  • Elder Scrolls Online: These Tank Sets Coming In Gold Road Deserve Your Attention!

    Posted: Apr 23, 2024

Welcome, fellow players! This time, I'll be reviewing some of the tank-related changes that appear in the upcoming Gold Road chapter in the patch notes of Elder Scrolls Online. Let me start by telling you that the Necromancer's Restoring Tether ability is receiving a 14% healing boost, aiming to align it more closely with similar healing abilities according to ESO spreadsheets.

    Blood Magic

The Sorcerer's Blood Magic also receives a significant buff. Previously, this passive restored 10% of max HP whenever you dealt damage with a dark magic ability. From a tank's perspective, this meant you'd only proc Crystal Weapon, and then your next 2 light attacks would heal you for 10% of max HP. Now, it triggers whenever you cast a non-free dark magic ability.

While it's a slight nerf for Crystal Weapon as it only procs once per cast instead of twice, you'll now also heal for 10% whenever you cast Firebrand, Shout, Dark Deal, and Daedric Refuge, which adds up, especially since Dark Deal and Vibrant Shroud already provide healing.

    Ayleid Refuge

Let's begin with a discussion on sets, starting with the Ayleid Refuge. This heavy set, obtainable from Overland in West Wield, offers an intriguing perk: an 11% damage reduction for 3 seconds after blocking an attack. It's worth noting that tanks typically shy away from defensive item sets, largely because of the lack of compelling options in this category.

However, the Ayleid Refuge shows some promise, albeit modest. While additional damage mitigation against blockable attacks may seem redundant, the set's potential lies in its ability to mitigate damage from other sources, such as DoT effects, following a successful block. Therefore, while it may not revolutionize tanking strategies, it could still prove beneficial in certain encounters.

    Lucent Echoes

The next set I'll introduce is Lucent Echoes, originating from the new trial Lucent Citadel. Above 50% HP, it boosts allies' critical damage and healing by 11%. Below 50% HP, it grants a hefty 20% damage mitigation buff to the wearer. It's also essential to prepare for some ESO Gold in advance before the new chapter.

This set may replace the Elemental Catalyst in trial compositions. While its crit damage bonus is slightly lower than Elemental Catalyst's potential 15%, it's manageable since some groups only require crit damage from 2 elements.

With Lucent Echoes, we're at 101% of the crit damage cap of 125%. Arcanists reach 12% from Fated Fortune passive, while Wardens achieve similar values with 3 Animal Companions abilities. Templars and Nightblades gain 10% crit damage from class passives, reaching the cap with 7 medium pieces.

    Xoryn's Masterpiece

Everything discussed regarding the replacement of the Elemental Catalyst remains valid. Xoryn's Masterpiece, the light healer set from the new trial, is unlikely to be utilized on tanks, but I included it for consideration as fitting support sets in team compositions is a collaborative effort.

While it may occasionally land on a tank, its primary function is to grant 1,667 max stamina and magicka to all allies within 28 meters, equivalent to 158 weapon and spell damage. This makes it a weaker version of the Perfected Vestment of Olorime.

    Rourken Steamguards

Next, let's discuss the Rourken Steamguards. While they might initially seem useless, the concept behind them was fascinating, despite their poor execution. These Mythic gloves introduce a Parrying mechanic to blocking, rewarding players for raising their block right before an attack hits.

Ideally, this mechanic would be an innate part of ESO combat rather than limited to a Mythic item. However, the issue lies because this Mythic only grants increased damage mitigation for a brief period. At that point, it seems more efficient to dodge the attack entirely.

A successful Parrying mechanic with Mythic should offer additional benefits, such as resource restoration, buffs, or enemy debuffs, rather than just providing a temporary damage reduction. The 10-second cooldown further diminishes its effectiveness, as players would need to refrain from blocking for a significant period.

  • Fallout 76: Is There Still A Reason To Try It In 2024?

    Posted: Apr 23, 2024

In the ever-evolving online gaming landscape, few games have experienced such a dramatic path to redemption as Fallout 76. Since its launch in 2018, Fallout 76 has caused a revolution in the multiplayer survival game world, not only restoring its reputation but also cultivating a thriving community.

In 2024, it’s time to revisit wastelands of Appalachia. Here I’ll share my thoughts on how Fallout 76 has grown into a game worth investing in. If you want to try it, don’t forget to pack some Fallout 76 Bottle Caps! Good luck!

