CoD Black Ops 7 Season 4 Release Date and Reveal Maps, Modes Leaks | Your Skill Rating will never be the same again

    Posted: May 20, 2026Views: 3098

Although the official roadmap for Black Ops 7 Season 4 has yet to be revealed, plenty of leaks have already surfaced online.

Around this time each year, not only do we see the unveiling of the current Call of Duty's 4th season, but the marketing campaign for the next Call of Duty title also kicks off simultaneously. Based on all the clues gathered so far, here is a systematic breakdown of every update likely to arrive in Season 4.

CoD Black Ops 7 Season 4 Release Date and Reveal Maps, Modes Leaks | Your Skill Rating will never be the same again

    Season 4 Release Date

According to the current battle pass timer, Season 4 is expected to launch on June 4. That date could shift by one to two weeks due to potential delays, but given that all previous DLC updates for Black Ops 7 have largely stayed on schedule, it is highly likely the team is aiming for this target.

The corresponding marketing push for the new Call of Duty installment is expected to begin on May 27 or 28. At that time, the developers will release a full blog post and roadmap, followed by gameplay trailers and cosmetic deep-dives, with the entire promotional rhythm extending through the first week of June.

    Multiplayer

    Maps

During a Season 3 developer interview, it was confirmed that the multiplayer maps Frequency and Arsenal would be returning to Black Ops 7. Both are classic maps from Black Ops 4. They may be released together during Season 4, or possibly one at a time.

Vertigo map has also been officially acknowledged. In fact, this map was already finished – or nearly finished – months before the game's official launch. Previously, Vertigo could be seen outside the boundaries of Express and Gridlock maps.

According to leaks, Combine and Stronghold from Black Ops 3 might also join the game. While unconfirmed by official sources, these maps would fit BO7 remarkably well. They are small-to-medium sized maps originally designed for jetpacks and wall-running mechanics. However, Black Ops 7 features a wall-jump system, so the developers could definitely adapt such maps accordingly.

    Rank Play Skill Rating System

The developers have confirmed that starting with Season 4, Skill Rating system in Rank Play will become much more transparent. The biggest change: there will no longer be a hidden MMR, nor any inexplicable gains or losses of SR. Your rank, your performance, and the opponents you face will be the only factors influencing your Skill Rating.

After every match, a brand-new post-game summary will detail exactly why you earned or lost each Skill Rating point. If you perform poorly in Rank Play, you can review your mistakes and then head into CoD Black Ops 7 Bot Lobbies to retrain and shore up your fundamental weaknesses.

    Endgame

Officially, the team has confirmed that exciting changes are being prepared for Season 4's Endgame content, but specific details remain unknown – the developers have done an excellent job keeping this under wraps.

Based on patterns from previous seasons, players can expect a brand-new Operation, a new Guild Strike, and a brand-new Glitch Fracture when Season 4 launches.

    Warzone Mode

On Warzone front, players are mostly waiting on features that the developers have discussed for months but have yet to deliver.

Early this year, before Season 1 Warzone integration update, the studio stated that Fortune's Keep would return – they had prepared a newly improved version of the map and planned to release it sometime in the future.

However, the map did not appear in previous seasons. That makes Season 4 the next most likely window. If the team pushes it back any further – to another season – it would be uncomfortably close to the end of the year. Therefore, Fortune's Keep will likely return either at launch or during the mid-season update of Season 4.

During a CoD podcast a few weeks ago, the only mention from official sources was that Plunder is on their radar; they would consider adding it as a limited-time mode rather than a full, permanent mode.

Buy Cheap CoD Black Ops 7 Bot Lobbies at IGGM for Season 4

    Zombies Mode

Zombies mode may be the most significant update in Black Ops 7 Season 4. Given that each season typically lasts eight to nine weeks, the next core round-based Zombies map is expected to arrive around July 2 or July 9 – roughly the mid-season point.

    New Map

Clues regarding the next round-based Zombies map come from two sources: the ending of Totenreich, and hidden details found in Paradox Junction map. Taken together, it is highly likely the new map is set in a volcanic environment, and the main story quest or side Easter egg will involve Takeo Masaki and his katana.

    Survival Maps

Before the new round-based map arrives, Season 4 launch content is expected to include one or two new Survival maps.

Players have already uncovered clues for one of them. Inside the in-game emblem system, there is an emblem called Population: Just You, unlocked by completing wave 10 in Nuked Survival. Additionally, a Nuke Town weapon charm exists, requiring you to survive 25 waves in Nuked Survival. This strongly suggests the next Survival map will be a nuked version of Paradox Junction, likely with some layout modifications.

Another Survival map that could launch simultaneously or shortly after is Lighthouse. Data miners have shared relevant code showing that Beacon Island – from Totenreich scenario – already has dedicated Mystery Box zones, a Rampage Inducer, and isolated zombie spawn points set up for Survival mode.

    Widow's Wine

Since last December, the machine model for Widow's Wine Perk and its corresponding augment upgrades have been leaked for months. Players should expect to see this Perk by Season 4 at the latest – perhaps by drinking from a cave near a Japanese temple.

    Prophet Operator

Following past patterns, any character appearing in the season's end-of-season cut scene almost always becomes the featured character in the following season's Battle Pass. Therefore, players can anticipate Prophet arriving as both an instant unlock and Level 100 top reward in Season 4 Battle Pass.

Some players have worried that Prophet might be turned into an entirely new original character unrelated to his past incarnation. However, based on current information, he is more likely to serve as a key link between the storylines of Black Ops 7 and Black Ops 4, helping players make sense of Black Ops narrative that has grown messy over the years.

    Weapon Leaks

This year, leaks for Black Ops 7 are quite different from previous years: there is very little information about DLC weapons, operator codenames, or crossover content. Nevertheless, data miners have shared a list of future weapon codenames:

    • sat_ar_albatross
    • sat_ar_kiwi
    • sat_sm_mammoth
    • sat_me_maru
    • sat_dm_samar
    • sat_sm_marmot
    • sat_sl_atria
    • sat_sk_compound

As for specific returning weapons, the likely candidates are ICR-1, VMP, and Dingo. Following tradition, each season's Battle Pass includes two new weapons, while the rest are distributed through weekly challenges and special event rewards throughout the season.

That covers all the known information about CoD Black Ops 7 Season 4 so far. For more detailed content, we will still have to wait for the official roadmap.

New Accessibility Feature after Black Ops 7 Season 3 patch update makes the game experience smoother and richer!

    Posted: Apr 15, 2026Views: 588

Since the launch of Season 3 on April 2, the sheer volume of new content made it difficult to entirely avoid the emergence of new bugs.

Consequently, CoD Black Ops 7 has already released three global patches, the most recent of which was deployed just yesterday, April 14.

The first two S3 patches were released on April 9 and April 10, respectively. Notably, the April 9 update also coincided with the launch of a pilot program for new accessibility features within the game.

