Stocking ARC Raiders Steel Springs on Expedition 3 and more usages | Why is this Uncommon Material actually important?

    Posted: Mar 20, 2026Views: 1263

Whether you are a casual ARC Raiders player or a dedicated veteran who participates in every expedition, if you have been playing for a while, you will realize that certain basic materials are just as important, if not more so, than high-tier weapons!

This is because ARC Raiders features a robust, tiered crafting system; all advanced gear obtainable via the workshop requires a significant upfront investment of materials, such as Steel Springs.

To help you avoid wasting time on unnecessary pitfalls while farming, we present this detailed guide to Steel Springs.

Stocking ARC Raiders Steel Springs on Expedition 3 and more usages | Why is this Uncommon Material actually important?

    What are Steel Springs?

Every item in the game possesses its own rarity tier. Based on this, ARC Raiders Steel Springs belong to the green Uncommon tier, meaning they drop relatively frequently.

What are Steel Springs' specific uses?

In-game, Steel Springs are required for submitting expedition supplies and for crafting a wide variety of higher-rarity items; therefore, you must ensure you always maintain a sufficient stockpile.

Currently underway is Expedition 3. It consists of six stages, the first of which, Stage 1 Foundation, requires you to collect 15 Steel Springs.

Other items that require Steel Springs to craft, along with the specific quantities needed, are listed below:

    • 1x Advanced Mechanical Component: 2x Steel Springs
    • 1x Extended Light Mag I/II/III: 1/3/5x Steel Springs
    • 1x Extended Medium Mag I/II/III: 1/3/5x Steel Springs
    • 1x Extended Shotgun Mag I/II/III: 1/3/5x Steel Springs
    • 1x Mod Component: 2x Steel Springs
    • 1x Shrapnel Grenade: 2x Steel Springs
    • 1x Torrente I: 6x Steel Springs

Please note: the list above details only Steel Spring requirements for these items; completing the actual crafting process will also require other materials and the corresponding blueprints.

You can also recycle or salvage Steel Springs to obtain Metal Parts, yielding two parts for recycling and one for salvaging. If you choose to sell any surplus Steel Springs later in the game, each unit is worth 300 coins.

Additionally, the currently ongoing Shrouded Sky update introduced Weather Monitor System project upon its release. This project is divided into five stages, and Stage 3 Precipitation requires 3 Steel Springs among other materials.

    How to farm Steel Springs?

There are currently three known methods for farming Steel Springs: scavenging during raids, trading them from the vendor Celeste, and recycling/salvaging other items (excluding the crafting).

    Sold by Celeste

From a narrative standpoint, Celeste serves as the leader of all Raiders; within the trading system, she is the only trader who accepts Assorted Seeds as currency.

In Celeste's shop, each Steel Spring needs 6 seeds, and you can make up to 10 trades per day. As for the sources where seeds can be obtained, they include:

    • Looting various containers
    • Recycling other natural items, such as lemons, mushrooms, etc.
    • Waiting for Scrappy to spawn

    Recycling / salvaging other items

We recommend this method only if you possess duplicate recyclable items and are in urgent need of Steel Springs to craft other gear. The detailed list is provided below:

    • Advanced Mechanical Component (Recycled): 1 Steel Spring
    • Cooling Coil (Recycled / Salvaged): 2 / 2 Steel Springs
    • Extended Light Mag II (Recycled): 1 Steel Spring
    • Extended Light Mag III (Recycled): 2 Steel Springs
    • Extended Medium Mag II (Recycled): 1 Steel Spring
    • Extended Medium Mag III (Recycled): 2 Steel Springs
    • Extended Shotgun Mag II (Recycled): 1 Steel Spring
    • Extended Shotgun Mag III (Recycled): 2 Steel Springs
    • Magnetron (Recycled): 1 Steel Spring
    • Mod Component (Recycled): 1 Steel Spring
    • Ruined Accordion (Recycled): 3 Steel Springs
    • Rusted Tools (Recycled): 1 Steel Spring
    • Spring Cushion (Recycled / Salvaged): 2 / 2 Steel Springs
    • Turbo Pump (Salvaged): 3 Steel Springs

    Looting containers

Whenever you head out on a raid, you will encounter various containers scattered across the current map; however, Steel Springs typically appear only within Metal Crates.

These containers are commonly found in the industrial zones of every map. If you wish to farm them more efficiently and with greater focus, you should prioritize traveling to the following POIs:

    • Dam Battlegrounds: Power Generation Complex and Water Treatment
    • Spaceport: Vehicle Maintenance
    • Blue Gate: Warehouse

Among these locations, Water Treatment area offers the advantage of a compact layout, allowing you to complete your looting quickly and minimize the risk of being spotted and robbed by other players.

Power Generation conversely, is more expansive and may yield a larger quantity of supplies.

In terms of overall value, Dam Battlegrounds stands out as the optimal map for farming Steel Springs, as it features a higher concentration of industrial structures.

If you feel up to the challenge, we highly recommend waiting until events capable of boosting both the quantity and quality of loot, such as an Electromagnetic Storm or Hurricane, appear on the map before you begin farming; this approach is significantly more efficient.

It is also worth noting that IGGM is currently hosting March ARC Raiders blueprints free giveaways. By participating in this activity, you stand a chance to use your accumulated Steel Springs, combined with these new blueprints, to immediately craft brand-new gear!

    Optimal farming strategies

Once you have mastered all the methods outlined above, if you wish to maximize the efficiency of your Steel Springs farming, consider adopting the following strategies:

    • Trade with Celeste 10 times every day.
    • Consult the map event rotation schedule to determine the optimal times to undertake raids.
    • While farming for other items, do not forget to set aside some time to scavenge the industrial zones.

That concludes our guide for today. We hope this information proves helpful as you continue your journey through Speranza!

ARC Raiders Hurricane Map Condition Will Get You Killed If You Ignore This - Full Survival Guide & Loot Breakdown

    Posted: Feb 20, 2026Views: 2006

ARC Raiders can no longer hide their true colors and revealed all the details of the new map condition that will be available in Shrouded Sky update. It is called Hurricane and will have a very strong impact on the weather, wind direction, and visibility throughout Rust Belt.