    Preface

After Fallout 76 was first released, it was heavily criticized by players and critics, who pointed out a number of issues ranging from technical glitches to the glaring absence of NPCs that seriously affected the immersive experience.

Despite these considerable setbacks, the game developers have shown an unwavering dedication to their vision. They work hard to fix the game’s flaws by rolling out a steady stream of patches and updates. Gradually, the game underwent a transformation, giving players a more refined and enjoyable experience.

    Wastelanders Update Is Critical

Wastelanders expansion’s update represents a key moment in Fallout 76’s development trajectory, marking a significant shift in the game’s direction. Wastelanders breathe fresh life into the game dynamic by introducing human non-player characters, an improved quest framework, and a host of enhancements designed to enhance the overall player experience.

It’s also a simple statement from the developers that they care about player feedback and solidify their commitment to the game’s continued development and longevity within the gaming community.

As we stand in the year 2024, it’s remarkable to witness how Fallout 76 has evolved into a virtual world filled with intricate details and tons of engaging content.

Over the course of its development, the game has gone through a series of expansions, each new expansion greatly increasing the complexity and richness of the gaming experience.

Whether it’s uncovering fresh, uncharted areas ripe for exploration, or a constant influx of dynamic events and challenging missions, players will find themselves immersed in an ever-expanding universe where the possibilities for adventure are nearly endless.

    Innovations In Multiplayer Game Dynamics

One of the most noteworthy developments in Fallout 76 is its innovations in multiplayer dynamics.

Unlike its predecessor, the game is primarily designed for online play, but it cleverly caters to those who prefer to travel alone, staying true to the series’ tradition of immersive single-player adventures.

This unique blend gives players the freedom to seamlessly transition between interacting with fellow survivors and going on solo adventures in the desolate wasteland. This makes it a versatile option that appeals to both social gamers looking for camaraderie and independent explorers craving solitude.

The camaraderie and sense of belonging fostered by the community around Fallout 76 is truly extraordinary and noteworthy. It’s truly remarkable how players have come together to form various role-playing groups and in-game service networks, creating a culture that is not only accepting but inclusive of everyone.

    Community Driven

What makes Fallout 76 unique is its community-driven ethos that sets it apart from other games in the genre, showcasing its ability to create immersive, engaging environments where players can build lasting connections and unforgettable experiences.

As we look toward future possibilities, we see that Fallout 76’s carefully crafted roadmap is full of exciting prospects. The developers are unwavering in their commitment to providing regular free content updates, intertwined with the permanent expansion of the game’s vast universe, giving players an enchanting journey.

This will draw them back to the rugged landscapes of Appalachia again and again, ensuring players lasting engagement and endless adventure for years to come.

    Final Thoughts

Overall, Fallout 76’s transformation from widespread criticism to widespread acclaim is a true reflection of the developers’ unwavering commitment and the community’s extraordinary perseverance. As we find ourselves in 2024, this game brilliantly illustrates the huge potential for continued enhancements and the valuable insights gained from player feedback to achieve something truly remarkable.

Whether you are an experienced veteran player or a newbie who wants to experience more content, embarking on the adventure of Fallout 76 in 2024 will be a rich journey not to be missed.

  • EA FC 24: Conquer The TOTS Champs With This Unbeatable 4-2-2-2 Formation

    Posted: Apr 22, 2024

Today, I'm excited to share with you the ultimate meta 4-2-2-2 formation to dominate the Weekend League in EA FC 24 Team of the Season. These tactics will give you the edge you need to crush your opponents and climb the ranks like never before. So get ready to elevate your game to the next level!

    Custom Tactics

Today, let's explore the tactics setting of the 4-2-2-2 formation. We'll start by delving into the tactics: opt for a balanced Defensive Style, set the Width to 42, and maintain a Depth of 55. While employing a press after position loss strategy is viable, you have the flexibility to tweak the depth to approximately 62-65 if desired.

Regarding the Build Up Play, aim for balance, with a focus on Direct Passing for Chance Creation, and an attacking width of 27. It's essential to ensure that the attacking width remains below 30 for this setup. While the specific number isn't overly crucial, keeping it below 30 optimizes performance, as you'll soon discover. Customize your preferences for Corners and Free Kicks accordingly.

