the Cuirass of Perseverance, emphasizing the importance of stacking elemental damage over time and the chance to ignite. These stats are paramount for our build's effectiveness. For our helmet, the Boneclamor Barbute stands out, particularly when augmented with additional levels of Hungering Souls for enhanced utility.

In our low-life setup, Exsanguinous, Last Steps of the Living and Frostbite Shackles form the cornerstone. Exsanguinous depletes our current health to convert it into missing health, subsequently converted into Willpower. This synergizes with Last Steps of the Living and Frostbite Shackles, granting a continuous buff of 15% of missing health gained as Willpower per second.

Soulfire relic is essential and should be equipped in the belt slot to ensure our Hungering Souls ignite rather than poison. It grants an extra chance to ignite with fire and necrotic skills, aligning perfectly with our build. For the belt, we use the Praetorian Belt to prioritize elemental damage over time, health, and potentially cleanse attributes.

Ashes of Mortality serves as a valuable ring, offering cast speed, Willpower retention, and fire damage. It can also aid in Willpower mitigation, particularly when augmented with increased damage over time.

The secondary ring we choose the Abyssal Ivory Ring of Hope, which focus on providing Void Resistance and critical strike avoidance, while also emphasizing increased elemental damage over time and a chance to ignite for additional DPS amplification. You have the flexibility to decide which items best suit your needs base on the amount of Last Epoch Gold.

    Idols & Blessings

Talking about idols, we will need Vigorous Large Immortal Idols with elemental resistance and health, so that will help us to cap our Elementals. Throne of Ambition is a nice boost to our whole DPS kit because they’re doing a lot of fire damage and they are hitting enemies very often. That’s why it’s so easy to just maintain the maximum amount of stacks when they are fighting the boss or the rare enemy.

For the remaining small idols, we can choose for Blighted Small Eterran Idols to bolster our physical resistance and damage over time, along with Void Resistance and damage over time. This diversification helps us shore up our resistances effectively.

Last, for blessings, these choices are my recommendation:

    • Grand Flames of the Black Sun
    • Grand Survival of Might
    • Grand Bulwark of the Tundra
    • Body of Obsidian
    • Grand Light of the Moon

    Conclusion

That’s for today’s Hungering Souls Warlock build. It is very fun to play it and I think it is potential, depending on the situation and on corruption that you’re able to push. Ignite now is not the best damage over time, but it still can deal with most of the enemies.

  • WOW Clssic SOD: How Can You Expedite Your Gearing Process To Prepare As Swiftly As Possible For Phase 3?

    Posted: Mar 28, 2024

The third phase of the WoW Season of Discovery is scheduled for release on April 4th, bringing with it a new Epic Sunken Temple raid and introducing the new level 50 bracket with various fresh content. However, to fully capitalize on this update, it’s imperative to acquire the best-in-slot gear from Gnomeregan. Without such gear, gaining entry to raids in the initial week will prove to be exceedingly challenging.

    Review Of Gnomeregan

A pressing issue arises from the fact that there are only 3 lockouts left before reaching Sunken Temple. Given this limited timeframe, ensuring success in Pick-Up Groups (PUGs) within Gnomeregan becomes paramount.

Another underwhelming raid performance, whether four out of six or five out of six, is simply not feasible. This raid poses as one of the most daunting challenges in the history of Classic WoW PUGs. It’s uncommon for Trade Chat PUGs to emerge successful in clearing this raid. Hence, insider tips and strategies are essential to secure significant victories in our remaining lockouts. However, overcoming these challenges should be manageable, right?

If you’re part of a guild, raiding seems straightforward and routine at present. This is because each week, the same individuals return, employing identical strategies and tactics. However, this experience is not typical for the average PUG participant. The mechanics of these raids are often too intricate for most groups. Final bosses are particularly punishing, leading to frequent wipes. Failing on these final bosses means missing out on valuable loot, resulting in a frustrating experience. Consequently, some players opt out of raiding altogether, which is unsustainable as we require full BiS gear for Phase 3.

Fortunately, there are tips and tricks available for PUGs to ensure success, especially in the final days of Phase 2. To demonstrate this, we conducted 2 distinct Gnomeregan runs this week, implementing lesser-known strategies to achieve perfect six out of six raid completions.

