Along with May 4th, the Star Wars^TM Day, there are a series of celebrations during Star Wars: The Old Republic. In order to thank fans for their long-term support, SWTOR developed more than one event and provide gifts.

The 2020 Celebration's gift is the M4-Y9 Astromech Droid Mini-Pet, which could follow you around and beep when prompted across the galaxy. Beyond that, there are also a Collection Unlock sale and Double XP event for several weeks in May.

In order to unlock the Astromech Model, you can log in SWTOR between May 4 and May 10, and it would be available in your in-game mailbox for free, other than that, you don't have to do anything. The Bonus is valid for all of the existing and future characters on any live servers of SWTOR.