    Player Instructions

Strikers: Set both of your Strikers to Drift Wide, Get In Behind, and Come Back On Defense. In this formation, your 2 CAM players fulfilling the roles of the Strikers, with the actual 2 Strikers operating in the CAM positions. This strategic setup relies on keeping the attacking width below 30, allowing the 2 Strikers to Drift Wide and function as CAMs, while the Wingers Cut Inside and play as Strikers. These tactics effectively disrupt the opponent's defense, leaving them unsure of whom to mark.

Adjusting to this setup might take some practice. If it doesn't suit your style, simply instruct your Strikers to Stay Central. In this formation, the wide CAMs function as Strikers, tasked with staying forward and positioning themselves in the box for crosses.

The Strikers drop back to defend as Midfielders, while the Wingers Stay Forward, setting the stage for effective counter attacks. If this formation doesn't resonate with you, consider having your CAMs drop back on defense and your Strikers stay central. While casual players may find it challenging at first, those in Division 1 or higher should try it out for a rewarding gameplay experience.

CDM: Next up is the most defensive CDM. This player is on Cut Passing Lanes, Stay Back While Attacking, and Cover Center. You can put Deep Lying Playmaker on this CDM if they have the Long Ball Playstyle on them. The other CDM is going to be on Cut Passing Lanes, balance, and Cover Center.

I recommend playing Goncalo Ramos and Joao Felix as the Striker who’s going to Drift Wide. These 2 are going to link up when we’re going forward, and both of them have the Finesse Shot+ Playstyle, so whenever I’m on that left side of the field, I know finesse shot is an option.

Fullbacks: Following the same pattern, our Fullbacks will be assigned their roles. The defensive Fullback, ideally on the same side as the advancing CDM, will stay back while attacking and default. Conversely, the attacking Fullback will adopt a balanced approach with the Overlap instructions. Having an attacking Fullback with the Playstyle+ is advantageous.

Goalkeeper: The Goalkeeper will maintain the standard settings of coming for crosses and default positioning.

  • WOW Classic SOD: The Best Skin Farming Spot That Team Players Can’t Miss In Phase 3

    Posted: Apr 22, 2024

Here, I’ll share the ultimate skin and gold farming method for WOW Classic Season of Discovery Phase 3 tailored for solo adventurers and groups, which also contain some really nice BOEs. The only drawback to this place is that there are powerful elite monsters there that are difficult to kill. So I highly recommend doing it as a duo or group.

In this short guide, I’ll cover the location, how to get the most out of it as a group or solo player, the best builds and combinations, including covering the pros and cons of the location. Whether you’re playing solo or teaming up with 2 or 3 other players, you’ll be able to maximize your earnings. Don’t miss this powerful farming strategy!

    Pros And Cons

I tried several other skinning locations before testing this location. To be honest, none of them come close to this spot in terms of how much WOW Classic SOD Gold you can earn per hour.

Actually, soloing isn’t too bad if you can’t find the right combo, but you’ll need a lot of gear, and some classes can’t be run solo effectively.

The location is located in Burning Steppes and involves some powerful Level 42 to 44 elite dragons, specialized in forming Black Dragonscales and other valuable high-level skins. However, the drop rate of Rugged Leather is also good, and sometimes you will get two of them.

The advantage of us farming Black Dragonscales is that it will most likely be more useful in the next phase, so its price will not drop too low. If its price suddenly drops, investors will definitely want to buy it. So it’s hard to lose your investment.

    Optimize This Spot

Next, let’s talk about how to make the most of this skin farming spot and make it worth your while.

First, you have to kill these mobs as quickly as possible, otherwise it’s not worth the effort. This is why I highly recommend doing it in a duo or even a group, with only one person needing to skin the mobs.

What’s more, the monsters in this farming spot respawn quickly, and there are also two camps nearby, so you can complete both tasks at the same time, making it more suitable for group operations.

Of course, a solo player can make it work if well geared, but it’s not a good place for a solo Mage.

As you can see, this farming spot has five camps to choose from, but the northern camp is the best and is also very close to the eastern camp.

When starting farming, try to kill Scalding Broodling as soon as they respawn, as they are not elite and will die within a few seconds with a reasonable chance of dropping Black Dragonscales.

    Best Builds And Combinations

For Hunters, I highly recommend choosing a ranged build because of the huge AOE abilities these elite mobs have, both physical and magical damage. But for a solo hunter, trying to melee as a duo or group can be a pain.