In this article, based on the game's current state, we will walk you through the details of the latest patch as well as the accessibility features introduced via Cephable platform.

New Accessibility Feature after Black Ops 7 Season 3 patch update makes the game experience smoother and richer!

    April 14 patch notes content

This global patch primarily focuses on fixing bugs related to the game's Challenge system, as well as issues within Multiplayer and Zombies modes.

    General challenge bugs

Challenges are not, strictly speaking, a standalone game mode; rather, they serve as specific objectives set for you across Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies modes, offering rewards upon completion.

Building upon this system, if you reach Level 55 while at Prestige 10, you attain the rank of Prestige Master. Subsequently, for every 100 levels you advance, you can unlock exclusive, high-tier titles by completing specific challenges.

However, prior to the April 14 update, a bug existed where the level requirements displayed for these titles were incorrect; fortunately, this issue has now been resolved.

    Multiplayer Mode bug fixes

As one of the core modes of BO7, Multiplayer features a rich array of content and mechanics, which naturally leads to a higher potential for bugs. We have listed the fixes below:

    Map Bugs:

    • Fixed an issue on Plaza map that could result in unexpected interruptions to a player's line of sight.
    • Fixed an issue on Abyss map where using a Tactical Insertion could cause the player to respawn outside the playable area.

    Gameplay Bugs:

    • Fixed an issue where using a specific device could cause the game timer to pause or prevent the player from dropping the device.
    • Fixed an issue where players might be unable to load into Training Course.

    Scorestreak Bugs:

    • Fixed an issue where Ion Core failed to track XP progression toward its Overclock level.
    • Fixed an issue where calling in EMP Systems could unexpectedly result in the player's death.

    Challenge Bugs:

    • Fixed an issue where Strider 300 base camo challenge was not properly registering one-shot kills.

    Stability Bugs:

    • Implemented general stability improvements, and focus on resolving crashes that could occur in private matches after playing multiple consecutive matches.

Following the release of the aforementioned optimizations, whether you are engaging in live combat in Multiplayer mode or honing your combat skills in Black Ops 7 Bot Lobbies, you will no longer be plagued by these specific bugs.

    Zombies Mode bug fixes

The bugs in this mode were primarily centered around Cursed feature. This core gameplay involves continuously unlocking and activating Relics to increase enemy difficulty and earn greater rewards.

Building upon this foundation, CoD: Black Ops 7 subsequently introduced Cursed Public Matches, expanding access to all players following the launch of Season 3.

With an increase in player participation, the emergence of new issues was inevitable; fortunately, the following bugs have now been resolved:

    • Fixed an issue where Relics were not displayed in Pause Menu during Public Matches.
    • Fixed an issue preventing players from enabling Squad Fill within Cursed Standard or Cursed Survival playlists.

    What are accessibility updates?

Whether intended to accommodate disabled players who require specialized external devices to play CoD BO7, or simply to enhance the game's technological sophistication, the introduction of accessibility features represents a valuable endeavor.

Consequently, Black Ops 7 previously launched a free accessibility pilot program, officially opening access to Cephable platform on April 9, 2026, as the primary method of implementation.

More specifically, this platform allows you to download and utilize Cephable app on your PC or other devices, enabling you to control the game using non-traditional inputs, such as voice commands, facial expressions, and physical movements.

However, given the current state of technology, while this method is capable of generating input signals functionally equivalent to those of a mouse-and-keyboard or controller setup, the additional processing and relay stages involved inevitably result in input latency during actual gameplay.

Therefore, if you wish to experiment with this feature in BO7, it is advisable to avoid using it in highly competitive game modes, as doing so could lead to unnecessary disadvantages.

    How to use this feature?

If you are interested and unconcerned by the current technical limitations, the first step is to download Cephable app on your PC or mobile device. Once installed, link your game account to the app, and then simply complete the necessary custom configuration settings to get started.

Of course, in addition to being potentially unpolished, new technologies can sometimes inadvertently pave the way for new methods of cheating.

While it may be impossible to eliminate cheating entirely, the development team remains steadfast in its commitment to combating such behavior, ensuring that accessibility features do not become a breeding ground for cheaters.

Currently, features of this type have not yet been widely incorporated into the development plans of most games; however, following Call of Duty Black Ops 7, there will undoubtedly be new pioneers exploring this space.

In fact, this represents more than just an advancement in gaming technology, making it possible to provide greater accessibility for those unable to play due to physiological reasons, it also reflects a deep sense of humanistic care.

We hope the information provided here proves helpful as you continue to enjoy Black Ops 7: Season 3! Thank you for reading.

CoD BO7 Escalation Directive Event Rewards Guide | Is SG-12 Shotgun and 8 Camos Worth the Grind?

    Posted: Feb 13, 2026Views: 4188

CoD Black Ops 7 Season 2 has only been out for a week, and you may not have had a chance to experience all the new content yet. But no matter how far you've progressed, now's the time to focus on the new limited-time event!

This event, called Escalation Directive, aims to help you unlock a multitude of the camo rewards by completing a series of objectives across different modes within a set time.

Below, we'll provide a detailed breakdown of the rewards and strategies for obtaining them.

CoD BO7 Escalation Directive Event Rewards Guide | Is SG-12 Shotgun and 8 Camos Worth the Grind?

    Escalation Directive Event schedule

The event officially began at 10:00 AM Pacific Time on February 12th and will continue until the same time on February 26th, giving you two weeks to play.

It's important to note that all camo rewards in this event are time-limited; once missed, they cannot be obtained again. However, SG-12 Shotgun, unlocked after completing 9 challenges within the event, will be added to Armory after the event ends.

    Event mechanics overview

This event adds two camo rewards and corresponding missions to each of Co-Op & Endgame, Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone modes in CoD Bo7.

One camo is a basic reward unlocked by completing one mission in the corresponding weapon class within that mode; the other requires completing all weapon class challenges in that mode.

Based on weapon classes, there are 9 basic challenges in each of the four modes. This means that to obtain all 8 camos, you need to complete 36 missions!

If this is too difficult for you, you can choose to obtain only the 4 basic camos. However, we recommend completing at least 9 challenges to unlock the new weapon, SG-12 Shotgun.

    All Escalation Directive challenges

Next, we will introduce all obtainable Escalation Directive camo rewards and their specific challenges, categorized by mode.

    Co-Op & Endgame

The base camo in this mode is Synthesis, and the ultimate camo reward is Cell Fusion. Weapon class challenges that can be completed include:

    • Assault Rifles: Eliminate 50 special or elite enemies using assault rifles.
    • SMGs: Achieve 30 quick kills with submachine guns.
    • Shotguns: Achieve 150 kills with shotguns while maintaining a combat rating of at least 30.
    • LMGs: Eliminate 300 humans or Guild Bots with light machine guns.
    • Marksman Rifles: Achieve 150 eliminations with a marksman rifle at Rare or higher rank.
    • Sniper Rifles: Achieve 100 kills with a sniper rifle in Zone III or higher danger zones during the endgame stage.
    • Pistols: Eliminate 25 enemies affected by your gear or abilities using pistols.
    • Launchers & Specials: Achieve a kill with a launcher or special weapon, or destroy Guild Equipment or VTOLs 50 times.
    • Melee: Achieve a kill with a melee weapon shortly after sliding, diving, or wall jumping 50 times.

