WoW Midnight Mythic+ Dungeon Mechanics: Permanently stop downgrading once you reach the specific level!

    Posted: May 21, 2026Views: 180

Clearing dungeons is one of the primary methods for farming various resources in WoW Midnight; these dungeons can be broadly categorized into standard dungeons and Mythic+ Dungeons.

A Mythic+ Dungeon does not refer to a single specific instance, but rather to a rotating pool of eight distinct dungeons that become available for you to challenge on a regular schedule.

Compared to standard dungeons, Mythic+ Dungeons impose various restrictions and modifiers to significantly increase their difficulty; naturally, the rewards for completing them are far more lucrative!

This system has now been live for nearly two months. Even though it presents a formidable challenge, it is high time to tackle it head-on! We have prepared this guide to provide you with the assistance you need.

WoW Midnight Mythic+ Dungeon Mechanics: Permanently stop downgrading once you reach the specific level!

    Mythic+ Dungeon basic mechanics overview

The rotating lineup of Mythic+ Dungeons includes the following instances. The first four on the list are new additions introduced in WoW Midnight, while the latter four are drawn from other classic WoW expansions:

    • Magister's Terrace
    • Maisara Caverns
    • Nexus-Point Xenas
    • Windrunner Spire
    • Algeth'ar Academy
    • Seat of the Triumvirate
    • Skyreach
    • Pit of Saron

Regardless of which dungeon is currently in rotation, you can only enter as a pre-formed 5-player group (consisting of 1 Tank, 1 Healer, and 3 DPS). Furthermore, the difficulty level of the dungeon is determined by Keystone held by the group members.

Mythic+ Dungeons must be completed within a specific time limit. Additionally, beyond simply defeating the bosses, the group is required to clear a minimum number of trash mobs throughout the dungeon.

During combat, the current Mythic+ Dungeon will feature a specific set of affixes designed to further heighten the challenge. Various forms of loot, including WoW Midnight gold, are awarded only upon the successful completion of the entire dungeon run.

Moreover, the operation of Mythic+ Dungeon system is closely tied to the seasonal update cycle: the current season dictates the specific rotation of dungeons, the active affixes, player rating calculations, and the exclusive seasonal rewards available.

    What is Keystone?

Keystone also known as Mythic Keystone, can be thought of as the key required to access a Mythic+ Dungeon.

In addition to granting access, Keystone determines which specific dungeon you will enter and at what difficulty level. It also provides a preview of the dungeon affixes you can expect to encounter during the run.

If you currently do not possess a Keystone, you can form a group with a player who does have one to complete a Level 0 Mythic+ Dungeon run. Upon defeating the final boss of that run, you will typically be awarded your very own Keystone.

As you participate in more Mythic+ Dungeons, you can acquire additional Keystones by completing runs or through rewards from Great Vault. Additionally, interacting with Keystone Vendor will grant you one free Keystone.

    Upgrading your Keystone

The default level of Keystone you receive depends on the high-level Mythic+ Dungeon you completed during the previous week; if you did not complete any, Keystone you receive will be one level lower.

The higher Keystone level, the more dangerous the enemies you encounter within the dungeon become; however, the loot you obtain will also be of higher quality. Therefore, we encourage you to challenge higher levels.

To do this, you must first find ways to upgrade your Keystone. A common strategy is to complete Mythic+ Dungeons as quickly as possible; by doing so, a single successful run can raise your Keystone level by up to three levels.

Every Mythic+ Dungeon features a built-in timer. The specific time limit usually depends on the number of bosses within the dungeon: the more bosses there are, the more time you are allotted.

Based on this, the specific conditions for upgrading your Keystone level are as follows:

    • Less than 20% of the time remaining: +1 level
    • Less than 40% but more than 20% of the time remaining: +2 level
    • More than 40% of the time remaining: +3 level

It is worth noting that starting from Keystone Level 12, if you successfully complete a Mythic+ Dungeon at that specific level, your Keystone will no longer drop in level thereafter, even if you subsequently fail a run.

This is, in effect, Resilient Keystones mechanism introduced by the game to prevent you from suffering accidental setbacks while operating at high-level tiers.

Furthermore, if you complete the final Mythic+ Dungeon at your current level, you will also unlock a corresponding achievement.

However, if you do not possess Resilient Keystones status, meaning you have not yet successfully completed a run at your current level, then even if you clear the dungeon, your Keystone level will be downgraded by one tier if you exceed the time limit.

    Affix variations

The effects of affixes within each Mythic+ Dungeon are determined by both the current season mechanics and Keystone level. The primary impact of Keystone level itself is a proportional increase in the enemies' health and damage output.