As already mentioned, you’ll take damage from either side because of the massive AOE damage. Your melee warriors will take around 500 to 800 damage per cleave or AOE. Therefore, we can also use Mage and Hunters with Pre Raid Gear to deal with these mobs alone. But let’s be honest, the gold per hour isn’t worth the effort for a solo player.

On the other hand, for groups, the amount of gold farmed per hour doesn’t compare to any other location I’ve tried. Therefore, as long as you can kill these mobs quickly, this place is by far the best skinning spot in Season of Discovery Phase 3. This is really crazy.

    Outro

All in all, I highly recommend doing it as a geared duo, but you can also play this farm solo if you’re well geared. Because respawn times are long, you’ll increase your chances of getting epics and BOEs and get more kills. So hurry up and try it out!

  • Elden Ring: Master These Key Tips To Help You Farm Executioner’s Greataxe Effortlessly

    Posted: Apr 22, 2024

Executioner’s Greataxe is an important weapon in Elden Ring, primarily scaling with Strength and Dexterity. Its skill War Cry gives the user the ability to temporarily increase attack power. While active, power attacks become charge attacks.

This weapon is uncommon and only has a 4% drop rate. So in this guide, I’m going to show you where to farm this Greataxe and give you some tips on how to make things easier so that your farming process is less harmful to your health.

    Farming Spot

Closer to home, the best place to farm this weapon is actually in the middle of nowhere in Liurnia of the Lakes. To make it easier for you to find this location, look for South Raya Lucaria Gate Site of Grace.

Then zoom in and try to align your cursor with Site of Grace or the bridge, and look slightly to the right at this location, which shows a tree and a small box with an X inside, which is actually a collapsed tower. Mark it on the map and get close to it.

Once you get close to the tree and these tombstones, some Evil Skellies will appear from the ground.

Now pay close attention to the next instructions: look for the taller skeleton. He is the one who dropped Executioner’s Greataxe. Kill him and wait to see if he drops anything. If no weapons are dropped, you have to let the other skeletons kill you.

Since Stakes of Marika is very close to this place. So when prompted, you just need to choose to respawn at Stakes of Marika.

You spawn already facing where the skeleton is. You just need to walk a few steps or ride the torrent and kill the big skeleton again. That’s it. It’s simple once you know the location.

What’s not simple is that the chance of dropping this Executioner’s Greataxe is only 4%. It took me 32 minutes to drop the first one. So you need to be prepared.

    Farming Tips

Now I’ll give you some tips on how to make it more efficient.

    Increase Holy Damage

First, let’s exploit the weakness of the skeleton that drops Executioner’s Greataxe. These types of enemies have weaknesses to two types of damage: Strike and Holy, making them very vulnerable to damage.

The easiest way to deal Holy damage, no matter what Rune Level character is or what build you are using, is to use Ash of War Sacred Blade. It can be used on any type of weapon except Fists, Claws, Whips, Bows and Crossbows.

To obtain it, go to Third Church of Marika in Limgrave. Once there, head north. On the way up, there is a Scarab that you can kill to get Ash of War Sacred Blade. Infuse it into your weapon and set the affinity to Sacred, and you’re ready to melt those Evil Skellies.

    Equip Mace

Now for weapons, any weapon that deals attack damage will do. But if you don't have one, the easiest one to get is Mace, which you can buy at Twin Maiden Husks with Elden Ring Runes. You just need to rest at a Site of Grace and Melina will take you there.

    Improve Item Discovery Value

The next tip is to increase Item Discovery value of your character. But this farming location has a catch with this trick: it only works on mid to late game characters.

This is because a consumable item that boosts your character Item Discovery, Silver-Pickled Fowl Foot, is not recommended for use here. Because every time you are killed, the boost disappears. So it can get expensive quickly.

But for mid-end game characters, you can equip Silver Scarab Talisman and Rebirth at Rennala to increase your Arcane level.

    Properly Allocate Skill Points

Here comes the final tip. When respawning, first add the requirements for the weapons that need to be used, then raise Arcane to the highest possible level. If you still have points left, add Faith to increase Holy damage. Finally, don't put a little bit on Vigor so your health is as low as possible so you can get killed by skeletons faster.

That’s all. I hope this guide was useful to you. Hurry up and try it out and create your best build with this Greataxe!

  • EA FC 24: How To Make Full Use Of The L1 Button To Trigger Runs?

