BO7 Update 1.093 The Meta Has Shifted! | Weapon Balance Changes, Multiplayer Map Fixes, and Zombies Stability Update

    Posted: Feb 14, 2026Views: 1365

Recently, both CoD Black Ops 7 and Warzone received the new update 1.093. Frankly, judging from the patch size, at only around 500MB on PS, the update seems small. However, since this is a complete update, applicable to all platforms and required for all players to download, it's still worth checking out.

While this update is small in scale, it covers all major game modes, including Multiplayer, Warzone, and Zombies. In addition, many weapons have received significant performance changes. Let's take a look!

BO7 Update 1.093 The Meta Has Shifted! | Weapon Balance Changes, Multiplayer Map Fixes, and Zombies Stability Update

    Weapon Adjustments

The focus of this update is actually on weapon adjustments based on Black Ops 7 Season 2, including improvements to some weapons and their Prestige Attachments, as well as a series of other regular changes to attachments. One change is a reduction in recoil for most damaged barrels and improvements to some rapid-fire attachments. These attachments previously had significant drawbacks and low usage rates. Therefore, with this adjustment, they are now more advantageous.

    Assault Rifle

    • EGRT-17: Reduced its vertical recoil control penalty and recoil gun kick penalty.
    • Maddox RFB: Increased the strength and deviation of view kick and gun kick. This will make mid-to-long-range engagements more challenging, especially without certain recoil attachments.
    • AK-27: Also saw reduced vertical recoil control penalty and recoil gun kick penalty, making it easier to use.
    • X9 Maverick: Jump and landing stability increased by 40% to 60%.
    • DS20 Mirage: Improved maximum damage range and prestige attachment; its integrated launcher rate of fire is now also faster.
    • Peacekeeper Mk1: Reduced heavy barrel recoil penalty. Additionally, the bolt assembly's rate of fire has been increased, and the horizontal recoil penalty has been reduced.

    Submachine Gun

    • REV-46: Minor damage adjustments were made, slightly increasing headshot chance within mid-range damage, and barrel damage was also improved.
    • Ryden 45K: Recoil penalty on the Slim-Mod Barrel was reduced.
    • Razor 9mm: Recoil penalty on the Impact Barrel was reduced.
    • Carbon 57: Recoil penalty on the Heavy Barrel was reduced.
    • MPC-25: Barrel damage was adjusted, and range was increased across the board. Horizontal recoil penalty on the bolt assembly was also reduced.

    LMG

As for the Light Machine Gun (LMG), all weapon attachments except the MK.78 were improved, primarily focusing on handling and mobility.

    • Sokol 545: In addition to the standard LMG changes, the neck damage multiplier was increased to 1.2x, and the overheat time of the Belt Fed Magazine was extended.
    • MK78: The Belt Fed design of this gun revolves around spraying and hunting, sacrificing long-range accuracy to balance its performance. Two adjustments were also made to its maximum damage radius, resulting in players now needing two headshots to kill a target. Therefore, the MK78's damage at maximum and mid-range is slightly reduced.
    • XM325: Received a series of attachment updates, improving mobility and reducing recoil penalty.

    Marksman Rifle

    • M8A1: The Deadeye Barrel received improved handling, with a significantly reduced recoil penalty.
    • Warden 308: The hold breath feature was removed because it allowed players to perform other actions, such as interrupting the scope for close-range attacks.
    • M34 Novaline: Received some attachment updates; its Prestige Attachment is designed to sacrifice some long-range for improved handling.

    Sniper Rifle

There has been much discussion about sniper rifles being too powerful, so two major changes have been made to balance the weapon: Strelok Laser and target flinch. The laser designator now has a longer activation and deactivation time, improving bullet spread during aiming. Regarding muzzle recoil, instead of increasing the base stats of sniper rifles, the recoil resistance boosts have been redistributed across different attachments, making your muzzle more stable.