    Multiplayer

The basic camo reward, Decay Heat, features a mysterious and dazzling red glow pattern, while the ultimate Radioactive displays a fresher and brighter green.

    • Assault Rifles: Achieve 150 kills with an assault rifle while Aiming Down Sights.
    • SMGs: Achieve at least 20 Double Kill Medals with a submachine gun.
    • Shotguns: Achieve 25 close-range kills with a shotgun.
    • LMGs: Achieve 3 kills with a light machine gun without reloading 10 times.
    • Marksman Rifles: Achieve 50 kills with a Marksman Rifles equipped with a 4.0x or higher magnification scope.
    • Sniper Rifles: Achieve 25 one-shot kills with a sniper rifle.
    • Pistols: Achieve 25 eliminations with a pistol.
    • Launchers & Specials: Achieve 25 kills or Scorestreak Destructions with launchers or special weapons.
    • Melee: Achieve 25 kills with a melee weapon.

    Zombies

If you like large, fluorescent patterns, then the basic Prismatic camo offered by Zombies mode is a must-have! The ultimate reward, Rive, looks darker and is better suited for stealth.

    • Assault Rifles: Achieve 10 rapid kills with an assault rifle to earn 25 Massacre Medals.
    • SMGs: Achieve 1000 kills with a submachine gun or a rarer weapon.
    • Shotguns: Take down enemies 500 times while they are in a Pack-a-Punched state with a shotgun.
    • LMGs: Achieve 150 kills with a light machine gun after activating Insta-Kill power-up.
    • Marksman Rifles: Achieve 100 kills with a Marksman Rifle during T.E.D.D Trials.
    • Sniper Rifles: Achieve 300 critical kills with a sniper rifle.
    • Pistols: Achieve 10 consecutive kills with a pistol without taking damage.
    • LMGs: Eliminate 100 armored zombies using launchers or special weapons.
    • Melee: Achieve 300 kills with a melee weapon while wearing level 2 or higher armor.

    Warzone

The basic camo, Phased, has a strong purple psychedelic style. The ultimate reward, Ionize, is similar in style to Phased, but slightly more serious due to its more monochromatic color scheme.

    • Assault Rifles: Achieve 30 eliminations while equipped with an assault rifle.
    • SMGs: Achieve 10 kills with a submachine gun while moving.
    • Shotguns: Aim at enemies and get 5 kills with a shotgun.
    • LMGs: Get 2 kills with a light machine gun within 3 shots in a single match.
    • Marksman Rifles: Get 3 kills with a Marksman Rifles without respawning.
    • Sniper Rifles: Get 5 long shot kills with a sniper rifle.
    • Pistols: Get 3 eliminations with a pistol.
    • Launchers & Specials: Get 3 kills with launchers or special weapons, or destroy 3 vehicles.
    • Melee: Get 3 kills with a melee weapon.

IGGM CoD BO7 Season 2 Cheap Bot Lobbies for Sale Help You Complete Escalation Directive Challenges Faster

    Optimal reward farming strategy

Since each challenge requires different weapons, it's difficult to complete all challenges in one mode at once. Therefore, the key is to clearly define your goals: acquire all camos, all basic camos, or selectively acquire individual camos you prefer.

Once you've determined your goals, you can create a simple reward earning plan and complete the tasks one by one until you obtain all the desired rewards.

Unlike weapons, there's no clear-cut superiority or inferiority of camos; it all comes down to your personal aesthetic. So don't put too much pressure on yourself, just enjoy the game for the next two weeks!

CoD Black Ops 7 Season 2 Placement Ranks Explained | Why Winning Matches Matters Less Than Your K/D?

    Posted: Feb 05, 2026Views: 5015

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Season 2 has begun. Ranked Play and Placement Matches have also launched with the season. Many players may encounter a confusing situation: even if they play the exact same matches with their teammates, their starting rank may differ.

This is because your rank isn't solely determined by match wins and losses. Understanding the hidden mechanics behind placement matches and tailoring your strategy accordingly can help you achieve the highest possible starting rank after completing your placement matches.

CoD Black Ops 7 Season 2 Placement Ranks Explained | Why Winning Matches Matters Less Than Your K/D?

    Placement Match Basic Rules

The basic operation of CoD Black Ops 7 placement matches differs from previous years. All players start in Unranked, rather than from fixed ranks like Bronze or Gold as in previous years.

You need to accumulate 3 wins to complete your placement and obtain your starting rank. Note that these three wins do not need to be consecutive, and it's the total number of wins.

Each time you win a match, the system updates your predicted minimum starting rank based on your performance in your placement matches. This means you can track your progress in real time.

Theoretically, if you keep losing, it might take many matches to accumulate 3 wins. However, the system adjusts matchmaking based on your performance, attempting to quickly lock in your skill level, so usually you don't need to play too many matches.

    Skill Rating System

To understand placement matches, you must first understand its rating system, Skill Rating (SR).

According to the official description, SR system in Black Ops 7 is essentially the same as in Black Ops 6. The amount of SR you gain after each ranked match victory is directly related to your performance relative to other players in the match, as well as your team's winning advantage.

If you gain a large amount of SR after a win, it usually indicates that the system believes your current rank is below your expected level. Consecutive wins will increase your SR, helping you advance to higher ranks. Losses will also deduct SR, the amount of which is also determined by your performance and other match factors.

Behind the system is also a hidden matchmaking rating (MMR). The amount of SR you gain depends on the gap between your current SR and this hidden MMR. The closer you are to the system's predicted hidden MMR target, the less SR you will gain. This hidden MMR is calculated based on your recent performance.

During placement matches, the system uses your match data to evaluate and build this hidden MMR, which is why it can provide a predicted rank after each win.

    Factors Influencing Hidden MMR

Several decisive factors in CoD BO6 affect hidden MMR and consequently, placement match results. These factors are likely to apply in CoD BO7 as well.

    Winning Matches

Of all matches that result in a hidden MMR increase, winning matches account for 58%. This means that nearly half of MMR increases come from losing matches, while the win rate is as low as 27% of all matches that result in a hidden MMR decrease.

    KD Ratio And E/D Ratio

In 97% of matches that result in a hidden MMR increase, the player maintains a positive KD ratio. Furthermore, in matches with a positive KD ratio, even with a win rate of only 64%, the probability of a hidden MMR increase is as high as 80%. In matches with a negative K/D ratio, the win rate is only 22%, while the probability of a decrease in hidden MMR is as high as 97%.