    Posted: Apr 19, 2024

The L1 trigger is a mechanism that can be used to control players without the ball, instructing them to manually advance when attacking an opponent. It is one of the most effective mechanics in EA FC 24. So, we are going to look at 3 main effective scenarios where you can use the L1 trigger and create a lot of opportunities.

    How To Perform?

Before that, let's see how you can perform the L1 trigger. First of all, you have to choose a player you want to send forward. To do so, you point the Left Analog Stick towards that player. Then, you simply tap the L1 or LB, and at then the player will run forward in a straight line.

But you have to move quickly, especially when pointing the analog towards that player you want to send forward. This is to avoid the game registering a dribbling movement of the ball holder. So, point the analog quickly and tap the L1. But the most important thing is to put in your time and practice first.

    Cutbacks

When during the Cutback, sometimes, you dribble down the byline and find yourself with no passing options because these AI players are inactive sometimes. And that's why sometimes we can use the L1 trigger to send one player forward, and this player will run towards the opponent's goal, creating that dangerous passing option, resulting in a goal-scoring opportunity.

This trick works because a lot of opponents are unaware of it, and normally, they focus on open passing options. The main reason is that many players put their focus on square passes normally because, by default, Strikers tend to distance themselves away from the goal. But you catch your opponent off guard and send that one player towards the byline and outsmart the opponent.

    German Cross

The second way to use the L1 trigger is to create a German Cross opportunity. We all understand how effective the German Cross is in EA FC 24. It's a long cross from the wing, but almost near the center. But to perform the German Cross effectively, you have to use the L1 trigger and send the ball receiver forward.

And most of the time, we send that Midfielder. He will move forward without the opponent noticing. This player will be available for that cross, breaking the opponent with just one simple trick - the L1 trigger.

    Create Lob Passes

Another way to use the L1 trigger is to create a lob through the pass opportunity. There's no easy way to attack in EA FC 24 than using lob through passes. They are so overpowered and difficult to defend. To use the lob through the pass effectively, you have to consider these 2 important tips. One is to choose the ball receiver.

Here are the recommended FC 24 Players for an effective lob through the pass:

Strikers: They are good options when trying to use the lob through the pass because you can directly get in behind the opponent's defense and score. If you struggle to understand the best moment to send your Strikers forward for a lob through the pass, this tip is for you. The best scenario is when the opponent is having 3 Defenders.

Commonly, players tend to use formations with 4 Backs. But if you get that opportunity when the opponent has dragged out one of the back 4 Defenders and is defending with 3 Backs, that's a perfect time to send your Striker forward for a lob through the pass and there's space to utilize. This gives a big challenge to the opponent to defend the lob through the pass.

Wingers: Getting your Wingers forward is one of the powerful ways to break an organized defense in FC 24. Even if the defense is well-shaped with the back 4, you can break it down and create chances. But to be successful with this, consider this second major tip.

  • WOW Classic SOD: Crucial Tips You Need To Master Upon Reaching Level 50 In Phase 3

    Posted: Apr 19, 2024

Welcome to another guide for Phase 3 of the WoW Classic Season of Discovery! Upon hitting Level 50, you'll want to dive into Sunken Temple raid and maximize your gold for BiS gear. We'll cover essential PvE and PvP content to ensure you dominate every aspect of gameplay. Get ready to conquer the Sunken Temple raid and amass wealth to upgrade your gear with our detailed strategies.

    Emerald Wardens

So as you reach Level 50, the first thing you need to do is to hit honored with the Emerald Wardens faction. This is the new faction associated with the Incursion events, but it gives you one of your new runes and extremely strong pre-BiS gear, too. We can pump over 1,000 DPS in some fights just using this pre-BiS gear.

As for how long it takes, the Honored reputation will take you about 4 hours of grinding Felwood Incursions at Level 50. The secret is that you get 1,000 bonus reputation from doing any Felwood quest once per day. If you play multiple characters, I highly recommend stockpiling at least one quest on each of your alts.

    Wild Gods Quest

There's another key method to get pre-BiS gear you don't want to miss out on: that's the Wild Offerings farming. In Felwood, you'll encounter an NPC offering the Wild Gods quest. It's a must-do because by completing it, you'll obtain yet another essential class rune. More importantly, once you finish the quest, you have access to several true BiS items without even going into the raid.