As for the other random affix effects, they cease to change once Mythic+ Dungeon level exceeds 12. The maximum level cap is 15.

    Mythic+ rating and rewards

In addition to standard loot drops, at the end of each season, you can earn additional rewards based on your overall Mythic+ rating. This rating is calculated based on the levels of the dungeons you have completed, as well as the completion times for those runs.

Generally speaking, every season features one Mythic+ Dungeon that is easier to complete than the others; you can focus your efforts on optimizing your clear speed for that specific dungeon.

    Further details

Once your party roster is finalized, you cannot alter the lineup, nor may you leave the instance prematurely while progressing through a Mythic+ Dungeon; doing so will result in a penalty. Furthermore, you are prohibited from changing any character's gear setup during the run.

The above covers the fundamental mechanics you need to master when farming WoW Midnight Mythic+ Dungeon. As for the specific strategies required to clear the dungeon itself, you will need to consult the corresponding dungeon-specific guides!

WoW Midnight Season 1 Voidspire Raid is fully open! How to get Gear and Tier Set Tokens before the next update?

    Posted: Apr 03, 2026Views: 1164

If you are the type of player who prefers to wait until a dungeon or raid is fully released before diving in, then now is the perfect time to experience the raids of WoW Midnight Season 1!

This is because, among the season's three raids, Dreamrift opened on March 17th; March on Quel'Danas is scheduled for April 7th; while Voidspire was released in segments on March 17th, 24th, and 31st.

In other words, you can now play through the entirety of both Dreamrift and Voidspire. If you progress quickly enough, you'll be perfectly poised to jump into March on Quel'Danas when it launches just one week from now!

With that in mind, this guide focuses on Voidspire raid, a challenge you can tackle immediately, offering a wealth of content to explore. If you're interested, be sure to read through to the very end!

WoW Midnight Season 1 Voidspire Raid is fully open! How to get Gear and Tier Set Tokens before the next update?

    Voidspire raid overview

This raid is located within Voidstorm zone and requires your character to reach Level 90 before you can enter. Throughout the challenge, you will encounter six bosses. The available difficulty options for the raid include Raid Finder, Normal, Heroic, Story Mode, and Mythic.

Not all difficulty levels and raid sections were released simultaneously, they were rolled out in phases throughout the month of March:

    • March 17: Raid Finder Wing 1, Normal, Heroic
    • March 24: Raid Finder Wing 2, Story Mode, Mythic
    • March 31: Raid Finder Wing 3

However, since it is now April, you are free to attempt any difficulty level that your capabilities allow. Furthermore, aside from the level requirement, there are no other prerequisites for entering this raid; simply travel to /way 2405 45.5 64.4 to find the entrance.

Defeating any boss within the raid awards WoW Midnight gold as a baseline reward; however, the quality of other loot drops, such as gear, will vary depending on the difficulty level of the boss defeated.

    Tier 1 Boss: Imperator Averzian

The six bosses in Voidspire raid can be broadly categorized into four tiers based on their difficulty, with higher tiers yielding items of a higher item level.

Among these, Imperator Averzian is the sole boss in Tier 1. At the start of the encounter, he utilizes an ability called Shadow's Advance to gradually encroach upon and claim areas of the battlefield.

If a section of the arena falls under Void Claimed status as a result, it becomes permanently lost and cannot be reclaimed.

Building upon this, if the boss successfully captures three adjacent zones in succession, he will proceed to cast March of the Endless. Furthermore, Dark Tears will manifest above the captured zones, from which the boss's minions will pour forth.

Compounding the challenge, as the battle progresses, the rifts will gradually expand, and the enemies summoned from them will become increasingly formidable.

Consequently, the key to defeating this boss lies in maintaining strict control over him right from the very start of the encounter.

If you opt for a higher raid difficulty setting, certain abilities, including those of Averzian and other bosses, will gain additional effects or become significantly more potent; therefore, you must choose your difficulty level with extreme caution.

Tier 2 Bosses: Vorasius and Fallen-King Salhadaar

    Vorasius

This boss's primary method of attack involves utilizing his massive arms to cast Smashing Frenzy, thereby generating Void Crystal barriers across the battlefield.

Subsequently, he casts Aftershock, dealing damage to the player party in the form of outward-expanding ripple waves.

If you are struck by Smashing Frenzy, you will be afflicted with Smashed debuff. Conversely, if no players are struck, the entire raid group will suffer massive damage.

    Fallen-King Salhadaar

Once the battle begins, several mechanical devices will appear within the arena; the boss can draw energy charges from these devices. When his energy reaches 100 points, Vorasius will begin casting Cosmic Unraveling.