    • Hawker HX: Aim speed has also been slightly adjusted and improved. Some attachment updates also relate to target flinch.
    • VS Recon & Shadow SK: Flinch Resistance has been updated.
    • XR-3 Ion: Received several adjustments, including reduced muzzle flinch and shorter aiming time.

    Pistol

    • Velox 5.7: Anvil Barrel recoil penalty reduced, rate of fire increased.
    • CODA 9: Bolt assembly recoil penalty reduced, rate of fire increased.

    Launcher

    • A.R.C. M1: Fixed an issue where the low ammo warning was not displayed.

    Multiplayer Update

Regarding multiplayer maps, this update primarily optimizes Scar, Sake, Den, and Exposure areas, and fixes some collision zones.

Additionally, updates have been made to some modes to address issues in Overload and Safeguard modes. For example, players equipped with the Ninja Perk often couldn't hear other players' footsteps, which severely impacted the gameplay experience. Fortunately, this issue has now been resolved. The silence field duration after a kill is now extended.

Notably, this update also includes some audio improvements, fixing an issue in Item Chase mode where items and hunters couldn't hear jump, slide, or walking sounds. Additionally, restrictions in Ranked Play have been updated and are now fully implemented.

    Zombies

Zombies mode has also received some updates. This includes bug fixes for Mars Survival mode, the issue of players being unable to be attacked by Hellhound fire in Dead Ops Arcade, and some Field Upgrades-related issues. Additionally, progress tracking errors in some weekly challenges and other Camo challenges have been updated.

On the UI side, they fixed an issue where players could edit gear configurations in Cursed Survival mode. They also fixed an issue where the total number of available uses remained unchanged after switching Field Upgrades, as well as several other stability issues.

These updates aim to optimize weapon balance and fix progress-related bugs in this mode.

In summary, the 1.093 update brings a series of key improvements following the release of CoD BO7 Season 2, including weapon tuning, enhanced gear performance stability, and optimizations for major game modes, all designed to provide players with a better gaming experience!

Black Ops 7 Season 2 Release Date, Ranked Play, and More Iconic Maps Returning!

    Posted: Jan 12, 2026Views: 11035

CoD Black Ops 7 Season 1 is halfway through, and player reviews are mixed, with veteran players generally preferring the deeper progression system and classic map experience. However, Season 1's intensive skill-based matchmaking (SBMM) and complex game mechanics make it less accessible than its predecessor, resulting in a frustrating learning curve; although some enjoy the new maps and improved gunplay.

Therefore, many players are turning their attention to BO7 Season 2, seeing it as another chance to turn things around. We're also eager to see what the developers have in store: what changes will there be to multiplayer and Zombies? Will there be a large-scale crossover event like Fallout in the new season?

As expected with the release of Season 1 Reloaded, a series of new leaks about future seasons and beyond have surfaced, which we'll summarize here. Let's take a look!

Black Ops 7 Season 2 Release Date, Ranked Play, and More Iconic Maps Returning!

    Season 2 Release Date

First, it's confirmed that Black Ops 7 Season 2 will officially launch on February 5th at 9 AM Pacific Time, meaning there's less than a month until release, assuming no delays. While delays aren't impossible, for a game like Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, the likelihood is extremely low.

If the February 5th release date is confirmed, we'd like to quickly cover a few related promotional dates.

The official announcement confirms that details about Season 2 and its Reloaded Zombies content will be revealed starting January 15th. However, this likely means Zombies DLC 2 won't be released alongside Season 2 in February, but rather around late February or early March, coinciding with Season 2 Reloaded update release.

However, the studio should release the full update notes and Season 2 roadmap two weeks later, on January 29th. Typically, there's about a 7-day gap between the announcement and promotion of a new season and its actual release.

In addition, they are expected to reveal the full Battle Pass and cosmetic items for Season 2 around February 3rd, two days before the new season launch. Many fans, after a period of slump, are still eager to experience a different, perhaps even better, Call of Duty gameplay experience.