The Blackhand's Breadth trinket and the ring for the Hunter are instant BiS items that top parsers are using right now. The most common method to get the Wild Offerings is Princess runs. You can consistently get 5 Wild Offerings per hour, so a BiS piece of gear nearly every 2 hours. You can get a pre-BiS bracer and a Blackstone ring during a run to get even closer to raid ready.

    Sunken Temple Raid

Then, we want to run Sunken Temple for BiS gear. Some of the pieces, like the new epic bow, are amazing for you and other players. But once you complete the raid, things don't stop there. These can give you BiS Jungle Durian for huge mana regen, or you could get the new Zanza-style buffs to dominate your next raid.

What's exceptional about your class quest is that you get all 3 rewards. You also want to complete the new crafting quest so you can get your epic shoulders. These are BiS for most classes and pair nicely with your epic bracers. They're specifically designed to be one stat better than the Warsong Bracers.

    Professions

In your profession of choice, that's why you need to max out your professions as quickly as you can. There are many other benefits to getting the most out of your professions. If you max out your Enchanting, you can sell expensive enchants to people, things like the Legendary Crusader enchantment for thousands of gold profit.

The engineering being maxed means we can make the Repair bots and use the Goblin Sapper Charge, even target dummies in the raid for huge pulls. There is also a new questline that lets you have both Goblin and Gnomish engineering at the same time.

A lot of people making hundreds of WoW SOD Gold per day in Alchemy, especially with the new quest that gives you a 30% chance to craft bonus potions and elixirs. Most professions now have lucrative options near 300. You certainly don't want to overlook any of the opportunities to make gold.

    PvP Factions

On top of PvP factions, there's the Argent Dawn reputation to farm on every single character. Friendly reputation gives us the Enriched Manna Biscuit, which outshines Mage water. Honored reputation grants us the Abyssal healing power enchant.

More importantly, we gain access to Blessed Sunfruit, a 10-strength food based on enhanced Shaman and Warriors. Even Agility classes like Rogues should consider it for speed runs. With limited time for eating, alternatives like Grilled Squid become less practical.

Additionally, there's the Timbermaw Hold. The Pouch remains excellent for 1v1 PvP, and serious gamers will strive for the Defender of the Timbermaw, the ultimate trinket flex. Access to 2 BiS Agility enchants for weapons is also crucial.

  • FFXIV: Follow This Guide To Unlock Fisher Job And Catch Your First Fish!

    Posted: Apr 19, 2024

Do you like fishing in Final Fantasy XIV? Fisher is one of three Disciples of the Land jobs in the game, and it undoubtedly provides one of the unique experiences as a gatherer.

As a fisher, you’ll travel around the world and catch unique fish and creatures of all sizes, each telling its own story about the area and the world in which they live.

Fishing is a fun and relaxing activity in FFXIV, but it can be stressful if you don’t know what you’re doing. Don’t worry, though, by following this guide, you’ll unlock your first fish Fisher catches and start experiencing all the content Fisher has to offer.

    How To Unlock Fisher?

First, you can unlock Fisher at Fishermen’s Guild, located in the coastal city of Limsa Lominsa. You can join a guild after completing level 10 Disciples of War or Magic job quest. Just talk to Guild Assistant twice to unlock Fisher job and get your first Fishing Rod.

    Equip Your Fishing Rod

Next, equip Fishing Rod you got and transfer your job to Fisher. But if you want to get some better gear, you can contact any Fieldcraft Supplier and buy it.

In Limsa, you can contact Iron Thunder to purchase a new Fishing Rod, or Syneyhil in Hawkers’ Alley to purchase armor. In later levels, you can also use Gatherer Scrips to get gear, but this is a bit more difficult.

Start My First Fishing Rod Quest

Once you’re ready, return to Fishermen’s Guild and talk to Sisipu Sipu to begin your first Fisher job quest: My First Fishing Rod. In this mission, Sisipu asks you to use Lugworm as bait to catch five Lominsan Anchovy in the waters outside Fishermen’s Guild.

    Apply Bait

To catch Lominsan Anchovy, we need to use Bait skill. Open Bait and Tackle window, click on Lugworm in Bait window to apply them. The check mark will show the currently applied baits.

Please note that this window will display all baits in our inventory. But if you have unlocked Retainers or Chocobo Saddlebag, the bait stored in it will not count!

Since some baits only work in certain types of biomes, you can check the bait description to see which types of biomes the bait is suitable for.

You can get bait from merchants and Scrip Exchange vendors around the world. They usually sell bait for their area, so if you want to save some inventory space, just check to see what the merchant is selling.