During this phase, the mechanical devices will continuously generate Orbs of Concentrated Void; Salhadaar will periodically draw these orbs toward himself and cast Reckless Infusion.

If you destroy these orbs prematurely, doing so will inflict Galactic Miasma debuff upon all players. Furthermore, while Cosmic Unraveling is active, Uncontainable Cosmos contained within the boss will erupt, unleashing Cosmic Barrage.

Tier 3 Bosses: Vaelgor & Ezzorak and Lightblinded Vanguard

    Vaelgor & Ezzorak

This encounter effectively features two co-bosses, a brother and sister duo. Initially, they will alternate between aerial and ground combat, swapping positions by casting Midnight Flames; ultimately, they will join forces on the ground to launch a combined, all-out assault.

Notably, during this battle, you will be aided by Lightbound Vanguard as allies; they are capable of providing a Radiant Barrier, serving as a protective sanctuary, to nearby players.

If a player makes direct contact with an enemy during combat, they will be afflicted with Gloomtouched. Additionally, enemies will utilize Nullbeam to create a Nullzone and establish a link with a player; if you stretch this link too far, it will trigger a Nullsnap or Nullzone Implosion.

    Lightblinded Vanguard

This encounter consists of a combination of multiple mini-bosses: Lightblood, Bellamy, and Senn, all of whom are members of Lightblinded Vanguard.

At the start of the battle, each boss begins with full energy and grants a buff to their two allies:

    • Lightblood: While at full health, Lightblood activates Aura of Wrath, increasing Holy damage dealt by all allies within a 40-yard radius by 100%, while simultaneously inflicting 20 damage per second to any players standing within that area.
    • Senn: If you attack any other enemy while under the effects of Aura of Peace, you will be afflicted with a Pacify effect.
    • Bellamy: After you are struck by Divine Toll, Bellamy applies a lingering Silence effect to you.

Tier 4 Boss: Crown of the Cosmos

In this ultimate boss encounter within Voidspire raid, the true adversary you face is Alleria Windrunner.

She launches periodic attacks, utilizing Void-based effects and Silverstrike Arrow to strike indiscriminately at both allies and enemies alike.

During this phase, Undying Sentinels will appear on the battlefield to engage and contain the boss; however, once all the sentinels have been eliminated, the boss will lunge onto the platform and create a Rift Simulacrum.

This simulacrum will utilize Call of the Void and Ranger General's Mark to attack you and your party. You can destroy the simulacrum, but doing so will trigger the boss to unleash an even more intense barrage of void attacks.

    Available rewards

Based on the boss tier and raid difficulty, the item levels for both fixed rewards and random drops you can obtain are as follows:

    Tier 1 Boss:

    • LFR: 233
    • Normal: 246
    • Heroic: 259
    • Mythic: 272
    • Crest Dropped: Veteran Dawncrest

    Tier 2 Bosses:

    • LFR: 237
    • Normal: 250
    • Heroic: 263
    • Mythic: 276
    • Crest Dropped: Champion Dawncrest

    Tier 3 Bosses:

    • Crest Dropped: Hero Dawncrest

    Tier 4 Boss:

    • LFR: 243
    • Normal: 256
    • Heroic: 269
    • Mythic: 282
    • Crest Dropped: Myth Dawncrest

Additionally, the four bosses within Tiers 2-3 will also drop Tier Set tokens for specific gear slots:

    • Vorasius: Hands
    • Fallen-King Salhadaar: Shoulders
    • Vaelgor & Ezzorak: Legs
    • Lightblinded Vanguard: Helm

If you have sufficient time, we recommend completing Voidspire raid before March on Quel'Danas content goes live, to ensure your subsequent gaming experience remains uninterrupted! Happy gaming!

WoW Midnight New World Event Prey Mode | Unlock the Final Mount Reward by Conquering All Difficulties!

    Posted: Mar 02, 2026Views: 2229

As the second chapter of World Soul Saga, WoW Midnight's full version is about to launch! While its main gameplay is similar to other new WoW servers released in the past two years, it also boasts several unique features.

For example, within the broader category of World Events, Midnight adds a brand-new built-in mode called Prey. While the overall difficulty of this event may not be as high as raids or high-level dungeons, you'll still need to understand the relevant information to better experience it.

Below, we'll provide you with information on how to unlock Prey mode, its gameplay, rewards, and other key content to help you progress through the event faster.

WoW Midnight New World Event Prey Mode | Unlock the Final Mount Reward by Conquering All Difficulties!

