ARC Raiders may tackle False Bans and Game-Breaking Vanguard Set Bugs via new patch ahead of Expedition 3

    Posted: Apr 13, 2026Views: 564

The excitement surrounding Flashpoint has yet to subside, yet the departure window for Expedition 3, set to open at the end of the month, along with Riven Tides update scheduled for April, already seem poised for launch.

To ensure the game remains fresh and continues to generate buzz, a prolonged lead-up to upcoming content is essential.

Furthermore, starting with this new departure window, the development team intends to implement additional optimizations to Expedition gameplay mechanics.

In this article, drawing upon plans recently leaked by ARC Raiders staff over the past weekend, we will predict potential changes to Expedition mechanics as well as the likely contents of this week's patch.

ARC Raiders may tackle False Bans and Game-Breaking Vanguard Set Bugs via new patch ahead of Expedition 3

    Expedition 3 schedule

This expedition commenced immediately following the conclusion of Expedition 2 departure window on March 2nd.

It consists of five distinct phases involving the collection and submission of various materials; upon completing these phases, a decision will be made on April 29th regarding whether to open a new departure window.

Notably, since ARC Raiders updates are almost invariably released on Tuesdays, Riven Tides update scheduled for April is expected to launch concurrently with the opening of Expedition 3 departure window.

This window will remain open for just under a week, closing on May 4th. Afterward, your character's entire progression will be reset, requiring you to start farming from scratch, though it has been stated that you will also receive new permanent buffs.

Typically, at this stage, the better choice is to buy ARC Raiders blueprints from IGGM; utilize our fast and secure service to instantly craft powerful weapons and dominate the new battlefields!

What changes might be coming to expeditions?

The original Expedition design required players to submit an additional 5 million coins at the conclusion of the preparation phase. Subsequently, this requirement was lowered to 3 million coins, alongside the submission of various other requisite materials.

However, the developers recently announced that further adjustments would be made, without explicitly disclosing any specific details.

This has sparked speculation: will the coin requirement simply be lowered once again, or is the entire expedition mechanic facing a complete overhaul?

To be honest, regardless of which scenario comes to pass, it would be best to defer the implementation of these changes until the next expedition cycle.

With only 15 days remaining until the conclusion of Expedition 3, there likely isn't enough time to properly execute such changes; attempting to do so now would likely only serve to create unnecessary complications.

However, the awkward reality is that this isn't the first time something like this has happened; ARC Raiders seems to have a habit of waiting until the very last minute to suddenly change course.

This isn't fair to players, as it means you are forced to hastily adjust your strategies within a mere few weeks.

The primary reason for this is that not everyone has the luxury of playing online around the clock, which would allow them to constantly keep pace with, and adapt to, the game's latest developments.

Since its launch, expedition system has faced criticism for being too demanding while offering rewards that aren't sufficiently enticing. In response, ARC Raiders implemented some changes during Expedition 3; however, these adjustments were clearly not enough.

That said, for an extraction shooter, periodic resets are indeed a necessity; therefore, it becomes all the more crucial to optimize expedition system promptly based on player feedback.

New bugs that may soon be fixed

Among the various changes introduced by Flashpoint update, one notable addition is an upgrade to Scrappy: you can now influence the type of items it produces by feeding it specific foods.

Consequently, if you wish to obtain better topside materials, such as Rubber Parts, Fabric, or Chemicals, from Scrappy, you can do so by feeding it Fruit Mix.

This particular food item requires you to consume lemon, apricot, and prickly pear to craft, a process that becomes available only after unlocking In-Round Crafting skill.

However, a recent glitch has emerged where players are unable to craft Fruit Mix once they return to Speranza.

While this isn't a lethal bug (given that Scrappy isn't, after all, the primary source of loot), it nonetheless negatively impacts the gaming experience for a significant number of players.

Another issue that has been causing quite a stir within ARC Raiders community recently is the phenomenon of false bans, instances where players are erroneously banned, which, for some inexplicable reason, appears to be on the rise.

If you have been playing ARC Raiders, or any other shooter game, for that matter, you are likely well aware that cheating is a widespread and serious problem. Beyond exploits stemming from the game's own bugs, there are individuals who resort to using specialized devices or mods to gain an unfair advantage.

While bugs can be patched, other forms of cheating can only be combated through specialized plugins or devices. The unfortunate reality, however, is that these anti-cheat systems are not always sophisticated enough, leading to instances of false bans.

This issue is particularly distressing for players with disabilities who rely on specialized external peripherals to play the game; they have, regrettably, become the primary victims of these erroneous bans.

Over the past few weeks, ARC Raiders team has been working diligently to address this issue. Regrettably, they have yet to find a definitive, permanent solution; for the time being, the only recourse available is to provide a follow-up response to players once they have filed an appeal.

Another rather noticeable in-game bug occurs when you equip Vanguard Set, introduced in Patch 1.23.0, causing your character to go haywire.

    ARC Raiders Vanguard Set

Specifically, the various cosmetic components of the set will flail wildly and drift erratically across the screen; not only does this look unsightly and bizarre, but it also obstructs a portion of the player's field of view.

Even more frustrating is that if this bug is triggered by another player equipping Vanguard Set, there is absolutely nothing you can do through any in-game action to fix or avoid it yourself.

Until this issue is resolved, your only recourse is to simply avoid equipping the set, though admittedly, it does boast a very appealing aesthetic. Fortunately, the development team has confirmed that this bug will be addressed in an upcoming patch.