    Fishing Tips

With Lugworm applied, we can now start fishing. Run to the edge of the pier outside Fishermen’s Guild until Cast skill lights up, and you can go fishing in the nearby fishing hole.

Each fishing hole has many fish for you to catch. Each fish has one of three bait types and is marked with one to three exclamation points on Fisher of Lights’ head. These baits also correspond to the movement and sound of the rod when a fish bites.

When you see an exclamation mark appear above your head, press Hook skill within 3 seconds to reel in the fish. Sometimes the fish escape and that’s okay! Just cast back out again. No matter what, you can always catch your first fish!

Now let us know more. Cast out and reel in the other fish as before. Every time you cast a bait, maybe another fish will come out of the fishing hole and bite the bait you used. Depending on the bait you use, some fish may bite more often than with a different bait. As you level up and gain new baits and fishing skills, you’ll have greater control over which fish bite and which fish don’t.

Then continue Casting and Hooking until you get all 5 Lominsan Anchovy required by Sisipu. You may also get a bunch of other types of fish, and selling them can net you extra FFXIV Gil income.

    Unlock Ocean Fishing

Once you have everything you need, return to Sisipu to complete your first Fisher job quest. After completing the first mission, you can unlock Ocean Fishing, which will be one of the best ways to level up your Fisher.

    What’s Next?

Now you have unlocked Fisher and caught your first fish. You can continue to upgrade Fisher through Ocean Fishing, Overworld Fishing, and turning in fish to your Grand Companies.

Every time you catch a new fish that’s not in your Fishing Log, you’ll earn extra XP, so be sure to explore any fishing holes you come across and stay up to date on your Fisher job quest. You’ll unlock more fishing hole biomes and even skills to make your fishing even more powerful.

Even after completing the major mission, you can enter new areas and cities and enjoy new baits, fishing holes, and even job quests. Once you reach level 50, you’ll be able to start Big Fishing, another unique aspect of fishing in Final Fantasy XIV.

Regardless, by fishing, you will experience a unique way of seeing the world of FFXIV, traveling to off-the-beaten-track locations and spending time admiring the world of Eorzea. Good luck and happy fishing!

  • Path Of Exile 3.24: This Harbinger Farming Method In SSF Requires Only Low Investment!

    Posted: Apr 19, 2024

In Path of Exile 3.24, Harbinger in SSF proves useful for several reasons, particularly for farming currency. It adds numerous monsters to the maps, and acquiring scarabs is relatively straightforward. This strategy is not overly complex to execute, and the investment required is minimal and can effectively complement other strategies.

    Strategy Overview

The idea of this strategy is incredibly straightforward: we aim to maximize the number of Harbingers in the map, buff them as much as possible. Despite its simplicity, it's a fun strategy. Harbingers can also spawn as a map modifier, resulting in some completely ludicrous maps filled with blue Harbingers.

They drop many hard-to-get currency orbs like Exalted Orbs, Orb of Annulment, Ancient Orbs, and even Fracturing Orbs, which are incredibly rare. You can use all the Ancient Orbs on unique belts in SSF. On average, you can take 3 to 4 Ancient Orbs per map, plus an Orb of Annulment and maybe an Exalted Orb.

To give you an idea of the loot that is in Tier 16 maps, with perhaps on average 80% map quantity, but that map quantity doesn't actually affect the results. You would maybe think that Harbingers drop the Beachhead map or the Landing Divination Card, which can be traded for the Beachhead.

    Harbinger Scarabs

For scarabs, I'm typically using 2 regular Harbinger Scarabs for 6 additional Harbingers, then one Harbinger Scarab of Discernment to increase their currency to be rare and drop one type. This means you either get a ton of the currency that you want or you don't get anything at all. But it saves you a lot of clicking.

The fourth scarab is the Harbinger Scarab of Regency, giving us a 50% chance for a Harbinger boss. The total chance of this is now 75% thanks to the passive tree. Sometimes, you will have enough of the Harbinger Scarab of Warhoards, which doubles the currency that you're getting, which is obviously amazing.

    Atlas Tree Setup

Let's talk about the atlas passive tree. First, we definitely choose the Harbinger nodes. First Wave gives a 25% chance for a more powerful Harbinger. Unspeakable Offensive makes them spawn their monsters much faster and speeds up the mechanic. Then you can take Rogues, as they drop tons of loot, and combined with the increased item quantity from Unrelenting Torment.