This map condition will be released with the next major update on February 24th, and will be a permanent map modifier that rotates with Night Raid, Electromagnetic Storm, and Cold Snap in every map. When it appears, your health may be threatened, and your exploration methods will need to be changed accordingly.ARC Raiders Hurricane Map Condition Will Get You Killed If You Ignore This - Full Survival Guide & Loot Breakdown

So how should you deal with it? Don't worry, this guide will provide a detailed overview of everything in ARC Raiders new Hurricane Map Condition, including its mechanics, loot, and exploration strategies, based on existing developer announcements, trailers, and leaked information.

    What Effects Can it Bring?

To safely evacuate from this map, you need to understand how Hurricane will change and affect all aspects of the map's environment, including character movement, health risks, and visibility. Here's a breakdown of how it works.

    About Movement

Because the newly introduced Hurricane is a continuous map-wide condition, it affects you regardless of your location on the map. Your direction of travel is categorized as either tailwind or headwind based on the wind direction displayed on the mini-map; this is typically visible when entering a map and initiating a raid.ARC Raiders Familiar Ducks & BluePrints giveaway at IGGM Discord

Moving with the wind will significantly increase your movement speed, allowing you to travel between various target points on the map; while moving against the wind will drastically reduce your movement speed and accelerate the depletion of your stamina.

In addition to your movement, the trajectory of grenades, smoke grenades, and other throwables is also affected by Hurricane: throwing with the wind increases the throwing distance, while throwing against the wind shortens the distance and changes the trajectory, as well as the smoke will drift with the wind.

Similarly, when jumping, jumping with the wind will make you jump farther, while jumping against the wind will shorten the distance. In short, you can take advantage of a tailwind if you want to loot quickly or easily kill enemies, while you should avoid headwinds as much as possible.

But is that really the case? You're underestimating the damage caused by Hurricane map condition; it's completely different from Cold Snap.

    Harm to Characters

In ARC Raiders, Hurricanes not only bring strong winds but also stir up dust and debris from the ground, which continuously damages your shields, slowly reducing their effectiveness. However, this is not inevitable; any aerial debris that hits your shield will cause it to flicker and malfunction.

It's recommended that you constantly pay attention to the visual effect of your shield flashing and repair it promptly; it's very noticeable and you'll easily spot it. If other players see your shield's damage signal before you do, a fierce battle is inevitable. During this process, you won't gain any advantage, and retreat will become a distant prospect.

Of course, you can also choose not to equip a shield at all. This will prevent it from being damaged by Hurricane and keep you hidden, but it will also make you more vulnerable to environmental and combat damage. It's a risk-reward approach, and you can choose freely according to your playstyle.

    Reduced Visibility

The final effect of ARC Raiders Hurricane map condition is reduced visibility, as dust, debris, and low-hanging storm clouds work together to limit your view across the entire map.ARC Raiders Hurricane

During this process, it is difficult for you to see the enemy's exact location, and similarly, they cannot find you. So, for players who enjoy stealth or ambush tactics on the map, Hurricane can be used as natural cover, allowing them to relocate, loot supplies, and evacuate without being detected.

It is important to remind you again that the flashing signal that appears when the shield is damaged can pass through dust and clouds, allowing enemies to pinpoint your location. As a side note, Hurricanes only appear in night raids, where the significant reduction in visibility at night can make your field of vision narrower than ever before.

    Loot Rewards

While Hurricane in Shrouded Sky update presents numerous challenges, it also offers incredibly generous loot rewards. Among these, First Wave Raider Caches are a unique source of loot specific to this map, containing valuable relics, rare ARC Raiders Items, and collectibles.

It's worth noting that these treasure chests are limited in number on the map, so if you're aiming for this loot, it's advisable to loot every corner, container, and chest as much as possible; also, be aware of obstacles from other players and ARC enemies.

In summary, the newly added Hurricane map condition has a much stronger PvP atmosphere than the previous conditions, which also confirms ARC Raiders' approach of gradually listening to player feedback and increasing the PvP content.

Moreover, the clever combination of map landscape, character movement speed, shield value, and visibility creates a unique balance between concealment and defense, which is exactly what players expect to see. In short, it's definitely worth trying, so please be sure to check it out on February 24th!

Stop Selling Advanced Mechanical Components in ARC Raiders! | Why They Are Actually Most Valuable Loot?

    Posted: Feb 09, 2026Views: 1526

In ARC Raiders, a lower rarity level only indicates that an item is easier to find, not that it's unimportant. In fact, because they are easily obtained, they have a particularly wide range of uses, so much so that you must ensure you always have enough in stock.

Among these items, Advanced Mechanical Components are one of the "rarer" ones, as they are needed for crafting higher-level weapons and upgrading the workshop.

If you're unsure where to use them, or want a more efficient farming strategy, we'll provide you with the most helpful guide!

Stop Selling Advanced Mechanical Components in ARC Raiders! | Why They Are Actually Most Valuable Loot?

    What are Advanced Mechanical Components?

This item has a rarity level of Rare in the game, indicated by the color blue. It is one of the essential materials for crafting popular ARC Raiders weapons such as Osprey and Renegade, making it a popular item on the trading market.

    How to obtain this material?

Given its wide range of uses, ARC Raiders Advanced Mechanical Components can be obtained from a variety of sources, including scavenging, crafting, and recycling other items or weapons.

    Farming in high-value areas

Theoretically, this item can be found in all maps, but the chances are higher in more dangerous, high-value areas. At the same time, you can also find other rare materials, saving you time.

If you want to further increase your chances of finding Advanced Mechanical Components while scavenging, we recommend you travel to Stella Montis and Dam Battlegrounds maps first.

Compared to other maps, Stella Montis has a higher chance of encountering enemies, so it's possible to obtain many Advanced Mechanical Components by killing other players (if you don't mind doing so).

The value of Dam Battlegrounds is mainly in Scrap Yard area. According to most players, abandoned transport containers here are easy to find Advanced Mechanical Components and other common materials.

However, the best method is to concentrate on farming when a Night Raid event occurs on these two maps, as the probability of various rare loot appearing will be greatly increased - of course, the difficulty of combat and extraction will also increase.

If neither of these maps has a Night Raid event and you urgently need Advanced Mechanical Components, you can also check if the event has appeared on other maps (all maps can have Night Raid events).

    Collecting materials to craft

Advanced Mechanical Components are not weapons and do not have a high rarity level, so crafting them does not require a specific blueprint. You only need to meet the following conditions:

    • Upgrade Refiner to Level 2
    • 2 Steel Springs
    • 2 Mechanical Components

Since Advanced Mechanical Components are in high demand, you won't be able to craft just one at a time, so it's best to collect as many of these two raw materials as possible.