    Ranked Play

Of the new content for Season 2, Ranked Play is definitely the most anticipated part for players craving intense competition.

Ranked Play is scheduled to launch alongside Season 2 on February 5th, 2026, provided there are no last-minute delays. This specific date aligns with several clues found in the game, including Battle Pass countdown timer and the week number displayed in Weekly Challenges menu.

Black Ops 7 Ranked Play is designed for players seeking a high level of competition. Instead of using a random public match lobby, this mode adopts rules derived from Call of Duty League, featuring a meaningful ranking system and a thrilling matchmaking mechanism. In this mode, skill level, map control, and teamwork are all essential. Each match rewards players with a deep understanding of the map, knowing when to move and correctly completing objectives.

It's worth noting that Ranked Play is likely to include the following main competitive modes:

    • Hardpoint: A rotating objective mode where teams compete for control of a constantly changing area to gain points; the first team to reach 250 points wins.
    • Search & Destroy: A turn-based, no-respawn mode. The attacking team plants the bomb, and the defending team defuses it; team wipe is also key to victory. Therefore, this mode emphasizes strategic equipment combinations, map control, and cautious gameplay, making it crucial for competitive play.
    • Overload: An objective-based multiplayer mode where two six-player teams compete to transport an Overload Device to one of two designated areas on the opposing team to score points, creating an intense back-and-forth battle designed to test team organization and strategy.

These objective-oriented modes provide the strategic depth required for competitive play, emphasizing teamwork and individual skill rather than simply getting kills, aligning with the competitive principles of Call of Duty.

    New Camo

In addition, Black Ops 7 Season 2 will introduce brand new camo, primarily through the new Weapon Prestige and leaderboard system, further enriching the existing camo variety in the game:

    • Two Dead Ops Arcade 4 camos, seemingly related to leaderboard events;
    • Two multiplayer camos, also possibly related to leaderboard events;
    • Two Weekly Challenges camos, corresponding to Week 5 and Week 8 or 9 of Season 2, respectively;
    • Two Endgame camos, one dynamic and one static, possibly related to new world events or Easter eggs;
    • Two Zombies camos, one dynamic and one static.

In short, Season 2 expands upon the extensive camo system introduced at launch, providing more new ways to unlock and customize weapons.

    New Collaboration & Event Pass

According to leaked information, CoD BO7 will launch a new collaboration event midway through Season 2, releasing another event pass as part of the collaboration. Will this collaboration be as large-scale as Fallout collaboration? Will it be like Black Ops 6 and Squid Game updates, with one or more decent limited-time modes for each core game mode in addition to the regular event pass? It's all still unknown.

However, we can expect new weapons, camo, and advanced systems like Weapon Prestige to help you master weapons more deeply.

    Multiplayer Maps

Regarding multiplayer maps, I know many people are asking about Stakeout, but it's currently just a rumor, and it's unclear whether it will be retained. I think if it's going to be added to BO7, it should be coming soon.

While the new Call of Duty maps are certainly exciting, sometimes returning to old battlefields has a unique charm. Returning to classic maps is an effective way to evoke nostalgia among fans, which is why CoD developers have repeatedly found it effective.

According to leakers, remasters of Yemen, Plaza, and Slums maps seem to be in development plans for the next season of Black Ops 7. These three maps all debuted in BO2, but only Slums appeared in subsequent installments. If the news is true, remastered versions of these three popular maps may soon return to players' screens!

It's worth noting that since this is just a leak, there's no guarantee it will actually happen, but it aligns perfectly with the developer's seasonal update strategy for the series in recent years.

    Leaked Weapons

Additionally, after Reloaded update, a new list of weapon codenames has circulated among players. The leaker claims these weapons may be released in Season 2, but not all of them. The weapons they mentioned include:

    • Alcor (Pistol)
    • Bear (SMG)
    • Finch (AR)
    • Coral (Sniper)
    • Sargas (Special)
    • Nashira (Melee)

It's fantastic to see that each weapon category might receive several new weapons in the remaining seasons of CoD BO7. Whether it's remastered versions of classic weapons or entirely new ones, I think BO7 currently has a very rich weapon selection. Which classic weapons do you think should return in the new season?