I’m skipping shrines entirely on this strategy. The Harbinger isn’t all that difficult. It’s a lot easier than Essence monsters or Rogues, so we can do without the shrines and spend those points elsewhere. I recommend running the Searing Exarch influence as it provides a steady stream of currency and scarabs, which is useful in SSF.

Running the league nodes for more corpses, more Allflame, and more buffs and debuffs on the monster packs. These synergize once more because the extra quantity and rarity modifiers are amazing in your maps. But also, we're playing the Necropolis League, and that means you should engage with the league mechanic.

To sustain, scarabs are crucial, so you can prioritize acquiring most scarab nodes on the Atlas tree. However, opt out of certain nodes that enhance map modifier effects. While these nodes don't boost map rewards, they make maps overly challenging and less enjoyable, which is unnecessary.

    Final Thought

I found a few pros of this strategy. The scarabs are fairly easy to find, and it works with a lot of combinations of Harbinger scarabs, so you can run this with whatever you want. You’re not really bound to one specific scarab. You can mix and match, and everything will basically just work. The loot is very consistent, and it’s also loot that you otherwise cannot get, like Fracturing Orbs.

However, there are also some cons too. The first is that the maps take quite a long time to complete with the Harbinger. You still have to wait quite a while before all the monsters show up. The second con is that the mechanics don't really interact with many other strategies, as the monsters despawn on death, and seemingly they're not affected at all by the Allflames. And the Harbinger currency isn't affected by item quantity or item rarity, so you have very few ways to juice the rewards.

  • EA FC 24: Get Ready For TOTS - Master These Strategies For The Annual Event

    Posted: Apr 18, 2024

With Team of the Season just around the corner, there's a lot to delve into in EA FC 24. Currently, we have the Team of the Season Warm-Up series, offering some enticing packs. In this guide, I'll provide you with valuable advice on how to get ready for this exciting event.

    Free Playstyle Plus

Let's kick things off with a crucial tip. Keep a vigilant eye on the store, especially for any inexpensive packs available at this stage of the game. There's a high likelihood that many TOTS cards will feature free Playstyles. This insight could prove invaluable as you prepare for the upcoming TOTS event.

The cards can get free Playstyle plus by then. The best Team of the Year or Season cards, if not a lot of them, are going to start having free Playstyle plus. Free Playstyle plus are going to massively change the meta. It is also good to get these cards with an inconsiderable amount of EA FC 24 Coins.

    Team Of The Season

As for the teams, I would probably wait for the Premier League Team of the Season. That's normally the second team of the season. As in the previous TOTS events, we will get the Community Team of the Season the first week. You might get some good cards in there, but there are not many elite ones. You could wait for the Ultimate Team of the Season, but that could be 6, 7 weeks away.

We always tend to get Community Team of the Season the first week, Prem Team of the Season, but then we'll still have Spanish, Bundesliga, French, and Italian, all tend to get amazing cards. Premier League tends to be the most expensive because it's probably the most popular league. And then after we've had the 5 major leagues, we tend to get an Ultimate Team of the Season.

    FUT Champions

In terms of the FUT Champions, it's crucial to maximize your efforts now. Without a doubt, now is the time to secure top-tier players. When Team of the Season kicks off, it marks the pinnacle of FUT Champions rewards.

But if you want to play your own, which most people obviously will, it is a good time to play it. The FUT Champions tend to run a lot longer during Team of the Season. They're not confirmed it yet, but it's normally Friday to Wednesday. Team of the Season is the by far the best in terms of the reward you're going to get. Keep your eye out on the objectives as well.

    TOTS Warm Up

Now, we have these warm up daily login upgrades. It's crazy at this point in the game that these cards aren't as good as the cards in previous seasons, but keep an eye out for objectives. You can get season XP. You might get some good cards, even with these at this point in EA FC 24.

Keep an eye out for Squad Building Challenges. Remember to go do this upgrade thing. If you've not done it already, but at this point of the game, I wouldn't really be considering any SBCs because SBCs at this point in the game, they're not going to be as good as the Team of the Season ones because the Team of the Season ones, we're expecting to be free Playstyles.

Get your team ready, make sure you've got used to a tactic. If there's any time of the year to concentrate and sweat as hard as you can for the Weekend League, it's Team of the Season. Make sure you know your tactic that you want to play, make sure your team's in a good place.