    PUG Runs At Gnomeregan

Initially, we organized a PUG through Trade Chat, mainly comprising random players. Employing covert tactics, we ensured the group’s success without any possibility of failure. Subsequently, we assembled a team consisting solely of Rogues to demonstrate that with appropriate strategies, any raid composition can achieve success. Let’s delve into the most effective strategies and tactics to optimize your performance in Gnomeregan with any group.

The key to success in any PUG lies in establishing a robust healing core. In our flawless six out of six Trade Chat PUG, we prioritized this aspect. Recognizing that PUG runs typically endure heightened damage, we ensured the presence of an adept Priest as the primary tank healer. Regarding the secondary healer, the choice is flexible, allowing for options such as a Restoration Shaman.

A significant factor contributing to success in Gnomeregan is the inclusion of off-healers alongside primary healers. Both Boomkins and Shadow Priests can substantially augment raid healing, allowing the primary healers to focus on tank healing, which is less taxing on mana. In the world’s current fastest speedrun, a Shadow Priest delivered nearly 150 heals per second on Thermaplugg, while the fourth fastest run witnessed a Boomkin achieving 120 heals per second on Menagerie solely through Wild Growth. Integrating 2 healers with 2 off-healers significantly enhances consistency without compromising damage output.

With the foundational core established, attention turns to tank selection. While I personally favor Shaman tanks as a member of the Horde, Warlock tanks also exhibit commendable performance. More crucial than the specific tank class is the tank’s comprehension of raid strategies. Additionally, an experienced off-tank is advisable for encounters like Menagerie. Given my Horde allegiance, I appreciate the versatility of having a Shaman DPS transition to an off-tank role when necessary.

In terms of DPS, conventional methods involve scrutinizing logs to form groups. However, an alternative approach involves analyzing low percentile data on Warcraft Logs. This data reveals that classes like Melee Hunters, Shamans, Shadow Priests, Warlocks, and Mages consistently perform well, even in the hands of less seasoned players. These classes offer reliability in achieving flawless six out of six raids in a PUG setting, particularly given the advantageous positioning they enjoy in the most challenging encounters, Menagerie and Thermaplugg.

Furthermore, unconventional strategies can yield success. Our Trade Chat PUG, despite adhering to a conventional composition, does not preclude the effectiveness of alternative class configurations. To illustrate, we executed a full Rogue group, completing the raid within an hour. Ultimately, the composition of your group is secondary to the presence of a skilled tank and adequate healing resources, which are essential for navigating the challenges presented in raids.

    Preparations For PUGs

Now, let’s discuss the preparations you can undertake to ensure maximum success for your group before the raid commences.

First and foremost, it’s crucial to ensure that your raid members bring consumables, and it’s advisable to bring extras as a precautionary measure. In our Trade Chat PUG, I personally invested about 8 SoD Gold in acquiring protection potions to facilitate smoother fights. While many participants may already possess these potions, it’s prudent to consider stocking up for future raids.

Additionally, I strongly recommend acquiring the Gnomeregan buff and reserving it exclusively for use during the encounter with Thermaplugg. Once everyone has familiarized themselves with the tactics involved, activating this buff can significantly expedite progress through the fight.

Furthermore, I suggest utilizing 2 essential WeakAuras specifically designed for Gnomeregan. The first is the Gnomeregan WeakAura developed by Fedthaar, which provides timely alerts regarding crucial abilities, target changes, and interrupts. The second is the Thermaplugg Bomb Map, a tool that vastly simplifies the intricate button mechanics associated with the encounter. Ensuring that every member of your PUG has access to these resources can greatly enhance coordination and efficiency during the raid.

Strategies To Achieve Success In PUGs

Now that we’ve covered the necessary groundwork, we’re ready to discuss PUG strategies aimed at maximizing our success.

The essential element for achieving success in PUGs within Gnomeregan lies in employing strategies tailored to each encounter, ensuring effectiveness even in scenarios of poor coordination and limited experience. To exemplify this approach, I’d like to delve into 2 distinct yet successful PUG runs conducted this week. Rather than employing uniform strategies for every boss encounter, we tailored our approach based on the composition of our raid group.