If you plan to find Steel Springs through scavenging, the following locations are worth prioritizing:

    • Dam Battlegrounds map: Power Generation Complex and Water Treatment
    • Spaceport map: Vehicle Maintenance
    • Blue Gate map: Warehouse

In addition, Steel Springs have a relatively high chance of appearing in most industrial buildings or huts in Dam Battlegrounds map.

If you want to save time, you can also exchange them directly with Celeste; consuming 6 seeds will get you one Steel Spring.

The other material, Mechanical Components, usually appears more frequently in Blue Gate and Dam Battlegrounds maps, or you can consume the following materials to craft one:

    • 7 Mechanical Parts
    • 3 Rubber Parts

The last requirement is to upgrade Refiner to Level 2. If you haven't built this workshop yet, you'll need to start from Level 1. The relevant upgrade materials include:

    • Level 1: 60 Metal Parts, 5 ARC Powercells
    • Level 2: 3 Toasters, 5 ARC Motion Cores, 8 Fireball Burners

Once Refiner reaches level 2, all the items you can craft there include:

    • Electrical Components
    • Crude Explosives
    • Mechanical Components
    • Durable Cloth
    • Advanced Electrical Components
    • Advanced Mechanical Components
    • Antiseptic
    • ARC Circuitry
    • ARC Motion Core
    • Heavy Gun Parts
    • Light Gun Parts
    • Medium Gun Parts

    Recycling other items

Although this is not the mainstream way to obtain crafting materials, if you are lucky and skilled enough to obtain extra high-level items, you can also recycle them to help craft new weapons.

Currently, the following regular items yield Advanced Mechanical Components upon recycling:

    • 1 Leaper Pulse Unit: 2 Advanced Mechanical Components
    • 1 Bastion Cell: 2 Advanced Mechanical Components
    • 1 Bombardier Cell: 2 Advanced Mechanical Components
    • 1 Magnetic Accelerator: 1 Advanced Mechanical Components

It's worth noting that the number of Advanced Mechanical Components provided upon recycling the following weapons depends on the weapon level:

    • Bettina
    • Bobcat
    • Osprey
    • Renegade
    • Torrente
    • Venator
    • Tempest
    • Vulcano

The initial amount is 1, and for each level increase of the weapon, the number of Advanced Mechanical Components obtained from recycling increases by 1.

    Why collect Advanced Mechanical Components?

Although ARC Raiders has received several updates so far, the item and weapon systems haven't undergone major changes, so Advanced Mechanical Components remain very useful.

Based on this, we can also infer that if more new weapons are introduced later, their crafting recipes will probably still include this material.

Therefore, whether you want to craft existing weapons in the game or prepare for future updates, Advanced Mechanical Components are essential.

The above is all the information we have for you regarding Advanced Mechanical Components. We hope it will provide you with the necessary help for your future Rustbelt adventures!

ARC Raiders Volcanic Rise Map Prediction: Will the Heat Hazards Be the New Game Changer?

    Posted: Jan 20, 2026Views: 1296

Although Cold Snap update has ended, Raiders' thirst for new maps, weapons, unique environments, enemy types, and vehicles hasn't died down. Players crave new content to drive the game forward, bring new challenges, and maintain the fun and unpredictability of the experience.

Fortunately, the developers recently released ARC Raiders' 2026 roadmap, confirming the release of several new maps in 2026, focusing on creating unique experiences rather than simple reskins, which has players eagerly anticipating its release.

While this is just a verbal promise without any concrete confirmation, the recent discovery of a hidden icon called "Volcanic Rise" on the ground map has caused a stir. Could this hint at a new map with a scorching volcanic environment? If this news is reliable, what impact will this new volcano-themed map have on player strategies? Let's take a look!

ARC Raiders Volcanic Rise Map Prediction: Will the Heat Hazards Be the New Game Changer?

    In-game Clues

Of course, the reason this potential volcanic map has garnered so much discussion isn't just based on unfounded speculation about a related icon name. Many players have shared clues they've noticed in-game, all hinting at a potentially fiery location in future ARC Raiders games.

First, the hidden map icon, Volcanic Rise, isn't just a name hint; it closely resembles real-world volcanic locations, such as Mount Vesuvius in Italy. Furthermore, place names like Acerra, Decimare, and Tracollo on the map are associated with destruction, collapse, or floods in Italian, echoing the volcanic theme and potentially bringing new challenges such as extreme heat.

If you frequently visit Trader Apollo, you'll likely remember the dialogue, "Something about the ground rumbling and mountains spewing fire," directly describing volcanic activity. We believe developers never include too much unnecessary dialogue, so this could also be a hint about the ground environment raiders might encounter in the future.

Finally, many players have spotted real Volcanic Rocks and thick plumes of black smoke rising from maps like The Blue Gate, even replacing nearby giant ARC machines, suggesting that volcanic activity is already present or about to occur.

These elements indicate that the studio is preparing new volcano-themed content, although this has not been officially confirmed as of early 2026.

The giant ARC on ARC Raiders Blue Gate was replaced by volcanic smoke

    Map Concept and Speculation

There are many theories about how this new volcano map will function, but our personal speculation is that it will be closely related to Magma Drill.

As we know, after ARC robots began invading the surface and almost completely destroyed humanity's living environment, they began mining resources from deep underground.

This new map will probably include a giant ARC ship, which will take them underground to collect rare earth resources and lava. This Magma Drill activity undoubtedly further squeezes humanity's living space, but through long struggles, humanity has gradually adapted and found ways to use ARC's drills to strengthen their base.

In normal maps, the drilling rig won't activate; however, during Magma Drill event, players can capture the ship, eliminate all ARC enemies guarding it, and then activate the drilling rig to collect resources to sustain humanity.

So, all you need to do is capture the drilling rig, eliminate all ARCs, activate the drill, and plunder resources like crazy.

Currently, each Magma Drill event is expected to be time-limited, approximately every 20 minutes, with a wave of materials available to collect every 5 minutes. The more you collect, the more loot you can gather.

However, the key point is that your drilling process may generate noise, which will attract the attention of enemy factions and raiders throughout the map, and could even trigger volcanic activity. This means that while exploring this map, you not only need to be wary of threats from various factions vying for your loot, but more importantly, be aware of the ever-present threat of volcanic eruptions to avoid losing your life and all your collected items.