That covers the key highlights we have to share regarding the latest developments in ARC Raiders. All that remains now is for you to use Flashpoint update content to gear up for the new expedition window! Good luck!

ARC Raiders Expedition 3 Schedule Revealed | Collect Enough Items before the Next Reset to Unlock More Rewards!

    Posted: Mar 05, 2026Views: 1493

Expeditions are a key mechanic in ARC Raiders, ensuring you always have enough motivation to keep playing, rather than just sitting idle with a pile of loot.

Each expedition consists of a preparation phase of about two months and a final window of about one week. The end of the departure window signifies the completion of the account reset.

The second expedition window ended on March 1st. If you participated, you should now be working hard to reclaim everything for your character, who has nothing. But in the meantime, don't forget to prepare for the third expedition!

ARC Raiders Expedition 3 Schedule Revealed | Collect Enough Items before the Next Reset to Unlock More Rewards!

    Expedition 3 schedule

The preparation phase for the third expedition began after the Expedition 2 window ended, and Expedition 3 departure window will open on April 29, 2026. This means you have approximately 58 days to prepare for the next reset.

Based on this, Expedition 3 departure window is expected to end in the first week of May. In addition, an in-game preview will display a real-time countdown so you can stay updated and adjust your plans accordingly.

It's worth noting that ARC Raiders doesn't force you to participate in the reset. So, if you haven't accumulated enough resources to complete the quests by then, or if you find starting from scratch too arduous, you can choose not to enter the expedition.

Furthermore, the start of the new expedition means the weekly trials in the game have also entered a new Season 3, but this won't significantly affect the trial update frequency or method.

What to do during Expedition 3 preparation phase?

The preparation phase usually requires you to collect and submit a specified amount or total value of resources to obtain expedition rewards, which will be a significant boost after the reset.

Some of these rewards are temporary, while others are permanent. The permanent rewards are the main draw, attracting more players to participate in expeditions because they greatly benefit the long-term development of your characters.

The third expedition requires you to submit the following items in stages:

    Stage 1: Foundation

    • 150x Metal Parts
    • 100x Chemicals
    • 80x ARC Alloy
    • 15x Steel Springs

    Stage 2: Core Systems

    • 30x Durable Cloth
    • 25x Wires
    • 20x Electrical Components
    • 3x Industrial Charger

    Stage 3: Framework

    • 1x Coffee Pot
    • 35x Battery
    • 5x Firefly Burner
    • 1x Exodus Modules

    Stage 4: Outfitting

    • 1x Broken Guidance System
    • 5x Advanced Electrical Components
    • 3x Breathtaking Snow Globe
    • 2x Bombardier Cell

    Stage 5: Load Stage

    • 200,000 coins worth of combat items
    • 100,000 coins worth of survival items
    • 150,000 coins worth of provisions
    • 300,000 coins worth materials

In general, these items aren't difficult to obtain. The key is to invest a significant amount of time completing enough raids and ensuring you fully explore all areas and containers each time.

If you participated in Expedition 2, you can use the rewards to help your character recover from the reset as quickly as possible. Additionally, the new map event Hurricane, introduced in the Shrouded Sky update, is the best place to acquire various resources.

It's worth noting that Stage 5 collection quest only requires the value of the items. So, if you have enough coins but no time to collect loot, you can directly consume the corresponding amount of coins to trade.

While this might seem a bit silly, it does save your time, especially since the reset will begin shortly after Stage 5 ends, at which point your coins will be cleared anyway!

What are the rewards for Expedition 3?

If you submit all items within the time limit and complete your character reset with the third expedition, you'll receive the following rewards:

    • 24 extra inventory slots
    • Extra Scrappy materials
    • Increased XP gains
    • Up to 5 extra skill points
    • Unique cosmetic items related to this expedition

While these rewards may not seem as eye-catching as rare blueprints or weapons at first glance, they fundamentally accelerate your character's progression, which is precisely the charm of the expedition gameplay!

It's worth noting that skill points are related to the total value of your remaining items: You'll gain one skill point for every 600,000 coins. Therefore, to obtain all the extra skill points, you'll need at least 3 million coins.

    What should you do now?

While gathering resources for the third expedition is important, it would be a mistake to focus solely on the items! True top ARC Raiders players should dominate PvPvE battles while completing the mission!

Of course, if you lack confidence in winning PvP battles, focusing on friendly PvE matchmaking is also viable - ARC Raiders has become increasingly casual player-friendly in recent months.

In the early stages of the new season, you can obtain various materials by defeating ARC enemies, explore different areas to find low-level but useful weapon blueprints to craft gear, and then use them to further explore the maps and find higher-level loot.

Before Expedition 3 window opens, the game is expected to release updates in March and April 2026 - the latter is likely very close to the expedition's launch date and won't provide much help or new experience for completing the Expedition, so it's not currently considered.

March update, named Flashpoint, is expected to bring new map events, new ARC enemies and game plans, as well as updates for Scrappy.

Just like Hurricane is currently popular, the new events starting in Flashpoint a month later will undoubtedly become a new battleground for collecting Expedition 3 resources, so be prepared before then!

The above is the information you should have to prepare for the third ARC Raiders expedition. Start working hard now, and more rewards await you in the near future!

While expedition rewards can be helpful, a lack of playtime and tough PvP opponents can hinder your progress in new adventures. To avoid these negative impacts, the best solution is to buy ARC Raiders blueprints at IGGM!

Whether it's a precise gun or a powerful grenade, as long as it's a gear that can be crafted through the workshop, you can directly obtain its blueprint through our service and start crafting, completing Expedition 3 resource gathering much faster!