Beginning with Grub, distributing and utilizing Nature Protection Potions prior to engaging in combat significantly alleviates healing challenges. Employing 2 tanks greatly facilitates the encounter, mitigating the threat posed by Chopper to our casters. Additionally, it’s imperative to instruct your Priest to prioritize dispelling Petrify, as neglecting this mechanic can pose a substantial risk to the raid’s success.

Transitioning to Viscous Fallout, our Trade Chat PUG prioritized AoE damage, ensuring that pre-potted Nature Protection Potions were readily available to address any healing concerns. Furthermore, we instructed our Boomkin to promptly utilize Wild Growth when the raid’s health was low. However, our approach with the Rogue team, attempting to bypass the adds and focus solely on the boss, proved to be less effective due to the potential for unnecessary casualties despite our considerable damage output.

For Crowd Pummeler, effective execution hinges on designating a vigilant volunteer to serve as a reference point for positioning and avoiding being knocked off the edge. Although both raids successfully managed this mechanic, an unfortunate instance occurred when lag caused a participant to inadvertently fall off the platform.

Conversely, our approach to handling Electrocutioner 6000 in the Trade Chat PUG involved organizing two groups of three players equidistant from the boss. Each group alternated between maintaining maximum distance from the boss during static mechanics, thereby streamlining the encounter and minimizing complications. This strategy underscores the efficacy of trusting in the competence of 2 players, simplifying the encounter dynamics.

    All Rogues Gnomeregan

Regarding the Rogue group, our approach mirrored that of the previous encounters, albeit with a slight adjustment in which the Rogues maintained a closer proximity to the boss, inducing a heightened sense of apprehension. Remarkably, despite featuring a significant number of melee participants, this tactic proved highly effective.

Transitioning to the Menagerie encounter within the Trade Chat PUG, we opted for a two-tank setup. The key to overcoming the Menagerie challenge in a PUG setting lies in the efficient management of healing resources and mana. I prefer to include a Shadow Priest among the tanking contingent for this encounter, as the tanks bear the brunt of the damage. Additionally, it's crucial to ensure that Boomkins contribute by deploying numerous Wild Growths, given their capacity to provide substantial healing while maintaining competitive damage output.

In terms of healing distribution, I advocate for assigning each healer to a separate tank. This allocation allows for concentrated attention on specific targets, minimizing the risk of fatalities due to delayed healing.

For the Rogue group tackling the Menagerie, we anticipated significant difficulty. To address this, the Rogues preemptively consumed Free Action Potions at the outset to swiftly dispatch the Sheep.

Thermaplugg presents a formidable challenge, particularly in Phase 1, where proficient tank maneuvering is essential. Ideally, participants should consume Fire Protection Potions beforehand, with Free Action Potions ideally available for Phase 2.

A noteworthy recommendation for Trade Chat PUGs is to include the Shadow Priest within the tanking ensemble. Conversely, the strategy for the Rogue group necessitated a notable shift, requiring the assignment of a Rogue rotation responsible for defusing bombs and activating buttons.

In conclusion, we've covered various aspects, including group compositions, preparation guidelines, and optimal strategies. Armed with this knowledge, you can assemble a group equipped with ample healing capabilities to overcome every encounter. Through meticulous preparation, you can substantially enhance your group's likelihood of success, particularly in challenging battles like Thermaplugg. By striking a balance between innovative and traditional approaches, success is attainable irrespective of the composition of your group.

  • Path Of Exile 3.24: The First Choice For Low-Budget Players To Enter Necropolis League! - Cold Shockwave Totem Hierophant

    Posted: Mar 28, 2024

With POE 3.24 right around the corner, I’m finally back with my powerful yet cheap league starter build, which is Crit Cold Shockwave Totem Hierophant! It can take you all the way to kill Uber Pinnacle Boss with a reasonable investment.

Before we get into that, however, I have to warn you that this build is not intended for Solo Self-Found. So if you want SSF builds, look for other ways.

    How To Scale Damage?