In matches where hidden MMR decreases, only 22% of the matches have a positive K/D ratio. In matches where hidden MMR increases 100%, the player maintains a positive E/D ratio. In matches with a negative E/D ratio, the win rate is as low as 15%, and hidden MMR decreases in all matches. Therefore, even if you win the match, if your personal E/D ratio is negative, your hidden MMR will definitely decrease.

Buy Cheap CoD BO7 Season 2 Bot Lobbies at IGGM to train your skills

    Placement Match Strategy

Placement matches prioritize your skill level and, more specifically, your individual player statistics. You need to win every gunfight while protecting your statistics.

A match with poor statistics has a far greater negative impact on your hidden MMR than a match with excellent statistics. Therefore, you need to avoid one-sided matches as much as possible.

Never intentionally die to feed your opponent kills for a tiny chance of a comeback. This will severely damage your hidden rating. The system prioritizes winning gunfights as the primary indicator of skill level. If you win more firefights than you lose, the system will assess your skill level as exceeding your current rank, thus boosting your rating.

This strategy can only help you reach your expected rank quickly, but to truly improve your rank, you must enhance your fundamental game skills and consistently win more one-on-one engagements.

In summary, in Black Ops 7 placement matches, winning gunfights is more important than winning the match itself. To achieve a higher starting rank, focus on protecting your K/D ratio and E/D ratio, and this requires focus and caution in ranked matches.

CoD Black Ops 7 Season 2 Weapon Lineup and Unlock Paths Explained | One Attachment Changes Everything

    Posted: Jan 31, 2026Views: 2586

CoD Black Ops 7 Season 2 will officially launch next Thursday (February 5th), bringing new maps and modes, along with many weapons and attachments.

Some new items will be available immediately on February 5th, and Some are in Season 2 Battle Pass, some are event weapons, and others will be available after Season 2 Reloaded.

CoD Black Ops 7 Season 2 Weapon Lineup and Unlock Paths Explained | One Attachment Changes Everything

    Armory Update

Before delving into the new weapons, Armory update is worth noting. All attachments unlocked through weekly challenges in Season 1, as well as usable weapons (Range Weapons) obtained through Battle Pass or various challenge events, will be added to Armory at the start of Season 2. Players can unlock them by completing corresponding XP challenges. However, camouflage, blueprints, and cosmetic items will not be added to Armory.

    Battle Pass Weapons

    REV-46

    REV-46

    • Location: Battle Pass Page 6 (Blueprint on Page 11)
    • Prestige Attachment: MFS Reforge Flip Stock

While not officially confirmed, this weapon's appearance is highly similar to Skorpion EVO. It can switch between folded and unfolded stock configurations, altering handling and recoil characteristics. The folded stock configuration makes it highly versatile.

Its damage output is lower, but it boasts excellent recoil control, supporting highly accurate hip-fire and aimed shooting. MFS Reforge Flip Stock significantly increases movement speed but affects sprint-to-fire time and recoil, and no longer reduces aiming speed or mobility.

    EGRT-17 Assault Rifle

    EGRT-17 Assault Rifle

    • Location: Battle Pass Page 6 (Blueprint on Page 14)
    • Prestige Attachment: MFS Heated Echo Rounds

This is a fully automatic assault rifle that fires overheated bullets that ricochet off solid surfaces. Its rate of fire is second only to Peacekeeper, and the bullets inflict considerable damage to the body and head. The ricocheting characteristic can be used to attack enemies behind cover.

MFS Heated Echo Rounds mod makes the ricocheting even more effective, and its most effective use is firing at the ground in front of the enemy.

    H311-SAW (Melee Weapon)

    H311-SAW (Melee Weapon)

    • Location: Battle Pass, Page 10 (No Blueprint)

H311-SAW has high damage and a mid-range attack, but its attack speed is moderately slow. Its damage pattern is similar to the knife and Flatline MK. II, but it has a longer attack range, a slightly slower attack speed, and a more gruesome execution effect.

Weapons Unlocked Through Weekly Challenges and Events

    GDL Havoc Launcher

    GDL Havoc Launcher

    • Acquisition Method: Weekly challenge reward in the first week of Season 2.
    • Prestige Attachment: MFS Airstrike Magazine

This is a pump-action grenade launcher. Its grenades adhere to solid surfaces and can be remotely detonated. This weapon cannot be aimed with iron sights (ADS). You can fire the sticky grenades at enemies or place them as traps on the ground or walls of strongholds, bomb targets, and detonate them manually at any time.

MFS Airstrike Magazine improves the projectile's flight speed, allowing it to bounce off surfaces and detonate earlier. The increased internal damage radius increases the chance of dealing full damage to nearby targets.

    SG-12 Shotgun

    SG-12 Shotgun

    • Acquisition Method: Ultimate reward of Season 2 challenge event, Escalation Directive.
    • Prestige Attachment: MFS Pulse Fire Taclight

This gun originates from Black Ops 4, and its return may be related to Blackout mode to be added in the mid-season in March.

This is a well-balanced semi-automatic shotgun designed for mid-range engagements. Compared to other semi-automatic shotguns currently in the game, it boasts a higher rate of fire and the longest effective damage range.

MFS Pulse Fire Taclight is expected to function similarly to Strobe Light (operator mod) in Black Ops 4. It's a dedicated tactical light that enhances firepower by adding a binary trigger and tack stance, but at the cost of damage range, and the effect is only visible while aiming.

    Mid-Season Update Weapons

    Voyak KT-3 Assault Rifle

    Voyak KT-3 Assault Rifle

    • Prestige Attachment: MFS Anti-Dispersion Module

This gun offers high damage and excellent handling, but a slower rate of fire and medium-high recoil. Its characteristics are similar to AK-27, but with a slower rate of fire and shorter range. In terms of quick handling and mobility, it's comparable to Peacekeeper from Black Ops 2.

    Swordfish A1 Marksman Rifle

    Swordfish A1 Marksman Rifle

    • Acquisition Method: Possibly obtained through a Blackout-themed challenge event.
    • Prestige Attachment: MFS Penta Burst Mod

This is a four-round burst assault rifle (Marksman Rifle) with a fast rate of fire and extremely low recoil, but poor mobility and handling. Its overall damage output is superior to the comparable MA1, but at the cost of a longer burst interval and slower movement speed.

