Tycoon! Monopoly Go Hogwarts Racers has ended, and the next special event is the one-day Gryffindor Drop. While it's short, the rewards are plentiful.

To get the reward tokens and dice skins for this event, you'll need to work hard to collect Peg-E tokens. So let's see how many tokens Winter Wonders banner event offers.

Date

Winter Wonders banner event starts and ends at the exact same time as Gryffindor Drop, from 12 PM EST on January 12th, 2026 to 12 PM EST on January 13th, a total of 24 hours. Remember to use all your Peg-E tokens before the event ends; don't wait until the last minute.

How to Earn Points?

This time, the 62 milestones require a total of 38,095 points. There are three scoring squares on the board:

• Railway (2 points): This square triggers a mini-game and also earns you tournament points.
• Community Chest (1 point): Accumulates progress towards Community Chest.
• Chance (1 point): Draws a card and triggers a random effect.

The best square is undoubtedly Railway square, as it allows you to advance in both Winter Wonders event and the tournament. Therefore, if you manually roll the dice, you can use multipliers of 30 or 50 when you are close to Railway square. However, this is risky because the official dice are not completely random; sometimes they will intentionally land on squares you don't want.

Rewards

Winter Wonders banner event rewards include 15,520 dice and 681 Peg-E tokens. You also get some Monopoly Go stickers, but these are not the main focus.

To earn Gryffindor Drop rewards, 200 to 300 Peg-E tokens alone won't be enough. You'll need to collect as many tokens as possible from Winter Wonders banner event and tournaments.

You can try collecting tokens in the last hour of the event to reduce the risk of being manipulated by the system and increase your chances of landing on your desired squares.

How To Earn Points?

Monopoly Go Winter Wonders banner event still features 62 milestones. While there are many, it's difficult to earn all the rewards. The total score required to unlock all milestone rewards is 43,475. This event requires a lot of points, and the points awarded from each square are very low.

• Chance (1 point): Landing on this square draws a Chance card, which may result in a penalty or a cash reward.
• Community Chest (1 point): Landing on this square allows you and your invited friends to accumulate chest progress. Unlocking chests rewards you with dice, Monopoly Go stickers, and other great prizes. Chest progress resets weekly.
• Railroad (2 points): Landing on a railroad square triggers a mini-game.

Even railroad squares only offer 2 points, but they are also scoring squares in tournaments, which are generally more valuable than banner events. Therefore, it's recommended to focus on tournaments.

If you don't have many dice, it's advisable to skip all these events. If the first-place score is low, you can try to compete for first place on the last day (ideally before the event ends to avoid official manipulation of the results), while Winter Wonders event progresses based on your tournament progress.