Shockwave Totem is a purely physical spell, with multiple ways to scale its damage. In this build, we equip Hrimsorrow Gloves, which convert all physical damage into cold damage. This allows us to use things like Cold Penetration and Hatred Aura for high damage.

I use Bitterdream Unique Sceptre as my chief weapon. As we said before, all support gems help scale cold damage. Chills and Freezes are like a layer of defense that makes me feel very safe while mapping.

Next, place your key skill here and you will get a pseudo 9 link. You can equip this Scepter starting at level 32. However, I highly recommend equipping it only after completing the campaign, otherwise you may run into some mana issues.

Thrillsteel is another unique item I use that provides permanent Onslaught.

Since Shockwave Totem scales very well with cast speed. Therefore, it is very important to increase the casting speed on your gear, especially jewelry. For other stats, focus mainly on Life, Resistances and Attributes.

Shockwave Totem has a glaring weakness in that it can only hit enemies within range, and enemies are always pushed out of range after knock-back, meaning you need to constantly re-summon your totem, which can be annoying. However, Astral Projector Unique Ring will be of great help to your Totem.

Using Astral Projector, you can place Totem anywhere and they will cast Nova spells directly on enemies. The cost should be around 30 Chaos Orbs at the start of the league.

Of course, you can get through tier 16 maps without it, but if you want to start doing harder content, buying Astral Projector should be your priority.

    Gear

Next, let’s take a look at the gear for this build.

These 3 unique items I mentioned earlier are all you need to start mapping up to tier 16 maps.

You don’t need life on your Body Armor because when using this Life Mastery, if we don’t have the life modifier on our Body Armor, our life will increase by 15%.

However, we can’t increase totem life from anywhere, so anoint Ironwood to prevent your totem from dying quickly. This is especially important when you get to Red Maps, but don’t worry, the oils you need are very cheap.

Your priority after this is to purchase Astral Projector Ring. Once you get Sleepless Sentries Cluster Jewel, you can change the helmet. Using Essence of Loathing can improve mana reservation efficiency on the helmet. Until you have enough POE Currency to switch to Devouring Diadem.

Devouring Diadem provides Eldritch Battery, which allows us to reserve all mana and spend Energy Shield instead of skills. Along with the shields, they are crucial to incorporating all our auras into this build.

When purchasing Skin of the Lords, make sure you get the correct socket color, as they cannot be modified later in any way, including Tainted Chromatic Orb. With this gear equipped, you can unspecify Ancestral Bond from the skill tree.

Leadership’s Price is a good amulet both offensively and defensively. Brittle Conflux will increase our critical hit chance, Scorch Conflux will reduce the enemy’s elemental resistance, and Sap Conflux will reduce the damage caused by the enemy.

In order to get these Confluxes, your two highest attributes must be equal. Even though my intelligence is 70 higher than my strength, with the return of tattoos we should be able to easily match the 2 highest attributes. Of course, don’t forget to anoint your amulet.

How To Convert All Physical To Cold Damage?

When you get into the late game, you may want to use a rare pair of gloves instead of Hrimsorrow. So, how do we convert all physical damage into cold damage?

First, we get Cold Mastery, which converts 40% of physical damage into cold damage, another 39% from Watcher’s Eye, and then another 20% from my gloves. I know it’s 99% total, but you could try to get 25% Eldritch Implicit on your gloves, then you’d get 100% cold damage.

100% Chance Of Avoiding Elemental Ailments

Also, this build has a 100% chance of avoiding Elemental Ailments. Of this, 30% comes from Astral Projector, 51% comes from My Boots, and the other 20% comes from Shield Mastery.

    Mana Reservation Efficiency

I’m running 6 auras on this build. I gained mana reservation efficiency from my Skill Tree, Level 4 Enlighten Support, Charisma Anoint, Devouring Diadem, and my Shield. Assuming you’re still a little short of mana after getting all of this, you can try adding some mana to your gear.

This build has a critical hit rate of around 98% without Bottled Faith because of Brittle Conflux by Leadership’s Price. In order to reach Brittle cap of Uber Boss, I acquired Critical Mastery and Militant Faith, and added the effect of non-damaging ailments.