What impact might the new volcanic environment have on players?

As we mentioned before, we haven't received any concrete information about the new Volcanic Rise map yet. However, given its volcano theme, we can expect it to introduce lava flows, fire hazards, volcanic eruptions, and high-temperature mechanics, forcing players to constantly move and utilize cooling items or safe zones to cope with the heat damage.

    • Environmental Hazards: Lava rivers, volcanic ash clouds, and potentially periodic volcanic eruptions are expected, all of which will alter the map's shape and introduce dynamic challenges.
    • Heat Mechanics: Similar to Cold Snap, extreme heat will gradually accumulate, damaging players and forcing them to frequently move to cooler areas or use cooling gear.
    • New Arc Enemies: Volcanoes may spawn unique Arc variants, such as erupting Bombardiers or Hornets equipped with flamethrowers. Anything is possible, which could completely change the strategy of existing maps and require players to adapt to environmental threats and new enemy designs.

    ARC Raiders BluePrints Giveaways

    How to Prepare?

Therefore, in this brand-new map environment, players not only need to balance PvE threats and PvP encounters, manage resource shortages, but also cope with new terrain hazards. So you must prepare in advance.

    • Coping with Heat: Focus on crafting or acquiring cooling items, similar to gear for Cold Snap weather.
    • Finding Safe Zones: Look for locations on the map that may show caves or metal structures. These places are usually sturdy and reliable, providing shelter from the heat.
    • Increasing Fire Resistance: Prioritize equipment or consumables that increase fire damage resistance.
    • Adjusting Gear: Since volcanic lava will probably restrict player movement, it is recommended that you prioritize using ranged weapons to deal with aerial ARC threats and use mobility-focused gear to traverse lava.

These are our current predictions for the possible new Volcanic Rise map in ARC Raiders. However, please allow us to emphasize again that these are only predictions based on currently leaked information and clues, and are not final content. But perhaps our intuition is correct! IGGM will continue to update if more new map content is leaked, so please stay tuned!

ARC Raiders: How to Get Surveyor Vaults Safely? | Locations and Farming Methods

    Posted: Jan 15, 2026Views: 4873

Surveyor Vaults are one of the most important items in ARC Raiders. Several quests and item upgrades require them, but finding them is slow and dangerous.

Especially in solo play, you can easily get caught in an attack. Currently, the most reliable method is considered being looting ARC Surveyors.

In the latest update, the developers have confirmed that ARC Surveyor is the only harmless AI enemy in the game. It not only drops Surveyor Vaults but also many blueprints and other rare items, making looting a good option.ARC Raiders: How to Get Surveyor Vaults Safely? | Locations and Farming Methods

However, these enemies are very rare, and players may never encounter them early in the game. The following guide provides their locations and information on how to obtain Surveyor Vaults from them, as they are adept at rolling away in Arc Raiders.

    Acquisition Methods

While directly destroying ARC Surveyors will drop Surveyor Vaults, this method is extremely dangerous. Killing them requires time and ammunition and often attracts other raiders. If you’re playing solo, you’re more likely to be attacked or have your loot stolen by other raiders.

The best method is to wait for Electromagnetic Storm. This changes ARC spawn points, causing more crashed ARC Surveyors to scatter across the map. This means you have a greater chance of finding an opening, and you can use Electromagnetic Storm to create an efficient farming loop, avoiding unnecessary combat.

Of course, destroying ARC Surveyors yields substantial items, including rare items like Surveyor Vaults and ARC Motion Cores, making it well worth the effort for skilled players or multiplayer groups.

When an ARC Surveyor takes damage, it will lose its outer armor shell and drop fragments, which you can pick up later. It will constantly try to escape, and all you need to do is keep attacking until you destroy it.

This guide will introduce two methods for obtaining Surveyor Vaults from ARC Surveyor.

    Non-Combat

Since ARC Surveyor will not attack you, the key to this route is to move quickly, stay alert, and evacuate rapidly after obtaining Surveyor Vaults. Therefore, keep your equipment as streamlined as possible, prioritizing practicality in item selection rather than choosing heavy equipment that consumes your stamina and movement speed.

After entering Dam Battlegrounds, start moving towards the lower left corner. Scrapyard and Old Battleground are the anchor points where ARC Surveyor spawns during Electromagnetic Storms. ARC Surveyor will fire a light blue beacon, and you will see a black smoke marker in its direction. Follow the marker to find it, approach carefully, and quickly break down the door to loot Surveyor Vaults.ARC Raiders ARC Surveyors

ARC Surveyor may also contain other rare ARC Raiders items, which you can take as needed, but be mindful of the time and evacuate quickly before other raiders arrive.

While looting Surveyor Vaults, remember that Electromagnetic Storm will shock you, so avoid prolonged combat. Skip over ARC Surveyors that have already been looted to avoid wasting time, and quickly retreat after acquiring enough items.

    Combat

Upon finding ARC Surveyor, your first priority isn’t immediate attack, but securing a favorable position to cut off the enemy’s escape routes. The Surveyor will rapidly roll and reset after being attacked, entering the next transmission cycle.

Therefore, cutting off escape routes and launching a fierce attack is crucial. It’s recommended to use heavy ammunition and grenades to shorten the time needed to inflict core damage.

When it stops operating and begins transmitting data, this is its vulnerable moment. You can use Showstoppers to destroy it; these grenades emit an electrical pulse, temporarily paralyzing ARC Surveyor for 10 seconds, after which you can shoot it with weapons or ignite it with grenades.

Of course, you can also use Photoelectric Cloak, which will prevent you from being detected by ARC Surveyor, but it will slow you down. Therefore, choose a weapon with higher firepower for a quick victory.ARC Raiders Combat ARC Surveyors

The best weapon is Deadline. Although it makes a loud noise when placed, it’s enough to quickly eliminate ARC Surveyor. If you plan to use guns, you’ll need a weapon with a high rate of fire and high penetration; Renegade and Venator are good choices.

After destroying ARC Surveyor, it will drop various fragments. You may obtain ARC Alloy, ARC Powercell, ARC Motion Core, ARC Circuitry, Advanced ARC Powercell, Sensors, and Surveyor Vault.

    Use Scenarios

So far, you’ll need to use 6 Surveyor Vaults in ARC Raiders. Five are used to upgrade Medical Lab III, and one is used to complete Mixed Signals mission. After completing the mission, Shani will reward you with a Photoelectric Cloak and a Raider Hatch Key.