As you can see, CoD Black Ops 7 Season 2 is significantly larger than its predecessors, even surpassing the scale of any recent Call of Duty update. Typically, Season 1 was one of the largest updates, and while Season 2 was also substantial, it remained relatively smaller, primarily serving as supplementary content. However, it seems the next season update is breaking this pattern.

Currently, Season 2 blends nostalgic futuristic action elements with entirely new content. Perhaps we can truly expect this update to reignite players' desire for the classic Black Ops experience within a modern Call of Duty framework.

Black Ops 7 x Fallout Collaboration Explained: Release Date, LTMs, Nuketown Variant & More Predictions

    Posted: Dec 31, 2025Views: 2078

As CoD Black Ops 7 Season 1 approaches its mid-season point, a new Reloaded Update is on the horizon, bringing with it new limited-time modes, weapons, maps, and more. However, the most significant part of this update is undoubtedly Call of Duty and Fallout collaboration, one of their first updates in 2026, which will set the tone for almost the entire year's worth of game content.

So, what can you expect from this BO7 x Fallout collaboration? Will it be as underwhelming as Black Ops 7 and Squid Game collaboration? Here's a breakdown of all the major updates in this event!

Black Ops 7 x Fallout Collaboration Explained: Release Date, LTMs, Nuketown Variant & More Predictions

    Release Date

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Fallout collaboration is expected to officially launch on January 8, 2026, in the game's Season 1 Reloaded update, bringing with it operators such as Maximus, Lucy, and The Ghoul in Power Armor, as well as a Fallout Mojave Desert-themed Nuketown map variant.

Notably, this collaboration will offer not only a paid event pass but also a free rewards track, including free operators, camos, and DLC weapons.

This collaboration coincides with December 16th premiere of the second season of Fallout TV series, and is sure to satisfy many players' desire for immersive gameplay, allowing them to experience combat and survival in a post-apocalyptic world.

    Fallout-themed Nuketown Variant

Before we begin, we must issue a disclaimer: since the developers haven't released all the details yet, the information we have is based on trailers that only show silhouettes. Therefore, the final actual event content may differ from the current predictions.

In this collaboration, Call of Duty has prepared new content for almost every mode.

In multiplayer mode, we have a Fallout-themed Nuketown variant map.

Nuketown seems to be updated into a radiation-contaminated Fallout theme, which has been confirmed by two different sources: one is the official Call of Duty podcast stating that there will be a new variant map, and the other is the appearance of Nuketown in the background of Call of Duty trailer. So, it will undoubtedly be a Fallout-themed map.

However, we speculate that there might be some small Easter eggs waiting for us to discover, such as the mannequin Easter Egg. Since we haven't found this Easter egg on Nuketown map yet, we speculate that they might have reserved these Easter eggs for this variant map and will include some Fallout-related elements.

We also considered another possibility: perhaps this Nuketown variant will be like Las Vegas in Fallout series, where radiation dust storms might occasionally appear on the map, requiring players to seek cover, such as hiding in buildings or engaging enemies directly through underground passages. This fits perfectly with the overall Fallout theme. Therefore, we can expect to see similar designs in this variant version of Nuketown map.

Power Armor-themed Multiplayer Limited-Time Mode (LTM)

In addition to the map variant, a Limited-Time Mode (LTM) will also be added to multiplayer.

When we first heard this news, we thought of Warhammer 40,000 crossover event in Modern Warfare III, so is it possible that they will also release a Power Armor mode this time?

That is, one Power Armor team against another Power Armor team. Players will be able to move freely on the map using a third-person perspective, similar to Warhammer LTM, using various equipment from Fallout series and engaging in combat.