    Prey mode overview

As part of WoW Midnight World Events, Prey is a systematic mechanism that releases quests of varying difficulty. Your task is to complete these quests to progress, unlocking rewards and the next level of challenge.

These quests typically require you to travel to certain zones of Quel'Thalas and defeat specific enemies. All missions are divided into three difficulty levels, but they are not all released at once:

    • After Early Access opens (February 26th): Normal Difficulty
    • After Full Release opens (March 2nd): Hard Difficulty
    • After Season 1 launches (March 17th): Nightmare Difficulty

If you haven't completed enough Normal Difficulty Prey challenges yet, don't worry. This guide should help you improve your progress quickly, provided you are familiar with the game's combat mechanics.

    How to unlock this mode?

Unlocking this mode doesn't require any additional level or ability from your character. All you need to do is enter the core city, Silvermoon City, and find the key NPC, Astalor Bloodsworn.

After interacting with him, he will give you the questline Prey: Astalor's Initiative. After completing all the quests (the last one is To the Sanctum!), find Hunt Table in Astalor's Sanctum to unlock Prey mode - but only Normal Difficulty is included.

After unlocking, continue clicking on the table, and it will display the corresponding event map, listing the quests you can complete and their locations.

To unlock the later two difficulty levels, you need to wait for the corresponding opening time and level up your character to the maximum level of 90. After that, you can change the difficulty through Hunt Table in Astalor's Sanctum.

Hard and Nightmare difficulties will add more affixes to Prey mode. On top of that, you'll need to defeat more and more dangerous enemies, but the corresponding WoW Midnight gold rewards will also increase, and you can also obtain higher-level gear or Dawncrest.

    How to complete Prey quests?

Prey quests don't directly indicate the location of the main enemy like other regular game quests. Instead, an Anguish Crystal will be added to your encounter list.

You need to complete enough prerequisite objectives within the corresponding zone until the crystal turns red and starts glowing. Then, the quest boss's location will be marked on the mini-map, allowing you to complete the entire Prey quest.

    Optional prerequisite objectives include:

    • Complete other world quests
    • Find treasure
    • Defeat enough rare enemies and Remnants of Anguish
    • Find and disarm traps
    • Defend against ambushes and counterattack

    What are Prey affixes?

Prey mode on Normal difficulty has a base affix, based on this, more affixes will be increased with difficulty. These affixes act as difficulty adjusters, making Prey quests more challenging:

    • Normal - Ambush: Targets may ambush you occasionally when you engage other enemies or trigger traps.
    • Hard - Torment: Astalor's artifact deals 2% damage to you, and this value increases as the event progresses.
    • Hard - Hunter's Momentum: Your event progress is reduced if you die within the current zone.
    • Hard - Seeping Gore: Gore may occasionally appear during combat and deal shadow damage to you.
    • Nightmare - Echo of Predation: A bloody spirit will periodically appear and stalk you; contact will deal shadow damage.
    • Nightmare - Bloody Command: Astalor may occasionally command you to kill enemies; failure will result in physical damage.

What are the rewards for Prey mode?

In completing specific Prey missions, in addition to the items that drop directly, you'll also earn Preyseeker's Journey Points to fill Prey: Season 1 Journey track. This track has ten levels, and each level unlocks a corresponding reward.

While the game doesn't limit how often you complete Prey missions, you only receive 1000 Preyseeker's Journey Points for the first four missions each week, and only 50 after that. Therefore, four times a week is sufficient.

Additionally, sometimes completing missions may reward you with a Preyseeker's Adventurer Chest. Opening it may yield the following loot:

    • Gear corresponding to the mission difficulty level
    • Preyseeker's Journey Points
    • Veteran Dawncrest
    • Tormented Tantalum

Besides progressing through Prey mode itself, completing missions will advance Great Vault world progress, unlocking rewards. The rarity of these rewards depends on Prey mission difficulty.

If you obtain Anguish-Scribed Runes, Anguish-Infused Runes, or Anguish-Permeated Runes while completing quests, you can exchange them for other specific currencies at Construct V'anore vendor and then trade them for rewards.

It's worth mentioning that if you defeat all the unique Prey targets on Nightmare difficulty, you can complete Prey: Nightmare Mode III and obtain the ultimate mount reward, Preyseeker's Nightmare.

Based on WoW Midnight's Player Housing system, Prey Mode also offers related rewards. Defeating bosses on Hard and Nightmare difficulties will reward you with Preyseeker Bust and Preyseeker Effigy as house decorations, respectively!

These are the main things to know about experiencing Prey Mode and obtaining rewards in World of Warcraft Midnight. A new week has begun, so get started completing quests and progressing through the events!