In general, It's recommended that you gradually familiarize yourself with its spawn patterns, movement routes, and the distribution of surrounding enemies through multiple attempts. Plan your supply and evacuation routes in advance; this will significantly reduce the risk of failure.

Also, don't be greedy. Evacuate promptly after obtaining key items. A steady and methodical approach will allow you to accumulate resources more efficiently. As long as you maintain this pace, Surveyor Vaults will eventually become a reliable source of the items you need.

That’s how to search for ARC Surveyor and obtain Surveyor Vaults from it. Have fun playing!

ARC Raiders Second Expedition Preview | Start Date And Future Updates

    Posted: Dec 23, 2025Views: 3029

The first expedition in ARC Raiders concluded on December 22nd, and the game doesn't give you any time to rest! If you want to participate in the second round, you need to start preparing now!

In ARC Raiders, expeditions are designed for players seeking novelty and self-challenge. Although it might seem like you're back to square one after the expedition ends, you'll receive more permanent rewards as an incentive to complete the next round.

Based on this, you can consider the expedition and its preparation phase as a season in ARC Raiders, and the end of the first expedition means Season 2 has begun.

Below, we will introduce the known information about the second expedition and other possible upcoming updates.

ARC Raiders Second Expedition Preview | Start Date And Future Updates

Second Expedition Start And End Dates

The start date for the second expedition's departure window is tentatively set for February 22, 2026. Although the end date has not yet been announced, based on the first expedition's duration of 6 days, the second expedition should end around February 27-28.

This means you have about two months to continue experiencing the thrill of PvPvE combat while collecting various types of ARC Raiders items to submit as expedition materials. This duration is also similar to the first round.

If you missed the first expedition, or participated and found it worthwhile and want to continue, you can plan your game schedule based on the expedition start countdown in the game.

As for the specific materials needed for the second expedition, you should be able to view them through the relevant tabs or menus after the new phase of the game officially begins.

Based on the experience of the first expedition, it should be resources that can be easily found by killing ARC enemies and scavenging. Most are easy to obtain, and even if some are more difficult, you can solve the problem by trading with merchants.

Should You Participate In The Expedition?

If you are not new to ARC Raiders, or have at least played similar games, then you should know that the purpose of the expedition is to reset everything, giving you the opportunity to find new combat and item collection fun.

The friendly aspect of ARC Raiders is that you can choose whether to reset or not, rather than being forced to participate, making it more suitable for casual players.

Based on the rewards from the first expedition, you can not only receive temporary buffs that help with participating in new expeditions, but also several permanent rewards, among which the increase in skill points and storage space are the most valuable.

Based on this, it is foreseeable that to encourage more players to participate and to compensate those who missed the first round, the rewards for the second round of ARC Raiders expeditions will likely be even more generous.

However, if you are the kind of player with limited game time, whose progress is already behind, or who cannot collect all the expedition materials, then this event may not be suitable for you.

Alternatively, you can spread out your participation, only joining one expedition every 2-3 times. This way, you can avoid getting bored with the game through timely resets - if ARC Raiders remains popular for long enough.

It's worth noting that the workshop, which was supposed to be retained after the first expedition, has been reset, whether due to bugs or other reasons. This unexpected result caught many players off guard and ruined their gaming experience.

Currently, the developers have not yet responded to this. If it is fixed later, that's good; if not, and subsequent expeditions continue to reset the workshop, the number of participants in expeditions will probably drop significantly.

What Else Will The New Expedition Bring?

As a long-term ongoing event in ARC Raiders, the expedition tests your resource and coin farming abilities, making it similar to a seasonal test in the game. Therefore, players will default to considering a complete expedition round as a season.

Therefore, the start of the second expedition also means the arrival of Season 2. From now on, the weekly trial count will restart from Week 1, and more updates are expected to be released shortly after Cold Snap.

    New Map Condition: Toxic Swamp

Among the new content added in Cold Snap, Snowfall is a landmark event. It further enriches the game's playability by creating cold waves and snow on the map that affect your movement and survival.

Previously, players discovered a way to preview future updates by modifying the game's date. It's hard to say whether this is a bug, as the developers haven't fixed it, so you can also preview Toxic Swamp using this method.

If you change your game time to January 19, 2026, you will find a task called Deliver thermal rocks in that week's trial, which must be completed under Toxic Swamp map condition.

The limited-time challenges in the three-week trial before that were still centered around the environmental effects introduced by Snowfall. Therefore, some speculate that ARC Raiders might announce another major update before January 19, 2026.

While the exact nature of Toxic Swamp is currently unknown, its name, the new trial content, and the mechanics of Snowfall provide some clues.

This condition will probably introduce toxic or corrosive swamps and gases to the map, causing you to lose health if you fall into them. On the other hand, it might also introduce new items to the map that grant immunity to the toxic gas and restore health.

Despite facing various controversies, ARC Raiders, a relatively new game, won the honor at TGA in late 2025. If it continues to receive stable updates and improvements, it should gain even more popularity in 2026!

    Posted: Dec 20, 2025Views: 15308

These items include many materials you've seen before, such as Coffee Pots, Durable Cloth, and Plastic, meaning many items you previously thought were useless now suddenly have a practical purpose.

Completing the entire event objective will reward you with valuable ARC Raiders Blueprints and a large amount of Merits currency, and even the game's premium currency - Raider Tokens! So, put on your snow boots and join us to learn everything about Flickering Flames event and how to unlock all the rewards!

ARC Raiders Flickering Flames Event Guide: Full Phase Task List & Material Location Revealed

    Event Overview

First, Flickering Flames event will run until January 13, 2026. It is associated with Cold Snap map modifier you will see.

Cold Snap is a winter effect, and you will see snow effects on different maps, which rotate every two hours between Dam Battlegrounds, Buried City, Spaceport, and Blue Gate. Note that this event is not available on Stella Montis map, only on these four maps.

On these maps, you can collect Candleberries and other high-value loot, but you will be affected by the cold if you stay outdoors for too long. You will need to go indoors to warm up before you can move around the map again.

It's worth noting that, unlike Electromagnetic Storm or Night Raids, you can use Raider Hatch Key in these map events.