    Weapon Attachments

IGGM CoD BO7 Season 2 Cheap Bot Lobbies for sale

All Weapon Attachments in Season 2 will be released as weekly challenge rewards and will not be obtained through events or Battle Pass. The following are the announced Weapon Attachments:

    • XM325 Titan Wield: For XM325 LMG, allowing dual-wielding of this weapon.
    • FANG HoverPoint ELO: A sight usable on all weapons, sacrificing some handling.
    • A.R.C. M1 Assault Frame: For A.R.C. M1 launcher, reducing charge and cooldown times, increasing blast radius, and improving mobility and handling.
    • Razor 9mm Wildfire Conversion: For Razor 9mm submachine gun. Expected to be an attachment that maximizes rate of fire.
    • Echo 12 Backlash Launcher Kit: Transforms Echo 12 shotgun into a grenade launcher, firing fast-moving explosive projectiles that ricochet off surfaces.
    • MXR-17 ANVL Conversion: A barrel modification for MXR-17 assault rifle, turning it into a weapon with higher damage and a larger magazine capacity. Recoil and rate of fire decrease over time during continuous fire.

These are all the weapons and attachments currently revealed for Black Ops 7 Season 2. Details on some weapons and attachments will be revealed before Season 2 Reloaded (around March).

CoD Black Ops 7 Season 2 Roadmap Preview | The Most Ambitious Update So Far

    Posted: Jan 30, 2026Views: 1276

CoD Black Ops 7 Season 2 will launch on February 5th, and the official roadmap for Season 2 has been released a week in advance.

Season 2 update is massive, covering everything from multiplayer and Zombies mode to Warzone. This may be the largest update in CoD Black Ops 7 history, and in Season 3 or Season 4, the development team may shift their focus to Modern Warfare 4. So let's take a look at the specific update content.

CoD Black Ops 7 Season 2 Roadmap Preview | The Most Ambitious Update So Far

    Endgame

    New Game Mechanics

Guild Strikes and Nightmare Zones (Launch)

This is a dynamic event triggered by Alden Dorne, turning a specific area into Nightmare Zones. Enemies in these zones are significantly more difficult than in Tier IV areas, requiring players to defeat Strike Bosses for substantial rewards.

    Power Nodes (Launch)

Special cube devices hidden throughout the map, and picking them up will improve the operator's combat rating progress.

    Glitches

This mechanic will be available mid-season and has a chance to trigger after defeating Strike Boss. The entire squad will be teleported to the corrupted C-Link data area. If you survive multiple waves of enemies and defeat Glitch Boss, you'll acquire powerful Nightmare Skills (new and powerful abilities in addition to Exotic Skills).

    New Skills

Eagle Eye Skill Track: A new skill branch focused on precision kills.

Sentinel Protocol (Major Ability): Hacks the modified guild robot to fight for your team. It can revive players and provide ranged and melee support.

Blood Burner (Minor Ability): Now used as an ability, it summons an armored motorcycle for fast movement, traversing water, and unleashing energy pulses in combat.

    Multiplayer Updates

    New Maps

Season 2 will add several maps. You can familiarize yourself with these maps using CoD Black Ops 7 Bot Lobbies.

    • Solo Hearts Moshpit (Limited Time Mode): A Valentine's Day limited-time mode, for solo players only.
    • Luck Confirmed (Limited Time Mode): A new mode where you collect dropped Lucky Pouches to earn points for your team.

    Mid-Season

    • Infected: The classic mode returns with new content such as Mutant Injection. Either defeat the infected or become one of them.
    • Gauntlet: Two teams of six compete in five different game modes consecutively.

    New Killstreak Reward: Lockshot

A pistol unlockable with just 450 points, it has three rounds and can lock onto multiple targets. It can also be upgraded with Overclocks to increase ammo or reduce lock-on time. It will be unlocked in Mid-Season.

    Ranked Play

Ranked play will begin upon Season 2 login. You only need to win three placement matches to earn an initial ranking, a faster process than in Black Ops 6. High-ranking matches will only allow solo or duo play.

The points required for ranking are as follows:

    Bronze

    • Bronze I: 0 SR | Bronze II: 300 SR | Bronze III: 600 SR

    • Paradox Junction: A major new area introduced mid-season, serving as the culmination of Astra Malorum main questline.

    New Items

    • Gobblegum Turncoat: A rare instant-type chewing gum that charms nearby enemies, and performing well in the mid-to-high range this season.
    • Lockshot Killstreak Bonus: Also added to Zombies mode.

    Warzone

    Rebirth Island Winter Refresh (Launch)

Rebirth Island is covered in snow, bringing new changes.

    • Turbines are now new points of interest, with new cover added.
    • New unmarked Outpost locations added.
    • Snow footprints can be used to track enemies and make them easier to spot in the snow layer.
    • Approximately five familiar points of interest have been brightened and modernized by Guild, with adjusted lighting.
    • Water towers, prison roofs, or lighthouses may collapse at the start of the match, and new gas explosions may occur on the map.
    • Weapon blueprints from Modern Warfare 2, Modern Warfare 3, and Black Ops 6 (not Black Ops 7) can be found on the map, but are only usable in this match.

    New Modes

    • Battle Royale: A 25-minute, 150-player battle royale mode on Verdansk map.
    • Resurgence: In Haven's Hollow and Rebirth Island Map.
    • Casual mode: A casual battle royale mode on the Verdansk and Haven's Hollow and Rebirth Island Maps.

    Blackout

The highly anticipated Blackout mode is confirmed to return mid-season (March). The official statement indicates that the mode was built from scratch, inspired by the original Blackout mode in Black Ops 4.

Black Ops 7 Season is a massive update with a huge amount of content in almost every mode. As for the easter eggs, you'll have to explore and discover them yourself.

CoD Black Ops 7 Season 2 Zombies Direction Clarified by Developers | What The Team Is Actually Prioritizing?

    Posted: Jan 21, 2026Views: 1096

CoD Black Ops 7 Season 1 Reloaded has been out for almost two weeks. While it's packed with content, players are likely more focused on Season 2, which will be released on February 5th.

This discussion won't cover the specific updates for Season 2, but rather Zombies mode update plans. In a recent interview, Call of Duty developers discussed the upcoming second season of Zombies mode and several future updates and adjustments.

CoD Black Ops 7 Season 2 Zombies Direction Clarified by Developers | What The Team Is Actually Prioritizing?

    Community Communication

The official team typically releases information about Season 2 Zombies at 115 Day. You can find plenty of engaging content from the community on their official blog, as well as previews of Season 2 and Season 2 Reloaded content.

However, the development team remains tight-lipped about details of the upcoming new Zombies map. More information will be released closer to the new season through roadmaps and the blog.

Developer Kevin Drew stated that the development team is very willing to communicate with the player community and is carefully listening to all player feedback, which will be used to evaluate and adjust the game. He encouraged players to continue actively providing feedback, as the development team is likely paying attention to community discussions.

    Game Fix Priorities

Regarding players' concerns about the speed of game fixes, Kevin explained in detail the team's prioritization logic.

Because the difficulty and time required to fix different issues vary greatly, some issues require modifications to the game's executable file, which is a lengthy process, while others can be quickly fixed through online updates.

The development team will evaluate each issue on a case-by-case basis. Bugs that significantly disrupt the game experience and challenge, such as using automated scripts to easily reach high round counts in Zombie Mode, will be given the highest priority for fixing.