    Avoid Farming No Hit Sanctum

This build can complete most mechanics, but I don’t recommend it for farming no hit Sanctum, as this build does not apply Freeze, which is also the major defense for running no hit Sanctum.

That’s it for the complete guide to Crit Cold Shockwave Totem Hierophant build. Necropolis League is coming soon, so get your best build ready to get into the game!

  • EA FC 24: These 5 Skills Moves Are Too Incredible To Miss!

    Posted: Mar 27, 2024

Greetings, fellow players! This time, we'll explore 5 skill moves that I not only frequently utilize but highly recommend for all players in EA FC 24. Without any delay, let's plunge into the core of our discussion.

    1. Reverse Elastico

The first one is the Reverse Elastico. If you want some showoff but effective skills, this skill move is for you. It's a 5-star rated move performed by only 5-star players. To perform this skill move, you roll the Right Analog Stick from the non-dominant foot of your player through his opposite direction to his dominant foot.

This skill is effective because of that quick change of direction. When your player performs it, he quickly busts away, changing direction fast, giving no chance for that Defender to react.

    2. Drag Forward

The Drag Forward is a classic skill move that doesn't see much use among the majority of players, but I find it quite effective. Rated at 3 stars, it's a go-to for me, particularly when playing with lower-budget squads that lack 5-star players. If you have enough EA FC 24 Coins, you have the ability to purchase more skilled players.

Executing this move is straightforward: simply hold L2 or LT, then execute a fake shot by pressing Circle and X simultaneously, while tilting the Left Stick Analog in the direction your player is facing. What makes this move effective for me is its speed boost element. Players burst away with increased pace, often leaving opposing Defenders trailing behind.

The Drag Forward offers excellent close control. Following the skill move, your player maintains possession without heavy touches, significantly reducing the risk of losing the ball. Its versatility shines in tight spaces, requiring minimal room to execute.

    3. Ball Roll

Next, let's discuss the Ball Roll. It's one of the simplest skill moves in the game, yet incredibly effective. Serving as the foundation for many other skill moves, you can seamlessly chain it with other tricks and techniques. Rated at two stars, it's accessible to all players on the pitch except the Goalkeeper.

Performing a Ball Roll is straightforward: just hold the right stick analog 90° in the desired direction. For instance, if your player is facing left and you want them to execute a Ball Roll in that direction, simply hold the Right Analog Stick upwards. This simple maneuver allows your player to roll the ball in the chosen direction.

However, the Ball Roll typically isn't performed in isolation like other skill moves. Often, it's combined with Left Stick Analog dribbling to cover more ground effectively. This combination enables your player to change direction more significantly, providing greater flexibility in tight spaces and challenging situations.

One of the primary applications of the Ball Roll is changing angles. By utilizing this move, you can open up passing lanes and increase the success rate of your passes. In scenarios where passing angles are tight and heavily guarded by opponents' Defenders, executing a Ball Roll can create the necessary space for a successful pass.

The Ball Roll isn't limited to passing situations alone. It can also be instrumental in shooting. Performing a Ball Roll before taking a shot can significantly improve your shooting angle, dramatically increasing your chances of scoring. This versatility makes the Ball Roll a crucial skill move, enhancing both passing accuracy and scoring opportunities.

    4. Ball Roll Scoop Turn

Another essential skill move to master is the Ball Scoop Turn, which represents a more advanced technique in the game. This move combines elements of 2 other skills: the Ball Roll and the Scoop Turn. To execute the Ball Scoop Turn effectively, you'll need players with a 5-star skill rating and a stable internet connection, especially if you're playing online modes like Ultimate Team.

Performing the Ball Scoop Turn requires precise timing and control. Start by holding the Right Analog Stick in the direction you want your player to perform the Ball Roll. Then, as your player initiates the Ball Roll, execute a fake shot by pressing Circle and immediately tapping X. It's crucial to ensure that the angle of the Ball Roll aligns with the subsequent Scoop Turn.