    Event Tier

To complete this event, you need to progress through all 25 tiers, which you can level up by collecting Merits. These are the number of Merits required for each tier and the rewards you will gradually receive as you level up:

    Projects

Fortunately, completing the accompanying projects can greatly speed up your progress. You can access them by clicking on Raider tab and then going to Projects.

Flickering Flames event projects are divided into five different stages, each requiring the submission of different items.

    1. Candlelight

    • Empty Wine Bottle x1 - Firecracker x5
    • Plastic Parts x25 - Merits x1000
    • Durable Cloth x5 - Merits x1000
    • Candleberries x20 - Raider Tokens x50

    2. Decorations

    • Candle Holder x3 - Red Light Stick Blueprint
    • Light Bulb x3 - Merits x1000
    • Industrial Battery x1 - Merits x1000
    • Candleberries x50 - Raider Tokens x50

    3. Presents

    • Snap Blast Grenade x5 - Trailblazer
    • Duct Tape x10 - Merits x1000
    • Film Reel x1 - Merits x1000
    • Candleberries x60 - Raider Tokens x50

    4. Beverages

    • Frying Pan x2 - Merits x1000
    • Music Album x2 - Merits x1000
    • Candleberries x70 - Raider Tokens x50

Completing each stage rewards you with the corresponding Merits. Upon completing the project, you will receive 10,000 Merits. This means you only need to earn another 5,000 Merits, or 500,000 XP, to complete the event, significantly reducing the difficulty.

I must remind you that this project is optional, but completing it will make the event easier and more enjoyable. More importantly, you'll receive generous rewards upon completion. As you progress, you'll unlock various customization options, colors, emotes, and 250 Raider Tokens. So, it's definitely worth doing.

    All Flickering Flames Items

In total, across the five stages of this project, you'll need to submit many different ARC Raiders Flickering Flames items, specifically, as you can see above, you'll need to find at least 260 Candleberries, which might sound a bit daunting.

However, by completing the various stages of the project, you'll actually receive 180 Candleberries as rewards. This means you only need to collect an additional 80 in-game to complete the task. Besides Candleberries, you won't need to specifically farm for other items in Flickering Flames event. So, it's not actually that difficult.

    How to Collect Candleberries?

Candleberries can be found on bushes scattered throughout Cold Snap map conditions. We recommend using an interactive map for easier searching. These interactive maps show potential spawn locations for these items, but this doesn't guarantee their appearance.

Candleberries grow on bushes with red berries and are easy to identify. You can simply walk up to them and collect them in a few seconds. Each bush yields one or two Candleberries, and they can stack up to 10, so you can store them in your Safe Pockets.

Depending on when you play, you might only be able to farm Candleberries on specific maps, but we found them easy to find on Spaceport map, especially in the northeast area. We consistently found around thirty Candleberries in this area each time. So, give it a try; you won't leave empty-handed.

However, be mindful of the temperature's effect on your raider. You'll need to periodically run into buildings to warm up. Also, don't forget to bring some extra bandages to treat cold damage if needed, and some Adrenaline Shots to quickly restore stamina and maintain fast movement, thus reducing the risk of cold damage.

ARC Raiders: How to Collect Candleberries?

    Phase 1 Items

Next, we'll detail the items you need to collect in each stage besides Candleberries and how to obtain them. First, the first stage requires 1 Empty Wine Bottle, 25 Plastic Parts, 5 Durable Cloth, and 20 Candleberries.

Empty Wine Bottle is an item found in residential and commercial areas. You can easily find them in Pale Apartments, Ruby Residence, and Pattern House.

You should already have Plastic Parts. If you've run out, you can also trade for them with Celeste in the trading interface using seeds.

As for Durable Cloth, it's also easy to obtain. You can craft it in Refiner using Fabric, or easily find it in raid mode, especially in medical areas.

    Phase 2 Items

For the second stage of the project, you will need 3 Candle Holders, 3 Light Bulbs, 1 Industrial Battery, and 50 Candleberries.

Candle Holders are items found in residential areas and are easily found in the residential areas mentioned earlier, especially in houses in Buried City and Dam Battlegrounds.

As for Light Bulbs, we usually find many of them on Blue Gate map. Especially in large underground areas, where there are many electronic devices, you don't even need to loot cars; you can find them in many other containers there.

Industrial Battery can also be found in the underground area of Blue Gate. But an even easier place is Hydroponic Dome area of Dam Battlegrounds.

    Phase 3 Items

In the third phase, we need 5 Snap Blast Grenades, 10 rolls of Duct Tape, 1 Film Reel, and 60 Candleberries.

Snap Blast Grenades can be crafted or obtained from merchants. At Explosives Station, you can craft one Snap Blast Grenade using two Crude Explosives and one Magnet, which is very inexpensive. You can also get three from Apollo every day for 2400 coins each.

As for Duct Tape, if you need it, you can exchange 10 rolls from Celeste for 60 seeds. They are also very easy to find.

Film Reel is a residential item and can be found in drawers, kitchen cabinets, and similar places in residential buildings in Buried City. It's only a blue item, so it's quite common. However, make sure you have a safe so you can put it in there once you find it.

Buy ARC Raiders Blueprints at IGGM Now

    Phase 4 Items

In the fourth phase, we need 2 Coffee Pots, 10 Fireball Burners, 2 Water Filters, and 60 Candleberries.

Candleberries can be found in the same place where you find Industrial Batteries. In Hydroponic Dome area, you'll find them scattered everywhere.

Coffee Pots are also residential items. So, as before, they can be found in all the standard residential areas, red lockers, and apartment areas.

Then there's Fireball Burner, an item dropped by Fireballs, and can be found in almost any building on any map. They respawn quickly, so even if you arrive a little late to a place where a player has already killed some Fireballs, you'll usually find them respawning after a few minutes.

    Phase 5 Items

For the final phase of the project, you need 7 Mushrooms, 2 Frying Pans, 2 Music Albums, and 70 Candleberries.

Music Albums and Frying Pans are again residential items, and you'll easily find them in the same locations.

Then there are Mushrooms, which some people might find a little difficult to find. However, the easiest way is to go to Spaceport and look for mushroom trees near Trench Tower hatch on the east side. There are many mushrooms growing here; you can pick them. We once collected 10 mushrooms in one go, so you can easily reach your goal.

Okay, that's all the locations for finding the items needed for the Flickering Flames project. Once you've collected them all, you can submit the quest and wait for your rewards! But don't relax yet, completing the project doesn't mean the event is over. You still need to earn another 5,000 Merit to complete the event, so get going!