Since this mode was playable on almost all maps in MW3, they can likely implement this mode on almost any map this time as well. We believe that even if you are not a fan of Fallout series, you will enjoy this limited-time mode, experiencing something fresh and different.

    Fallout-themed World Boss

Next, in Endgame mode, they might introduce a new World Boss battle.

In the previously leaked trailer, we saw a Power Armor helmet icon. If this leaked image is true, they may have plans for something similar to a mini-boss battle that players can challenge or confront. Perhaps they will require players to wear Power Armor and then fight a larger boss.

There might be some special Power Armor weapon crates that provide blueprints, allowing players to use weapons from Fallout series in Endgame mode.

    Zombies Limited-Time Mode (LTM)

For Zombies mode, a limited-time mode is also expected. However, not much information has been revealed yet. So, we speculate that they will probably release a game similar to Red Light, Green Light game from the previous Squid Game collaboration.

To be honest, I don't think they'll drastically change the map and introduce new variants, as they've already done something similar in Astra Malorum Christmas limited-time mode, so making major changes now wouldn't be a very wise decision.

However, it would be more reasonable if they only made changes to a specific area of the map. For example, Barn area looks a bit like Fallout style, and they could design something along those lines.

COD BO7 Bot Lobbies 2026 Free Giveaways at IGGM Discord

    Warzone Fallout Themed Update

The last and most mysterious mode in all the modes is Warzone collaboration update. Currently, they haven't revealed any relevant information, so we can only make reasonable inferences based on previous events.

For example, they might introduce a limited-time mode similar to the previous Get High mode, adding sandstorms, forcing players to seek cover and scavenge for extra loot; or some limited-time modes that provide power-ups, where you can gain abilities such as super jumps, laser vision, or flight.

They might also add similar changes to Fallout-themed mode. One location could be completely filled with Fallout elements, which would attract many people to land in that area. It could become a popular landing spot where players can get better loot and have more opportunities to engage in gunfights, instead of the game becoming boring and tedious at a certain stage, as in the normal mode. In such a location, the fighting would always be continuous.

In short, the above is all the new content we know about CoD Black Ops 7 x Fallout event based on current leaks and trailers, and it's not yet ultimate confirmation. So, what are your thoughts and opinions on this Fallout collaboration?

From the looks of it, Call of Duty is likely to do something really great this time. Hopefully, they can set a new benchmark with this collaboration, so we can expect similar levels of quality in future collaborations.

CoD BO7 Supported By AMD Adrenalin 25.11.1 Driver: Performance Boosts, Installation Steps And New Potential Issues

    Posted: Nov 24, 2025Views: 2281

It's been exactly 10 days since CoD: Black Ops 7 officially launched. What do you think? Frankly, BO7 delivers one of the best Call of Duty multiplayer experiences in recent years. It not only fully leverages the foundation of BO6, with excellent gunplay, responsiveness, and smoothness, but the addition of vehicles also diversifies movement and combat, bringing a satisfying blend of large-scale exploration and classic close-quarters combat.

However, so many settings and system optimizations pose a significant challenge to game stability and player device requirements. While recent patches have improved game performance, with some players reporting that frame rates and responsiveness aren't severely impacting the experience, others still encounter issues such as desynchronization, latency, and crashes, especially among players with specific hardware configurations or those playing the solo campaign. These unstable performance issues are also the most criticized aspects of CoD BO7 since its release.

Fortunately, AMD recently released the latest Adrenalin Edition 25.11.1 WHQL drivers, officially adding support for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Anno 117: Pax Romana, and ARC Raiders. This update may break the current embarrassing situation of frequent crashes and errors in BO7.

CoD BO7 Supported By AMD Adrenalin 25.11.1 Driver: Performance Boosts, Installation Steps, And New Potential Issues

    Driver Optimization Details

Adrenalin Edition 25.11.1 driver update includes game-specific optimizations, fixes issues such as crashes after enabling Easy Anti-Cheat, and ensures compatibility with super-sampling technologies like DLSS 4 and FSR, which are crucial for maintaining high frame rates in games. This driver prevents performance issues like stuttering and ensures stability during game launch and when using Radeon Overlay.