The team has noticed 999-round matches and players farming rounds to obtain Calling cards. They believe this behavior undermines the core challenge of the game and is a key focus for the team, which expects to fix it soon.

The development team doesn't want any changes to CoD BO7 to diminish its fun, unless it's a serious bug that severely impacts game balance and the experience of other players. If a change receives feedback from players that it reduces fun, the development team may decide to roll it back to its original state.

    Cursed Survival Mode

Now let's look at the content actually related to Season 2. Currently, it's officially confirmed that Cursed Survival mode will officially launch in Season 2.

In this mode, players can use all unlocked Relics on all survival maps. To ensure proper gameplay and provide sufficient incentives, the development team has set up exclusive rewards for completing different levels of challenges on different survival maps, including generous experience bonuses, GobbleGums items, and unique weapon charms designed based on Relics themselves.

This mode will only support private matchmaking. The reason is that activating multiple Relic combinations can create extremely difficult game matches, and the development team doesn't want players to accidentally enter such matches in public matchmaking. Kevin acknowledged that open matchmaking might lead to issues like hosts abusing Relic privileges.

    Relic System

Relic system is central to the development team, and they plan to continuously release new Relics throughout the entire lifecycle of Black Ops 7.

The development team's ideas are not endless, and they hope to build this system collaboratively with the player community. They hope to listen to community feedback while combining team ideas to conceive new Relics that could change gameplay or explore their combined effects.

Kevin hinted that future Relics, like Samantha's Drawing, could completely transform the game experience. He also encouraged players to suggest classic items they would like to see from Call of Duty's zombie history, such as Focusing Stone, Summoning Key, and Elemental Shard.

Buy IGGM Cheap COD BO7 Bot Lobbies

    Balance Adjustments

    Little Green Menace-1

Kevin confirmed that they are evaluating enhancements to Wonder Weapon Little Green Menace-1. Given its unique feature of unlimited ammo, this adjustment will be very cautious. The team has heard player feedback regarding its insufficient damage in later rounds, so it's highly likely to receive a buff in Season 2. The weapon is also confirmed to be added to the new survival map, Mars, in Season 2.

    O.S.C.A.R.

The development team believes O.S.C.A.R. is currently well-positioned as a tank-like elite enemy. It has high health and damage, but it's not always necessary to kill it.

Currently, complaints from the player community are that the rewards for killing O.S.C.A.R. are too meager relative to its difficulty. Players want it to at least drop tangible rewards such as random Perk-A-Cola, gear points, or Pack-a-Punch Crystals.

Kevin understands this, but they haven't guaranteed any adjustments in Season 2, only stating that they are still considering it.

    Undiscovered Relics

Regarding the artifacts yet to be found on Astra Malorum map, the development team has explicitly stated that they exist but have simply not yet been discovered by players. The team will not provide further hints at this time, encouraging players to continue exploring. However, if no players find it before the new map is released, the development team may provide clues in the future.

While the development team shared some update plans for Season 2, they have been very cautious in revealing any information that would truly excite players. We will still have to wait for the official Season 2 roadmap for specific details.

CoD BO7 Season 1 Reload Top 5 Weapons | Are You Using The Best Gear Yet?

    Posted: Jan 13, 2026Views: 1610

COD BO7 Season 1 Reload has been out for a while, adding new weapons and attachments to the game, and the meta weapons have also changed due to adjustments.

Let's take a look at the top 5 weapons and their configurations after the update, considering overall damage, attack power, and accuracy.

COD BO7 Season 1 Reload Top 5 Weapons | Are You Using the Best Gear Yet?

    Sturmwolf 45

Sturmwolf 45 is an excellent submachine gun with low recoil, high accuracy, and decent headshot damage, making it well-suited for mid-range combat. If you don't like its iron sights, you can freely install Lethal Tools ELO sight for a clear and concise aiming view.

Equipping weapon attachments can improve weapon performance, granting increased power or a larger magazine capacity. Below are recommended attachment setups; you can adjust them according to your preferences.

If you have Gunfighter peek, you can equip more attachments; otherwise, you cannot equip more than 5. You can use CoD Black Ops 7 Bot Lobbies to test the differences between different attachment setups.

    Multiple Attachment Options:

    • Optical Sights: Lethal Tools ELO
    • Muzzle: Bowen .45 Suppressor
    • Barrel: 14.8" Perigee Barrel
    • Underbarrel: Zero Shift Handstop
    • Magazine: Locus Extended Mag
    • Rear Grip: Selene Rover Grip
    • Stock: LT1 Pride Stock
    • Fire Module: Recoil Spring Assembly

This configuration gives Sturmwolf 45 extremely fast firing response, excellent mobility, and easily controllable bullet trajectory, allowing you to win at greater distances.

If you want to use all five attachments, you can remove the optic, stock, and fire control module, and replace Locus Extended Mag with MFS Tigris .40 Cal Mag. This is an attachment that requires certain conditions to unlock, but it provides a faster reload speed, higher headshot damage multiplier, greater damage and range, and faster aiming and running-firing speed.

If you find the recoil difficult to control, you can replace the muzzle with Hawker Series. 45 points improves vertical recoil control, but be aware that this will expose you to radar.

    MXR-17 Assault Rifle

MXR17 is one of the highest-damage assault rifles in the game, performing exceptionally well at medium to long ranges. However, its rate of fire is relatively slow, making it difficult to quickly eliminate opponents in 1v1 unless aiming for the head.

    Multiple Attachment Options:

    • Optical Sights: Iron sights may be more advantageous for long-range aiming on this gun. If you don't like iron sights, you can replace them with ELO.
    • Muzzle: Redwell-90 Compensator
    • Barrel: 115" Wraith Barrel
    • Underbarrel: Sentry Pro Handstop
    • Magazine: Rhodes Drum Mag
    • Stock: VAS TH-09 Stock
    • Rear Grip: Aria Assail Comb
    • Fire Mod: Recoil Sync Unit

This configuration gives the gun a fast response time, controllable recoil, and high damage output, which compensates for its shortcomings in close-quarters combat to some extent, making it very reliable at any range.

If you don't want to use this configuration, you can also use a stock, optical sight, and fire control module. Then replace Aria Assail Comb with Aria Assail Grip, as they have similar functions.

    Dravic 45. Full-Auto Submachine Gun

Dravec 45 is an incredible submachine gun. It is very stable and performs well at close to medium range. Unlike many traditional short-range SMGs, it is better suited for maintaining firepower in medium-range engagements, while also performing well in close combat. Many players consider it the best SMG available.

    Multiple Attachment Options:

    • Optical Sight: Lethal Tools ELO
    • Muzzle: Bowen .45 Suppressor
    • Barrel: 19" EAM Horizon Barrel
    • Magazine: Gator Extended Mag
    • Rear Grip: Herald-Z1 Grip
    • Stock: Serval Q-Step Stock
    • Laser Designator: LTI Swift Point Laser
    • Fire Module: Accelerated Recoil System

This configuration further enhances its excellent handling and relatively low recoil, making it one of the easiest weapons to use in the game overall.