ARC Raiders All 75 Blueprint Recipes Guide | How To Save Your Time On Crafting?

    Posted: Dec 18, 2025Views: 9799

Although the controversy surrounding ARC Raiders' use of AI voice acting at TGA hasn't subsided, players and developers seem to have shifted their focus to the new Cold Snap Update.

The core of this update is the new map condition Snowfall and the limited-time event Flickering Flames. In addition, regular mechanics and content have also been updated, such as newly added quests and blueprints.

Blueprints are valuable game items at any time; many other game items you collect require blueprints to be crafted into useful gear.

Considering that almost every blueprint has different recipe requirements, we will provide detailed recipes for all blueprints so you can craft faster with existing materials or collect materials more efficiently.

ARC Raiders All 75 Blueprint Recipes Guide | How To Save Your Time On Crafting?

    How To Obtain Blueprints?

As one of the important items in ARC Raiders, BluePrints are similar to a crafting menu. After unlocking your workshop, you can collect the necessary materials according to the blueprint recipe to craft the weapons or other advanced items you want.

More importantly, blueprint unlocks are permanent, meaning that after consuming a blueprint, as long as you have enough materials, you can theoretically craft the finished product repeatedly.

Fortunately, despite their importance, the acquisition mechanism for blueprints is not much different from other game items, mainly including the following channels:

    • Completing quests given by NPCs
    • Completing all weekly trials on time after reaching level 15
    • Adventuring on various maps to find containers or enemies with loot

The blueprints obtainable through quests are fixed, currently only five:

    • Burletta Blueprint - Industrial Espionage Quest
    • Hullcracker Blueprint and Launcher Ammo Blueprint - The Major's Footlocker Quest
    • Trigger Nade Blueprint - Sparks Fly Quest
    • Lure Grenade Blueprint - Greasing Her Palms Quest

    All Blueprint Recipes

After Cold Snap Update, there should now be 75 ARC Raiders BluePrints. Most of their recipes are different, and if you start crafting without knowing the recipes beforehand, you'll quickly find yourself missing this or that material.

Therefore, a more efficient approach is to match your existing materials with the blueprint recipes, select the blueprints for items you can craft immediately, and fully utilize your resource inventory before continuing to collect more materials.

Based on this, we have listed all currently known BluePrints, their recipes, and workshop requirements.

If ARC Raiders releases more major updates in the future, new blueprints may also be added. In short, to ensure the game's playability, there won't be a fixed limit on the number of blueprints; all you can do is continuously collect materials and craft.

ARC Raiders Expedition Preparation Guide | How To Deliver Sufficient Materials?

    Posted: Dec 11, 2025Views: 3716

The first ARC Raiders expedition window has been confirmed to start on December 17th and end on December 22nd. You need to submit items and coins to participate, with a minimum level requirement of 20.

Although the player community is not entirely satisfied with the rewards and gameplay of this expedition, fortunately, ARC Raiders doesn't force you to participate.

Of course, if you don't mind, using this opportunity to reset and maintain the game's cycle is also a good option.

In fact, we have already introduced a lot of information about completing the expedition in other articles, and this time we will provide detailed instructions on collecting the materials needed for submission.

ARC Raiders Expedition Preparation Guide | How To Deliver Sufficient Materials?

    What Is Expedition Preparation?

The period from December 17th to 22nd represents the final departure phase. Before that, there is an approximately 7-week preparation phase. All of these combined constitute a complete expedition.

The preparation work can be roughly divided into 6 stages. The first five stages require you to collect different items or a sufficient amount of currency. To do this, you must participate in enough battles over the 7 weeks, or craft some items in the workshop.

    Part 1. Building Materials

This part of the expedition materials mainly consists of building components or materials, which can be found in most industrial areas on various maps.

However, some materials can be obtained directly by looting containers, while some rarer materials, such as Steel Springs, may require you to defeat specific ARC enemies. Here are all the materials required for Part 1:

    • 150x Metal Parts
    • 200x Rubber Parts
    • 80x ARC Alloy
    • 15x Steel Springs

    Part 2. Metal Component Materials

This part of the materials includes:

    • 35x Durable Cloth
    • 30x Wires
    • 30x Electrical Components
    • 5x Cooling Fan

The rarest item here is Cooling Fan, mainly found in areas that were previously technology-related buildings. Although Durable Cloth is not very rare, it's not easy to farm, even in relevant medical or commercial areas.

In contrast, farming Electrical Components and Wires is much simpler; you just need to carefully search within buildings with electronic equipment.

It's important to note that there's always a risk of encountering other players trying to steal your loot in any building. Therefore, before collecting resources, you should also consider improving your character and existing gear through safe ARC Raiders services.

If you find collecting some materials too time-consuming, you can also obtain them directly from merchants or craft them in the workshop. However, crafting requires blueprints, which themselves require farming.

And on the one hand, not all items have corresponding blueprints, and on the other hand, low-rarity items don't really have crafting value. So ultimately, it depends on your combat power and resource inventory.

Part 3. Daily Items And Special Modules

This batch of materials is special; most are easily obtainable everyday items, but there's one rare component that will prove challenging. These are:

    • 5x Light Bulbs
    • 30x Batteries
    • 20x Sensors
    • 1x Exodus Module

The first three resources can be found by scavenging in abandoned vehicles and electrical or technological areas, but Exodus Module can only be obtained in Exodus zones.

In ARC Raiders, Exodus refers to the lost era of space travel, and more specifically, these zones include Acerra Spaceport, Rocket Launch Sites/Launch Towers, and Post-Calamity Housing/Avionics.

The tricky part is that these zones are often surrounded by many more dangerous ARC enemies, so you still need to be prepared to face them to complete this part of the material collection.

    Part 4. Advanced Components

The expedition materials in this section can be found by entering the relevant areas, but it requires sufficient time, and some may be hidden in locked containers, requiring you to collect keys separately. These include:

    • 5x Humidifiers
    • 5x Advanced Electrical Components
    • 3x Magnetic Accelerators
    • 3x Jumper Impulse Units

The most difficult to find are Magnetic Accelerators, which only appear in Exodus zones or can be obtained by salvaging Queen Reactors. Additionally, Jumper Impulse Units only drop after killing ARC Jumper enemies.