The game engine is built with AMD instruction sets in mind, giving Radeon GPUs an advantage. This update also fixes an issue where CPU metrics might not display in AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition application, ensuring performance monitoring tools function correctly.

In addition, Adrenalin 25.11.1 and later driver versions include specific optimizations for BO7, ensuring optimal performance and compatibility.

    • This driver update enables AMD FSR Ray Regeneration in BO7 for compatible GPUs, which improves the visual quality of ray tracing by reducing noise.
    • Performance issues such as rendering thread latency and frame synchronization problems that older driver versions might have caused in Black Ops 7 have also been resolved.
    • A crash issue when using Radeon Overlay in games like CoD BO7 with Easy Anti-Cheat enabled has been fixed.

    How To Install This Driver?

Therefore, if you want to improve operational stability, you can try installing this updated driver version. Next, we will show you how to update the graphics driver for Black Ops 7. The operation is very simple, so let's get straight to the point.

Whether you play CoD: Black Ops 7 on Steam, Battle.net, Xbox Game Pass, or the PC version, the operation method is exactly the same.

    1. First, you need to ensure that Black Ops 7 is completely closed and not running in the background.
    2. Next, you need to open NVIDIA app. If you haven't installed NVIDIA app yet, please install it first.
    3. After installation, open the app and tap the left sidebar, then select the driver section.
    4. Then, you will see a Game Ready Drivers option. Above this small icon, you will see GeForce Game Ready Drivers labeled Installed, Needs to be installed, or Update Ready.
    5. Tap Download or Update in the upper right corner.
    6. After the download is complete, tap Install. The installation process may take a few minutes. This driver is specifically optimized for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and supports features such as DLSS 4, Multi Frame Generation, and NVIDIA Reflex.
    7. Please note: The screen may go black a few times during installation, but after installation, the best solution is to restart your computer and then launch Black Ops 7 again. Everything will be ready. It's that simple.

However, it's important to note that even with specific optimizations in AMD Adrenalin 25.11.1, regular driver updates are still recommended to fix bugs, improve performance, and ensure compatibility with Black Ops 7's operating system.

CoD BO7 AMD Adrenalin 25.11.1 Driver Update

    Potential Issues

While this update fixes the bug causing crashes in Black Ops 7 because of a conflict with Easy Anti-Cheat on Radeon Overlay, as well as some performance and compatibility issues, is everything perfect after the update?

The reality is not so optimistic. In fact, some users have reported a performance decrease after updating this driver, with more frequent stutters and driver crashes.

However, neither AMD nor Call of Duty has provided any explanation for this issue. Therefore, we can only speculate that this situation varies depending on the player's hardware and system configuration, meaning that not all users will encounter the same problem or experience the same improvements.

Buy IGGM Cheap COD BO7 Bot Lobbies

How To Deal With This Issue?

Because the true cause of this situation is currently unknown, to avoid further impacting the gaming experience, it is recommended that you immediately check your updates and ensure you are using the latest driver version for the most stable performance.

Additionally, if you're using an uncommon system configuration to play Black Ops 7, you might want to postpone your update or check if other users with similar hardware have already updated. This can help you avoid some of the risks and issues that have already surfaced.

Finally, before updating, make sure to back up all important data in case of system failure.

In summary, this Adrenalin Edition 25.11.1 driver update adds game support for COD Black Ops 7, improves stability by fixing Radeon Overlay and Easy Anti-Cheat issues, and restores CPU metrics in AMD Software.

Unfortunately, while these improvements make the game more reliable and enhance BO7 player experience by fixing critical bugs, some vulnerabilities still need to be addressed. Therefore, focusing on fixing current issues is clearly more important at this time than releasing more new features.