    5. Stepovers

Stepovers are the meta of the game, especially if you play the new generation game version. This is the most effective and used skill move in the game, second to Ball Roll. It's a 2-star rated move. Every player on the pitch can perform it except Goalkeepers. To perform the Stepovers, you simply flick the Right Analog forward to any direction your player is facing, then without releasing the analog, you roll it to the left or right of your player.

This skill move has that speed boost exit effect where, as the Defender, if you take a long time to react, you will be punished. Stepovers can be used in almost every situation and in every place around the pitch. It's one of the game-changer skill moves on the game to improve your gameplay.

  • Elder Scrolls Online: The Fastest Method To Help Your Provisioning Reach Level 50!

    Posted: Mar 27, 2024

Provisioning is a crafting profession in Elder Scrolls Online that is used to transform provisioning ingredients into cooked food and brewed drinks. As an important part of the game, Provisioning will save you a lot of ESO Gold once you upgrade it, as the duration of food, drinks and experience drinks will increase significantly.

In this guide, I’ll share how to level up your Provisioning as quickly as possible. In the meantime, I will show what you need to pay attention to when purchasing the necessary materials and recipes and how many items you need to craft to reach level 50.

Don’t miss this guide as I will also cover the best places to farm these provisioning ingredients. Let’s get started now!

How To Level Up Your Provisioning?

Provisioning skill line is usually upgraded by obtaining Inspiration, which is crafting experience. Inspiration gain cannot be increased through Aetherial Ambrosia, Crown Experience Scrolls, or other experience-raising methods. The only way to increase your inspiration gain is to actually make food or drinks.

    Make High-Level Recipes

Keep in mind that the higher the level of a recipe, the more XP or Inspiration you get when crafting it. So it pays to make the highest quality recipes possible.

When you start upgrading your Provisioning, you will make Improvement 1 and Quality 1 recipes. Therefore, in order to upgrade Provisioning as quickly as possible, you need to find or purchase a level 15 recipe with Improvement 1 and Quality 1, for example, Port Hunding Cheese Fries or Pan-Fried Trout.

While you’re here, you’ll also want to find or buy a level 35 blue or advanced recipe with Improvement 3 and Quality 2, for example, Silver Lotusberry Tea or Jasminkgo Tonic. These are great recipes that we will use to quickly upgrade your Provisioning.

You will now be able to go to Provisioning Station, select a level 15 green recipe and craft 160 of your first recipes. This should help you reach level 30 quickly.

    Assign Skill Points

Once you reach level 30, you can invest three skill points in Recipe Improvement and another in Recipe Quality. This will allow you to craft level 30 blue recipes. Once these skill points are allocated, you can start crafting 200 blue level 30 recipes, which will bring your supply to level 50!

It’s easy, and even Provisioning from level 1 to level 50 only takes about 10 minutes once you’ve gathered all the necessary materials.

Two Of The Best Places To Farm Provisioning Ingredients

Now, as we mentioned before, if you want to get more provisioning ingredients, there are two places I would recommend you farm.

The first is Ilessan Tower Delve Dungeon in Glenumbra. Ilessan Tower is in a small cave outside Daggerfall. Once you dig deeper, you’ll find that there are tons of crates, barrels, and chests filled with all kinds of different provisioning ingredients.

The next place I recommend is Velyn Harbor in Malabal Tor. Normally, Velyn Harbor is a great place for us to run around and get various craft items.

Once loaded, head to the small island to the northeast, where you’ll find two large barns. In these barns, you’ll find plenty of crates and barrels to loot, filled with ingredients. Once you’ve looted those crates and barrels, you can also choose to upgrade your Blacksmithing and Clothing skill lines here.

    Final Thoughts

In conclusion, this guide provides some suggestions for you to upgrade Provisioning. Since you will most likely upgrade more characters in the future, it doesn’t matter if you make too many ingredients or recipes. You can store them on a bank or character, so they are available when you create a new character. See you next time!

  • Skull And Bones: Uncover The Secret Of Rode Maangodin Ghost Ship In Season 1

    Posted: Mar 27, 2024

The Rode Maangodin ghost ships serves as one of the mission bosses in Skull and Bones Season 1. Numerous players are intrigued by the quest to track down this elusive vessel. In this guide, I’ll walk you through the process of acquiring the latest Skull and Bones Season 1 cosmetics by triumphing over the formidable endgame boss known as Rode Maangodin.