You can remove the optical sight, laser designator, and extended magazine to retain the core handling and recoil control attachments. Its iron sights are excellent, allowing for easy engagements at long range.

    Peacekeeper MK1 Assault Rifle

Peacekeeper MK1 is a weapon that performs well in Black Ops 7. A submachine gun positioned between a submachine gun and a traditional assault rifle, this assault rifle boasts a very high rate of fire, excellent mobility, and rapid aiming, giving it a significant advantage at close to medium ranges.

Its high rate of fire and short kill time are noteworthy, but its base recoil is relatively high, and its damage radius reaches its lower limit early, especially beyond 15 meters where its performance drops significantly. Additionally, its iron sights are inadequate; it is recommended to install a sight.

    Multiple Attachment Options:

    • Optical Sights: Lethal Tools ELO
    • Muzzle: K&S Stalker 57-X
    • Barrel: 23.5" Longbow Barrel
    • Underbarrel: Sentry Pro Handstop
    • Magazine: Vulcan Reach Extension
    • Rear Grip: DiveEdge-7 Grip
    • Stock: EAM Blitzfire Stock
    • Fire Module: Buffer Spring

This configuration allows Peacekeeper MK1 to achieve a high rate of fire, excellent mobility, and controllable recoil, giving you dominance at close to medium ranges.

To maintain power, you can remove the fire control module, stock, and extended magazine. However, this setup will result in greater recoil and require more precise control. Therefore, the eight-attachment setup is recommended to unleash the gun's full potential.

    MPC-25 Submachine Gun

It can be seen as a modern remake of MSMC, offering high damage and agility at close range, but with significant recoil. Its iron sights are decent, and you can use attachment slots for other upgrades.

    Multiple Attachment Options:

    • Muzzle: K&S Compensator
    • Barrel: 14.5" VAS Ashe Barrel
    • Underbarrel: VAS Drift Lock Foregrip
    • Magazine: Sustainable-25 Extended Mag
    • Rear Grip: Vassal Stability Grip. A magnetic grip is also an excellent alternative.
    • Stock: Medusa Stock
    • Laser Designator: LTI SwiftPoint Laser or EMT3 Agile Laser. The former improves mobility, while the latter improves damage, range, and stability.
    • Fire Module: Recoil Sync Unit

This configuration improves weapon handling, making it more effective at close range. For medium range, you can try single shots. You can remove the laser designator, extended magazine, and barrel, keeping all core recoil control attachments to ensure accuracy at medium to long range.

These are the top five loadout options in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Season 1 Reloaded. Choose your favorite configuration and defeat your opponents in matches!

CoD BO7 Season 1 Reload Fallout Zombies Mode Guide | How To Summon Irradiated Deathclaw?

    Posted: Jan 09, 2026Views: 3127

CoD BO7 Season 1 Reload is now live, and the highlight is undoubtedly its collaboration with Fallout. Its setting is perfectly suited to Zombies mode, and inspired by it, the new limited-time Zombies mode is exceptionally fun. Let's take a look at the details of this Zombies mode update.

CoD BO7 Season 1 Reload Fallout Zombies Mode Guide | How To Summon Irradiated Deathclaw?

    New Content

Call of Duty BO7 Season 1 Reload Zombies mode update focuses on three areas:

    • Astra Malorum Directed Mode
    • Survival Map: Zarya Cosmodrome
    • New Fallout LTM

Astra Malorum's Directed Mode is now officially live. For players who have been waiting to try the easter egg quest, now is the time. Completing the guided mode will also reward you with new rewards, including Cosmic Repair operator skin for Grey and 5000 XP.

In addition to Exit 115, which was released a few weeks ago, Zarya Cosmodrome has also been added to the game in this update. This is a very cool game space, designed to be narrow, compact, and somewhat claustrophobic.

Players who survive to rounds 10, 25, and 50 will receive rewards, including a free Wonder Weapon, a Charm, a Symbolic Animated Emblem, a symbolic animated emblem, and 1000 XP.

As for the new Fallout LTM, it's the most interesting part of this update, and its gameplay and Easter eggs will be introduced separately below.

    Fallout LTM

    Limited Time Mode: Ghoul Infection

This mode is similar to Infected, with 24 players competing against Glowing Ghouls. Defeating enemies grants level-ups. Unfortunate Vault Dwellers who are eliminated transform into Feral Ghouls and fight against other players.

    Limited Time Mode: Project RADS

This mode takes place in Ashes of the Damned and Astra Malorum, replacing the usual zombies with Feral Ghouls, and featuring the classic Fallout monster, Deathclaw, as a mini-boss.

The core change in this mode revolves around a brand-new Radiation levels system. Players have a continuously accumulating Radiation meter. The higher the meter, the more ferocious Growling Ghouls' attacks become.

    Radiation Levels

When Radiation levels reach their maximum, the character enters a near-death state. Your health continuously decreases, movement speed slows, damage is reduced, and your Perk-a-Colas become unstable or even malfunction.

There are six Radiation levels. As the level increases, the operator will suffer severe negative effects:

    • Level 1: No obvious negative effects.
    • Level 2: Reduced movement speed.
    • Level 3 Reduced weapon damage.
    • Level 4 Exposure: Field Upgrade charges are frozen, making it unusable.
    • Level 5 Exposure: Health slowly and continuously decreases.
    • Extreme Exposure: Triggered upon picking up a Nuke, this will remove all your perks. Avoid this at all costs.

    Items

Automatic health regeneration in normal zombie mode is completely disabled. Players can only restore health by picking up and consuming food dropped on the map. Radiation levels can also be reduced by using items.

    • Food Items: Restore health, but are irdiated. Consuming them increases health but also raises your radiation level.
    • Bottle Caps: Replace Essence as the universal currency in this mode. Obtained by killing zombies.
    • Radiation-X: A small vial that reduces your current radiation level. A crucial item for survival.
    • Radiation Away: A limited-time powerful power-up that immediately removes all radiation from all players in the game upon pickup.

    Game Changes

Upon entering the game, players will immediately experience a dramatic change in the environment. Most zombie models have been replaced with fast-moving Feral Ghouls; attacking or being hit by them will increase your radiation level.

The biggest challenge in the early game is resource scarcity. Due to slow score gain, unlocking map areas and purchasing starting weapons becomes extremely difficult. Given the mode's high penalties, it's recommended to prioritize survival when choosing equipment and Augments.

In the early to mid-game rounds, try to avoid picking up food. While it restores health, the risk of increasing your radiation level is much higher; prioritize using stim shots and healing skills to maintain your Augments.

As you progress to higher rounds, the pressure of combat increases dramatically, and Deathclaws appear more frequently. Although they have high health, weapons upgraded with Pack-a-Punch can deal with them relatively effectively.