Part 5. Collecting Items With Specific Total Coin Value

This collection task tests not your ability to collect specific items, but how to plan effectively to obtain different types of resources with varying total coin values:

    • Combat Items - 250,000 coins
    • Survival Items - 100,000 coins
    • Provisions - 180,000 coins
    • Materials - 300,000 coins

It's important to remember not to misinterpret the requirements: you need to collect items that meet the required coin value, not earn coins! If you mistakenly sell all your acquired resources for coins, you'll be the biggest sucker around.

If you have time and don't want to take risks, you can collect items by looting in safer areas. However, if you want to complete the collection quickly, you can prioritize challenging rare ARC enemies and dangerous missions.

How To Check Your Stash Value?

Among all the reset rewards from the expedition, the number of skill points depends on your stash value - the maximum is 5 points, corresponding to a stash value of 5 million.

We've already introduced the main methods for quickly farming this many coins in other articles, and this time we're bringing you another little tip: how to check your stash value.

If you're playing on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S, you can open your inventory by holding down LT/L2 button after entering the game, then press A/X button to select all items and view them.

If you're playing on a PC, you can not only follow the above method to perform similar operations on your PC, but you can also do so by changing the date on your computer.

The day after the first expedition departure window opens is December 18th. If you change your computer's time to this date in advance, you can immediately view the value of your inventory items in the game. While it's unclear if this is a bug, it does work.

That's all for this time. If you plan to participate in the expedition but haven't finished collecting resources, you need to speed up, because there's less than a week left before departure! Don't let your previous efforts go to waste!

ARC Raiders Expedition Project Window Delay: Full Reset System & Buff Stacking Explained

    Posted: Dec 08, 2025Views: 4724

Recently, the developers of ARC Raiders announced that they will not open the expedition project departure window as scheduled on December 15th, but will instead begin on December 17th and end on the 22nd, two days later than originally planned.

While slightly disappointing, this isn't entirely bad, as this brief delay actually gives players more preparation time until the window closes.

You will have six days to allow your raider to permanently leave The Rust Belt and embark on a new journey with the caravan you built in the expedition project, carrying some buffs and advantages.

Next, we want to delve deeper into the confirmed information about this expedition project window to understand what the actual expedition reset is like and what advantages we will gain. So, let's take a look.

ARC Raiders Expedition Project Window Delay: Full Reset System & Buff Stacking Explained

    How Does Expedition Work?

First, the expedition in ARC Raiders works similarly to Call of Duty's Prestige system. Players participating in the event have their current character progress reset, forcing them to create a new character when the next expedition project begins. However, this doesn't mean players will lose almost everything once the six-day window ends, and their efforts may not be worthwhile, as participating players will receive some permanent rewards that will make their next game journey easier.

What Buffs Does The Expedition Project Provide?

Now, suppose you're about to leave Speranza. When an expedition begins, all ARC Raiders items in your inventory are counted towards the expedition.

During an expedition, your raider can gain a maximum of 5 skill points. The exact number depends on the total value of your inventory and coins at the time of departure. In other words, the total value of all items in your inventory plus the total value of all your ARC Raiders coins is your total value when you leave the expedition.

An item worth 1 million coins can provide 1 additional skill point for your new raider. You can gain a maximum of 5 skill points, but this requires your stash and coins to be worth at least 5 million.

When you restart the game, everything related to your game progress will be reset, so your skill tree, level, stash, workshops, crafting abilities, and blueprints will be lost.

Notably, your initial tutorial after your first deployment in Speranza will be skipped, meaning all maps and potential workshop upgrades will be available immediately after your reset. While you'll still start from scratch, you'll gain these basics without any tedious steps.

    Permanent Rewards

If you choose to reset Expedition, you'll also gain some permanent unlocks, mostly cosmetic, including:

    • The Patchwork Raider outfit
    • Scrappy Janitor Cap
    • Expeditions Indicator icon
    • Skill points (depending on stash value)
    • +12 Stash space

These are decent upgrades that you can gradually accumulate as you continue participating in Expedition system.

    Temporary Buffs

In addition, you will receive some temporary buffs:

    • 10% Repair Buff
    • 5% XP boost
    • 6% more materials from Scrappy

Please note that while skill points, extra inventory space, and cosmetic items are permanently unlocked, these account-bound buffs will expire if you choose not to participate in the next expedition. In other words, if you stop participating in this system, you will no longer be able to obtain these temporary buffs.

The buff effects will increase over the next three expeditions, but can only be triggered once per expedition project window. Therefore, the stacking mentioned here means that the more times you participate in this system, the stronger these buff effects will become.

A reminder that the expedition window will open on December 17th and last until December 22nd. This is different from our initial expectations; you must register during this period. They have stated that the value of your inventory and coins will be calculated when the window closes, not when you register. Therefore, you can continue to scavenge for resources and try to accumulate 5 million coins before the window closes.

Of course, we know many players don't intend to participate in the expedition system, so if you choose not to reset, you can continue building caravans, and all progress will be retained, allowing you to keep working until the next window opens in a few months.

    Why Reset Expedition Progress?

The main reason many players feel participating in expeditions isn't worthwhile is that each reset makes them feel like all their previous efforts have been wasted, making it completely unworthy of trying.

However, ARC Raiders development team has provided an explanation. They stated that progress wipes have always been difficult to balance in multiplayer online games, and a mandatory global wipe has some obvious benefits. Players who have invested a lot of time can relive their initial grind, and for a period of time, the game environment will be fairer.

The optional expedition project window is a solution proposed by the team to address some of the problems that mandatory wipes inevitably cause, especially reflecting their respect for the time players have invested in the game. They want to give players a choice.

The developers even stated that if you haven't completed as many tasks as you want, you can continue to loot, build, and expand your resource reserves. You can also participate in Expedition system and gain buffs, rewards, and bragging rights during the next possible Expedition window. However, it's unclear whether the permanent rewards offered in each Expedition window will be the same.

While the rewards aren't numerous, this does create a unique experience, allowing players who genuinely want to reset their progress to receive cosmetic items as a reward after investing significant resources in completing the entire Expedition project.

As for temporary buffs, you can think of them as clear advantages. However, some may not see it that way, as these buffs only make your gameplay slightly easier; you ultimately start from scratch.

However, we don't yet know the specifics of Expedition project departure window, only that it's part of a major December update on the roadmap. Therefore, we can consider this the first step in a game update. It's expected to be a multi-step process, including balance adjustments, new content releases, and more. Let's look forward to the official opening of the window on December 17th!