In the process of crossing the vast ocean, the mysterious temperament of the ghost ship adds an exciting sense of mystery to the game, prompting players to explore strategically and stay vigilant.

    Location

First, we need to head over to the bounty board and select the brand new quest called Anguish from the Abyss, a brand new quest that is going to give us amazing new items, ship cosmetics and more. It will be a bit challenging. Hopefully, you can have some friends help you out or maybe some of the server. Head over to Khmoy Estate and head over to where we are going to fight the boss.

    Endgame Ship Build

I’ll be utilizing the Sanduk for its formidable damage output, but perhaps the Snow would be a better choice for this encounter. If you’re in a group, the Sambuk is recommended, while solo players might opt for the Snow. Our objective is to farm the Rode Maangodin, and I’ll guide you through the process and the potential loot we can obtain.

The Sanduk build comprises 4 Zamzama III and all-size cannons, accompanied by the Rocket freeze ability. I’m equipped with the Black Prince armor and furniture geared towards the Scrapper Station, providing 8,000 health restoration after a crew attack. This setup capitalizes on the Raider perk of the Zamzamas, boosting crew attack.

We benefit from increased charge rates for Ablaze and crew attacks, enhanced Elemental damage on Demi-Cannons, and amplified damage to ships with an Ablaze effect. The Sanduk’s standard perk, Scorch, inflicts 5,000 burn damage when applying the Ablaze effect to enemy ships, further enhancing our damage potential.

    Ghost Ship Fight

Now, let’s embark on our journey. After ensuring adequate provisions, including food in my ship inventory, we’ll first deal with La Peste and then confront the Rode Maangodin. Despite encountering some unexpected challenges with La Peste being eliminated before our arrival, we'll assess the loot found in the sea, which includes La Peste Locker, White Skull Rum, Silver Chest, and Serious Chest. It remains uncertain if we'll acquire any special items from this haul.

The Rode Maangodin presents a formidable challenge, with its initial weak spots located prominently on each front side of its hull. These weak spots serve as the key vulnerability for dealing damage. Until one of these critical points is destroyed, the Rode Maangodin remains impervious to any harm. However, once a weak spot is obliterated, the Rode Maangodin emits a distinctive scream, signaling vulnerability and the opportunity for assault.

Besides its defensive mechanisms, the Rode Maangodin utilizes a barrage of rockets and unleashes the dreaded Blue Spectre, also known as Sea Fire. This combination results in a relentless onslaught of fire and explosive damage, making it imperative for pirates to stay on guard. One strategic advantage for pirates is to position themselves towards the back of the Rode Maangodin, where it struggles to reach, granting an opportunity for more effective attacks.

The Rode Maangodin possesses the ability to vanish into a heavy mist after a certain duration of combat. This temporary disappearance adds an element of unpredictability to the battle, as it reappears in a new location within seconds. The substantial fire damage inflicted by the Rode Maangodin can prove to be challenging for unprepared pirates, emphasizing the importance of strategic preparation and teamwork in confronting this formidable adversary.

    Rode Maangodin Boss Rewards

Tarnished Ring: The Tarnished Ring serves as a contract item and a onetime reward earned upon defeating Maangodin for the first time within the Oceans Apart side contract. Upon victory, return to the Mysterious Rogue and present her with the Tarnished Ring to claim a reward of 600 Silver.

Vengeful Essence: Vengeful Essence is a specialized material that drops from Maangodin and is utilized in crafting the Blue Specter weapon blueprint, available for purchase from the Mysterious Rogue.

Ethereal Ashes: Ethereal Ashes are specialized materials serving as boss currency, exclusively used to trade with the Mysterious Rogue in the Oubliette for unique items!

Dutch Merchant Company Loot: Being a ghostly Dutch Merchant Company warship, Maangodin also yields the standard loot found on Dutch-aligned ships, including specialized materials like the Precision Drilling Bit and Screw Mechanism, exclusively dropped from these vessels. Upon defeat, Maangodin drops a Mysterious Chest containing random high-tier rewards.