It's worth noting that Nukes become deadly traps in this mode, and you should absolutely avoid picking them up.

    Irradiated Deathclaw

On both maps, there's a hidden mini-mission that summons a special elite, high-value target: Irradiated Deathclaw. Defeating it rewards a large amount of XP, exclusive calling cards, and a huge loot pool.

You need to collect 10 Fallout Boy trophies on the map in a single game. Once you've collected them all, Irradiated Deathclaw will automatically spawn. You can familiarize yourself with their locations beforehand using CoD Black Ops 7 Bot Lobbies.

    Ashes of the Damned Locations:

    • Top of the vending machine in Janus Towers, the spawn point.
    • Basement in the farm area, on the ground next to the execution chair.
    • Inside the farmhouse, under the main table.
    • On the small boat opposite the armor trading post in Blackwater Lake area.
    • On the kitchen shelf of Blackwater Lake cabin.
    • Inside Klaus's cell in Ashwood area.
    • Near the Ashwood zipline, on the road from GobbleGum Machine to Juggernog Machine.
    • Inside the auto repair shop on the road leading to Cosmodrome.
    • In front of Exit 115, within the circle illuminated by truck headlights.
    • On the platform below Cosmodrome rocket.

    Astra Malorum Locations:

    • On the pillar to the left of Quick Revive coda fountain in the spawn area.
    • On top of the bookshelf within Juggernog coda fountain area.
    • On the shelf in Speed Cola area.
    • Below the edge of Saturn View.
    • In Pack-a-Punch room, on a crate in the back left corner.
    • In the window on the door of Stamina area.
    • In the library, under the table next to Stamina coda fountain.
    • Near Mars Portal, on a small table behind the scaffolding.
    • (Mars) On the altar in the center of the arena.
    • (Mars) On the toilet in the area piled with humanoid objects in the left corner behind the arena.

The above are the key points of CoD BO7 Season 1 Reload Zombies mode update. The Irradiated Deathclaw deals relatively high damage, and if you want to challenge it, you'd better stay at Exposure level 1.

CoD BO7 (2026 Roadmap Explained) | New Season Updates, Warzone Changes & MW4 Teasers

    Posted: Jan 06, 2026Views: 14166

The new year has arrived. Although Black Ops 7, released at the end of 2025, had a poor start, failing to surpass Battlefield 6 and ARC Raiders due to its weak campaign content. It still has a year to recover, so 2026 is crucial for it.

This year will see a large number of updates and a brand new title. Let's take a look at all the information about CoD BO7's future updates and its update roadmap for 2026.

CoD BO7 (2026 Roadmap Explained) | New Season Updates, Warzone Changes & MW4 Teasers

    Season 1 Reload

First, let's start with the most recent update, Season 1 Reload, scheduled for January 8th. This is the first major update of 2026, bringing new weapons and modes, as well as a crossover with Fallout series. Note that this crossover is with the currently airing Fallout Season 2, not classic game content.

Following this is 115 Days event, which will take place on January 15th (Thursday). This is a holiday established by the development team to celebrate Call of Duty: Zombies mode. Information regarding the second season of Zombies mode may be announced on this day.

    Season 2

Approximately one month later, on February 5th, CoD Blackout 7 will receive its Season 2 update, expected to be one of the most content-rich updates to date. While Season 1 was touted as the largest update in Call of Duty history, leaks suggest Season 2 may be on par, or even larger.

For players who prefer Warzone, the current game content may be somewhat lackluster. While there have been sporadic weekend game list updates, it hasn't been enough for seasoned players, while Season 2 will bring a significant change to Warzone.

First, Rebirth Island map will be completely revamped. The development team intends to retain its classic identity while providing players with a nearly entirely new map experience.

Furthermore, Blackout mode will return to CoD Warzone, and the development team will add exclusive new content for it. Avalon map from Endgame mode will also be added to Warzone mode.

Ranked Play has been officially confirmed to return for its second season. Many players eagerly anticipate the return of this competitive mode each year, hoping to hone their skills. The premature introduction of an unrefined ranked mode in Black Ops 6 was a major mistake, leading to rampant cheating and inaccurate rankings.

In CoD Black Ops 7 Season 2, the development team aims to release a more polished, refined version free of cheating issues. This mode will be available to both Multiplayer and Warzone modes.

Considering this may be the last Black Ops title for the next few years, the development team will likely go all out on rewards, such as Operator skin sets, Calling Cards, badges, and weapon blueprints or camo earned by completing specific challenges, all commensurate with rankings.

    Remaining Seasons

As Black Ops 7 continues to progress, players will experience Seasons 3 and 4. While the specific update plans for these seasons are currently unknown, it's almost certain that each season will feature numerous IP collaborations.

With a plethora of major releases in both the gaming and film industries in 2026, Call of Duty possesses immense potential for cross-industry collaborations. Potential partners include John Wick Chapter 5, expected to release in 2026, and the planned Halo Evolved campaign remaster.

Similar to the recent in-game collaborations resulting from the popularity of Fallout series, players may see multiple such collaborations during CoD BO7 in 2026.

    Modern Warfare 4

Around the fourth season, work on the next Call of Duty title will begin. According to leakers, Black Ops 7 will offer more content in its season updates than Modern Warfare 3.

The current plan is to provide a large amount of content in the first four seasons, gradually reducing it thereafter, allowing the developers to focus their efforts on marketing CoD Modern Warfare 4.

This means players may see Modern Warfare 4 marketing campaigns very early, perhaps even starting with Easter eggs at the end of Season 3 or the beginning of Season 4 of CoD BO7.

The last early marketing campaign was for Call of Duty BO6, with the official marketing starting in May 2024 using live-action trailers and websites. This time, given Black Ops 7's weaker sales compared to Modern Warfare 3, and facing strong competition from Grand Theft Auto 6, scheduled for a November release, the official marketing investment will undoubtedly be earlier and larger to generate enthusiasm within the player community.

The new game's marketing strategy will likely begin with in-game Easter eggs and events for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, gradually expanding to real-world posters, trailers, and ultimately, gameplay trailers and campaign story trailers.

    The Haunting Event

After Modern Warfare 4 launch promotions, the focus will shift back to the final update for Black Ops 7, typically the highly anticipated The Haunting event of the year.

Rumors circulated during Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 that Resident Evil characters like Leon S. Kennedy and Ada might be added, initially planned for Black Ops 6 but delayed until Black Ops 7. There was also speculation about characters like Pennywise.

The developers have never been stingy with introducing crossover characters for The Haunting event, with characters like Chucky, Jason, and Scream appearing before. Therefore, players are likely to see some even more significant crossover content, which is something to look forward to.

In conclusion, while the update pace for CoD Black Ops 7 is currently somewhat slow, future new content and crossover collaborations are definitely something players can look forward to.
